Sears Air Duct Cleaning service charges you for vents they don't clean
Sears Air Duct Cleaning services charge you for air ducts they don’t actually clean. Unfortunately, I recently had Sears Air Duct Cleaning service clean my air ducts. The technician counted and charged me for 27 vents however it is very clear that many vents were not cleaned or even opened, because the technicians left a mess at each vent that they did clean and they did not disturb the furniture or boxes to get to the other vents. Their large filthy piece of equipment leaked on my hardwood floor and ruined my carpet. I have been trying to talk to a supervisor at the service location 414-760-8900 but no one answers the phone, I leave a message and customer service reps from a Viriginia office call me. Virginia office has terrible customer service. Sooooo disappointed in Sears; I have bought their products with great satisfaction and am shocked at how awful their services are.
Horrific Customer Service
I so wish I read these posts before I bought from Sears! My washer is two years old and broke already. Its been horrific trying to get someone to fix! Sears has now been here 4 times in the last 3 weeks. Poor diagnostics and parts ordering and reordering are at the root cause. No one cares when you call and no one can help. The supervisors are useless and so is the corporate office. I call there and they transfer to a representative who does NOTHING. Absolutely agree will NEVER buy ANYTHING from Sears again. Calling today to cancel my cards!!
Poor service
I am a customer with a maintenace agreement for years on my water heater. Once my water heater started leaking and the pilot went out, I called Sears for service. The technician came and reviewed the water heater and recommended a replacement immediately. My family is now on day 5 and Sears has not been able to schedule a date to replace my water heater after 5-6 attempts to get service. Why have a maintenance agreement if you can not honor the agreement? I am a long-time customer of Sears and I am very dissatisfied with this service. So what happens next with a customer who has used Sears to purchase all of her products. Hummm. -- go to someone else in the future.
Bad Customer Service
I had a bad plasma TV replaced with a new LED TV. Sears came out and the NEW TV was damaged. They took the old TV and left the damaged TV. Now they won't help get the NEW BAD TV replaced like they promised. Keep calling but customer service keeps hanging up. Installer will not answer his phone. No one answers their phone when calling. Sear has gone from bad to the worst store. I won;t have anything to do with Seasr again.
service stinks
Takes several trips and wrong parts to get appliances fixed. People on this number are same one as other 800 numbers and are arrogant and flippant. I buy my tires elsewhere because having 4 of same style was almost impossible now I guess I will have to dind a new appliance provider as well. GOOD BYE. SEARS AND GOOD RIDDANCE!!
Bad Service
My hot water heater went on Saturday 8/3/13. Called Sears made a purchase and was advised that an installer would call me later Saturday or Sunday and make an appointment for Monday. Sat. & Sun. no call. Called again on Sunday was told I would get a call on Monday AM. Took Monday off from work to wait for installer. No call on monday. Called Sears again - transferred to a "specialist" on hold for 1 hour. Told that they had no installers in my area. I live within 20 miles of 2 Sears stores and they have no installers!!! Had to cancel the order - after 3 days . Could have called someone else had they told me that on Saturday!
Pitiful customer service
Purchased an elliptical about a year ago. It has broken multiple times and Sears has had to come out to repair it. Recently the repairman said it couldn't be repaired and needed to be replaced...that is where the real circus started. No one is any department documents or communicates with anyone else. I have been hung up on and sworn at by so called customer service representatives. Phone calls to resolve the issue take hours. I have taken time off of work to wait for repairmen/delivery people who never show up. I've had it. I would take a free elliptical from them at this point. I will *never* purchase another item from Sears.
terrible service
Sears is the worse place to even buy any appliances, you buy the extended warranty and it takes them forever to get your part put in. I used to love purchasing from Sears, now I will never ever buy any appliance from them I would rather go to PC Richard & Son - they never given me a problem when it came to fix something on warranty.
Is it customary to be rude?
This is aimed at the parkersburg wv sears auto center. When i need repairs to my vehicle i usually purchase my own part, from the same supplier that the service provider purchases theres, to avoid being charged double for the same part. I called today to get an estimate on a repair, i informed the man that i have the parts needed. He proceeds to tell me, in stern slitely dissapointed tone, that he cannot use my parts. So i entertained the situation but asking how much it would be for the repair if we use " your parts". He gave me the outragous quote, and i said that it was a little more than i expected, the man just hung up! Didnt even ask what parts i had, didnt wait to see if i was going to proceed with the repair, nothing. Now, i dont normally do this, but this isnt the first time this has happened to me at this location.

Luckily my wife is a lawyer and we are seriously considering filing lawsuit against them for defective merchandise, improper installation and damage to our home. I've been trying to get them to correctly install refrigerator and freezer kit for about a year now. I didn't know that a company or even a person would ever be so irresponsible and unprofessional. They take it to the next level of horrific.

The worst service ever! Trying to get oven door put back on and was told $75 just to come out but labor would be extra. I asked for the labor rate and was hung upon 3 different times. I looked online for a corporate number for repair service complaints and got the same place. Absolutely ridiculous! I am fuming mad! I already scheduled another repair service with excellent reviews and can't wait for Sears to show up somI can slam the door in their face! See how they like it! Can't even cancell the appt, cuz they keep angling up.
Service sucks
I will never buy another product from sears nor will anyone I know...Horrible service and extended warranties are a waste of money. I have had a new fridge leaking on my new hardwood floors and repair can not come out for a month, No one to file complaints or speak with. This company is borderline fraudulent No one should purchase from here.. I just renovated my whole kitchen and went with another appliance company -----
Disatisfied customer
Sears pressure washer and lack of service was appalling, after repeated calls and emails and different divisions I simply cannot get a simple gas cap to replace the broken one that was shipped with my product. It is now six weeks after delivery and I still don't have a cap and therefore my pressure washer has remained unused...I can't rate this company , their service or their abilities low enough. The scales should reflect negative stars. I will not purchase another product from Sears, period. No wonder they are in such trouble, they are inefficient, unorganized, and woeful.
Pathetic Customer Service
I am living in a nightmare of horrible customer service. I hate Sears and I will never do business with them again. Forced to open a new account yesterday to recieve a discount even though we already had a Sears Mastercard, I was told I needed a regular Sears card. The cashier really messed up my order and rang it up 3 times with 3 different totals. What was supposed to take "2 minutes" took over 30 minutes...ended up paying cash for the purchase and now have a credit card I don't need and I have been on the phone over 2 hours trying to close it. I have closed my Sears Mastercard since I have that card in possession already. The other is a challenge because it was opened yesterday & their is no physical card yet. I can't begin to tell you how rude and aweful the personnel at Sears and Citibank have been...multiple calls, nasty people and so much time wasted...Never will I do business with them again!!!!

Perhaps the time has come for the FTC to review this website and make a determination concerning Sears and its representations and warranties.
repair service
Gallery tv b and scheduled appt waited most of day no tech so called in and was told they were over booked and I would have to reschedule after I waited all day. There are no excuses for not advising me early in the day so as to not waste an entire day. This is not the Sear of yesteryear. Advised rep this I was not satisfied and I would replace washer and dryer with another brand. They did not seem to care about there failure of service or loss of customer. I have USD Sear appliances for years but not anymore.
Poor Service
Hot water heater has been installed for two months. Pilot light will not stay lit. Called service and they said it would be a week and half. No hot water. I called the store manager and he said he can't help me ... call service and ask to speak to a supervisor. Was left on hold for over 30 minutes....finally hung up. Last product I buy from Sears. Will contact Better Business Bureau to see if they can help.
AC repair FRAUD!!!!!!!!
Our central AC wasn't working and the Sears AC tech said it was the Freon. He said he put it in and charged us over $500!! The AC still did not work. When we called an AC tech from 'Angies List,' he told us that Sears Never put the freon in the AC!!!!! He could tell this by the pressure levels!!!
I have had 3/different technicians come to my house to repair my refrigerator 3/different times. Each appointment was a 3/weeks window. I lost over $400.00 worth of food and Sears refuses to make good on it. My refrigerator is still not repaired it does not freeze anything and now only warm air is coming out. This has been going on since the first week in August. I have been without the use of my refrigerator and nobody at Sear care. The contracts they offer means nothing. What good are they if you cannot get your appliance repaired within a reasonable time. I will never buy another appliance from Sears. Whoever reads this I do not recommend that you do so either.
