The LJS in Greer Sc has fired an employee for leaving in the middle of his shift to be at the birth of his child. After calling his manager to notify her the reply he got was "I'm at a movie right now". Is this what we have stooped to? That a person should have to choose between the birth of a child or his job? A memory you can not ever get back and being able to support your family???? If this were upper management this were happening to it would not even be an issue..... the shift would have been covered by a measley little minion and never thought about again.
ordered food at marion ohio location today store #31684 at 12:54 P.M. food arived at our table at 1:36 P.M. 45 min wait then she brought out the wrong order, while we was waiting 2 other people wanted their money back and left! after she brought out the right food we had ordered onion rings and she gave us french frys. I told her and she took the food back agian then brought us the same food back with the french frys along with the onion rings and said heres the onion rings the french frys are on us today! the food was cold and I asked for a go box and told her we would not be returning to this store agian, the food is now in the trash and I am out $20.19
we was at store # 31684 Marion ohio ordered at 12:54 got the food at 1:34 45 min wait then she brought the wrong order while we was waiting 2 other people ask for there money back and left, I told her we ordered onion rings and she gave us french frys so she took back our food then returned the same food and gave us 2 things of onion rings and said the french frys are on us today like she was doing us a favor, the food was cold and I asked for a box to take it home, it is now in the trash and I am out $20.19 and will never return to Marion LJS agian!

Hello I am a every week vistor at the location #31404 and i always order my 3-5 chicken planks every week. I always ask for them to be fresh out the greash because I do not like to eat cold food. I recently visit the store Saturday night and I had a horrible experience. I had to wait 10 minutes just for someone to take my order. When Andre took my order he was sweet as can be. But when the lady Domca I believe thats what her name was handed me the food she seem to be irraited with her job. She seemed to be mad about something in her work ethic. But me as a customer did not like her attitude towards me as a customer. I would like you to fix her attitude because even if she was mad i didnt like her attitude. Thank you very much
I visited a long john silvers on Muskogee street in Tahlequah, Oklahoma and got something for my wife that was in the hospital clear across town. she thought we went down about a block because the food was still hot and fresh I want to thank the people at this store they did a great job and was very friendly did return there again before my wife was released I live in Stilwell,oklahoma and wish you guys happy holidays from my family!
We live 1 block from this Long John Silvers, ive been there 4 times and they have always messed my order up and i had to walk back to get the correct order 4 times..also they never give me a receipt for what i payed for...the food today was Cold and also whats very Nasty is the Employee Uniforms there wearing...kinda looks like they came to work without taking a Bath or Shower for weeks....in other words.. Stupid/Nasty/Ghetto Employees who dont have the Proper Education to Understand Customer Service...if i wanted Cold Food ill go get some Ice Cream. If I could actually write a review on the website I would have. I finally went to Long John Silvers after hearing wonderful things about the fried seafood. After running errands all day, I decided to go to the Whitehorse location in NJ. Everyone that worked there was very nice, however when I finally got my meal and started eating everything tasted exactly the same. It dawned on me that the oil in the fryers is rarely ever changed. I decided not to eat more than a few bites, because I didn't want to get sick. Well too late I suffered an extreme case of diarrhea for 2 straight days. I hate that eateries don't take pride anymore. I hate that I used to have favorite places to eat and now I can't eat there anymore. For gods sake take pride in your business. For someone who eats out a lot, because I work a lot, I expect to eat food that doesn't effect me in such a way that I have to miss work. For your info only.
I went to the drive up at the store at 3801 1st Ave SE Cedar Rapids about 30 minutes ago. I wait behind one car. The lot was pretty full and there was a few cars ahead of me. When it was my turn to order I pulled up and the guy asked me if I would like to try a new combo with onion rings for $7 something. I started to say just a minute as I was going to look at the menu, when a woman came on the speaker and said there was a20 minute wait for food in drive thru. I said Ok just a minute and she said did you hear me I said there is a 20 minute wait like she couldn't believe I was still going to order. I said Oh ok I guess I'll leave then and she said Good.
Ordered at the drive through. 20 min later still sitting in the drive-thru. Manager argued with me. It got ugly and she was ver rude. I will never go back. I will send them all my lunch reciepts from other resturants for the next year.
Horrible service and slow! (Store #31215 Clarksburg, WV) The store is always dirty and they must not require a clean appearance from their employees!!! I seriously think someone needs to visit that store and help them clean their act up! Also waiting in line in drive thru for 25 mins just to get half your order right and never fresh is ridiculous! I think sometjibg needs done!
Today I went to resturant #21525 (Chickasha, Oklahoma) I ordered in the drive-thru. My total was $5.41 I gave her $5.50. While telling me that it would be a 5 minute wait (11:00am 10/28/12) the attendent dropped part of my money out of the window onto the ground. She made the statement that she was coming out to pick up what she dropped and to pick up another dime that she also saw on the ground. She then processed my order and gave me my ticket but not change ($.09) when I ask her for my change she told me to pick it up off of the ground under the drive-thru window. I asked for a manager when the manager got to the window she told me the same thing if I wanted my Change I need to get out of my car and pick it up off of the ground. I told them to cancel my order and give me my money back and they gave me $5.41 not the $5.50 that I gave them. When I ask for all of my money back again they told me to get out of my car and pick it up off of the ground under the drive-thru window. I told them I was not leaving the drive thru until I got my correct change. And then I called the Chickasha Police Dept. When They arrived (Officer Schoolfield) talked with me and talked with the manager. But Officer Schoolfield got nowhere with them and was told the same thing that my change was on the ground and I needed to pick it up if I wanted change. So to solve the problem Officer Schoolfield pick up the money and returned it to me. Thank you Chicksha Long John Silver # 31525 for making my Sunday morning horrible. Where I would usually share with five of my friends about your good service now I will share with 125 friends and strangers haw bad I was treated.
I have been eating at your establihment almost all my life and now 54 Years old! Gee! Here in the Humble, TX branch....HOUSTON WE HAVE A PROBLEM............. Everytime there is a natonal ad for your specials, etc... I go there and am always told "They are NOT honering the special" WHAT? Okay but why advertise then IN the state like Texas?????? Especially the 10 dollar fish special! So many people like me walked out dissapointed and we are loyal and LOVE your fish! So I hope you will do something about this?????? Thanks,
I had the worst service from the counter person at store#31883 in Knoxville,TN. The girl that waited on me said my order was ready and when she was bringing it to me she dropped my fries on the floor, she then walked over the fries numerous times and around them while I waited then she picked them up and told me she was going to get me fresh fries. She then picked up the fries in the box and went in the back and I could see her get a new box but couldnt tell if she put the same fries that were on the floor in the new box. If that is the case I will never go back to Long John Silvers again. I would like to be contacted seeing how none of the corporate phone numbers work and neither does the store number.
10/25/12 I was in Long Johns today. I ordered fish, coleslaw and your new onion rings. The coleslaw was very coarse and dry the onion rings was onion pads and terrible. The onion rings was not separated but cut thick and dipped in your batter, they were the worst onion rings I have ever had. Also some employees came in or family of your employees and were very very loud and went behind the counter and got 4 paper cups and went and help themselves to the drinks and was screaming and laughing and causing a lot of noise. There needs to be a visit made by someone at corporate and the making of those onion rings need to improve as far as I am concerned they were not made WITH LOVE.

BUT TODAY WOULD BE THE LAST TIME I PUT A FEET IN LONG JONHS!!!~.~ I HAD THE WORSE EXPERIENCE EVER THEIR SERVICE IS THE ONE OF THE WORSE!! & EMPLOYEES TOOK FOREVER TO ADKNOWLEGE US, EMPLOYEES WERE TOO BUSY HORSING AROUND WITH EACH-OTHER!!!!
I was very unhappy with my experience today at the Long John silvers in Bloomington IL for 6.35 includes tax I received 5 onion rings and 2 very small size of finger chicken strips and they were very dry and 2 hushpuppies and not a single napkin. For the money I felt the quality and amount was terrible.
Being a former unit manager of Long John Silvers in Asheville, Nc., i beleive that the prices are getting a little high for what food you receive. $5.39 for 2 small chicken planks, 5 onion rings, a drink and 2 hush puppies - you can do better than that and still make money. This food was at your Brevard Rd. location here in asheville. I was very disapointed in the amount of food i received for the price. This meal could be served for $3.99 and you still would be making money and have a lot more service in doing so.
I WILL NEVER EAT AT Long John Silvers AGAIN!!!! I just got over Food Poisoning from them! That was from there store in Fort Douge, IOWA. So Never ADAIN! I had the shrimp skappey and rice and 24 hours later was vary sick.
i was eating at the long johns silvers on 40hwy in kcmo and had the fish and found fish bones while eating it and cut my mouth and told the workers there about it and they said there fish dose not have bones in it and made me out to be a lier untill one of the other customers found some to in there fish still didnot say sorry or anything. asked me if i wanted my money back or more food try to contact main office for some answers there phone is always busy.still waiting for that sorry about thatfish .
Clovis, CA LJS--Two couples, two separate orders after church 11/4/12. Both orders messed up, had to wait for one to be corrected, the other was delivered wrong, then had to wait for the correct order. Overcharged as well. Had to clean our own table, place a mess. Other customers taking food back to get order corrected as well. This location has always had trouble since it was rebuilt as an A&W/LJS several years ago. Wonder how they stay in business. Not sure if we will go back any time soon.
