A friend of mine told me about Save A Lot. I was very excited when I went home and got on the computer to see all the 10 for 10 items. One of the products we use all the time (butterball turkey bacon) could not wait to go shopping. We are about 1/2 hour away so we went on our day off. We were very disappointed to see that alot of the 10 for 10's weren't there. So we were told to come back they were to have more products coming in. Each time we came back the Turkey Bacon still did not come in or they got one box and was gone in an hour. Asked for a rain check, they do not issue them. What I waste of gas, I had also sent some people up to Save a Lot for the deal and they were as disappointed as I was. Hope that if they do this type of offer again they make sure they can supply the product.
My daughter, and my 4mnth old grandson, were shopping in your store on july 1st when she slipped in a puddle of water on her way out of the store. The "wet floor" sign was 4-5 feet from the puddle.there was a worker close by putting new sacks out for customers, INSTEAD of cleaning up the spill. What is more important... putting out new sacks or cleaning a spill, therefore insuring the safety of your customers?When i contacted the store to tell them she had fallen,while holding my grandson, and asked for the corporate number, two different people REFUSED to provide the information. Even after i told them why i wanted the number. She is left with bruise and a very SORRYshopping expierience. I will never shop at one of your stores again because of the way this was handled. She has left meddages on your main number, hopefully you will respond.

I,m writing to inform sav a lot they have to some think to repair pricing at that store#185 port orange. fl 32127. I've been going to that store when it opened, for the last year an a half, the shelf price says one price when you get to check out it,s higher,this is the 7Th time it has happened. when I told the female at check out, she your not the only one it happens to.that is BS.they make you fell like it,s your fault. I,d like to talk w/someone, to explain more P.O.Mr D MILLAR.
At a Save-a-Lot in Florida, I was once their best customer. Due to complete arrogance on management's part, and unfriendly and poorly trained employees, I have shopped there twice in the last year. These are my two major complaints, which I have repeatedly informed headquarters of and gotten no response whatsoever. One---Whenever they have a featured sale item, usually chicken of some sort, at a great price, they NEVER get the item in stock! The excuse is usually, "we never got it in, or, the truck is late." Once one employee "spilled the beans" on what really was happening. He confessed that they were "ordered" to send the featured item to the new store up the road. In other words, screw the "old faithful" customers. Two---Whenever there is an opportunity to make things right for the customer and keep their business, employees are pathetically under empowered to fix a bad situation, or just too busy, unfriendly or clueless to do so. The silence concerning my complaints from headquarters is deafening. That's why Save-a-Lot has gone from my favorite store to my most detested! Publix, with lower prices and coupons, and fast and friendly service, now reigns as number one. My blood pressure has gone back to normal! Save-a-Lot...where shopping there will ruin your day and kill you eventually! RIP..."really ignorantly pathetic"!
Good place to shop due to most prices except meat. Not good to employee, most only tell you what you want to hear. There is only one guy that I truly trust and his name is James Richter. From Store #556..
i'm a savalot custmer i spend 300 to350 every month but i just came from there an will not return never nor will any of my family or friend's on jax,fla on lemturner they never have enough cashier's ell today the same thing it was only 1 cashier at her register an 20 people in line i was toward the back of the line with maybe 5 item;s so did the people behind me so the fake security came an said the next in line so by me an other's being right at the register i walk toward the line he was so nasty he would not let us in the line so a lady that was the 4th in the frist line came to get in the line that finally open in which they was not next go through some people left because they siad it was unfair so i so by then the manager came an stood by the sercurity laughin like i'm a joke so i ask the manager to please come to the line we where we were an told him that they need more lanes open by this time i finished paying for my things the sercuirty told my husband for me not to return in which i don't care i live close to foodlion,saverite,an publix. within walkin distance so i will still eat can;t come back because i told the truth corprate need to check your store before u lose all ur customer's
SO I PAID WITH A CHECK. THEN YOU SEND IT THROUGH ELECTRONICALLY, FINE, THE MONEY IS THERE. THEN YOU SENT THE PAPER CHECK THRU. I PAID AGAIN. MY BANK RESOLVED THE MATTER. NOW YOU HAVE SENT IT TO COLLECTIONS. HOW DUMB. I WORK HARD FOR MY MONEY, AND I AM NOT ABOUT TO PAY TWICE. GET A NEW ACCOUNTANT.
I am sick to my stomach about your store closing in Milledgeville. You guys don't know how hard it is to find groceries affordable and now the only store I could afford to shop is closing. There are 100's of families that shop that store and all of them are shocked and horrified that it is closing. We can't afford to go to the Macon store or the store on Gray Hwy. The money we saved shopping our store will be spent on going further to shop the Macon store. I wish I could get you to see the difficult position you are putting us in. Actually, your not putting us in a difficult position. You are pulling the rug from under our feet. Some of us can't afford to shop anywhere else. I know I am just one person but please see what you are doing through our eyes. please, please please don't close this store.
I sincerely doubt the Save-a-lot corporate office will ever read this but for all it's worth, store number #185 in Port Orange Florida definitely needs to be investigated. I called the bad apple hot-line twice, once in reference to an employee whom was buying reduced products under the watchful eye of the manager and another on an employee who spends a good portion of her time outside the store smoking while on company time and got absolutely nowhere. Both employees still work for the company. I could of course go on about this, that and other shocking revelations but I'd most likely be wasting my breathe as this company has never showed any genuine concern for its employees in any way, shape or form. They are masters of telling employees what they want to hear, bringing their hopes up and than shitting all over us.
i work for a brand new store in hubbard ohio and i tell ya i have never worked for anyone who belittle his employees like rick stacy has....... or singled out...... i think this man needs to learn how to talk and deal with his employees on or off the clock and not just when they are customers. i have left my store in tears and ready to quit. i need my job and if rick stacy does not learn some business ethnic they hubbard people will learn really quick not to shop there.

on sunday i went to to lylle ave store for bread i was approched by a man pushing one of your shopping carts at the entry way he showed me boot leg dvds and said he also had cigerettes i told him i wasnt interested he was very rude i said something to the security guard (who looked more like a street thug then a guard he told me if i didnt like it to shop some where else i dont think this is the image you want to project for your company in talking to other peaple i found out the guy with the dvds sells his bootleg wares out of your store and uses the security guard as protection

I live on 47th st on the southside of chicago and we had a big snow on the 1st of feb.2011 and on the 2nd the store at location #00362 closed People were still come to the store to buy what ever after 3:30 pm, I don't care if you had one can of peas on the shelf stick to the store hours.............. I like the staff very much and that includes the works too but to tell them shut down the store in time of need is CRAZY it had to come from the top.............The Ghetto make money for your stock wholed and the poor poeple have to suffer on a dummy call.............Ed Jackson

I was fired by save a lot in 2006 because they said I reduced meat for my son which I did not I found out later it was my perishable clerk who did it but because I was angry and cussed at John Hayes I new I was fired they waited 7 days before they fired me for employee purchase policy Icalled unemployment they said I was unjustifibly fired and I collected. I called corporate they said they would investigate and get back to me ,they sent me a letter saying they agree to the firing they said they investigating and talked to employees. I was told by those same employees noone came and talked to them so they do fire based on who you are . I fyour not in there click you get fired.
I have talked to the store people at the North Kansas City Missouri store several times about being able to properly order enough dairy products. I guess I have been wasting my time, your business is about supply and demand and customer satisfaction! These people are so stupid they can't figure out how or how much buttermilk to order. It has taken weeks sometimes to get some. I love the product, but I am taking my business somewhere else fro now on.
