uncaring staff for consumer
My 4 year old daughter was hit by a rude ladys buggy while cutting her and my husband off to get to the checkout the cashier never said anything and after cutting them off they let her leave her 1 or 2 year old child unattended in the buggy while she continuisly went back for items she forgot. then the cashier wanted to scan items as slow as she could. when i spoke to the manager about this incident and explained this is not the first problem in her store she replied i didnt see anything and was sorry i chose not to be a customer at that store anymore, no reassurance of fixing future probles like this in that store. save a lot needs to start employing grown up s that know what to do in a management position and not affraid to stand up do the right thing for their customers
badmanagement
I was shopping in savalot just today july 2nd at 430 and o over heard the manager talking in a tone that isn't appropriate to speak to a employee. If I were the employee I would of walked out at that moment and sue the company. The employee was telling of how another employee had been on cell phone while outside bringing casts in and the employee was threatened that seen it that if she went to the office bout it then that manager said she would go over that employee head and say she stole money. And that along with other things. From what I understood that employee on cell phone lives with the manager and is that managers son girlfriend. What I don't get is how could that girlfriend even be an employee there. This was in Toledo Ohio at Reynolds rd. Location tour

I went to the store and they didn't have what I need, so I was about to leave and they tried to not let me, the workers in B-town Ohio are disrespectful, and they all should be fired.
Tawas Mi. has one of the best Save A Lot Stores. Always stocked. Small produce dept. but things are usually nice and fresh. Prices are good also throughout store.

Your store in Chester SC needs more help!! Ex:A stack of Items in boxes and when box is empty?The customer has to throw the empty aside and open another.A constant problem:A lot of customers in line and only have one cashier.Last : Itwould be nice if == A L L== the items had prices.GOOD customer service bring in more customers.I hav owned AND worked in a business.
Dishonest Manager
The manager at the Save A Lot Bayou Vista is a dishonest employer. She is disrespectful to her employees and customers, she openly speaks of her employees and company business and makes customers feel uncomfortable. She also uses foul language within ear shot of the customers. She has her child at the store all the time. She doesn't deserve to have the power over other people and their jobs....

could be a management wow as well as an employee,a how do to customers,cashiers how to balance a register, example at start of shift change first ,pennies .25,nickles.75,5.00 dimes,5.00 quarters,24.00 ones,3 fives,sales floor not always a ness. throw away eggs i was shopping i bought a cont. of eggs 3 were broke they were scattered on shelf the box person or some one else every once and a while look in the cartons if they look out of the ordinary could save comp money, alls they would have to do is grab a pair of gloves from meat dept,its a very nice store employees are nice,rachael,bruce,george they were not working that day,if you need some thing ask a clerk,they are good people.
hello i have always shopped at the mt airy store till a few days ago . and the this cashier was thinking i was punting exert stuff in my cart i went to bag something the the clip cam off the bag well i was there in line putting the clip back on the bag when she was talking to the other person that was in line was telling the cashier i had bought a nice bag of potatoes 20.lb for like 2.99 (good deal) well the clip had came off my bag and she told the other person it was a nice bag for 20. lbs and she was going to wight it and hope it was 20 .lbs thinking i guess i put more in it and that makes me feel like i stole exert potatoes but i never did and i have been shopping this stores some times 5 times a week i would like to shop here and i will not till thy do something about this lady .
BAD FOOD
Hello I recent purchase, a box of cereal (Chocolate Chip Crunch) and my oldest child found an item in it that is not cereal, I don't know what it is but is very hard. I would like to reach the company who made them because I have two younger children who was also eating the cereal and could have swallow the item and possible choke.
Price over advertized
I live in Phila,Pa; I went to the Save a Lot at 29th,&York the sign on the wall read Pepsi .99 cents,i get to the register they ring up 1.00(one dollar) i was told by the cashier she said i was being petty over a penny.If they sell 5,000 Pepsi's a week that's 50.00 dollars.001percent -I'm sure if she made 10.00 an hr.and she saw her check was 9.99per.hr.it wouldn't be so petty!!!!!
Vegetable oil spilled on my jacket
I went into a sav a lot store as I always do and I picked up a bottle of vegetable oil that had a small hole in it and it spilled all over my Adidas jacket. They gave me the run around about paying for it. Still now answers its been a week and I keep getting voicemails I think I will never ever shop there again you guys are not professional in solving problems. I am not happy at all!!!!
Just Gross
I just wanted to say let you know I went to your store in Venice, Fl and I do not appreciate getting up to the register, the cashier flashing me a toothless smile and seeing her partial denture laying right on top of the cash register where anyone could see. That is very disgusting and just poor judgement on customer service. I will not visit a store that allows their employees to be so carefree with their hygiene habits.
2 management: think about relocating the store in Manchester Tennessee, there are former store outlets here, u need a larger and cleaner store. This store does great business, but it also needs to increase the inventory choices. it has a problem in employee turnover in the Regional Director need to look into this... probably the type of person that is hired. There is a great location down the street at the former Bi-Lo store. The store over at McMinnville is very large and clean.
Unfair labor treatment
The manner in which your company treats it's employees is appalling! Regardless of supposed savings I would never spend another penny in a save a lot store, and would rather make my purchases at Aldi vs Save A Lot! Your welfare customers act like animals and your employment policies allow management to treat employees like animals! You are part of what is going wrong with this country and should be ashamed!
Your Save a lot store in Marion Ohio has the most disrespectful management staff. Just because I'm a single mother of three does not mean you can speak to me disrespectfully. Learn some customer service. Who hire people who can actual appreciate their customers. This is not the first time I have received bad customer service from the same lady, and I can tell you this is the last time I'm shopping there.
From personal experience, I would never recommend the Save A Lot on Gratiot in Detroit Mi. The management is the worst that I.ve EVER seen in any establishment. Whenever I visit this store there is always things on the floor ( boxes, koolaid, water and even the whole aisle from the "manager" reseting the aisle).The stock guy, as well as the manager, constantly speak in their native language in front of customers. This, to me is very disrespectful and unnecessary. They are disrespectful to the cashiers and to the customers. The cashiers have to eat at the register because they dont have a break room. These are the kind of businesses that I dont like to give my money to. this store is noy recommended.
Monday October 22, 2012 To Whom it may concern; The sav a lot store in Midlothain, Illinois is very poor on customer service it appears that all the employees are mad and hate being there as a retire worker customer service is truly important to a business that serve the community to prove my point I suggest the corporate office send in spotters and jus observe even the manager seem like he has an attitude when ask a question or jus say hello its one word answers and the responses are low in volume it totally need a makeover or some classes in dealing w people If I had to give the store a grade it will b D- give me same respect and courtesy you give some area manager that come in to check on the store. sad bunch of characters. thxs for your time in reading my email
the savealot in jackson ky has the worst management they are rude the store is not well kept i would not recommend it to anyone

The stemmers run store at middle river maryland has re arranged its products till its almost impossible to find anything. up on asking the store manager why this was done she replied in an arrogant way it was done to increase business, i told her she was loosing business and she informed me that they have not lost any business because of this move. I spend between $400 and $600 a month at this store but will no longer shop here and that makes her a liar.
