Delivery department liars

After 2.5 hours in the phone rectifying a delivery error they made, was promised if I reorder the item (which I still haven't received credit for the first order) they GUARANTEED me it would be delivered in the next morning. Well, guess what?!... No delivery this morning. Contacted the delivery department to find out the item isn't even the warehouse and cannot be delivered until next week....LIARS!!!!!! Why would they make such promises???? Because they are unscrupulous and unethical!!!!

I've called this corporation many times, and still haven't heard back from them about my case. I just want an update on my case!

Maintenance Agreement

MY name is Beverly Johnson, I reside in Houston, Tx, I purchased a warranty from sears. My air condition recently stopped working. I called sears to schedual an appt. for repairs. I was told it would take two and a half weeks, before they can service my air condition. It's hot here. I would like to still be alive when they arrive.

Ordered cover for grill on line and promised delivery in 3days. After 6 days no sign of it. Called customer service and was told to keep waiting because their computers were down and the couldn't and wouldn't do anything to help me.

Bought a riding lawn tractor, delivered April 15, 2013, have used it twice for a total time of around 2 hours, went to use it for the 3rd time, and it completely stopped cutting grass all together!!! Called service dept., part has to be ordered, than a tech will come out (2 weeks later) to install part. For a brand new machine to break down this fast doesn't say very much about "product reliability", they tell me I can't return it until a service rep looks at it, it's still within the 30 day period customers have to return items such as this!! This is my last purchase I will ever make at Sears!!!!

I recently took my Sears lawnmower in for repair. Got it back. A week later when I went to mow, I discovered the key was missing. Since then I have emailed, I have spoke with and I have chatted online with customer representatives. I have received promises, misinformation and absolutely no success. Is it because Sears has my money already; or is it just very incompetent help or maybe they don't care. I really think it is all 3. Well the 48 hours they promised me I would receive a phone call from customer service has passed. Another lie. I am going to post this on Yelp and other consumer sites.

Sears stinks

I nought a water heater from Sears, it is still under warranty. It broke. I have made 10-15 calls to them and 11 days later, it's still broken. I have had to go to a laundry mat to wash my clothes, my gym or work to take showers and boil water to wash dishes. I have a plumber bill that they were suppose to reimburse me for but have not! Shop at your own risk. I recommend Home Depot or anyone but Sears!!!! Maybe this is why they are doing so poorly.

Bangladesh

Stop shopping at sears for cheap clothes while workers in contract shops used by Sears are suffering low wages, lousy conditions and banning of unions. The over 1200 workers that died in Bangladesh is a criminal aact. America does nor need cheap clothes made on the backs of poorly treated workers working in unsafe conditions. Shame on Sears and WalMart and other U.S. retailers.

After registering with Sears, I found out that they automatically ship any gifts that are purchased off my registry to my address. I called Sears and tried to get this changed or at least put a warning on their website and they said that was impossible. I was informed the only solution to this problem was to have my guest order the item (outside of my registry) and then have them call Sears to get the item removed from my registry. This is absurd for multiple reasons and the fact that no one that I talked to understood what a baby shower or bridal shower was (bringing gifts for the bride to unwrap) made this problem even more frustrating. I would like everyone to know about this issue so future brides or expecting mothers won't have to go through the same level of aggravation that I went through. AVOID SEARS!!! .

Do not buy Warranty

Brought a upgrade Sears Gas Mower, salesman said buy the warranty and you get 2 of tune ups included. Paid $65.00 for it, this spring brought it in...said NOT included!! Sent a compaint letter in, made calls...almost 2 months later....STILL waiting! And you wonder why Kmart/Sears is the same brand....saddddd!!!!

Sears Keeps Your Money

My wife and I bought a washer and dryer last night on a debit card. She decided to cancel the transaction the next morning. Now they say it could take up 6 -8 months to get a credit back into our account through the computer. So, in view of that, they are sending us a check (which could take up to two weeks). :-(

Vaccum repair service

I've had a vaccum in for repair since April 1 it is now May13 and still no vaccum. Every time I call I have to wait on hold 10 to 15 minutes and repeat myself because they never make a note of it on there computers. I keep getting the run around because they don't want to give me a replacement. What good is the extended warranty then. Sears service has gone down hill I will never buy another item from them again. I give them a negative 10 for a rating but I have to give them one star because that is what they offer.

very bad service

I was a customer for many years , sears service is the worst no one cares , they don't stand behind there wty's and most of there so called managers are just plain rude and have no clue , but what makes it worst & its beyond me why would a manager just flat out lie to a customer , this can't be forgiven to be treated in such a manner . tool dept. at sears in king of prussia in PA.

Worst ever. Quick to sell $10K furnace equipment. Then forget you exist. Stay away from Sears unless you want to get ripped.

Poor Repair Service Hours

We purchased an exercise bike from them a year ago. Paid for the servcie contract. They only have service hours during working hours. They are definately not geared for the customer. I will never buy from Sears again. I am so disappointed in the service.

Irresponsible

I have yet to receive my family portraits or refund! They are giving customers the run around concerning this issue. Sears should be liable for this issue. I understand another company ran the portrait studio, but my receipt clearly state I paid Sears! Therefore, Sears took my money. This used to be a well respected company...NOT anymore. Please tell all your family and friends not to shop here. Customers are NOT first!

People, save yourself and do not shop at this store. Especially, online. This is the worst I have ever seen. I can't wait until sears finally goes under. It would serve them right.

I was treated badly after purchasing a air conditioner and a vacuum cleaner and several other items from the store. I have always purchase my large items but will never buy or refer anyone I know to buy from sears again. You need to learn a thing about customer service, you've lost it over the years, but the customer still required it. And should be treated so, that is why I will stay with MACY'S FROM NOW ON!!!!!!
