Went to Ruby Tuesdays. Waitress brought the wrong bill so I told her. She brought me my bill and I told her the other bill better not be put on my card and she told me it wouldn't. Well then when I check my account BOTH bills (the incorrect one and mine) are taken out of my account! Thinking I can call and get it corrected - it's not that simple - I mean - it WAS NOT my bill so it should be simple but they are NOT crediting me yet!!! Then at another visit - we were the first people in (had to wait for workers to decide to open the doors). Well you would think that being the first ones in the restaraunt would be clean but NO. The previous days garbage was still FULL in the ladies room. Bathroom was dirty, whole restaraunt smelled awful (dirty) and a waiter was standing on a table where people eat - cleaning the flies out of the lights. That is just overall disgusting!!!!!!
Restaurant Tampa Road Oldsmar Florida Date: 12/20/2010 Time: Approximately 5pm I just wanted to let you know of a great experience that I had today at your restaurant on Tampa Road in Oldsmar, Florida. I typically never do this but I thought that this person deserved my feedback since her service was so fantastic. Today I took my mother to dinner and Sam was our server (Sam is an attractive blonde woman in her early 20’s). What set her apart from all other servers was her cheerfulness and attention to detail. In my career I travel extensively and get the opportunity to go to very fancy restaurants, which I actually don’t care for since I prefer casual dining. Sam has to be one of the best servers that I have had. If I have bad experiences at restaurants, I typically don’t offer feedback because it just isn’t in my nature. But when I have a GREAT experience, I want the person responsible to get the credit that they deserve. Please do that for your server Sam.
i ate at ruby tuesday and the manager and staff was very good but district manager was awful and was very biased in the way she rtreated me and my guest. for starters she didnt greet us nnor did she talk to us at anytime and she never asked us once about our experience or service but she held a meeting to scorn her staff that they were treating us like celebrities. if a person is conducting his self as a well mannered human being then why wouldnt he want to be treated special!!if a person is spending good money and tipping well why would a store meeting be held and the topic was the staff were treating us as celebs. i will be contacting ruby tuesdays by phone to file a formal complaint!!

Thank You (Ray)
Where do I start? I just came from the Ruby Tuesday location in Powell, Tn and it was one of the worst experiences I've had while dining out in a very long time. Considering that I worked in the restaurant business for almost 20 years, I feel like the manager should have come over to our table to at least apologize to us, but we never saw a manager. My daughter and I had a coupon for $10 off with another entree purchase. I had the coupon at the end of the table when we ordered and our server never once told us that we could not use the coupon on burgers. The server even took the coupon and came back about 10 minutes later to tell us that we couldn't use it. The only reason why we went to this restaurant is because the Ruby Tuesday that we use to eat at in Knoxville closed. We always order the same thing and I have NEVER had trouble using the coupon on burgers before. I paid $11.99 for a crabcake burger and $10.99 for the other burger(not Cheap by any means). My daughter ordered a plain cheeseburger and it came with everything on it and instead of sending it back she just took everything off and scraped the mayo off. My crabcake was falling apart and it was in pieces laying on the bread. Needless to say, we were not happy with our meals, but did not want to complain because we were getting one for free, or so we thought. After this experience I will never visit another Ruby Tuesday's.
this company is not very fair. they fire people for one complaint. Why would anyone want to work for them. They don't give someone a chance. People are human they make mistakes. It doesn't say much about this company. They are not very fair. People who complain about service are just looking for a free meal, seriously get a life. Your are jeoporadizing peoples jobs.
Every time I go to your Glenolden,Pa store I seem to have a bad experience! My Wife and I was just there and I waited over 20 minutes to get my drink refilled. Have you ever tried eating one of your mini burgers with out having something to wash it down? Well I just did! The girl brought the refill just as I was finished my meal. The place was not busy as we were there a little after 2PM.When she brought the refill she mentioned she had seen I was empty earier but didn't get around to bringing me a refill until like I said 20 or more minutes! I Really think that from now on my Wife and I will pick some where else to eat and also reccamend to all our friends to avoid your Ruby Tuesday's also! I just needed to vent and get this off my chest. Thank you Tom Collins Darby,Pa 610-534-5651
me and my best friend decided to go to ruby tuesday in North Augusta SC.....while having dinner my glass of water breaks into pieces in my hand....soaking my salad and my sliders and fries (which neither were replaced)....while i wasnt going to say anything my friend insisted on telling asking the waitress why wasnt anything taken off this bill cause her pants r soaked and socks and shoes r wet....so the waitress says she will take it to the manager and let her take a look at it.....well, the manager took $2 off.....are u serious? $2.00 when i could have cut or sumthing....well this is very poor management and should b addressed and handled....i have never had an experience like this before.....i will never go back to ruby tuesday's again and i plan on letting everyone know about this.......:(
I ate the Lobster Carbonara yesterday and have been up with vomiting and diarrhea off and on since early this morning. It tasted really good except for being a bit salty. Needless to say though, I wont eat there again. No matter how nice the staff is, I've seen a lot of unsanitary practices going on there.
i am a shift leader (a server who is givin keys to the store and responsibility to open and close the store being paid only 10 dollars an hour) at ruby tuesday and was written up for a customer comlaint. i wasn't givin any opportunity to explain, before i was forced to sign a form of counseling. customer was upset because they weren't greeted and said manager was "yacking" with someone. well excuse me but i was "yacking" with a customer that tipped my bartenders $175 by the time the night was over. how much do you tip????????? im more concerned that the guest that is taking care of my employees is happy than the stupid dumb a$$e$ that mozied into my bar late at night and didn't get served till one min. and a half after they arived. i am so tired of getting stupid complaints. if your going to dine in a resturant be fair and if you haven't ever worked in a resturant ask your server what all they have to do. THESE SERVERS MAKE $2.13 AN HOUR. IF YOU WANT GOOD SERVICE THEN WRITE YOUR LOCAL RESTURANTS AND MAKE SURE THEY PAY THE EMPLOYEES FOR THE WORK THEY DO. THEY ARE THE LOWEST PAID PROFESSIONAL ACTORS IN THE WORLD!!!
Dined in Tulsa on 11/24/10 with 9 people. There were two checks. One for me, my wife and two grandchildren, one for my son-in-law for his family. We gave the wait person debit cards with which to pay the tickets. Turns out, both tickets were charged to BOTH cards. A call to the restaurant on the following Saturday resolved nothing. Now I am being bounced from dept to dept at Ruby Tuesday headquarters and also to my bank. I am now waiting for a call from a management person at headquarters which should have come an hour ago. Still missing money from my account as is my son-in-law. The wait person told us it was her third day, so we were patient with some bad service. I should have known something was wrong when it took 20 minutes to run the two tickets. The manager in Tulsa told me on Saturday he would email a coupon for a dessert, that hasn't happened which is just as well since that would involve going back to Ruby Tuesday which I will not do.
today is thanksgiving even though i wasnt with family this was a very memorable event i ate at the Ruby Tuesday in woodstock. first time here at this location. It was so wonderful the music the lighting. Right from the door the hostess was very nice big smile. My server chris was so nice and knew alot about what he was selling and answered all my questions. And it was was my sides were nice and fresh. She invited me back here for the brunch. So i will be sure to bring my family to your brunch. the host wished me happy holidays. This was what i call execellent service from the host to the server to the cook and the great food i thank you all for a great holiday!
I am a server/bartender at the Ruby Tuesday's in College Park, Ga; on Sullivan Road. I have done my best and given my all every day since my hire date in 2008. I started as a server, and was advanced to the bar within a couple of months, I loved it. A few months ago, my GM was fired and another one started the next day. I knew her, personally, at least I knew her mother. She was great in the beginning, whenever or wherever she needed me I was there, when she had a wreck, I opened the restaurant, whenever she needed a quarter of weed, I made the purchase for her. I did whatever I thought I needed to do to make her transistion a good one. I was promised a management position in the restaurant, because I deserved it because I had what it took; so she said. After firing all of the other managers, and then finally hiring all new ones, I was temporarily put on the bar as the head bartender and as shift leader, so it was ok, I was still known in the restaurant as a leader which was ok for the moment. Next thing I know, I started hearing rumors about my GM telling regular servers that I wasn't going to be there much longer. In a meeting that was had after we got a ticket about serving alcohol to an undercover, it was established that everyone had to have a liquor license. I had one since 2009, but my GM didn't know that, she told a server that she knew I wouldn't be there long because I wouldn't be able to get a license because I was doing community service, something that he wouldn't have known if she hadn't told him, since she was the only one I told. Right now, I am in a dilemma, I'm not happy here anymore and I have had a clean record up until a little over a month ago, I never got wrote up for anything before, but for some reason now I've been wrote up for various crap over the last month or so...this is bullcrap!! I have done nothing wrong she just knows that I have to much on her and she's trying to get rid of me!! I don't even want my job anymore, I just want a good reference and my good clean record back!!!!
well, havent even dined yet at ruby tuesday and am not impressed. had friends over recently and thought would look on internet for good and interesting places to eat. ruby tuesday has a menu but no prices.. so too bad. went somewhere else. by the way, with all the bad reviews i noticed on this site it is odd that the ceo isnt reading them and taking some action. what a looser place.
I partonized your establishment with three friends on West Broad St., Richmond VA Saturday, November 13th. During our visit several of us went to the ladies room. One of my friends came back to the table highly upset that the two waitresses that entered when she did, had used the facilities; one even commenting on the lack of toilet tissue in her stall which I had noticed upon my visit a few minutes earlier. The kicker was that they both walked out Never approaching the sink to wash their hands. This abruptly ended the salad bar trips because one of then adjusted something on the bar....yes, she used the proper utensils, but now that is contaminated and anything else it touched. We only remained at the restaurant because neither of them was our waitress. I find this so disturbing because this is something everyone learns at home before any real public interaction. Had they been our waitresses I would have been outraged beyond your imagination.
Please bring back the potato salad...it is the best ever.
Your female manager at the Ruby Tuesday store is laughable. She has a facebook page where she has pictures posted of her pulling another employees pants down in the restaurant. Makes dirty comments on her facebook pages, talks about getting loaded, on line at work. You need to look closely at her facebook page and how she has time to be on there and work too
It’s difficult to even know where to begin, when telling of my first experience at Ruby Tuesday’s. My sister and I decided to meet in Concord NH for lunch and a day out with our children. We both live over an hour away from here. When discussing places to eat I allowed her to choose since I didn’t know the area that well. She had previously eaten at Ruby Tuesday and had a good experience. The rest of the story is downhill and VERY disturbing. We went there on Veterans Day November 11th at approx 12:00pm. Understandably they were very busy so we chatted after placing our orders. We decided we’d wait to visit the salad bar so the children could get their meals first. Being hypoglycemic I knew I would need to eat something soon but was trying to be patient, finally after an hour we realized something wasn’t right and looked in vain for our waitress who we thought might had even left for the day and forgot our order altogether. Finally an hour and 15 minutes later she comes out with 1 kid’s meal and another that we believed was a kid’s meal. It had a few pieces of chicken and a wilted piece of lettuce. Believing this had to be a kids meals and not the meal that was ordered we gave this to the 2nd child. An hour and a ½ later only 2 of six meals had arrived at our table. Then my 7 year old who happens to be one of the non-pickiest eaters you could meet says “But Mommy it’s so cold”. To the point she couldn’t eat it. After further inspection I realized not only was the pasta she ordered cold as ice, it was hard as a rock and not something I would not even feed to an animal. It’s continues getting even worse as she brings out the kids meal of chicken strips which we realize is the same identical meal as the supposed meal my 15 year old ordered. The only difference is a few cold fries. At this point she the waitress asked us if we’d wait to have her manager speak with us and she’d send him right over. At this point we are here almost 2hrs. ½ hr goes by and there is still no sign of her manager approaching us. In the mean time (again this has been over 2 hrs) she brings one of the slider meals to our table. This had previously been discussed in length that they MUST be the vegetarian version since I had not eaten meat in 20 yrs. The plate is faced towards me showing one vegetarian slider while I assume they are the same (especially since this was discussed) I start eating the slider that was facing the other way and after a few bites realize this is actually meat. Since I eat wide variety of soy products the taste didn’t strike me as odd immediately. This was the final straw and beyond negligent. I knew I would be very sick and sure enough was violently sick within a half hour of eating this. As we told our waitress we had enough and we were leaving, I was approached by a young man that literally jumped into my face. I literally had to place my arm and hand in between us to indicate he went above and beyond invading any type of personal space and it quite frankly very creepy. After taking a step back he offered his apologies but carelessly giving a vegetarian meat is like giving someone peanuts that explains they are allergic to them well in advance. I have NEVER had such a horrendous experience at any restaurant in my entire life. I have had not so great experiences but nothing that kept getting worse by the moment like this had. Quite frankly after 2+ hrs we were beyond patient and after contributing to making me violently ill we left with an “I’m sorry” and he agreed to take care of our bill. Since we actually didn’t get a meal I don’t see that there was a bill anyway. What little food we did get was hard, cold, and inedible and of course so wrong it made me sick. There is a Ruby Tuesdays close to my home but I know every time I drive by I will be reminded of the horrendous experience my family suffered in Concord NH and can’t imagine I could ever stop there.
my apologies please allow me, unlike your christiansburg management, to take the time to acknowledge and attempt to make right what i have made wrong ... in my previous review i misspelled "complaint" as such : "coplaint" such a simple thing as acknowledging your mistakes and taking steps to correct them may also make the difference in your business practice and you capitol income just saying lol good luck its gonna take another parting of a large body of water by a man with a beard holding a stick before the christiansburg store will regain my respect and gastrological interest or approval again good luck lol you really need it morons please rethink who you place in management positions
I filed a complaint and STILL they have not corrected their error. This is totally disgusting and unacceptable!!!! They have totally messedup my funds for Christmas and they are SO slow to correct their error for something that should have never even been put on my card. I should not have to go into detail since I have already done that several times now. I am never going back to Ruby Tuesdays and am telling all my friends what they have done.
