While the service we received at your location near Mall of Georgia was not bad, I did not appreciate the foul mouth of one of your servers. My plan was to ignore it, but the 5 year old of the friend I was with just repeated the phrase she heard last night. "F'ing B*tch" is not something this child hears at home. Thank the Lord, this little girl was in the restroom when this same server mentioned the KKK to another customer (I think this was an off duty employee). Melinda, Melody or Melissa (we did not get a good look at her name tag) should be fired in our opinion!
After a long exhausting flight back to Seattle, my family took me to Macaroni Grill and after we got done eating, my daughter went to pour my 2 year old grandaughters cranberry juice into her sippy cup and there was a fly floating in the top of the cup! The manager didn't seem to care and said she could only take off the juice from our bill! We will NEVER eat there again!
My husband and I went to Macaroni Grill last night and were very disappointed. I called the manager awhile ago to complain and he was so RUDE and said it was MY fault I didn't get many veggies. He said I picked too many....HUH? I couldn't tell there were any on my pasta. This was on Memorial in Tulsa...RUDE MANAGER!!
Wilimington, NC had horriable service by the time we got our food my fries were cold. Such a shame..nice set up but it felt so cold. It seems from reading our comments Macaroni Grill lacks BIG time in customer service.
My Family and I ate at the Macaroni Grill in Louisville, Kentucky and the service was outstanding and the food was wonderful. Our service was very good and she made us feel like we were the only ones there. She was very personble and you could tell she really liked her job. Our server name was Kelly not sure of the last name. She was also training a new person and what care and understanding she took with that person. I just wanted someone to know the good things because we really love eating there. Thank you for having such great a place. Have a wonderful day!
My family went to Macaroni Grill in Tulsa,Oklahoma on Dec. 31, 2011 for lunch. I have never been treated so ugly in all of my life. The waitress told us to get out of her way and I decided not to call the day that the incident occurred since the phone was ignored. I proceeded to call the manager on Jan 4, 2012 and explained the incident and she informed me that they were going to have a manager's meeting and she would find out what was the problem if they were understaffed due to people being ill. The longer I tried to explain to her why I was so unhappy the more nasty she became to me. I finally tried to explain to her that I only called to give her the information so that she would be able to correct the incident and that is when she practically called me a liar. I will never eat at this establishment again. I don't appreciate being treated this way and since I've seen all of these commits on this website I doubt you will do anything to correct this. I really hate this was my favorite place to eat.
went to the store on bruce b downs blvd the food was cold, had mold on tomatoes noticed service was very poor the resturant was empty and we still got bad service no wonder no one was there. macaroni grill used to be so good i will never return to this resturant.roaches on the table unbelievable.
Tonight is our anniversary and we just came home from a disappointing evening at the Macaroni Grill in Aliso Viejo, Ca. We have been eating there for many years and have always enjoyed the food and service. We called for reservations and stated that it was our anniversary. From the beginning, our waiter was clearly very busy. It took more than 10 minutes to have bread served.I had to ask the busboy for balsamic vinegar, and a few minutes later it was taken away by another server. I felt like I was in Denny's sharing a communal bottle of ketchup. The food arrived by someone other than our waiter. He never appeared to bring freshly grated cheese or to check on the meal. My husband's pasta dish was dry and we had to ask another server for additional sauce. When it was time for dessert, it was clear that the waiter did not know it was our anniversary. When I mentioned it, he stated that they don't acknowledge it unless we are a member of your email club. So much for our special evening out. There are many dinning choices in Southern Orange County , Ca. I would not choose Macaroni Grill again for a special occasion. It just felt like any week-end night at Denny's.
My wife ane I frequently eat at The Macaroni Grill in Alisa Viejo, Ca. Angela and Julie do an excellent job in running that operation. The staff is very polite, The food is excellent and reasonable in price. The various promotions that we receive via email help us out greatly. Keep up the good work guys.
I am sorry to say that the Macaroni Grill in Pembroke Pines does not even deserve a 1 star. The waitress was really good and attentive however, was always in a rush when another table called (mind you it was not even a rushed time). Nevertheless the service was ok. I ordered the Mama's trio and was extremely disappointed. The food was try, the pasta was hard and it tasted as if it was either leftovers or as if it had been in the freezer for sometime. I did not feel like the price I paid was worth having a lean cuisine dinner. When the waitress asked how everything was, I told her but of course, the horrible food had nothing to do with her service. She told me that she would get a manager. The manager walked passed our table maybe 3-4 times and never even approached us. The chef approached and while very nice, I was disappointed that the general manager, who supposedly is the face of the restaurant did not even have the decency to apologize. Having worked in management myself, customer service is key and it is obvious that the manager had no skills whatsoever to feel that I would criticize when in fact, I was just stating my feelings. P.S. I got sick immediately after the dinner and lets just say that this place will definitely be avoided in the future.
Interesting my complaint has not yet made it to your board. Are you people trying to hide something?? Tara in Washington
*MACARONI CHILL* is what the restaurant in Lynnwood, WA should be called. We first arrived and everyone including my husband who is NEVER cold had goosebumps. It was literally blasting cold with AC and we were so miserable it was difficult to eat. My 2 year old daughter who has an internal furnace kept asking for her blankie and my mom had to go back to her car to get another sweater. The wait staff kept telling us they were going to "figure out how to turn down the AC." But it never happened. The manager even came over to us to let us know he was new and has not "figured out the system yet." We asked the waitress if other people complain and she told us "yes, all the time." Then she said "you should be here in the winter time, it's even colder." Well duh, if it has been this cold since the winter then maybe they should have figured it out by now! Note to the owners of the Lynnwood WA Macaroni Chill TURN DOWN THE AIR CONDITIONING!!! The food was really good but we didn't want to stay for dessert because we were too cold. I also ordered the bellini but the manager told me they didn't have the recipe. Huh??
August 3rd,2011 Dear Sirs,Maam; It is with concern, that I am e-mailing and posting this message to your comments site, as i read ALL of the negative customer complaints I begin to feel as though I have joined unwittingly a exclusive " mac grill poor service club" , but I can take this one step further, never have i been publicly ,verbally, emotionally and mentally abused before by a "supposed professional head mgr" being an abuse survivor I recognize the tactics and character of an abusive personality " I was so intimidated and pity this man's staff and co-workers, if this is how he conducts himself on a regular basis, @ the strongsville, ohio restaurant store near southpark westfield mall on rt 82,our experience was extremely disheartening and teeters on the edge of a legal impropriatey at best. At 9:15 pm we walked into the restaurant ( they close @ 10pm) we were greeted "not personally" but w/ negative stares from staff and rolling of eyes that we must have imposed on them because obviously they were trying to be incognito due to the fact ALL fo the parking lot lights were off at 9:13pm this is a direct avoidance to attract customers and close earlier or avoid work as well as profits. Our server Brandon seemed less enthused to help or assist, we waited at the door for more than 5-7 minutes to be seated "hoping we'd leave, I surmise" , then at the point they did finally ask for our drink order, "they had no flavored teas or lemonades " and had little suggestions to offer, next our order of food was wrong "at least one of us, i prompted the managers assistance , HE proceeded to VERBALLY, LOUDLY AND DISRUPTEDLY YELL AT US STATING " EVERYTIME YOU PEOPLE COME IN HERE YOU HAVE A COMPLAINT" (WELL AT LEAST HE RECOGNISED HIS POOR SKILLS AS MGMT.) Needless to say it was humiliating, disrespectful, discurtious, but w/o a doubt verbally abusive. My boyfriend stood up and suggested we leave, the mgr said we didnt need to come back unless we would be satisfied w/our experience, my boyfriends food was deliberately made too hot who ever heard of hot italian red pepper in pesto NOT me, he the mgr. defiantly approached at lightening us and called us liars when I pointed out to him the red peppers flakes in the pasta and said "I dont have my glasses I cant see it and we dont make pesto w/them and the kitchen is closed so we can't remake your food, well obviously someone made a mistake, which I understand but, we left hungry and upset. As well, the wine I ordered had the tasted of vinegar " indication of temp changed and improper storage and age. I do not recomend this destination of Macaroni Grill to anyone. There were others seated in the restaurant as well, 6-8 customers and they heard it all. So the impression to other patrons were negative as well how the mgr runs his ship. It is a pity because previously to the past visits other than 1 other time, our experience was pleasant,Dave a past wait staff there was wonderful and cared about his customers, As well as the kitchen mgr at this location truly is an example of professionalism and care of his patrons and company because from 1 other poor experience he made it right which in turn attracted us and our family and friends and co-wkers back to this location, this store mgr un did ALL good the previous kitchen mgr achieved "sabotaging the other managers accomplishment".
I always go to the Macaroni Grill in Colonie NY (it's right near my job) I want to say at least 3x a week for lunch, the service is excellent and my food is always great. There is always 1 cook working when I come, his name is JD, he's a hard worker and he always makes my food perfect. I just feel so bad when I see he is the only line cook. All in all he does GREAT with or without the help he deserves a raise :).
On I july 2011, my wife and I ate at the Macaroni Grill in Augusta, Ga. While waiting for a table, I noticed a sign that stated house wine was $4 a glass during happy hour in the bar and patio. We had read on their site that the wine was $3 a glass. I went to the bar and ordered two glasses of house wine and was charged $4 after telling the bartender that it should be $3. He refused to ask the manager about it. We then ordered a salmon and snapper dinners and waited one hour to be served. It was obvious that there not enough help as many tables were empty but loaded with dirty dishes. I asked for the manager and Dan Michener came decked-out with an apron on. I told him about the wine incident and he said he would go online to check it out and call Corporate. He did neither as he worked as a waiter. After finishing our meal and spending almost two hours in the restaurant, a Ginger Fleegal Fulk came to our table and said she was also a manager. I told her that we were regulars and of the poor service and problem in the bar. She took $5 off our bill and acted very professionally. We also noted that one of the four "cooks" had braided hair down to his shoulders and the others had long hair well below the white caps they were wearing. It was not a pleasant dining experience.
I am sitting in your Harrisburg restaurant right now, we ordered an appetizer, salad, and an entree1/2 hour ago, and since then we haven't get anything. Not even the wItress
I have worked for Macaroni Grille for 5 years. We recently lost our building to fire and the company treated us very well. They really seemed concerned about our families and our well being. My Macaroni Grille store has and always will have Wonderful service, wonderful food, friendly staff. and wonderful atmosphere. I am sorry for those of you that had a bad experience. Every restaraunt has bad nights. Please don't judge all of our stores because of your bad experience. My store is reopening in the fall and if you ever reach Ohio visit the Montrose store. I feel blessed to be a part of the Macaroni Grille family.
My husband and I went to Macaroni Grill in Fort Myers Florida today to celebrate my birthday. The service was so poor that we had to frequently leave our seat to ask other waiters for service. This went on all through the meal. Our waitress was also the bar tender which was outrageous. I know that times are hard but to put a waitress at two positions that require continual service should not be. As you may realize my birthday celebration caused tension and so the meal was not enjoyed. We left the restaurant dissatisfied and angry.
I will never eat at the Gainesville establishment again. Last night was the most awful experience and the food was horrid. I couldn't even get a dessert, because you were out of both espresso AND panna cotta!! REALLY?!? In short, YOUR RESTAURANT SUCKS.
Febuary 26th, 2012 To whom this may concern: I am a former employee of Ramano's Macaroni Grill of the Buford location in north Georgia who proudly served it's guests for nearly half a decade. As a tenered serevr and bartender, I have recieved recognition for my hard work through being employee of the month twice and rewarded my position as a bartender under my previous general manager. I have always been a very hard working indvidual and, until recently, have always carried much respect for this company. Most of my fellow co-workers, have told me it has been a pleasure working with me, that they also believe my termination was unfair and that I will be missed. Recently,(Thursday, the 24th of Febuary) I was terminated for unfair, uninvestigated reasons. For the past several weeks, I had been harassed by one member of the stores current managment and another former employee and close friend of hers. Unfortunately this was ignored by both the stores general manager and a member of managment directly underneath her and resulted in my recent termination. Despite my hurt feelings and state of unfair unemployment, I had decided to leave willingly, sign whatever forms nessicarly for my termination and move on with my life peacefully. This has proved to be an impossible feet. I was terminated over two days ago and the harassment from your current staff continues. I am fed up with the unprofessional conduct of thses people and the inaction of this company and its managment. Harassment should not be tollerated and ALWAYS looked at as a serious matter. The day of my termination, my entire family erupted with dismay and had encouraged me to consider legal action. I explained to them that I wanted no trouble or part of your company any longer because of the fond memories and number of excellent experiences I'd had there. My feelings have changed. At aproximately 7:30 p.m., I was trying my best to forget about this terrbible situation and enjoy my trip to Florida to watch my fiance, USMC Lance Corp. Lambert, be promoted. Unfortunately, we continued to be inturpted by harassing text messages from your "customer" and former employee, for whom I was terminated for speaking "disrespectfully" to. These text messages had continued until aproximately 2:00 a.m. This is rediculous, innapropriate and very troubling for myself. The messages have been rude and, more importantly, threatening. I have been taunted, harassed and threatend for the last time. My familys attorney has advised me to file a police report which will be done as soon as I arrive home, in Georgia tomorrow. She has informed me that she will then send you a copy of the report along with my at&t phone records, proving my allegations and a copy of my termination form which has me listed as "Morgan", yet another apparent sign of the ignorance of your managment. I did not wish to take this matter as far as it obviously needs to be taken, but I am NOT OKAY with continuing to be harassed and threatened. If a proper investigation had been opened, perhaps thses actions would not be taken. Unfortunately, the laziness of the companys managment led to them making an incorrect decission that only I will pay for. I was a very valuble employee for almost 5 years with many regulars (whom have contacted me) at this location. Loosing my job broke my heart, but I accepted it as something that I could look past and move on. However, again, i will NOT entertain the idea of continuing to be harassed even after my termination. I HAVE BEEN THROUGH ENOUGH. Please feel free to contact my attorney whos information will be faxed to your headquaters soon. Thank you for your concern. Sincerly, M.J. Mailhot
