This is one of the worse restaurants I have ever ate at ,rude behavior to your customers .When my daughter gets her stake and it has paper cooked and stuck to it you tell the manger about it they tell you not to worry about it and your waitress dose not fill your glass up till your leaving or your lobster tail is over cooked they follow you to the parking lot running there mouth to you . That is why I will tell everybody I know NOT TO EAT AT RUBY TUESDAY IN COLUMBIA TENNESSEE.
My fiancee and I regualely visited the Ruby Tuesday's in Murfreesboro, Tn. We had always had a good experience, except last Sunday. We entered the resturant and the General Manager was there hostessing and seated us. Next the waiter came over somewhat friendly brought us our drinks and took our order. Ok, 45 minutes later still no food and the waiter has been out of sight never once coming over to the table to explain why the order was taking so long or even offering drink refills. I saw the manager, called him to the table and sure enough in about 2 minutes here he comes with our food and he did apologize. Ok now our so called waiter shows up and says sorry bout the food taking so long, I said its ok he asked how the food was and then said "yea just gotta do some yelling back there in that kitchen to get them to do anything".We thought this kinda a bad statement. Then the manager came over said he was going to take care of the check, we thanked him but it really was'nt nessesary, but he was kind and took care of the bill. Now its been about 20 minutes after we got our meal and our waiter shows up asked if the meal was ok and if he could get us anything,we said no. Finished our meal and as we were going out the door the hotess was leaned against the wall by the door never looked up at us, was yawning and looked as thought she had been up all night, however during her yewn she did manage to get the words out "have a nice evening" at least I think thats what she said? Now for the real kicker to this, we where getting in our truck and backing out of the parking lot and the so called waiter that waited on us came out the door and made a very obviois hand gester with one finger and went back inside. We where appauled by his behavior, he was a terrible waiter we recieved horrible service and no we did not leave a tip!!!! We will never visit another Ruby Tuesday's especially this one and i am telling everyone I can about how awful this experince was!!!!!!
I Visited Ruby Tuesday's today and was robbed by the waitress. The Food was not all that great. I had shrimp pasta. It was overcooked and had a piece of shell in it. Salad bar redeemed it a little. Then I was robbed by the waitress. The price of the food was $16.94. I told the waitress make that $17.94 and that is including your tip, which was a dollar. I gave her a $20 and she came back empty handed. I ask her where was the $2.06. She started looking confused and the manager was behind me and I got up and said "Are you the manager". Then he started giving a lecture on what the tips were based on. Basically, the tips were based on quality, which was not all that great(I think the cooks are not required to have a culinary degree). All i really wanted to know was what happen to my change and did the waitress get a tip. She eventually said she got (stole) 3 or 4 dollars, which was all I wanted to know, and I left. So long Ruby Tues won't be back for a while. From Fayetteville,Ga
Dear sirs I have a son that works for Ruby Tuesday in Oklahoma. He is about to quit his job even though he enjoys it. He is never given a break to sit down and eat. He has worked many shifts for 10 or more hours. What is your company policy on this? He is very frustrated with this. He comes home very hungry and exhausted from these long shifts without food or a break.I think something needs to change here or the employee turnover is going to increase. Thank You, Owasso Resident
We visited your North Dartmouth, Ma location last night and were very unhappy with the qyuality of the food. My husband ordered the new steak and lobster mac n cheese. When his food came, his steak was very undercooked. He ordered it med/well, closer to the well side. He had to wait about 5-8 mins for the waitress to come back to tell her and she took it back. Then waited anoterh 10 mins for it to be brought back. she left without checking to see if it was ok. He cut it and still very undercooked, blood draining out. Sent it back a second time. By the time it came back out, all his other food gone and everyone else done eating. The third time, overcooked and tough! We finally had a manager come over at the end and nothing was done. Asked if he could do anything but at that pont too late. He didn't offer to compensate us in any way. Took 15 mins to get the check and 10 mins for card to be brought back to us. Over all, very disappointing experience. We have eaten at Ruby Tuesday restaraunts all over the country (as my husband is a traveling preacher) and never have we had a bad experience such as this one.
I visited your Rockville Location today on my lunch hour with a friend to celebrate her birthday. Upon entering at 12:43 we were seated and the waiter comes shortly after to take our drink order. We order our food (New Orleans Seafood)around 12:50, we sat and waited for approximatley 35 minutes for our food. When the waiter brought our food it was not appealing the broccoil was brown and the the shrimps were luke warm. We requested to talk to the manager, he comes out and walks pass our table to talk to the other guests before he come back to our table. I explained to him that it took 35 minutes before we received our food and the vegetable did not meet my satisfaction. He uncaring express was I am sorry we are having problems with the new menu. This is not my problem and the guest should be infomred of any abnormal suituations prior to ordering. On top of that the broccoil was sent back for some that did not look like it had been taken from the trash, when the second order of broccoil was sent to my table it was under cooked, raw!!!! The manager did not come back to see if we were satisfied, becasue he did not seem to care from the beginning. I had to request the check twice, and the food was not like it was advertised. We will not visit Ruby Tuesay again, the service is poor and the manager only seem to care about one thing and it was not the customers or their complaints. This suituation was not handled professionally at all. I am not happy and nor was my fried that was celebrating her birthday.
I love the Ruby Tuesday location in the Citadel mall! The food is usually great and the service is always amazing. We always come into the bar area for dinner on the weekends. Faithfull regulars I guess you could call us. Christina and Jenn are the best bartenders and always go above and beyond to make us feel like a guest and not just another customer. We thank you so much for a wonderful dining experience! Not just this time but every time. KUDOS to my colorado springs Ruby Tuesday!
HI, I can't believe all the bad reviews. Well mine is a good review. A friend and I ate at the Auburn, Maine Ruby Tuesday on August 21st. Our server was #708 Katie. What a wonderful girl, she is one of the best servers I have ever had. She made sure everything we ordered was perfect, which it was. The manager Holly was happy to hear we were so pleased with our server Katie and the food. My husband and I have eaten there quite a few times and have had the specials and used our coupons and never had a problem. Our servers have always been very polite and helpful. Maybe you need to promote an Auburn Maine manager and send (he or she) out to train the people with such bad reviews. Marlene
I ordered take out from the Linthicum Heights (BWI) location and was horribly dissatisfied. I ordered the portobello chicken dinner; the asparagus was over cooked and had burned tips, the brown rice pilaf came with melted cheddar (which I ordered as a healthier option to the cheddar mash) and the chicken breast was dry. The only acceptable item was the mushrooms. I can not believe I spent $15 on mushrooms!
On August 24,2010, my husband and I were in Columbia, South Carolina for our grandson's graduation from Ft Jackson and we went to the restaurant there. There was 6 of us and the service was very poor. We waited for over and hour for our food to arrive. When we got the food, most of it was cold and I had a steak and it was like leather trying to cut it and it was full of gristle. The hostess acted like I didn't know what I was talking about when I told her about the steak. She kept telling me it was the way that I wanted it cooked, which was med. She said I needed to get it med. rare. I finally recieve one that was cooked right and it was tender. Also ther were several people that came in after we did and they were waited on and served way before we were. Why such bad service?
gloucester ruby tuesdays is a disgusting place, roaches everywhere, take it from staff, you dont want to eat here
It appears that this site simply collects complaints but there is no indication of they are being addressed or not. It gives this feeling that this is just repository for complaints that'll never be seen or addressed by the corporate office. I, too, have a complaint about TWO top managers and I'm not sure if I should even type it up here. I will look elsewhere to complain first before even typing it here. I'm not sure if this is a good place to share our negative experiences at the Ruby Tuesdays in Clarksville, MD and in Columbia, MD regarding these top managers---very happy with the rest of the staff in these restaurants however and the mid-managers and supervisors... I'm still very upset about these top managers who manage these restaurants. my email is: ron_evangelista@yahoo.com
My daughter has been a loyal employee of Ruby Tuesday's for several years now. She even transferred from other store to a store further away to be with her manager. Now that she has gotten married and is expecting he has been giving her a hard way to go making up lies and slandering her to other managers at other stores so she can't even transfer back closer to her home. I will not mention names or locations yet because unlike him I do not believe in damaging a persons whole life just to make myself LOOK GOOD!I have made a phone call to the corporate office to see if they will take care of this problem employee and stand up for my daughter who deserves it. Also to let you know my daughter maybe losing her baby we will find out in a week if she has indeed lost it. Thanks ***** for all this added stress for my daughter and grandchild!! If corporate doesn't handle you I will make sure that I handle you in court!!! That is all I will say for now but will keep you up to date!!!
Yesterday evening (08/08/10),my husband and I were being seated at the restaurant n Calhoun GA, when a man (we were later told was the manager) was speaking to the waitstaff in a very hateful tone, and turned to one young lady and told her to "get that ugly thing out of my door", speaking about the lovely young lady who was our hostess. Now we eat at this particular Ruby Tuesday's quite often, and knew this one young lady to whom he had been speaking about, who on several occasions was our waitress, and a VERY GOOd one at that. To have witnessed her being spoke to/about in such a hateful manner when obviously HE was the one having a "meltdown" to put it politely was VERY upseting to me. Her response was one of grace and wonderful dignity for having to have been humilated in such a manner.( I know several others heard, I see them watching) Then after we were seated, it wasn't long before we heard the same man berating other wait staff but those in the kitchen also AND throwing & breaking dishes!! I myself was horrified! I don't know what kind of checking you have to do on your employess, but this man seriosly needs help. I told my husband that I would NOT be back until that man was no longer there. I couldn't even tell you how my meal was, I was so upset( though usually the food has been fine). I will be calling your corporate office on Monday to also report this. An atmosphere is as important as anything as far as I'm concerned in choosing a place to eat, or shop. I suppose I will begin frequenting the only other restaurant in our town that is a "steak" house. I WILL NOT return to this particular Ruby Tuesday!
We ate at Ruby Tuesdays Sun Aug. 29,10. You no longer have the Broccoli Salad or the Potato Salad on your salad bar. They were the two best things it had going for it. I ordered Broccoli & Cheese soup. The broccoli in the soup was raw. I ask the waiter to microwave it which they did. The broccoli was still raw. He did what I ask but it didn't solve the problem. He didn't ask if it was okay. We will check the salad bar before sitting down again. If those two salads are still missing we probably won't stay. Nancy George Zanesville, Ohio
My husband and I and our two friends went to the Ruby Tuesday in McDonough, GA last night for dinner. We have always enjoyed your salad bar, but not last night. We noticed when we sat down and were looking over the menu that it had changed. No big deal. That's a good thing. When we went up to the salad bar, we noticed that everything we like was not there. The potato salad, the broccoli salad, the apple salad and ice berg lettuce and romaine lettuce were not there anymore. Also, there were no sunflower seeds, etc. Needless to say, we were very disappointed. Our friend, John, sent his salad back. We loved your salad bar, but we don't now. My husband order a burger and he likes tomato on his. When the food arrived, he did not have a sliced tomato. We were told it doesn't come with tomato anymore. My friend John ordered lettuce on his, which was a disgusting little piece of dried up lettuce on his burger. Susan and I ordered entrees that come with biscuits now. We had to ask where our biscuits were. There were not many fries on the plates with burgers. My ribs were dry and not that tasty. Needless to say, we complained and the manager and waitress were very nice. They gave all of us a free meal and come coupons to come back. It is with great sadness to say it will be awhile before we go back to another Ruby Tuesday because your salad bar has been cut back. We loved the salad bar with our meal. You are going to lose alot of business because of these changes in your menu. We will not be back until you change the salad bar back the way it was. I understand you are trying to cut back to save money, but if you lose business because of the cut-backs what good will it be. These have been very poor corporate decisions. I can stay home and eat or go to another establishment. There is a lot of competition in the restaurant business. Your restaurants are not full like they used to be. It used to be people waiting outside to get a table. Not anymore. Please change your menu before it's too late.
I will no longer be eating at a Ruby Tuesday. About a month ago, I contacted you though your website to present what I take exception to during both my parents previous dining experiences and ours together for Father's Day. I mentioned to you that generally I get good service from your wait staff during visits. And, that at a minimum I give the waitress/waiter at least fifteen percent for service. That takes into consideration any discount I may have received during a visit. The servers always got the full tip before discounts. Your coupons are misleading and are not what once they had been. Call it what it is. A discount coupon. It is not "free" as you state. The square plates and in particular, the tall drinking goblets some of your specialty drinks are served in no way complimented my dining experiences. I did not come to pay for and drink ice from an ice laden glass nor is it practical. Also, I stated in my contact to you in your form specifically to NOT contact me whatsoever. INSTEAD, you did anyway leaving me this paltry, garbled ninety second message on my answering machine. Don't do that. The purple olives are gone too so am I! Every since your restaurant arrived here there has been inconsistencies and a steady decline in my dining experiences. I think that your motivation statements directed at your employees are rather silly also. Treat them well and they'll probably more likely be motivated as customers would be inclined to dine at your restaurants. Today I am also discontinuing receiving any correspondences from you via "So Connected".
Dear Corporate, I am not writing you conerning my service at anyone Ruby Tuesday but to tell you a story about my sister. Every Friday we would go out for dinner sometimes to one of your locations. My sister had been fighting breast cancer for six years and last March 21 she died. One of my sisters last requests was for us to go to Ruby Tuesdays for dinner. Three days before her passing we took her to your Gurnee store where she had dinner and was just having a good time. Thank you for all the memories. Joe Abruzzo
If I could give this rating a zero I would. That is what service we had (zero). There was 10 customers in the hole place, 2 hostess, 3 waiters and a bus boy, all of which walked by us and NOBODY even cared if we were there. My husband and I sat patiently and waited for 15 minutes before we got up and left. This location was in Fuquay Varina, NC. I am in retail and have been a waitress in the past. This should not be tolerated by any company. I do not know how a company can stay but I don't think I will ever visit another Ruby Tuesdays.
