Buy American made

This week I purchased two 1/4 turn angle valve Brand name Keeney (made in China) for $8.97 ea. I saw yesterday at Home Depot two 1/4 turn angle valve Brand name Brasscraft ( made in USA) for $8.97 ea. So today I returned the two China made valves back to Lowes for a refund. Home Depot is the winner in this match. Always buy Made in USA when possible. By the way, I am a Viet Nam Veteran and proud of our Country.

No customer service

I walked into the lowes in lawton ok. Looking for an oven bulb. I asked customer service where I could locate the bulb. Customer service directed me to appliances. When I got to appliances, I was directed to go to the bulb isle. When I reached the bulb isle, I couldn't locate the bulb I wanted. I searched for an assistance for help and no one around. I wasted thirty minutes looking for an oven bulb. I left there and went to Home Depot. I'm in and out with my bulb less than four minutes.

Products in lowes store

Why does Lowes sell the customer any product in the store but when you go back to get a replacement you guys don't carry it in the store but you can special order the replacement part with no problem?? I need my replacement product now. I have already drove to Lowes several times and still can't find the replacement part... Today I asked an employee about the replacement part and he said they could order it for me?? Really .... I guess I will have to spend my money and time with another building material place other than Lowes due to y'all will sell anything to anybody so you get your money then when you come back after you need a replacement part for what ever you purchased & the best you can say is we can order it..... Guess I can sit around and wait till it comes in 4 to 6 weeks later?? This is a sign of POOR business to the consumer

horrible customer service

We purchased our refrigerator 6 months ago. It stopped working and I called Lowes ' service. We have been with a fridge for a week now, and it looks like 1 or 2 more weeks if we're lucky. 2 service calls and 6 calls to Lowes and nothing. Continual lies and apologies from Lowes with NO action or results. I have bought a lot from Lowes in the past, I remodel houses, but never again. Horrible customer service.

It is extremely disappointing when we are led to believe that when we order a washing machine, it will be delivered, installed and in working order. We ordered a coin operated one, waited nearly 2 weeks, finally it came, the guy installed it BUT has no idea what to do with the coin operation, so the machine isn't working. I made many phone calls to ??? including Lowe's head office, and they didn't even return my call within 254 hours as I was told, after explaining to the person there the problem. I have some very angry tenants and Lowe's is ignoring me.

My comments are for Lakesha's Dream. While you are making comments about black employees' getting educated, you should be worrying about educating yourself in writing and spelling. Stop trying to put other people down.Cause you sound like you don't know what you are talking about. Be part of the solution, not the problem.

Veterans

Lowe's no longer accepts a Veteran's DD-214 or having "veteran" on their Georgia drivers license in order to get the 10% discount - you must have a retired ID card or a Veteran's Administration Card. Since learning this 3 weeks ago - instead of going to Lowe's, I have gone to Home Depot - because they still treat their veterans right. FYI - I have spent almost $1000 at HD in the last 3 weeks, and since I am remodeling my 5 bedroom house (all the kids are gone now) I plan on spending a lot more. Too bad Lowe's won't be getting any of it. Please pass this on to ALL veterans you know.

New Garden Window

We are very happy with the New Garden Window that Lowe's had installed for us. The original was installed in Feb of 2003. That window did not stand the test of time and after much discussion with the Local Lowe's here in Snellville, GA, Lowe's did step up and replaced it for us. We thank you very much. outstanding for exports

After dealing with Home Depot and Brandsmart in Florida, I called the Lowes in West Palm Beach, Florida. Orlis del Toro took my call and within minutes I had a perfect refrigerator and outdoor grill for my home in St. John Virgin Islands. He understood everything about shipping to the Caribbean and knew the procedures very well. Knowing that the items had to be at the shipper the next day, he expidited my paper work. The next day, I had an e-mail from him saying that the shipper now had them in their possession. Wow! During 20 years in the Caribbean, I have never had such attentive and smooth running service. Additionally, he sought out a special size range that Lowes can special order and called back with the information. I will be buying that in the future and many other items, since Orlis makes it all so easy to do.

the hardware dept at the lowes on peachtree ind close to the buckhead area,,,,the blackmale and black female employess that seem to know nothing about the door knobs or any rekeying of such,,and since these,,black employess are only there because of the obama rule going on in america,,and most wouldnt even be working except that they now have to because of all the new laws,,,then will some one educate them in the dept they are in besides having them stand around wasting the white customers time and your money,,,

Worst Company I have ever dealt with

Placed an order on Dec. 16th online, paid and received an estimated pick up date at the local Store for Dec. 31st. Called on Dec. 22nd to follow up on the order and was advised, after the CSR called the local store, that my order would be avaialble for pick up on the date indicated. Called this morning again to see if it already had come in, since it should be available in 2 days time and competitors had shown in the past that merchandise will be available before the promised date. I was advised by the CSR that a REP from the local store would call to follow up - GUESS WHAT - the oder was NEVER PLACED!!! REP 7 Mangaer of the local store didn't seem to be too concerned and didn't offer any real help either, bescides pointing out that everyone is closed during the holidays and it could take very well another 3 weeks. TWO THUMBS DOWN ON EVERY ASPECT.

Outstanding Customer Service & Customer Relations

Purchased a Christmas decoration a few days ago that carries tremendous sentimental meaning to me. Unfortunately, the lights on it stopped working yesterday. Called Lowe's earlier and spoke with Jeff, who was kind, courteous, and so understanding of the value attached to the decoration. When he could not find another one readily in stock, he went out of his way to search each shelf. He found the last one, which had been misplaced/tucked behind several other boxes. The old one was refunded without any troubles. I cannot thank Jeff enough for all he did, for it is something that will forever remind me of my dear Mom and her love of lighthouses & Christmas. Lowe's has always provided excellent service, in every way--many times going above & beyond--and will always have my business.

Terrible customer service

Went to Lowe's today to look for a Christmas tree. Went out to the garden area and there were few trees. That was not the problem. No one came out to ask if we needed help. We went into the inside garden area and two employees were in there and just looked at us and neither asked if they could be of help. Then we looked at the artificial trees. Still no assistance. We got in the car and went down the road a bought a tree elsewhere and the customer service there was great.

great product, terrible service!

My wife and I recently bought a washer and dryer from Lowes in Lancaster, PA. These were the very high end expensive machines. I have no problem spending alot of money on quality products, which they were but, the sales personel were horrible! if someone's spending thousands of dollars on your products in one shopping trip, i would expect to be treated with a pleasant manner and not as if we were making your day inconveniant! The delivery guys were great! and the product was well worth the money we spent but, our shopping experience was terrible and we will be shopping to Home Depot or Best Buy from now on!

Carpet

Lowe's carpet installation is very very very bad. After service too. This company took my money . Everything is horrible.never buy , never install from lowe's. No guarantee no refund no repair. Horrible company.

DOOR

Well let me begin by saying I am very disappointed with Lowes! I purchased a door (special order) after 3 attempts I lowes finally managed to build my order on the computer, its a special order back door with a doggie door cut out etc. paid close to $800.00 on this order only to get the wrong door installed! lowes of course blamed it on the manufacturer stating that they delivered the wrong door to them. Meanwhile, I am still waiting on a call from Lowes? not one apology? time is ticking... Corporate Office, after reading reviews from customers, I am surprised you are still in business? make it right dammit! I should not have to wait for my door!!! never buy carpt at lowes they take your money order carprt and give a delevery date and call and tell you a differnt date and again and again not happy with their sales at all this happend twice to me never again wont buy any thing from lowes again

Beware of Installed Sales

If u plan on buying anything and having it installed from Lowe's, please remember, once they take your payment upfront they will just leave you to the mercy of their sub-contractors....
