My wife and recently went to Raleigh for the weekend. We stopped in for lunch at the Ruby Tuesday on Capital Blvd. The food was ok, nothing to brag about.. We sat at the bar to watch the game. We couldn't help over hear about how poorly your place is ran. I don't think you want customers to hear about your GM and staff all being fired. I do want to say your manager I believe her name starts with a J is really nice and professional. Its not good having a place where the staff feels scared to lose their job. Something needs to be done about this.
I am writting about the Topsham maine location. my husband and Gail woollocott have been dining at this location for two years now, for gail over seven. they have become rather close to a bartender there and honestly the biggest reason they even dine there, resently they have been told that she is no longer allowed to wait on them as gail needs a both and cant sit at the bar. gail has just had breastcancer surgery and is 70 years old and at the moment is very frail. she doesnt get to get out much but once a week on her dr apt. day they go to lunch to see there favorite server/ bartender becky who has not only served them but also took the time to visit gail in the hospital, she is a wonderful asset to your company. it breaks my heart to know because of your stupid rules that becky can no longer wait on them because gail is not able to sit up at the bar! you are not only losing great customers but your taking away from the best worker you have in this location. Please understand i too am a bartender and if my boss or my coworkers didnt allow me to take care of guest who has requested me that would be my last day of work. it is hard enough to survive with the economy being as it is but to take customers away from your employees because they arent well enough to sit at the bar! SHAME ON YOU! sincerly, anne poplaski
anonymous You people need to get a grip. Stop complaining like little children and just deal with it. Life is too short to have it spent complaining about a restaurant. I think anybody whose on here complaining is pathet.
I'm not one to complain when going out to dinner but my visit to the ruby tuesdays in dandridge, tn was & always is very disappointing. I have been there on several occasions & each time I go it seems the service just gets worse & worse. My last visit & I say that literally....it will be my last visit. You send these coupons for buy one meal get one free for up to $10; so this is the deal......my dad had his but I left mine at home; we asked the waitress if both our families could use one coupon...if she would have said no I would have said it's ok i understand but instead she said...."Well i'm not supposed to but I know how to munipulate the system". I said ok. When our bill came she deducted the one but our bill was not deducted so I asked about it. She straight looked me in the eye & said I never told you these could be used....I was livid. Don't tell a customer something then not do it. Not to keep going on but I promise you I WILL NEVER EAT AT A RUBY TUESDAYS AGAIN!!!! I have told people where I live & they are like yeah I know those people don't know how to run a business. My suggestion to you.....fire everybody & start fresh or all your customers will be gone.
My husband and I ate at the facility in Morton Il, and no surprise WE WILL NEVER GO BACK.. we are currently fighting ruby tuesdays because not only did i pay 50 bucks for my meal.. but i got charged ANOTHER 40 for the couples meal who sat behind us that paid IN CASH!. they stole money from me.. told me i would have it back in 48 hours and it has now been 4 days!!! STILL NO MONEY!!! The waitress NEVER came and asked us if we wanted a refill... our food was over cooked... it took an hour and a half to get our meal hoever all the people around us got theirs first and WE HAD BEEN THERE LONGER!!! I will never go back!! Im gettin an attorney and gettin my money back!! WORFST PLACE EVER.. I WOULDNT SEND MY ENEMIES HERE!!!
I just had the worse trout ever this afternoon in Ruby Tuesdays in Middletown, NY. After taking off the thick coating I brought the rest home to my cat who also wouldn't eat it. It was dry, thin and tasteless, even with the sauce which was good (the sauce, not the fish). The service and rolls were great, although they are small and they are stingy with them. I am disappointed that I can't complain online to the company, but this is better than nothing.
Do not be fooled by the five stars that I have given in this review. When it comes to my establishment an undisclosed location. My store is great, wonderful servers, wonderful cooks, and a wonderful management team, but there are a few things that need to be addressed. First things first: Pay cuts. How is it, Ruby Tuesdays can sponsor a professional race car driver, run millions of dollars in contests, and remodel every establishment within their corporation, and proceed to cut hard working loyal employees of five to ten years pay by two dollars an hour? Secondly they proceed to hire outside management to come and run a company that they have no knowledge of, instead of promoting within. Making people feel they are in a dead end job. Is it because they are overweight, gay, color of their skin, or just not pretty enough to host, serve, or even bartender in the restaurant. If jobs were a dime a dozen Ruby Tuesdays would be left with no employees. Lucky for them the economy has increasingly declined. This time last year stock $0.89 a share. Now it is as of today $14.12. Maybe Sandy Bealle or Kimberly Grant should step into their stores and actually have a conversation with the employees who have worked these five to ten years and now have to work a second job to make ends meet. Ruby Tuesdays should take more consideration into their employees who work their best to receive insurance that they have to pay a $1500.00 deductible which includes if going to the doctor costs $200 you pay it. If you have medicine $50.00 you pay full price. The medical insurance is the worst insurance that has been known. p.s. If you are the person who worked for the company for eleven years and you even know how to run the restaurant inside and out. You know all the general management requirements and know how to do all them. Discrimination against overweight, gay, color of their skin, or "doesn't look the part", and doesn't even get considered for higher better position of management the company has to reevaluate themselves on how they run Ruby Tuesdays.
My husband and I have visited your Attalla Alabama on Highway 77 location on two occasions recently. The first time was New Year's Eve and you were very crowded ( of course ) but the service was adequate as was the food. Our second visit was Valentine's Day and of course, once again, your restaurant was very crowded but service was better and the quality of our food was excellent. My concern is that on both occasions your parking lot, especially toward the back, which was the only parking spaces available on both occaions, was literally COVERED in broken glass! It would seem to me that SOMEONE would OCCASIONALLY check the parking lot for such as this so thee would not be any tire repair bills presented to your manager.
I took my 11 year old out to your resturant on Ramsey Street, Fayetteville, NC on 2/19/2011. I have visited 5 different facilities in and around town in the last couple of weeks and was extremely satisfied with my other experiences. However, this particular visit we are seated near a group of may 12 women who are getting there checks to leave. So, now we will be the only ones in the section. I place the order for ribs, baked potatoes and broccolli. The waitress brings my plate and says "We ran out of baked potatoes and I was so busy with the other group that left. Can I get you something eles?" So I ask her about the taste of the horrible broccolli on my plate. She acts like I am just over reacting. The ribs are brought out cold, but its ok. I can manage cold ribs. I tell her to just bring fries instead of the potato. She did and I told her she needs to get the manager to taste the broccolli cause it is horrible. Then I ask for a wet napkin so I can enjoy the ribs, she comes back a few minutes later to inform me that there are no wet napkins in the building. So I get two carryout boxes, pay my bill and leave. First off there are 3 Ruby Tuesdays in Fayetteville, If you do not have baked potatoes then tell me before you cook my food. If I wanted fries I could have went to McDonalds and spent $1. I feel like my experienced suffered based upon my sitting arrangement because had I been sitting somewhere and the watress could actually do her job, I would have been told the situation and had choices. Then the brocolli alone was just aweful. To top all things off, no wet napkins. Management needs to be fired! I will continue to go to Ruby Tuesdays, but never again will I go to that particular one. I can definately find a place where $27.01 will be earned and appreciated! www.ExquisiteGifts4U.com 910-797-4539
Hello my name is Hank crouch and I am currently an employee at your Lynchburg Virginia wards road store and I have been employed there going on two years and I have been running kitchens for 15 years I am the main nighttime cook I always do up and beyond my job I feel as if I am the back bone of this kitchen but there are some issues and deep concerns about everything.I would like to start with why I have been there for two years and no review no appreciation not no advancement or as much as one free meal.I think I should have gotten review for a raise I was told I would get one but then was told four months after that rubytuesdays was now taking money from my pay rate my management team said it was a corporate dession.I think our stores do very good in sales and I along with others think that this is beyond fair.we are the ones who make it possible that we serve great food and making good money for our store they say the only thing that matters to them is the numbers and that is very said and makes my job very discuragein and I feel like my career is a dead in road from the bottom of my heart.so now I'm sorry to inform u I put in my two weeks notice with another firm that hopefully treat me with some respect and know that u guys might need to hire three guys to replace me but I just wanted to share this with u respectful and would like for all my management team to review this if possible someone has to tell the truth.

I recently visited the Ruby Tuesday's on Richmond Road in Williamsburg, Virginia and was extremely disappointed. The hostess was too busy checking her cell phone to open the door or even greet me and my friend when we walked in. We sat at the bar and was greeted immediately by the bartender Steve, who was extremely nice and funny. He made sure our drinks were always filled and kept us entertained while we waited for our food. The manager on duty, Ryan I believe his name was, continued to come over to my friend and I every ten minutes or so. We became uncomfortable when he began openly hitting on us even though I had my wedding ring on. I am not one to be rude to a person's face but I was losing my temper very fast. Our food came out wrong and the manager's way of fixing it was to make a couple of jokes and offer to buy our next drink. I have worked in restaurants before I know that buying a guest an alcoholic drink is illegal so we both declined. Steve got our food fixed and out quickly and got us some fries while we waited. Needless to say we will not be returning to this restaurant until we are sure that manager is no longer there.
Maybe someone in corporate should consider Undercover Boss. Our recent trip to the Powell, TN restaurant was a huge disappointment. My steak was mostly fat and very little seasoning. The salad bar that gets "rave reviews" was only mediocre at best. Didn't seem very fresh either. Waitstaff seemed much more interested in having a group discussion close to the salad bar than in taking care of the customers. We paid around $45 for 2 adults (no alcohol either!!). I don't intend to waste money in there again.
Your 2 for $20.00 coupon is extremely misleading and should be rewritten so that it does not confuse the customers. We left your restaurant along with a few other customers feeling like we had been lured to your restaurant by deceptive, skillfully written coupons. Your rib eye steaks are also terrible. We visited your restaurant in Elizabeth City, NC. Circle II Restaurant in the same city sells a $9.99 rib eye that is always delicious.
My wife and I live close by the Ruby Tuesday at 950 International Drive in Linthicum, Maryland. This Ruby Tuesday is the cleanest and best managed Ruby Tuesday we have ever been to. The management (Vincent Caputo) and the server (AK) Do an excellent, absolutely excellent job of running Ruby Tuesday. Every time we've eatten dinner at least (65 times) the service has been incredible excellent. This manager Vince Caputo and his server need to be recognized for their excellent work at the Linthicum, Ruby Tuesday. Thank you, Mick Luby former Operations Manager for Security(GATE & Baggage) at B.W.I. INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT.
To whom it may concern: i hAve lived in Brevard county for 17years and have been a business owner for 24 yeaers. I have frequented the Ruby Tuesday in merritt island fince I have lived in brevard and a year ago I sat at a table and was approached by a server I had not noticed before who greeted us with a presentation I never forgot. To whom it may concern: i hAve lived in Brevard county for 1 7years and have been a business owner for 24 years. I have frequented the Ruby Tuesday in merritt island since I have lived in brevard and a year ago I sat at a table and was approached by a server I had not noticed before who greeted us with a presentation I never forgot. She introduced her self as Cynthia and she was extremely personable and very attentive to our questions and requests. I continued to have a awesome experience I mentioned to my staff thatI eat out most of the time and the service in the past here was very average butI have a new found a respect for Ruby Tuesdays of merritt island as of today we continued to eat and have great service. I have started haveing my work lunches every week and always asked for her section and if neccessary waited to sit in her section. I have now been back 30 times and and have referred others to go and request her. Cythina is a an attractive young lady with the additude to always please the custemor and go out of her way to make the difference in the food industry. I am very experience in the task of finding profectional employees that can represent your company and your reputation and felt a strong need to share my exsperience with your company to hopefully set examples for others. Great job Cythina, keep up the good work... Infinity Salon & Spas, Dee Nichilo 321.525.7972
I love my Ruby Tuesdays at Citrus Park, Gunn Hwy., in Tampa, Fl. The staff is so very gracious, so friendly. They are so used to me, that they know what my preferences are, but always courteously ask if that is what I'd like, or if I'd like something else. I feel so welcome there. They know I travel, and always ask how my trip went. From the manager on down, I have never received anything except courtesy and friendliness. I used to go to Longhorn Steakhouse, but switched to RT's first because the prices were much better and the food quality was just as good; then as I began to experience the friendliness of the staff, I decided to stay at RT's. It is my favorite restaurant. Sincerely, Susan Harrison
The two stars are only for the service, which was excellent, but not the food. The last two times we have eaten at the London, Kentucky Ruby Tuesday, we have noticed a definite decline in the quality of the food. The peppercorn sirloin has been really tough both times and I also got a baked potato on the last visit that had been baked for far too long. Last night I ordered a burger and it was cooked so long it was hard and crispy. I don't know if the cook has changed or what, but the food is just awful. On a positive note, the onion rings and tea is always good and the service (usually a lady named Margaret) is exellent! We are usually there after 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday or Wednesday. Thanks.
Ruby Tuesday on Capitol Blvd in Raleigh, NC is falling apart. Fired the GM, shift manager, 5 servers. They are making servers work 40 plus hours a week without a thank you. They bring in managers from other stores who are rude as hell. Will be making a complaint on the manager who "runs" New Bern store. The employees cant clock in on Sundays till they get a table. But they have to be there by 9 am. First table walks in around 11:30. The store is being ran VERY poorly. I don't recommend ever eating at that place. I believe they should just shut the store down. The management does not care at all about the employees. Everyone has been scared of being fired everyday. They also have the District Manager running the store as well. Her direct quote on getting her position was " I didn't get my job my being nice, got it by being a bitch! Now tuck in your shirt and get to work!" is that who you want working for you?!?!? By NO means is that a "family" place. I am going to do everything in my power to get the word out on this location. They need to get rid of the managent of they want it to even get to where it was before.
