The Morse Rd. Branch manager out of Columbus, Ohio is not treating the employees with any respect what so ever. She has cost me lost hours and money for not showing up to give me my work ticket, or shows up late. This has happened over and over, not only with me but other workers also. She's rude and uncaring about her job. Today after working 8 hours in 97 degree weather,shoveling gravel with the humidity at 100%...at the end of the day when I went to pick up my check, she had made an error on my check, when I pointed it out, she ripped the check out of my hand and wrote void all over it, and said to come back tomorrow. (Tomorrow, being Sunday, which just so happens to be a day when she NEVER shows up regardless) So now it being a holiday weekend I have no money and have worked hard. With the economy the way it is, I don't want to get into a confrontation with her and her give me a DNR slip. So I shook my head and walked away. These things are happening on a daily basis...she is very rude and disrespectful. I need this work, but I sure don't need the attitude. It's hard enough as it is. She needs to go work in a prison somewhere...she would fit in nicely. Her name is Latisha and she really needs to learn some manners or work in a job where she doesn't work with or near people.

I worked over 3 years at one branch and was working no less than 30 hours a week and I have done alot of jobs a "jack of all trades" after the years at that branch and i moved and went to a new branch and they play favorites i get there at 4:30am to be one of the first in line and they jump over my name and I don't go out and i ask why and they say "they send out the best person for the job" and I have worked a few of the places the wont send me like Trident Seafood through the other branch so I get lucky to get 1 job a month now I have never "no call no show" or left early on a job

can labor ready hold a check from someone for over 2 weeks? when you are making an effort everyday to obtain your money you worked for?

i have worked for labor ready for about 10 years off and on in the mid west milwaukee, appleton and other parts of wi. Well i go to the labor ready in Pawtucket ri and they tell me u have to make an appointment just to fill out an application so i call them and she tells me 6 am and you have to whear steal toe boots just to watch the safety video WOW i mean what the hell do you think im gonna do drop thje vhs video on my foot haha unbeleavable

Hi my name is Charles Stump and i work at the Labor Ready on Valley Pike in Dayton Ohio and i go in every morning at 530 im there before the actual employees anyways the whole thing is they told me to be there first to make sure i get a job well thats a lie all they do there is pick their favorites and then just thirty minutes ago i asked Dominique what the problem was and he said he had 2 jobs i was at last week didnt like my work... well that was a lie cause i didnt even work two jobs last week then he preceeds to say its who is best fit for the job well thats a lie cause they sent out a old man and a 350 pound narcoleptic guy on a job i was just on friday but if they complain why the hell would they ask for me to return to work it just makes no sense so after all the lies i said well im going you can call if you want theres nothing more i can do and he says okay thank you chris have a good day...my name isnt Chris!!!!!!!!!!

I have been traveling to each labor ready to see if they are obeying procedures and policies. They are not. This was my last stop. The labor ready in Wimlington, North Carolina is a waste of time and gas, as was all of the others I have been to. The office individuals are unprofessional, rude, and never open on time like the sign says. The sign says "open at 5:30 a.m." Then why do the doors not open until 6 or 6:30? Why do they send only the same people out that "flirt" with the females in this office and not the individuals who are their on time everyday and are courteous and patient? I am an individual who is not broke, nor do I need the work. I am one who is fed up with people who take advantage of the system and have lawyers already in place to help put a stop to things like this. For those who have complained in previous posts, your justice will be coming soon. This is a warning and your only opportunity to get qualified individuals in your offices who are their to help people who need the help. I could post more about the others, but would be here for a week or two typing things about them. If not longer. Enough is enough. Last chance.

I'm a person who speaks his mind so hear goes ;First off I worked for labor ready for a couple years. I recently went back there were still people in there who were openly talking about purchasing crack. They told me my records were gone so I had to reapply. They make you take a survey( after they get your license and social security number) which has to do with drugs and fighting. I do neither and so my answer is i dont do drugs or fighting. They told me I'm not qualified to work there.I then ask for a number to see what my survey results had to do with it . I get numbers to fax machines and the survey company is third party to whom they sent my personal information who in turn will not give you your results or an y information they said we have no righjts to them . I'm going to put this frankly (If anything comes up on my credit I will be forced to take action by any means neccessary so for labor ready i never fail at anything i'm determined to accomplish so I'd be on high alert because it has just begun smontnus

Look somebody needs to do something about to scandelous women they have at labor ready in florence SC they are in constant bicker to any employer that one decides to go and find on there own I just got hire and fired the same day because I told them about a job I had just got.I believe Its a matter of time I truely believe they are gonna pay. Your branch in Castleton/Indianapolis,Indiana needs the workers to go through a customer serivice training course! The black female Tracy is RUDE to the customers! She won't help like she should,she just tells you to sit down she's not ready for you yet! After filling out an application and tax papers,she was rude to me in telling me I filled out something wrong on the application and tax papers, and would snap back at me when I tried to explain something or ask a question. She told me if I had any questions to ask her. Yet when I tried, she wouldn't listen and would walk away and start multi-tasking dealing with somebody else's application. Great employee! Not even able to talk directly and listen to the customer trying to apply for a job,their questions?! She needs proper training,due to what I saw,she didn't get any at all. Tracy is rude,and was running around multi-tasking like a rabbit with its head cut off,get your employees straightened out because I'm not the only one who has The Freedom of Speech with our First Amendment,and I'm sure many more are yet to encounter Tracy's rudeness towards potential new applicants and her unwilingness to listen to the applicants without walking away dealing with somebody else's application,and snapping back them! Since I was rude to by Tracy,I will be using my Freedom of Speech to alert others to not go there. She doesn't treat people with respect and I will not,and would not want to,nor think anybody else would want to deal with or work for somebody who is not respectful to them. You seriously need to get Tracy out of there and hire somebody nice who actually cares about others!

To whom it may concern, I have worked for Labor Ready for over five years, I feel that the Labor Ready in West Sacramento, California is playing favortism in the office sending out their favorite workers and ignoring the ones that come in day to day at 5:30am. The branch manager for this Labor Ready is Daryll Minor. He has wrongfully terminated a few employees for no apparent reason please have someone contact me as soon as possible (916)910-3726

On Thanksgiving Day, 2010 I was asked to work for Labor ready in Dover, NJ by KEN the office manager and the Dispatcher KIM to buy black pants for this job at Wal-Mart. I have been dealing with him for some time, trying to keep my money in my pocket. I was going to work black Friday @ Wal-Mart a locating close to my home. When arriving to work that night cutting the family time on a holiday. I was told that the location had be changed, somewhere 50 miles away, knowing that I don't drive. Since I couldn't do this, they told me that I have been banned from Labor Ready, Just because I couldn't go to work that far, They now are bullsh*tting with my w2 form I have been calling the office, manage Ken has hung up on me several times, curse me, be little me and I still don't have my w2 form. As of February 14 2011, I called still no w2 form has been mailed to me. This office located on Basset highway, Dover New Jersey, need to shut down. The office manager Ken, and both dispatcher need to be educate on how to treat people and there job. They are the worst to be in a professional environment. That locating in Dover, NJ need to close down, or hire the correct people to over see it. It’s a circus.

I have experienced retaliation for filing a concern through the Hotline. After a dispute over my pay for cleaning the branch office, I filed a complaint. Since then I have yet to get any job assignments.Several people have alerted me to assignments, and when I call I get the run-around. I have filed numerous follow-up complaints with a perfunctuary response.I have been registered with Labor Ready for years and performs each assignment very satisfactory. i have tried discussing the issue with the branch manager but he has yet to return my calls.
