I WORK FOR LOWES AND LET ME TELL YOU IT HAS ITS UPS AND DOWNS. BUT PEOPLE THE ASSOCIATES DONT MAKE THE RULES & WE DONT STAFF THE STORE. ITS MANAGEMENT THAT GETS A BONUS FOR LOW HOURS OF EMPLOYEES HINCE NO EMPLOYEES TO BE FOUND, NO REGISTERS OPEN, OR NO HELP IN DEPARTMENTS. DON'T TAKE IT OUT ON THE ASSOCIATES WITH YOUR BAD TEMPER, WE JUST WORK THERE. SORRY FOR YOUR BAD DAY, BUT GO HOME AND COME BACK WHEN YOU CAN HANDLE IT.

I have a friend that called Lowes to replace her dishwasher because it was not running right and would turn on by itself.I received a call from them on 9/20/12 at 7Am that they will be out to my house today at the time between 3 at 5 as of right now they have not showed up.My friend did leave her job early, leaving us short at work twice ,and on this second time well lets say.She is very upset on this and said she will try not ever to buy large housewhole items from them again.I ,Judy is at that job and now it is very stressful here. This is 1/2 a star. not a one.Lowes in Merrero in Louisiana is not good on appointments.Job getting busy.Send this to the lowes in Merrero.

I purchased a stove yesterday for a vacant rental property I own. At the time, I specified that I needed to know the time it would be delivered in order to be there. I specified to the sales clerk that we did not live there, and we did not want to wait for hours in a vacant apartment for delivery. I was very upset to receive a telephone recorded message at 8:29pm stating that it would be delivered between 9am and 11am on the following day. I immediately called the store before it closed, and was told to call Penny at the local store in the morning. When I called in the morning, I was told that Penny was not working today. I then called the other number (out of area) for delivery. That lady was extremely nice, and told me that she would notify the delivery people to call me 20 minutes prior to their arrival so I could meet them there. I emphasized that I wanted it after 9am. As soon as I finished speaking with her, they called at 7:56am to say they would be there within 25 minutes. I was not expecting a call before 9am, so I was not even dressed yet. I had to rush to meet them in there. Since no one had told me that the stove did not come with a plug, I had to ask them to remove the plug from the old stove. They said they were not allowed to install the plug on the new stove. Therefore, we were unable to verify that it was in working condition. When I returned home, I got a recorded call asking me to do a survey on this purchase. It said that I could press 2 to record a 60 second comment at the end of the survey. When I did this, there was a garbled sound, and the recording went back to saying press 2 to record. It did the same thing again. Needless to say, I am very dissatisfied with the manner in which Lowes does the deliveries!

very bad customer sevices please help you costumers help help hepl heaquarters please

I purchased a Bosch dishwasher on Aug 29, 2012 with a promise it will be delivered within 5 days. After calling Lowes the manager and detailing what is my problem, he took my information to investigate and will call me back. Never heard from him or any one. This is still going on with no response. In the future I will never buy from Lowes.

The Lowes Texas City, Texas store has great people and great management, they helped me get my 4 month old New Troy Built lawn Mower sent out and repaired in one week just like they said they would, I bought it up here in Texas City since I work up here in this area took it home to Victoria Texas were I use it and the Lowes in Victoria Texas was not any help at all, maybe someday the Victoria Lowes will get up to the same standard and quality as the Texas City Texas Lowes. Thanks Lowes in Texas City Texas you have quality people I appreciate you.

my email address is bobby._b888@att.net i have a complaint they refuse to hire me as a cashier in the west knoxville,tn. and alcoa,tn. stores they have mistreated for years

I forgot one important thing..... this all happened at the lowes in WPB (Okeechobee Blvd) FL.

This has nothing to do with any Lowes store, but rather with your new advertising campaign. I see a couple with a sledge hammer going through a room crushing what looks like perfectly functional sinks and walls and shelving and smashing them. After they are done crushing everything, they then are standing beaming with pride at their new room. This may be attention grabbing, but it is obscene in the very American attitude of wasting perfectly good things because there might be something better you could have. I'm sure it's good to make people dissatified with what they have, but it is also insulting to those of us who aren't comfortable with wholesale waste...

I'm not going to go into detail as I am sure everyone reading this either works for lowes and doesn't care, or the rest whom have had similar issues and have their own woes to contend with. After having some issues with an item I wanted to purchase at lowes I asked to speak to a mananger, of course he wasn't available so I spoke with a supervisor who's name is ed. All I would like to say so to keep this short and not to bore anyone to tears with a long drawn out essay... the supervisor ed who was ringing up the sale said to me and this is after I just questioned the total price....... ready folks??? ed said (and NOW YOU ARE BREAKING MY..........), he must have said "OOPS" to himself and didn't finish the last word....... Can you imagine a so called supervisor talking like that to a customer?? That shows a lot of professionalism and curteousy and also shows us the type of person that represents lowes.... oh, by the way notice that I didn't use a capital letter to address lowes... well, that's how I feel about them and if Corporate does something about ed or not, at least I will give it a try. PS. I didn't address ed with a capital letter either!! I almost forgot the best part, I did get to speak to a manager who after I explained what ed said to me, the manager said to me... I don't know if ed really said that, I wasn't standing next to him... I have to presume he was calling me a liar. I just let what he said pass as I knew he was not at all concerned or apologetic. A good manager would have called ed to the side, with me in view and question him. Well, my visit to lowes was very upsetting but after a while I thought about it and said....sad sad company and then I Laughed because I do believe in Karma...

I went to Lowe's in Athens Ohio and paid for a 17 C Freezer. On Wednesday night I stopped at Lowe's and They LOAD AND TIED IT IN MY TRUCK. (8:25pm) I started home down the main highway, no hills driving 50 miles an hour. I live about 20 minutes from Athens, but I was taking my time. Guess what! The freeze went over my tailgate and landed in the highway.(4 Lane) It landed in the middle of the two lanes. I trying calling Lowes at 8:59pm but no answer. They were closed. I put all my lights on, got out and tryed to move it off the road. Two car came around me and THANK GOD they stopped and helped me. Three young men load the freezer and followed me to my road. When I got home my husband and I got it out of the truck and box. Had some damage on two sides. We plugged it in, at this time it is still running. I called Lowe's this morning and talked to Larry (Manager). I told him what happen and he told me that they are not to tie anything down, BUT THEY DID!!

I bought a storage shed from the Lowes in Plainville MA that wasn't in stock so they say it would have to be special ordered. I paid the full amount over 500.00, which was taken out of my bank account via my debit card. They said it would take 7 to 10 days to come in and they would call when it arrived . I needed it asap so we could store some items while we had some construction done on our garage. After 2 1/2 wks. went by I callled to check on the status. The customer service person said it was never ordered and that they're were not even carrying it anymore. They had already been paid and never even bothered to call me at all. Now I'll have to try and get our money back and go look for another shed. It won't be at Lowes. This is another example of the poor customer service in that store.

I recently purchased a washer and dryer with pedestals at the Highland, Indiana store. Iwas told that the pedestals had to be ordered and then the total order would be delivered in 2-3 weeks. This was on 9/3/12. I received my credit cards and the first statement with a due date of October 1st. Today is 9/14 and the store could not give me a firm delivery date. I called the credit card company and asked for an extension on the first payment considering that I had not rec'c delivery with no definite date expected. They totally refused to do anything. I went to the Lowe's store and asked the same but to no avail. Their reply was that they could not do anything as it was up to the credit card company.. I think it is ridiculous to start paying for mdse. not received. I have cancelled the order==$2800.00--and have cancelled my account. The store didn't seem to care. If you keep losing business because of this indifference--don't expect a bailout from Washington. Judging from the previous comments from other customers, I guess I am not alone with my dissatisfaction with LOWE'S I would now rather spend my home improvement money elsewhere.

Customer service is none existent at the Lowes store in La Habra, Ca. in it's paint dept.. The sales employee was sullen and acted like my order was an inconvience, I had interupetd her conversation with another employee in a another dept.. They were talking about their personal lives, nothing business related. Will I buy paint at Lowes in the future, hell no. Will buy from Home Depot or a major paint store were my business will be appreaciated. Now I know why I wasn't hired on in the plumbing dept., which I am more qualified, with 40 years experiance, then the employees that Lowes hires. Must be I don't have the sullen or the excuse me your bothering me attitudes that prevails in Lowes stores.

I was in the palm spring store the other day looking for information I bought a home many years ago and it already had an central a/c unit installed and it recently stop working properly so I call the manufacture an they say that I have a warranty the is still good for my unit and the part I need it sold at Lowes so I go to Lowes and ask for someone who could help me with a/c unit and they call a young man and I tell him my issues and he asked me what part was I looking for I sure enough I forgot to ask the manufacture.... There I was standing there thinking what am I going to do and he enlightens me by letting me know since I still have an active warranty on the unit itself that all I have to do is call the manufacture and have someone come to my house to inspect it and they should be able to fix the problem I now have a working a/c in my home and it didn't cost me a thing I would lime to thank Lowes for being so knowledgeable

I recently was turned down for a job at the York store for a younger person as a dam janitor ,this is the 9th time Lowes claims they dont abuse ages ! well guess what they do so Homedepot is a new place for me

They lie. From manager. To the. Only. People they have installing carpet I think. Manage and carpet laying people are in bed together. Never a reason to treat a customer with a lot of lies Everyone. Should think twice before being a customer of there's there is enough stress in the world with out paying money. To a large corporation to get more stress

I recently went to the Lowes in Berlin New Jersey. I went to the paint department and there were two employess mixing paint. There was one customer on the other side of the counter and myself on the opposite side of the counter. Neither employee asked if I needed help. As the male employee turned towards me I asked him if they had crackle paint" Tony" walked right by me. I turned and said excused me and he still did not respond until I said that is rude,. He turned and walked towards me and said to me in an negative attitude "no we dont" and I and again said that he was rude he got right up to my face and said I am with a customer. I told him thats all he had to do was to say I will be with you shortly. I will never go to Lowes in Berlin New Jersey on route 73. I did call the corporate office and complained. Customer service is the utmost importance. If your kind and patient with the customer they will return. I agian will NEVER go into that store again.

Lowes in Palestine, Tx. wants to charge $1,200 to install a $675 three rail farm fence made of vinyl( put ten post in ground, rails slide in slots in posts). That fence would be 72' long. JEREMY IS AN IDIOT.
