Very bad service
The food was good, but unfortunately the service was horrible....... and the manager took no responsibility to the poor service complaint I will not return there again. This was in Ventura CA
Try Again!!!!!!!!!
Macaroni Grill was bought out by a wonderful company that is putting the customers first which is how it's supposed to be. unfortunatly from the previous owners they were running the place into the ground and didn't care about the people only the buck. this new company is doing everything in their power to try and turn this company back around and make it what it used to be and what the customers used to love. give them a 2nd chance and see if they can change your 1 star ratings to a 4 or 5 star instead.
Poor professional people
Just to let u know guys employes from Westminster in colorado location last night with a manager they went to drink to a local restaurant and they introduce a bottle of alcohol and they try to drink it inside in this restaurant they got at most kick out, u guys sure let this people know the restaurant rules about alcohol specialty to urs managers!!! dog gone !!!
Ate at the 2001 N Rainbow Blvd Las Vegas, NV 89108 location last week...food was ok, but I noticed that a women had a small dog at her table and was hand feeding it off of her plate. I wonder if the board of health would approve ?....because I didn't. If I want to eat with a bunch of dogs, I'll go to the dog pound...not Macaroni Grill
Employee harrassment
I was in the Strongville, Oh Macaroni Grill last night with my wife. We sat at a table in the bar area. What we observed was very horrible to say the least. Two ladies (oops girls, they could not be classified as ladies) at the hostess stand were telling the singer how ugly she was dressed and how bad she looked and they were talking about other employees too. The girls would not let up on the young lady who by the way was dressed very nice. What makes it worse there was two guys at the hostess stand too and they were putting in their two cents worth. We later found out they were the managers for the evening. Needless to say these so called fellow employees and management brought the young lady to tears and she was in the ladies room crying. She went to work to sing and bring enjoyment to us but instead gets harassed. My wife said how can we ever eat here again if such behavior is tolerated and seems to be even encouraged. Unfortunately 1 star is the least I can give them. The food and our service was very good but I think such treatment of employees is not tolerable. I guess to Macaroni Grill it is. Is replacing older and efficient hostesses with the young and pretty the way to go. Doesnt seem like it. Then again I guess the managers like it. Maybe added benefits for them. I hope you get with the times Macaroni Grill and treat your young ladies right. Until you do you wont have my business anymore.
Don't waste your money!!!
This Romano's Macaroni Grill, 700 W Hwy 114 N access Rd in Grapevine, TX was the worst restaurant food (if you would call it that) I've ever eaten. I had Lobster Ravioli and it was so bad I couldn't eat but one. The bits of lobster tasted old. My husband has Alfredo Pasta w/chicken. It was dry and also terrible. We had a very large party of people for a graduation dinner. Everyone around us was also dissatisfied with the food. I will say our waiter was great. The service was great, just not the food! I will not return!
Horrendous
I took me and my mother out to eat after and amazing day of shopping just to end up killing the whole day. To start off my mom's wine was served in a regular cup instead of a wine glass. Are you kidding me?? Is she drinking grape juice? Then when we got her dish, her shrimp was RAW. Needless to say she lost her appetite. Then to top it all off, as she was finishing her water we noticed there was crud at the bottom of the cup. Just wow. We let our waiter know and he informed his manager, but at no time did the manager approach us directly about our experience. Just completely TERRIBLE. It was the first and last time I will eat here.
Terrible service and value for food
I am surprised in the change I experienced in both the quality of food and service that I received at the Ala Moana Macaroni Grill location. The food matched the waiters service in the lack of it. Limp meager chicken, oily dishes with almost no toppings on their happy hour pizza's. I would categorize this dining experience as "eww...yuck". Save your dollars, I'd like mine back please.
Dam
My wife and I went to the MG in Henderson NV. a month ago and left rather disappointed. My wIfe ordered a soup and sand. and I ordered chicken scaloppine, my wife's lunch came out first with cold soup, we sent it back, when the soup returned the bowl was so hot that it burned my wife's hand. My lunch followed 10 min later and cold also, after I asked for the manger and explained to him what happeden his response was simply OK and Thx, our bill came one min later and not a moment of service after. We were told about the service at MG and we thought that we would try anyway because they have always been one of our favorite restaurants, ording there food for many of our party's. We will never return!!!
Bad overall
Food sucks, sauce tasted burnt, artichoke appitizers were so full of garlic you could not eat them. Kitchen staff not working together. Apps came with the main course. Romano's use to be so good , then they changed. Menu's , food, Will not go back, ever!
HORRIBLE
I am a former employee who was recently unjustly terminated. It saddens me to see a page with NOTHING but 1 star reviews. You have the potential of a 5 star page,I know because I started 4 years ago when it was. At the same time I feel relieved. I am a server who takes great pride in my work so I will spend my time at a restaurant I can be proud of. NO MORE 1 STAR STATUS!!!!!!
Dinner at Pembroke Pines location in BJ shopping Plaza
My friends and I total 6 went to the Macaroni Grill on Pines Blvd in Pembroke Pines. This was our first visit. We were also celabrating our friends 70 birthday. The food was good but the server we had needed an attitute adjustment. We girls go out ever Wednesday for a girls night out. We r women all over 65. We usually enjoy out evening out. I have never been treated so bad by any waitress. The words said by her ad the way she spoke to us was terrible, disrespectable and just rude. We spoke to the manger but he seemed young and didn't know how to handle the situtation. This was the first time in my life that I never left a tip for the server. as a matter of fact none of us left a tip. We will never go back there because of the way we were treated.
Great manager
My friends and I would like to praise the manager, Harry, at the location in Oxford Valley, Langhorne, PA. We just had some minor concerns and he couldn't have been more helpful and friendly solving everything to our satisfaction. We will return to this restaurant specifically because of Harry and his great management skills.
I had the WORST experience I have ever had at a restaurant last night at the macaroni grill in louisville, KY. When we first got there, no one came to wait on us or get our drink orders for at least 10 minutes. There was 4 of us. Our waitress finally came, she was very nice and did a good job and I do not think any of this was her fault but the management must be horrible. We ordered our food. It took 1 whole hour for our food to even come. Several other families came in, ate, and left before we even got our food. We didn't get refills for half of the time. When our food FINALLY came, I wasn't even hungry! The pasta I ordered usually comes with angel hair, shrimp, spinach, pine nuts, and mushrooms. The spinach and pine nuts were not in the pasta. When I asked my waitress, she said spinach was on recall. Which I understand, I work in the restaurant industry, but that is something they should have told us prior to ordering. Not really sure why they decided not to put pine nuts. I noticed the table next to us frusterated as well about the service and food quality. They did take one of the pastas off of our bill but the manager never even came over to apologize. We shouldn't have had to pay one cent for the service we received and the food quality. My dad also ordered the same thing as me and it also didn't have pine nuts or spinach. they charged us for his. My fiance's pasta dish was hard and nasty by the time the food got to us. I will never go back to Macaroni Grill which is a shame because it use to be really good. I think it is going downhill.
We already enjoy eating at Macaroni Grill at your Germantown Pky. location in Memphis, TN. The food is always good. I think we would visit more often if prices would be a bit lower.
We went at 4pm and the place was half empty. We were told it would be a ten to fifteen minute wait. we asked why and were told that there were no buss boys to clean the tables. We finally got seated. We counted sixteen people walk out after speaking to the hostess while the place was still half empty. We said something to the waiter and he told us that his hands were tied and that corporate will not hire additional employees. What a way to run a business. By the way my wifes food was cold and mine was ok. We will never go back.
BIRMINGHAM, AL / Highway 280 at the SUMMIT. I paid $126. and could have gotten better food and service at Taco Bell. My family and I watched six tables get up and leave. They had been waiting to be served for an hour before we waited 45 minutes to get our cold food and rotten shrimp. We complained to the Manager, who was a lady that was zoned out -- I looked to see if her spaceship was parked outside. My wife told her about the horrific food and service and the Manager said absolutely NOTHING! Not a word....Just a glazed over stare. One of the waiters said they had several cooks walk out the night before and did not come beck in tonight. Don't worry, won't be back either. We left feeling like we'd been had!! NEVER Again -- I'd rather eat at Taco Bell.
My wife and I have enjoyed your Macaroni Grill, 1515 S. Univesrity Dr, For Worth location for many years. We ordered Parmesan Crusted Chicken salad and & a chicken & arugala Flatbread pzza to share today at about 11:30 AM. The service was very slow but there were hardly any poeple in the restuarant. After about 35 minutes, the server brought out cold pizza and said they were having trouble with the fryer for the chicken salad. So we changed it to grilled chicken. After we were about finished with the pizza, the server brought the salad swimming in dressing. We couldn't eat it. The server informed the manager and the manager came over and offered to give us a new salad to go which we didn't have time for and we were going to be out most of the rest of the day and we had no way to store it anyway. When we turned it down, he offered us free deseart which we didn't want either. The manager didn't offer to deduct the salad but he did say he could tell it was improperly prepared. So we reluctantly paid the bill for the food we could not eat anyway and left unhappy. It was like if we didn't want more food the manager couldn't help us. Just a heads up, both the server and the manager handled them selves poorly but particularly the manager. As a business owner, I know how important customer feed back can be. Normally, I would just let this go but this location has seriuous problems. We could see that we were not the only ones having problems at this particulary time.
I used to enjoy Macaroni Grill...as you can hardly go wrong with pasta unless you start trying to add too much to it. My problem is not with the food at all, although it can sometimes be bland. However, my guest revealed that he would not return after our meal last night as his lasagna tasted like a canned "Beefaroni" like meat. He let several of us taste it at our own risk and we all agreed. So, it is not that Beefaroni is bad, it is just about a dollar a can vs the price charged at a once nice restaurant. My problem is the servers lately. Last time I ordered a specialty drink (non alcoholic) with the ginger, nectar, cream,...it didn't taste like usual. I told the server, she took it, rather rudely, and came back...told me to taste it. I said it was better, but not the same. She walked away. I took my drink to the bartender and he informed me they were out of the nectar, had been all day..the server brought it back and put honey in it, and he tried to explain there had been no complaints all day. Well, since I had ordered this everytime I ate there, I could taste the difference and told him it was an obvious difference. He told me, no one else said so. I had him fix me something else. When I took my drink back to the table I was given a sort of snide remark from the server about, did you get a different drink? Well, yes, I did but no thanks to her. She was just not personable at all about it, no apologies, just a simple "try to pull the wool over the customers eyes" to not be bothered attitude. I let that one go...chalked it up as a bad vibe. Last night, there was an incident that tells me, there is more of this going on than just a coincidence. Some of the guest ordered appetizers. Our server was very nice, however, he is not the one that brought out the appetizers and one of them brought out by a runner was the wrong one. This was di
This website is a joke! After reading these comments, I'm convinced that most of the people that post haven't made it passed the third grade! If you all were really treated as poorly as you write, perhaps the actual store website would be of service. I usually never have a bad experience at Macaroni Grill and the one time I did, management promptly took care of it and followed up to ensure we'd return!
