Lowe's Companies Corporate Office & Headquarters

I am a Lowes Independent Contractor and have to tell you that there corporate office is horrible to deal with and they cover all there store managers as well as the district people who are frauds!! They have alot of shady people working for them!! To many people getting there pockets greased and hurting good men and affecting there familys!! Very sad they don't investigate there own people and turn a blind eye to it!!

I think the only thing good Lowe's is still good at is taking a little problem and making it a big problem. Purchased a two stroke trimmer about three days before Christmas. Used it first right before the first of the year. Hard to start, hard to keep running, would not idle. I should have taken it back then but thought incorrectly that it would improve as I ran it. Next tried to use it this am. Would not start. Pops every once in 10/15 pulls but no luck. I took the instructions and thought I would take it back and purchase a 4 stroke which is a much more reliable motor. I was informed that I would have to call a 1 800 to find out where to send it cause I had had it 30 days. Ok shame on me. I just may have the last laugh yet. I got angry and left the store and called another Lowe's store and ask a associate that I had been working with to buy a kitchen from if that was the policy in her store ( a different store}. She explained it was and that I should have been offered some type of extended warranty at the time of purchase. If I did not purchase the warranty and had it over 30 days then I was out of luck I would have to take it somewhere to have it fixed under manufacturers warranty. She said Lowe's did that so they could up sell the lucrative extended warranty. I told her that did not seem to be to friendly as far as customer service and I felt like ordering my kitchen cabinets and appliances somewhere else,in case I may have a little problem that may need some customer service but I did not want to take it out on her because she had so much time invested in meeting with my wife and I. She said that in the last month they had quit paying her commission on custom work so it would be of no benefit to her if I ordered or not. She says she is going to leave her job at Lowes and let someone who does not know what they are doing try it out. I ask her if that would be the someone who would be helping my wife and I after we closed on the house we are buying. She said maybe maybe not. Well for about the price of a 69.00 trimmer that does not run well I learned all about this company that was about to sell me a kitchen plus install and some appliances. I learned that they just give corporate lip service to good customer service and reward talented sales staff with a company policy change that makes a employee earn approx 4.75 a hour less. This is a lady with a family who has worked retail hours for years. I got off cheap!I guess we are going to little box store. Sometimes price does not matter, service does. Now let me say this before I quit venting. The lady at returns today was at least civil. She did not offer any alternatives, like talking to a manager, or assisting me in finding out where to take this, but she did start my journey to a better place.

My husband went to Lowe's last week to buy a storage shed.Thye didn't have the one he wanted in stock so they said he could buy the display model,which he did.Went back 3 days later to pick it up (said they couldn't help him load it since it was a display so he had 3 friends drive there to help him....mind you,they did not live in that area and drove about 45 min.to get there.After getting there he was told by the store manager that he could not buy the display and had to refund his money.The guys wanted reimbursed for their gas to get there and they would not do it.They just lost several customers!!

Get ready for the down fall,Lowes no longer supports there employees, they have taken there incentives away.(no more commissions)!! Hi and Welcome to Lowes Depot.Think you have complaints now.!!!! I guess niblock needs a bigger vacation home.hmmmm he didn't cut his bonus.

I am disappointed that you felt that you should bow to the misguided and bigoted opinion of a pseudo-christian group because you were sponsoring a tv show about American citizens of muslin descent in my home state of Michigan. You are cowards. I like my local Lowe's in my home town but I guess its back to Home Depot for me. Caving to these "righteous bullies" is not American. Its time to enter the 21st century.

By the way Lowe's doesn't celebrate christmas either...... there bunch of lowe lifes.... lol. Firing long time employees to save cost...... hiring people for less money who don't know sh#t ..... I was loyal for 14 yrs an was let go after my workers comp claim was close do to "attendance" violation. Its their we injured you we fixed you polices in full affect. Im still not 100% I hurt everday.

Congrats on pulling the ad. All these people complaining about that have nothing better to do i guess. Remember this is American, land of the free, before long we won't have any more Americans from all the other races coming over here. Hey let's learn spanish so we can xommunicate. not. How about Mexicans learn our language because their in our country or go back to where they came from. If I went to Mexico and didn't know Spanish they would laugh at me and say go home. We need to stand up for our race, go lowes, go Americans

I could not submit my application for employment.My veterans represenative contacted Christie at the Mountain Home store about the problem.She told my rep.that she could not download my information;when I was able to get through in the system,it said that there are no jobs available at this time.I do not think that this is fair at all.

RE: Extended Protection Plan. Bought 4 year plan for Samsung washer/dryer in Nov. 06. Control board just failed (Jan 12). Lowe's EPP says coverage starts AFTER the company's parts and labor coverage expires. Samsung warranty book says 1 year for general parts and labor but 2 years for control board. Called Lowe's EPP--NO they say. We only cover from end of year one because Samsung warranty is only 1 year. FORGET that I am looking at the Samsung book that says 2 years for the control board. The EPP woman AND her supervisor Chrissy argue and refuse to even consider that their computer might be wrong. So watch out Corporate--you're getting letters from me!!

I bought my Whirlpool washer/dryer set from Lowes in March 2010. It malfunctioned last week. Not only did I have to fight with 2 seperate service companies to get a technician to come out and look at the washer. The store manager had to call the second service company to get me scheduled. The service technician came out to our house today and told my husband that the rubber gasket ripped on the inside of the door. The service company then leaves me a voicemail saying that it is not due to normal wear&tear and they are not covering the part. Ive never mistreated my washer or dryer. I paid $3,600.00 out the door for the set. When I called the store manager and told him the situation the most he could say was he cant get involved and hes sorry. Im already buying my next appliance(dishwasher) and its not from LOWE'S! Never again will I buy something from LOWE'S!

The United States of America was founded on the freedom of religion, among other things. It seems a shame that Lowe's corporation would bow to some Christian religious extremist. Maybe you should start flying a Confederate flag in front of all your stores. Just as I start to believe humans are beginning to evolve, something like this happens and shows me that there are still many ignorant and bigoted people in this country. I thought we were supposed to be an example for the rest of the world. (By the way, I am a Christian. This isn't what Jesus taught.) I will no longer be doing personal or corporate business with Lowe's.

I am deeply disappointed in your decision in pulling your ad from "All American Muslim" show. I will no longer shop at Lowes because I will not shop at a place that condones bigotry and racism. American muslims are Americans and are an integral part of this country! They are doctors, lawyers, nurses, etc. like many Amercians contributing to this society.

To Lowes, I used to be a customer, but I wanted to assure you not anymore, your decesion to drop out form supporting the program is wrong since that will encourage radicals and racist in this united country to divide. If we keep listining to odd and ugly voices in this country we will loose our unity and will see ourselves back 200 years ago where Americans will kill each other based on their level of ignorance. Islam is a religion and it is embraced by wide varity of the socity, white, black, asian, and middle eastern. Its known at least for me who is benefeting from dividing our socity and I hope from all educated Americans to stand united and refuse the wrong doing of Lowes. God Bless

I find your decision to pull advertising from the program "All American Muslim" to be offensive and racist. You have bowed to hystrionics from a group whose motives are to instill fear and hatred to our diverse American population based upon religious beliefs. If you had actually researched Muslim beliefs, you would know they are, overall, a peace loving people. You have become part of the problem with this country's newfound hate of an entire people and are feeding such bigoted espousements of ignorance they hide behind. I was a faithful customer, however I will now boycott your company and I have the support of many people who, in the past, have supported your stores with their business. Your position is a slap in the face to the founding principals of this nation. You should be absolutely ashamed. Educate yourselves on these peoples true religious beliefs and the founding of this country instead of giving in to fear mongers. I will shop elsewhere and continue to inform anyone I can on your racist positions.

I am very upset with your decision to pull Lowes advertising from All American Muslim. One year ago I purchased a washer and dryer at your store.This year I am renovating my kitchen and buying new appliances, I will not be bringing my business to you. Your company should not give in to hatred and ignorance . Groups and individuals that spread fear can only be strengthened by your actions. Shame on you!

Way too go Lowes.....finally a company that wont bow down to peer media pressure in pulling their ads off the "All American Muslim" show !!!! Im Canadian and we have a show on TV called "Little Mosque on the Praire" which to me is a slap in the face to the ALL AMERICAN SHOW.....Little house on the praire. I wish companies advertising for that show would pull their ads like you did but they wont because they dont have the balls like you at Lowes do. Ive lived all over the world and have dealt with many muslims personally. Ive even read the Koran. They say its a peace loving religion...its not ! Thats not an opinion. Its a fact ! Again....congrats on your stand and your God given right as an American to do business with whom you chose. God Bless America (oh yeah Canada too) and may God continually bless Lowes and its employees for making a stand and NOT backing down. And to the woman that wrote a review stating she was a longtime customer for years but will not shop at Lowes anymore over this issue ??? Ive never shopped at Lowes ever before....but because of this issue I will RUN to Lowes (not Rona , not Home Depot) but will always shop at Lowes now !!! And to the CEO and the powers to be at Lowes. I totally support your decision in pulling your advertising. NO KNOWS who these people are. The persons responsible for the horrific acts of 9/11 lived amoung us for years w/o anyone knowing their true nature. Those who are "appalled" and "outraged" obviously didn't lose anyone dear to them in these attacks and have forgotten what these people have done to our country. I learned all I need to know about them on 9/11. Sen Ted Lieu D-Torrance should mind his own business as well as all the politians.

Your decision to pull sponsorship from "American Muslin" smacks of the worst type of religious bigotry. I just sold all of my stock in your company and I will no longer shop at Lowe's. Thank God for Home Depot. It seems that you choose to cater to the lowest common denominator of ignorance and intolerance. On this Christmas Eve, I am concerned that you might discriminate against Jews, Hindu's Buddist's for similar stupid reasons. Thank you for displaying your true colors and the fact that you list the supporting emails of your bigotery speaks volumes as to what you really stand for and believe......Have you no shame? How can you be so un-American and so un-Christian? The smell eminating from your corporate headquarters is a stench that will foul your brand for ever......How could you and your board and your senior executives be so stupid?

It is sad to see that your corporation and many others who have commented above have not the foresight to see that the people of this country must start learning about the Muslim culture because to ignore does nothing, but cause political and other decisions that are based on no true knowledge base, just hear say. No matter what religion the people in this show; we as a country need to desperately open our mind to learn about how others live. What Lowe's did was condone those who cannot work with others who have different views. If ever in this country, we need to have corporations who foster dialog.

Thank you Lowe's for pulling your ads from the "AMerican muslim" show. I applaud your decision. That show is not representative of America. You're one or the other. What happened to assimilating into the American culture??? My grandparents are from Europe and they became AMerican. English only was spoken in their home and they adopted the AMerican ways and culture. I am sick of other cultures coming to this country and trying to force us to accept them and their foreign ways. You come here speak English and be American that includes in your appearance and dress and especially your attitude. You are not owed anything here.
