Bought a dryer from Lowe's 3 weeks ago still waiting for it to be installed. The people working there are unfriendly, I look around looking for help and the employees are ignoring the customer. Nobody are saying "May I help you?" at all. As for the dryer, I went back to Lowes to inquire about it one week later, the sales person tells me it's not here yet. Also that I need to pay for the installation. Okay, since I am there I wanted to pay for the installation, went to customer service they can't help me, they sent me back to appliance, they can't help me either. They sent me back to customer service who called the service manager, then we walked back again to appliance, still the service manager can't help me. How hard can it be to pay for installation. I have to come back the next day to look for the guy who sold me the dryer. 3 weeks and waiting....

Lowes in Merrillville, Indiana sucks! Or should I say the employees do...particularly Shirley in Customer Service. She always has major attitude. You would think she owned the store and whatever money is Lowes is hers too. Get a life Shirley! Try to smile once in a while....or if you are that miserable with your job go somewhere else and work and spread your sunshine elsewhere.

The Lowes store in Lavale, Maryland has to have the worst service and management I have ever seen. This is store #0468 for your reference. My dilema started on Friday evening 8-31-12 around 9:17 pm after checking out with 3 cart loads of OSB sheeting, 2x4's, 2x8's, aluminum coil stock, 4x6 post, screen and screen track, 3 storm doors and various other components for my weekend project. Upon giving the checkout clerk my hard earned money, $1300.07 she asked if I needed help loading the items in my vehicle ..........I told her yes I would appreciate that. She assured me someone would be along shortly. I unloaded the first cart into my truck while 4 of your employees stood inside the glass doors and had a converstaion. All were wearing your lowes smock and the one man was more interested in talking to the young cashier than helping me or another customer who was loading his own siding outside also. I continued to load my vehicle in front of the glass doors in plain site thinking surely someone will be out to help and then one of them ventured out. I was gladly ready to welcome some help loading but to my surprise he just came out to get my empty cart !!!!!!!!!!!! I said nothing directly to him although I bit my tongue and continued unloading the rest of my puchase into my vehicle. I then took my 10 year old daughter back into the store where I asked the cashier to speak to the manager on duty. I could tell by the way the manager walked over to me that he had the attitude that I was bothering him. He asked if there was a problem with my order and I told him the order no, but the customer service yes. I asked him to walk outside and I showed him my 8' bed truck full to the top of the rails. I then showed him my reciept for the $1300.07 purchase in which I paid cash and proceded to tell him how his employees had better things to do then help me load my vehicle. I told him of the 4 LOWES employees yaking and flrting with the cashier, the older gentleman who came outside for what I thought was help but he just came out for my empty cart while 2 more stood there loaded. I even pointed that man out to your manager. Your manager was very appologetic, and assured me he would talk to the people involved and get to the bottom of it and that someone was to be on loading duty but apparently was not. He also told me all he could do is appologize. Thats B.S.!! I showed the manager my company accounts reciveable card ( probably 1 of 50 within our company here in Cumberland, MD which is local) and also informed him that business could go elsewhere to. At this point I would atleast expect the manager to try and do something right to keep the customer part way happy after the beligerence of his employees was shown. He simply said sorry and I don't know what else to do, It will be taken care of. I walked torward my truck, and the manager went back inside. I walked back over in front of the glass doors where the cashier could see me in plain sight. Your manager walked by all the people involved including the guy who was pointed out to him for coming out to get the empty cart. NOT A WORD WAS SAID TO ANY OF THEM!!!! I walked back into the store and asked the cashier what the managers name was and wrote it down. I also told her to make sure he knows that I came back in for his last name so I could report him to the corporate office after he stood there and LIED right to my face. Your store manager on duty was MIKE BOLT. I would expect any manager in his position where the customer was 100% right and held a business acoounts recivable card in his hand for a seperate company to atleast take the customer back in and knock something off the bill just to keep them happy ALONG with an appology. Your staff needs straightened out and some needs let go. Until my issue is resolved I will be dealing strictly with 84 Lumber both personally and on a business stand point. Im an x homedecor associate after 9YRS of service, and being harassed over past year by my dm,sm, and hr.acussing me of things writing me up over false accusations.Iwas fired,they said job performance.My last month there I had no help people quiting dm,on inventory,vacation then paint training wich I was left out of.Iwould stay over because no coverage .Had 6.000 dollar blind order to cut had to beg for a.week to get help.Got it done sm gave me a high 5.Went on vacation .came back, and was fired.I know they are getting rid of alot of fulltime assoc.,But the way they are doing it is WRONG,and it will come back to bite them,because Ido belive what goes around comes around.

Had them remodel my kitchen. It was a cluster from the word go. What could go wrong did. Wrong cabinets; notified countertop not available (ordered 3 months ago). This experience from Hell has been going on for nearly 4 months. Beware to the person(s) responsible. Hershell..please learn to spell; you make the military look like idiots!

Purchased a Samsung dryer last November and now it makes a terrible noise and doesn't work at all. I purchased the extended warranty so not to have to deal with a piece of equipment when it breaks down. I have called in to have Lowes for it to be repaired or replaced. The young lady told me that a service tech would need to come out and try to repair it first. The first time they had on the schedule was next Friday September 7th. I guess that means when you buy a dryer from Lowes expect to have to use the closest laundry mat to really dry any cloths. So much for the expensive extended warranty I purchased. Sincerely SCREWED!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Just left the Lincoln California store and had the rudest lady help me on a refrigerator return. I go into Lowe's because the Samsung refrigerator that I bought has been a piece of garbage. Anyway, long story short, Samsung sends a fax to the store telling them to take it back. I go in to pick another fridge only to have Kim Sanchez tell me that unless I get the same make and model, yeah like that's going to happen, that I have to purchase another fridge and then they will refund the bad fridge after they come and pick it up. I told her that wasn't going to happen because then I'd be out over $3800 for a fridge as opposed to the $1900 for the one. She tells me that those are the rules and I tell her that in customer service some rules can be broken. She rubs her hands together and states in essence that she's out of there and walks off. So I get the store manager involved, he over rides her ridiculous decision making process and says pick a fridge, pay the difference or if it's cheaper, we'll give you the difference back. Now was that so hard Ms. Sanchez???

On 8/8/2012 Lowes was scheduled to repair my refrigerator that had flooded my kitchen and destroyed the food in my freezer. Water had been leaking from the two ice makers. The company Lowes uses to do the repair came out and had to order a part for the repair. They returned on 8/13/2012 to complete the repair. I had to call them back and schedule another service call because the bottom ice maker did not work. They were scheduled on 8/28/2012 in the afternoon. Each visit I had schedued after 12:00 because I had to take off from work for the repairs. I received a call from the service company at 11:30 stating that they had a cancellation and could come earlier. I explained again that I had to leave from work and would not be available. The tech insisting on coming earlier or reschedule the appt. I explained I had to leave from work. He said he would call me back. At 4:00 still no call. I call the service company and he said that he called me and no one answered. I expained that I called right back and spoke with someone. He said let me follow up and I will call you back. At 5:00 no call. I called and was hung up on...I called back and got a voicemail. So. I called Lowes. What a waste of time. The person I spoke with tried to call the serivce company no answer. Basically, I was told you need to reschedule. Sorry. Of course,there was nothing available when I could leave work. I asked if I coud speak to a supervisor and he said there was not one available. I asked for a Corp number and was told we don't have one. So, I am looking it up for myself. I have spent over $5000.00 in appliances at Lowes since 3/2010. I have had nothing but, service issues with the washer and the refrigerator. Your service after making a purchase has been nothing but, a hassle and time taken off from my job. If Lowes will ever send someone out to fix my refrig. This will be the fifth visit in a short period of time. I will NEVER purchase another item at Lowes (EVER). It is absolutely sad that you cannot provide customer service after selling appliances. Your employees are of no help and did nt want to find a way to resolve issues. I will make sure that my poor experiences at Lowes are told to family and friends. I will gladly go to Home Depot or anywhere else but, Lowes even if it cost more to get good customer service.

Went to Lowes today 08-27-2012 to replace a broken dishwasher, asked about a Maytag, they would need to order it. Asked about a Whirlpool they appliance manager said she would check the computer, she said she showed 2 in stock, 1 of which was damaged. She returned from the warehouse and said she did not have one. She offered the display model. I asked her if that would be at a discount she said no. I made it a point to ask her(the sales manager) if I would get all the parts, she said yes. The sales manager suggested I get a flat cart so off I went. When I returned she had wrapped the dishwasher in plastic. I was sure to ask her again if it had all the parts, she reassured me it did. I took it home and began the installation and the parts were missing just two hose clamps in a bag and 1 screw. I went to another hardware store and got the parts to get it running. I did not want to go back to Lowe's again because I was so mad. Finally after getting it installed I looked again for the counter anti-tip brackets and distinctly remember watching her unscrew the display unit from those brackets before I left to get the cart. She knew they were not in the bag so again I went back to Lowe's.When I arrived I looked into the display bay where she had removed the dishwasher from and there were some of the parts. The appliance sales manager had to go look for the counter anti-tip brackets. You would think Lowes would hire someone who actually knows something about appliances.... No, you hire people who know nothing about them then make them managers. Our Lowe's had a retired plummer working 2 years ago and fired him for cursing or being over heard cursing by a customer. That guy was the most awesome guy Lowe's has ever had. I could tell him what I wanted and he would gather all the parts for me and suggested better ways of doing things, saving me time. 1 week after he was fired they replaced him with some kid. I was there to by a shower divert valve, I could not locate one because the management decided to move everything around so it was not in its usual place and asked the young man where they were. He told me that Lowe's did not sell them. I exclaimed why not, every other hardware store does. He suggested I go to one of those stores. I should have smacked the punk, but instead I asked him if he knew what the valve was and what it was used for. He choked up and knew he was busted. I searched for about 10 minutes and found it...took it to him and showed him the valve Lowe's did not sell. I hate driving the extra miles to Home Depot but I find myself doing it more and more. It saves time in the long run. Ace Hardware is way better as far as knowledgeable sales staff, but they only carry a limited selection. It would seem that with so many retired experienced people out there, Lowe's would hire them but instead they hire the inexperienced. The corporate guys don't care, the dollar is the bottom line for them. I use to spend a great deal of money at Lowe's as I remodeled homes part time. Now if time permits I go to Home Depot. Today I was pressed for time and the sales staff at Lowe's cost me more time than I would have saved by going to Hickory, NC The Morganton, NC store has gone to hell, new faces every time I go there which is not often. Today was the last straw for me. Its a damn shame too. There use to be some good people there who knew what they were doing. Maybe when the market share drops to the point that they close that store, then a competitor will step up and fill the void. P.S. While at the back of my truck I asked a Lowe's employee if he would help me lift the dishwasher onto the back of my truck, he looked at his watch and mumbled he was in a hurry, he did help me and I thanked him but it pissed him off just the same. I figured he had a right to be pissed off.....after all he had to work there.

I visited the Lowes located in Clinton, Maryland to purchase additional paint for my deck. I arrived at the paint department at 12:45pm and I could not find anyone to assist me. I saw three employees wearing the Lowes vest and they walked passed me while I was standing at the paint desk. Another employee walked in with a subway sandwich in his hand and walked passed me; he looked at the computer inside the paint station and left out;it is now 1:00pm and I still cannot find any assistance. Finally, I walked over to customer service while the telephone was ringing like crazy again and I didn't see anyone attempting to answer the phone therefore I could not ask anyone to help me. Wow, I see another Lowes employee.....his name is Jermey. It is now 1:30pm, Jermey was very pleasant assisting me and other customers with our paint purchases. I left the paint department at 2:15pm which is too too long for me spent my money. For my future home improvement needs -I will drive the extra miles to go to Home Depot. Lowes customer service reminds me of Hechinger's and today where is Hechinger's?????

purches 400.00 dollars in tile at the poconos lowes store ,3207 route 940.. they would not honor my 10 percent coupon , manager was a jerk so was the cashier, not freindly and very rude ,, told me that teh coupon was used already when just got from post office ,, get them there for free , ask for the change of adrss forms its in it , ,i am going to return it all ,, then go to HOME DEPOT ,, where they help you and say have a great day , even if they are having a bad day , that is respect,, lowes always have rude people and never smile just look at you like its comming out of there pocket,, they dont even make enough in month to pay for the tiles , very rude,,

Well, Chad...I ordered the same compressor for my husband..I have gotten the run around for 2 months now...I am currently on hold with the corporate office..I told him they could just mail me a check..you see I already paid for the one I ordered.The Beaumont store #95 I have called and no help..I was on hold for 18 minutes, finally hung up and called back..I asked for a manager and she said sure..It rang and rang and rang,,she then hung up on me..so I wait to hear....Ok....corporate called the store where I bought itand they had 40 people on back order..They only get 2 or 3 in at a time, so they are going down the list to give them out in the order that they were sold..He said the Manager was not there today, so he would be calling me..Since this is not something we have to get in a hurry..I am willing to wait..The corprate office was very concerned and helpful...Thank you so much

Lowes is following Home Depot right off the cliff with bad Customer Service making false claims about People stealing so they can write off to the Government and did you all know they get Half of their money back. This is the going trend in this COUNTRY is help a Law Firm out make its payroll. Courtesy of the Functional Court systems that want to be a private sector in their payroll. Lets face it a JUDGE is nothing more than a LAWYER with a BLACK CAPE. Why not treat his or her friends and colleages to thick bank roll. The United States has finally caught up with MIDDLE EASTERN Corrupt Politics . After going to war and observing how they operate we are deciding to just shoot into the woods and get everything thats moving. And who cares they make us money , its just paper, right! Why not contribute to the legal depository so the rich can drive a BENTLEY this year, A BMW not worthy now.

Lowes lisens to Customers through special hearing devices and they watch you through the CAMERAS but GOD DAMNED if they can send a man out to help you with something. Forget that ! they would rather observer you Mr. Customer from a distance. Dont hire anyone and let the Customer stand there like a maniquein . Im sorry but there needs to be more Competition in this COUNTRY. Does everyone remmeber when HONE QUARTERs was in business and how great Home Dept and LOWES treated you , NOW they have Quid Quo Pro working for them. Yes MY little sweets you have no where to run but the BIG ORANGE and Us the MASTERS or the HUMAN RACE BIG BLUE. No competition is doing this. It would be like two insurance companies only. How about just two banks. Bank of England , whoops I mean Bank of AMERICA and Chase Bank of London England, or how about "HOUSE of Windsor" HOLD bank, How about GOLDMAN " LONDON " SACHS. Yes thats what is really going on . Trust me about this.

I bought a lamp long time ago and i never install it I went today to change it for a different one and the store did not give me the credit back they put my money back in a credit card from 2 years ago , I told them that I did not have that card anymore and they told me that they can not do anything about it, that the transaction was already made. They keep the lamp that cost me $150 , and they didn't give me anything not the credit and not the money.I was ripped of , what a shame !this was at the store 2904 in Miami Fl. I hope somebody read this at the corporate office, I really don't want this to happen to anybody else where supposed to be customers and we deserve respect.

Wow, let me start off by saying I was an employee of lowes. Key work being WAS. After five and a half months of working there (just 14 days shy of the state statute to claim unemployment) loses terminated me based and a bunch of false accusations. They told me I had done things I had no knowledge of and gave me no chance to explain myself. Lowes has left an honest man jobless.

I came into the Muskogee Lowes a few days ago. (store #0124) After spending thousands of dollars there the past few years I came in to have a few blinds cut. I couldnt find anyone around the mini blinds so I cam up front to ask for help. The man who helped me, I think he said his name was James russel, was entirely rude. He informed me that he could in fact cut blinds, but was too busy to come cut them for me. He then turned around and sat in a room behind the desk and proceeded to eat a candy bar. I then asked the woman at the counter for a manager and the same man came back out! He was the store manager! If the store manager treats customers like that then I understand why you can't find anybody in the store, who would want to work for a man like that? Lowes in Muskogee is probably the worst store I have ever shopped in. I will not be back.

Dear long time Lowes customers and future customers. Please understand that in corporate america we reserve the right to shop anywhere in our God given city, state etc..., that the only possible way for us to stop being treated so unfairly by a huge corporation such as Lowes is to simply stop shopping. You can call and complain or simply get on line and complain but I assure you that they are LOL at all of us and simply don't care!!!I beg of you to shop anywhere but here. I seriously doubt that this will get posted but this is simply the truth about any entity that has gotten to large and has forgotten what true friendly customer service is. The only way to turn this around is for all of us to simply help each other in a calm caring manner. THINK ABOUT PAYING IT FORWARD!!!!!!!

I will never deal with Lowes again. I discovered that warranties are meaningless. We bought a riding mower in March. Had to send it back b ecause the deck was bent. When we got it back, whenever it was put in reverse, it would throw a belt. They picked it up and try to tell us that it was not under warranty and it would cost over $200.00. Then the decided it was. They brought it back. That was about two months ago. Now the blades don't turn. It has been one miserablr purchase. We also bought a washer and dryer in 2007. It was under warranty. In May the door opener switch went bad. We called the repair man that is on Lowes list. He came and put on a new part. In June it would not spin dry, the man came and worked and couldnt seem to find a problem. He left and the same thing happened. I called him back he said that there must be a problem with the control unit and he would have to order a part. That was in early June I have yet to see him. I have called him and he keeps telling me the part isn't in. I might be a woman but, I am not gullible.

Bad Assistant Management Teams located in the Fort Payne Store, they will straight up lie to you in order to get all the deals themselves. Will never shop there again. They need a whole new Manager, Assistant Managers and take care of the dedicated employees they do have instead of the discrepancy that you have with the higher up. Was told a complete lie, straight up. Will go to Home Depot from now own to get all the needs.
