What is Sears thinking

I got a post card about the humidifier recall. When I called the # 855 400 4641 I was asked for my email address and then was asked fro my (Social Security #.) Then I called to report this was lied to and told corporate had no phone #. When I called Corporate I was directed back to the recall line. Are they scamming people out of their SS#s in the side?

Sears.com buys their mdse. from Wal-Mart

I ordered a Hoover Linx Cordless Vacuum and it was shipped from Wal-Mart.com/ordertrack

Wow. You just severed ties with Paula Deen. Yes, she made a mistake. She has apologized. But, of course, it will never be enough. I guess you people at Sears never make mistakes. Do you? You show me one person who has never said anything negative or derogatory in their life. And I will show you a saint. I wouldn't be so quick to judge. I don't believe all of the facts have come out yet. I haven't shopped your stores in a long time. And this decision compounds why I never will.

BEWARE

Take your business elsewhere. My 19 month old range oven will no longer work. I had purchased an extended warranty and scheduled an apt for repair, Sears did not show and gave reason as their records were not updated to new address and phone when I made the appt. When the tech found out the new address/phone around 3:30 PM he refused to keep the apt as he was on his way home. I was rescheduled for the following week and placed on a call list in the event someone else canceled their appt. Service techs are outsourced and are not Sears employees. Calling my local Sears to complain did not even rate me a call back. I am DONE with Sears. Wish I had read the reviews before replacing my original Sears range. DO NOT buy from Sears!

Almost thievery!

I would give them minus 10 stars but it is not available. Notice that this site is not "affiliated with them [Sears] in any way." Why bother. They took $1600+ from my family, kept the $$$ for weeks and wouldn't deliver the appliances as ordered. Sears is no longer relevant.

Scammers

I bought a Bosch dishwasher, installation and haul away of my old Bosch dishwasher two months ago. The money was taken from my account the same day I ordered the dishwasher. The delivery date was changed four times without notification. After numerous calls to Sears, I was told that the delivery date had been changed again. Sears has had my money ($1,000) for two months. I still don't have a dishwasher. I have called and asked to speak to a Supervisor. The calls have been disconnected before I got to speak to a Supervisor. Customer help is non-existent. I've spent $10k on Sears appliances over the years. NEVER AGAIN. Sears will probably go out of business within the next year or so anyway, judging by this website. It sounds like they can't resolve even the most basic customer issues.

Sears warranty sucks so bad. I bought a brand new tractor and now that it's broke down noone wants to help me I'm calling the BBB and I'm going to file a complaint and I'm gonna call the attorney generals off and file a complaint I think that everyone that has problems should do the same because this is BS

worst experience ever. could not believe that Sears would have the worst customer service, who did not care about fixing any problems. I purchased windows with installation for almost 11k. the house is colder then ever, windows were not finished, cold air blowing in every room around the windows. Called them numerous times, and got the reply that i can report them wherever i want the did not care about it. Dont buy Sears windows, tons of problems, bad quality, way overpriced. horrible experience, and definitely not buying anything from Sears again. Dont fall for the sweet sales person talk, everything is a lie

Save your money buy elsewhere

I have many sears appliances in my home all with extended warranty. the service dept. for lack of a better term leaves much to be desired. appointments take forever. service people dont show up for scheduled appts. When contacted to speak to a manager they are never available and never call back. they put you on hold forever!! and all they do is verify your phone number over and over. Save your money shop elsewhere because my experience has been that all I have purchased is a headache.

Sears service is the pits. From the service center to corporate is a joke. Bought one year ago and the engine went bad and when the service tech to repair it, he didn't show. No one i talked to says they can do nothing except re-schedule for more than two weeks further down the road. Totally no help from sears. Been a sears customer over 25 years, but i'll not buy anything else from sears. So much for satisfied customers.

Sears is horrible

Brought a brand new BBQ grill with a 5 year warrenty used it 3 times and it is not working. Spent an hour on hold with customer service only to be transfered right back to the begining and had to explain my story each time, and was told it could not be repaired for 3 weeks. I finally got in touch with a supervior who could not help me. Tired call the store directly and no one answers the phone. Tried several times and several different departments and still no answer, if you wait on hold to long it automactically drops the call. Had to call corporate head quarters and now I'm still waiting. I will never use Sears again, they have the absoulte worst customer service I have ever had to deal with.

Boycott Sears

Don't buy their warranties; they don't honor them. I'm done with Sears. Looks like they're going down the tubes anyway. They are rated one of the worst companies for customer service, and I have experienced this first hand.

Unbelievable horrible customer service The service tech had no parts or even knowledge about the problem Now I have to wait another two weeks to get someone here. Had to call headquarters for any resolution. Btw. Refrigerator is only 8 months old

Goodbye sears

Never buy another thing from them again Their products are terrible and customer service is the worst by far.

Delivery nightmare

Horrible customer service. Call center is outsourced to who knows where and completely worthless. There is no way to talk to anyone who can do anything and every time you call you get a different person. Sears is not the Sears of old.

Wow!

I just was stood up on my fifth attempt from Sears to deliver a simple bed set. I got corporate involved after the fourth one. What is going on with you guys? Does nobody care about guest relations? Going to demand credit returned and go elsewhere.

Waiting for credit

returned a garden tractor for credit May 23rd. Now almost 5 weeks later, still no credit. Every person you speak with keeps you on hold while they review the file, then tells you they will send another e-mail to have the issue looked into. Absolutely the worst excuse for Customer Service. You can't speak with anyone who has the authority to resolve the issue.

No need now

I was going to turn in a complaint on a two week wait for service on my freezer unit, but by the looks at your rating you really don't care about customer service! I've learned my lesson never again. You are your own worst business.
