I RENTED A UNIT IN OCTOBER 2007 AND MOVED OUT AROUND APRIL 2010. THEY OWED ME 4.95 BASED ON SOME ADJUSTMENTS THAT HAD TO BE MADE. I WAS TOLD I WOULD GET A CHECK IN THE MAIL IN 6 WEEKS AND NOTHING TO DATE. THE ONE GUY WORKING THE FRONT DESK FELT BECAUSE THEY HAD TO MAKE SOME ADJUSTMENTS ON MY ACCOUNT THAT THEY REALLY DID NOT OWE ME THE 4.95. I ASKED IF I WAS SHORT BY THAT AMOUNT FOR RENT I WOULD BE PENALIZED. THE REGIONAL MANAGER IS THE ONE THAT IS SUPPOSE TO PUT IN THE REFUND IS WHAT I AM TOLD. SAD, BUSINESS IS BUSINESS IS BUSINESS. I have had great experiences with Public Storage in my previous arrangements. However this time was horrible. I feel like I was cheated and no one expressed concern so that's why I'm posting this now!!! Public Storage on Lee Road in Rochester, NY has an incompetent manager by the name of Qwan whose customer service skills are disgraceful and not up to par! He rushed me through my services and was very bothered by my presence, like I was interupting him in some sense! If you ever experience this type if treatment please don't hesitate like I did to seek further action!!!

I and my wife had no problems what so ever with your establishment until today Saturday June 5th when we went to our unit and could not access it when we went to the office we were told that someone cut our lock along with a couple other customers but we were the only ones that had items missing now this happened in April and we are just finding this out, the thief or thieves took 2 computers, stereo speakers, cds, and my wife's louis vuitton hand bags now needless to say we have insurance that only covers us to a certain amount. The problem that i have with this is why doesn't your establishment have security cameras i understand that maybe a little expensive to have but that would put your customers minds at ease when renting, i and my wife are looking for some where else more secure to store our valuables because they (our items) mean more to us than to your corporation. We are your "longest standing" customers in San Antonio, TX on Thousand Oaks. We began our partnership with you twenty "20" years ago in 1990 with climate controlled unit D-272. We then expanded to another climate controlled unit. We now have a large climate controlled unit. We just received a few dollars break on the large unit several months ago. Today we recieve your card telling us our rent is already going up again past the break point which means now we are paying more than we iniially did. In addition to the rent issue the last time I visited my inside climate controlled unit there were dead bugs, bug eggs, rodent droppings, spider webs everwhere. There was also a breech in the ceiling of the unit where all the insulation was hanging out exposing a large entryway for rodents and other pests to have their way with our valuables. I showed your on site manager whose only solution was putting down stinky rodent poison in my storage. Is this the customer service you recieve at Public Storage after "20" years of being a customer o yours? Please reply..................

Due to the economy I could no longer pay for my unit which I had for almost a year. I finally got a job in a different state and they would not wait for my first paycheck to get caught up. They sold my stuff. I was told that the check for the overage would reach me within two weeks. They had my correct address and yet they still managed to send it to the wrong address. The check was cut on May 11th 2010 and they mailed it on the 14th (why so long I do not know). I called to find out where the check was since it was over two weeks and we found the error. I told the man what my correct address was and he said he would take care of it. I waited two more days and called again to find out what the status of my check was. I was told they never even changed the address, I would have to fax accounts payable since they have me under pending again. They would not let me speak to someone about my check and now they may not even send it. I have been waiting for this check to bring my granddaughter out for the summer. The rates on the tickets keep going up because someone could not put the correct address on the check. Something needs to be done with the poor customer service in the corporate office. Rainy in the VA office is terrific but she seems to be the only one. I want my check within the next two days or on Monday I will be contacting the BBB and the States Attorney. There is no reason that I should have to continue to wait on a clerical error on your part. Feel free to call and leave a message today or tomorrow. 928-660-3644
