The Corporate Office needs to investigate one of the delivery drivers in Mt. Vernon, NY. I was driving tonight coming back from dinner when the Papa John's delivery car nearly tore off my side mirror and scraped up the side of my car! They were driving a green car with black tints. Will be in contact with the corporate office on Monday to give the license plate number.
I was craving pizza and ordered from the local Papa John's the other night. Store #2382 in Illinois. It arrived very quickly, within 20 minutes of placing the order. The delivery person was very nice and he received a very good tip from me! The pizza was exactly as I ordered it and was delicious. I give this Papa John's store 5 stars and the employees should be rewarded for their excellent and fast service! :)
The Papa Johns store in Columbia, Maryland, 9350 Snowden River Parkway, is without a doubt, the worst pizza establishment I have ever encountered. Several months ago it took 1.5 hours to get a pizza delivered, and when it finally arrived, it looked like something that had been prepared the day prior (we were afraid to eat it), and then thinking that perhaps that was an isolated incident, my husband and I used them again last night. Without going into details, let's just say that it too was a very bad experience. This time, not only was the pizza awful, but the manager proved to be lacking in all social skills. She sounded very young on the phone, and clearly she had no training in how to deal with a dissatisfied customer. My advise to Papa Johns is just this.......insist that your staff members are trained; we can all overlook an occasional bad meal, but when managers are unable to speak properly, and convey a complete thought, this is compouning a bad situation. I will take my business to one of the many other options that are available for good food, and more importantly, good service.
I took advantage of the 'Order online now and next pizza is on papa' offer, aka Signature Rewards Pizza Offer. I ordered but never received anything for a free pizza. A wk later I wanted my free pizza, I called my local store and they said to call customer service. I called CS and while on hold I heard a recorded message giving an email address to contact. I sent an email. I received an email back with a code. A few days later I tried using my code but it was not valid. I called customer service, talked to an incompetent rep that was very dismissive. I persisted and after 45 mins I was told the offer had expired! I fought and argued until the mgr gave me a new code. I placed my order but at checkout got a message 'this offer has expired, try another offer'!!! Really! So I sent a detailed email to CS stating my disappointment of their shady scam-offer, and at this point, it wasn't about the pizza anymore, it was about the lack of business ethics and integrity and the crappy customer service. They sent me a 'sorry' email back stating the terms of the offer. I replied to that email stating "show me in any advertisement or email that the terms were stated, or even insinuated, including the expiration date?" I also pointed out that they were still being shady and I wanted contact information (ph & email) for corporate. A week later they sent me another 'sorry' email and a code for a free pizza. F*@# their free pizza, I don't want to do ANY business w/any company I can't trust. Now I am contacting corporate, and considering getting an attorney to file a class action lawsuit. If I had to jump through all these hoops to get them to fulfill the terms of their offer, then I know there are hundreds, if not thousands of people, who don't have the time or persistence to MAKE papa john's fulfill their end of the bargain. That's ALOT of money that was hustled from hard-working people struggling in this hard economy. Wow! Too much drama!
I called the local Papa John's in Marina Del Rey, Ca. When placing the order I asked for a large 1/2 cheese and 1/2 BBQ Chicken pizza. I was told that it was against the policy to have 1/2 tomato sauce and 1/2 bbq sauce on the pizza. I've never heard that one before. I mentioned that the advertisements say my choice of topping. He informed me that sauce was not a topping REALLY! The pizza arrived with all bbq sauce and 1/2 cheese and 1/2 chicken. They also sent the wrong soda. I called the store and spoke to the manager GEORGE VARGAS. Good old George told me that in the future I should order my pizza from another franchise like Dominos. In the future I will no longer do business with Papa Johns. The management does not stand behind their product. They are rude and uncaring. I will be calling the corporate office on Monday morning to follow up.
So Papa Johns is wading into politics, they hate Obama blah blah blah. OK, fine, the business has the right to speak their mind, but they just lost my business forever. When will businesses learn, just stay out of politics?
I seem to not know where to begin...I am not an employee for papa johns, i cant say im lucky, because the one that is lucky is the manager Juan at papa johns in fontana, ca. On foothill blvd.. as a customer, we all enjoy good food, and papa johns is one who "for me" can deliever..but we also enjoy a establishment that conduct them selves as professionals, but the problem was not with the employees it was with the store manager.. his name is juan, it made no differences to him who, or how many people where in his business, and from my understanding, he conducts himselve in that manner daily, i cant understand why he would choses a job that he clearly does not enjoy, and is not educated in how to speak to employees and customers. I'm not saying all this for personal gain, which i can say it will not replace the images of embarressed employess not to mention on new hire today quit because manager juan was so rudely making jokes at his expense about his broken english..he also had threaten another employee with not give him a paycheck due to not being trained to manage the computer oders.. can you please tell us this isnt the way and the reputation you want for your company because we matter we are also the income allowing you to continue opening those door and opening new chains...but if you cant seem to properly assess the back ground and there exsperience your management has, not only will you stop accummulating high numbers but you will beging to lose cliants that orders pizza loyally...please look into my claim, i sat in your foothill boulvard chain store in fontana, CA., just to make sure he (Juan) would ease up...all i know is that employees there are scared of him, his mouth, his threats, and his not so respectful mouth that is filled with discrimination, ...thank you for this oppertunity to share what i had to witness because the store manager thinks he is above all do to his work status (manager)....sad real sad thanks again
I am in Egypt and I am writing a complaint about one of your branches in El Sheikh Zayed Giza-Cairo . Please, pay attention to your business over seas, keep a closed eye on your franchise. Those people serve us yesterday 17 August 2012 the worst pizza we ever, ever eat from you. My husband and I we ended it in emergency room last night from FOOD POiSON FROM YOUR PIZZA. I am from Loisville Ky and I love your quality of your product , but oh my...those people try to kill americans who do not observe Ramadan in their country and try to eat anything before Iftar. I swear if will not be to liquidate my business ...I will not be here. PLEASE, HELP SO THEY WILL NOT KILL MORE PEOPLE. Thank you for your concern.
To Ray IDEC NJ. You can certainly spend your money where you choose. You can also react with emotion to things that are wrong in society. I just wanted to provide this information...PapaJohns allows franchisees the right to provide health care for their full time employees through their health care program. I believe the ACA will impact many franchisees and their employees. Many franchisees provide the opportunity to have health insurance to their full time employees and have multiple stores and so they may hit the minimum threshold of total employees. The cost to all small business is greater than most people think. The cost of ACA will be (if Massachusetts is any indication) about triple what people think. There are many good solutions to health care costs and coverage that should be addressed, but the ACA is not the way to do it. For years we have had credit unions...we should have health care unions...each community could create programs that citizens could sign up for...locally managed and locally responsible. Small business and residents could sign up for a minimal fee. Businesses as small as 300 employees can get decent insurance now...what if the risk pool is 5000 or 10000 residents? Additionally, we should cap lawsuits and use outcome based decision making. The average patient with an angioplasty ends up with a bypass surgery in 5-10 years. The more cost effective route may be to skip angioplasty and go straight to bypass thus saving tens of thousands of dollars. Additionally it is estimated that medicare and medicaid suffer from $20-60 billion in fraud. This is a horrendous waste and steals resources from those that are truly in need. Sorry for the long rant...just sharing ideas.
I love Papa Johns... in Grand Prairie, Texas. The location at 1625 Beltline Road is top notch both in their service and products. The store is very clean & very pleasant to pick up orders. We are very grateful that they are a part of our community. I know of several people that have their applications in... they are grateful for the opportunity of employment. Thank you Papa Johns... Grandmother of a large family and we ALL order Papa Johns

I wouldn't even give this company 1 star. If I could have chosen 0 I would have. I used to be a shift manager for a store in TenlyTown DC. My boyfriend Marco was the GM. I'm so deeply upset and blown away with how poorly this company treats they're employee's. They want you to work your butt off and pay you nothing. My boyfriend practically lived in that store. When he got it, it was a complete mess this store was really dirty and needed pretty much everything fixed. So he would sleep there to get everything done and always did a very good job. He worked 20 hour days and that still wasn't good enough. After scoring a 10 on his pizza and a 98 on his store evaluation the very next day he gets fired???. I myself busted my butt the day of the evaluation to make sure the store got a good score, and worked 12 hours that day, that Todd Kelley decided he didn't want to pay me for. I want my money that I earned!!. I worked for it, and I deserve it! I really would like someone to contact me about this. Todd Kelley is probably one of the most unprofessional people I've ever worked with. All he cares about is making his money and wants you to kill yourself to make it for him. I find it extremely sad the way that this company treats its workers. Especially good workers that did amazing work for this company. My E-mail is BrandyL124@hotmail.com. I really hope that someone in this company is professional enough to contact me and pay me for the hours I worked.
First of all, I'm sorry there is no button for zero stars. After the big Chick-Fil-A flap, just exactly how ignorant must a CEO be to open his mouth and politicize pizza? And all to deny health care to the needy? You whine about 14 cents, how much did your company give to Romney? Well, not one cent of my money, or any of my friends, will ever go to your lousy pizza joint again! WE support our President, and WE do not let our fellow humans suffer over 14 cents!
Your health care comments have just lost another frequent customer forever.
I ordered using the app on my phone. I went to pick it up and it wasnt ready. Apparently they had a 22 pizza order that they walked into. The girls there did an EXCELLENT JOB!!! These girls need much praise for the Great job. Wabash, Indiana
Liar! Guess he needs someone to pay for all his Botox!
The Papa John's location in Newark, Delaware, store number 1319 has terrible employees. They always feel the need to charge debit cards more than once. This has happened to me and people I know on numerous occasions. The customer service is the worst I've seen in ages.
