This is to everyone on this page. Before you judge and start to point fingers, remember one thing! PerceptIon is everything. Certain jobs require certain requirements while others are not so sensitive. Private residents and schools are highly sensitive projects, thus require high level backgrounds and ua's. Digging jobs don't. As for having ex cons, we believe in second chances and teaching. Everyone has a family. Those of you pointing figures and judging others for poor mistakes they made that they are trying to fix are extremely messed up. We all make mistakes and no one shut us in closets and made us wear neon signs stating our faults. There is redemption. Please remember when you persecute someone you will receive it ten fold!!!! As for staff, that is unfortunate and I need everyone to know that we aren't all the same. However on that note, we have privacy laws to follow and FYI if we weren't a good company Forbes magazine wouldn't have voted us number one company in the nation in 2010. But, if you hate labor ready so much, there's always command staffing. ;)

I worked for the Labor Ready in york, Pa, and the one in Harrisburg, Pa. The York office has much more work, but the obese lady Heather that runs the office has an attitude, and is really rude to some of the workers, raising her voice a lot. The man in Harrisburg, Vaughn, is a lot nicer but they dont have as much work.

Labor Ready in Syracuse NY is run by an incompetant jerk named Dionne and his assisitant Esther is worse.I have been taken out of work by my doctor for a neck injurey and they are Refusing to send any paperwork in for me, so now I just do not get any money. I have been at their office several times, called, faxed, NOTHING!! They sit there and laugh at you. Lie and say they will send the paperwork to my insurance company and then of course do not. I have had to resort to my lawyer advising them that they are in violation of the law and still nothing. They are the Rudest,most ignorant people I have ever met. I would NEVER work though them again, and will and have told anyone I know not to go there.

I've been going to the office in Frederick Maryland for 7 months and have been sent out 2 1/2 days total.The last job was for 4 hours moving furniture 3 1/2 months ago.Now the other day (as many) I complained about not being sent out.Felishsha <spelling> said I called you one day and you refused. Well I had no way to get there.She called me at 12:05 pm. So I guess I've been black balled all this time and nothing was said to me.I'm up every morning at 4am and walk 1 mile to the office to look for work and get NOTHING! Just the other day she asked this crack head if he wanted to go out on a 4 hour moving ticket and he passed it up. I was standing right next to him and she didn't ask me.Instead she woke up some dude who was passed out in a chair and sent him out. I find this VERY UNPROFESSIONAL, RUDE, and words I'd rather not say.I'm a Carpenter of 35 years Exp.and I frame, trim,roof, siding,title floors,renovate houses.I think I know how to move furnitue and even push a broom.I've read some of these posts and it seems I'm not the only one having trouble.

I worked for Labor ready Stratford New jersey branch where I was dispacthed dam near every day with out Incident under the advise of a waste management supervisor I went to the pennsaunken branch which was much closer to my home in order to be closer to my temp job. So I go to the branch at 6015 S.Cresent blvd. and do a favor for David Solomin and cover a "contruction clean up instaed of doing waste managment,I started the job 1-2-12 because a worker did not want to dig a hole i am 44 years old an not afraid of work of any kind ,anywayfriday comes around and I amdoing my clean-up and run across about 8 peices of various plumbers parts that were simply laying around on the floor with the rest of the debri left behind by the contractors so i seperated the trash and parts and placed them in a bucket now the guy that I rode in with all weel "Punk Mother fucker" was collecting the scrap on the site with the permission of the foreman so at the end of the day i bring this bucket to the vehicle and after closer examination it was determined that that parts may still be good and of use so I put them back inside the building in the plumbers area and went home.This was on friday 1-6-12 Now i report to the same job on monday for RPC constructionnow today is 1-9-12 i worked about 4.5 hrs and suddenly the other foreman (there were 4 of them on the jobsite ) came to me an said that the plumber was missing some stuff he left laying about on friday (I guess because it was pay day thats why they did not bother to clean up after themselves)any and they said you took it! I said fisrt of all I dont have a car secound of all I did not take shit its in that bucket over there I walked him and the plumber to the bucket the pumber examined everything and it was there in my face and the foremans . he says ok no more scraping I difd nort care because I was not any way the guy I rode with was so any how he tells me to call the office they suddenly tell me to leave the site so i shook the foremans hand and I walk from nj turnpike entrance on rt.73 to labor ready on rt.130 about 15 miles got my 4.5 hrs pay and then recieved a call that I was Nationaly terminated from labor ready for misconduct and I ghave worked for them almost 3 fucking years with incident until now! they fucking suck I filed for unemployment I did not remove anything from the site or rather steal so what the fuck did I get fierd for? some body tell me?

I've done work for allot of temp services and this is by far the worst I have ever worked for. The pay is terrable barely over min. Wage. The employees. Are treated like garbage...... this is not the company you want to spend your money with. Places like this (the mobile Alabama office) have nothing but drunks and junkies working for them. Prime example why..... I was unable to make it to work 1 day last week.... I was in the hospital with pneumonia .....showed them my paperwork.... and they suspended me for 2 weeks..... we are lucky to make 250 a week....... I can't go 2 more weeks without work after being sick for a week and a half........ I'm going to lose my apartment more than likely......... this is how good employees are treated here...... I have over 15 years construction experience. And have never had a bad report nor have I ever been fired from a ticket....... I will never set foot in another labor ready as long as I live. I will also be seeking legal action for wrongfully termination c you in court labor ready

I work at Labor Ready and experienced all the things people say here. Labor Ready over looks some people for simple good business sense , tax breaks for hireing convicts and the HIRE act that lets businesses forego paying the 6-1/2 percent social security tax. They don't just treat employees like crap they treat everyone like crap.

I had been contacted by labor ready to use their services on construction projects in MA. The rep who contacted me assured me that all safety training is provided, all background checks conducted, and all drug testing complete. I never used them however recently a contact of mine went to work for 1 day at labor ready. He was given no training, nor we're the other 3 people on his crew. Two of the three required my contacts assistance with their hard hats. 1 of the workers wore an ankle monitoring bracelet. The two that did not took regular breaks on the job site and were seen sniffing "bath salts" together, all while on the client site. Had I not seen the pictures my friend took on his phone, or the video, I never would have known about this. The rep outright lied to me in his attempt to sell services, and in doing so he is putting his client company at great risk

Well its obvious Labor Ready is over due.Its time they get sued. Calif Labor Code:2800 indicates supervisors are required to show due care.Calif Labor Code:2800.Calif Labor Code:2924 ,for an act to be an act ,it must be proven that the act was wilful and deliberate with motive and intent.Susan of City of Industry was promoted to work at the corporate office.She is a liar and fabricates the facts.Her friend from Lamps Plus ,Walnut Calif ,looked at me very vindictively.He was upset I mopped the floor. He grabed a plastic trash can lid.He then looked at me and said,"Don't F with me I used to be a cop".Susan posted a blog.That he and I had a verbal altercation. Next I was working at Office Depot ,City of Industry,Calif.The floor manager :Mike Holfkoa had myself going down a shoot to unclog it.All I asked this god in his own mind,"Is there a safer way to unclog the machine"? Then he had this obeast female following me around for most of the shift in a warehouse type of equipment.The end of the shift he tried to short me some hours. I pointed out his clerical error.I had to go the very next day to get paid.Susan of City of Industry refused to want to pay me. She is described as a fat female white adult.She used to wear blond hair.Now its red.She looks like a very fat witch with out a broom.Plus she does'nt need a mask,she wears it year round.That day she refused to give me a copy of my time sheet.Calif Labor 432.Indicates any employee thats signs any instrument is allowed to have a copy of it.So I called the security guard that was working the night before to show as evidence the hours I worked.He was on the phone validating my hours worked.She grabed the phone and hung up on the guard.So I borrowed the sign in sheet .Concerned about getting paid,I needed evidence to take to the labor commisioner.So I borrowed the sign in sheet made my copy.Then brought it back.She then paid me.She had a witness she claims on her Labor Ready blog she posted.With permission from the corporate office.Two blogs : One for a verbal altercation at Lamps Plus.Next for stealing company property.It was borrowed and brought back.The corporate liked her so much they promoted her.The new manager refused to allow me to get work at Labor Ready ; City of Industry ,Calif .So have been baned since 2003.Next I had this gentle man named Will at the Labor Ready Costa Mesa.I filed numorous complaints on him.I never lied.He would sent out those he only liked.I filed with Consumer Affairs,True Blue and the EEOC in Washington D.C.They finally booted his empty suite to Arizona. The other empty suite that finaly got the boot was this male white adult. His name was Dan.They kicked his biased white racist butt out of Santa Ana ,Calif.The Latinos there let him know his racist trash was'nt tolerated.In so many nice words. Finaly the crew in Stanton kept filing complaints on this empty suite.Now he is finaly kicked out permanatly from Labor Ready ,Stanton Calif.Chaulk one thumbs up for the crew down at Labor Ready Stanton. So chaulk one thumbs up for the crew in Costa Mesa,Calif.The none stop complaints on Will finally paid off.Seems like he left some dirt behind.Me Me and Cathy.The only ones that like them are those that get sent out.Steve of Fullerton ,Calif is a real empty suite.The crew talk about his favortisim.The crew talk about he used to be a Los Angeles Sherriff.However was kicked off the job for being a drunk.Yet Fullerton cops hang out with him at the Labor Ready.They been in the news for beating up a homeless man.Six on one. Hope the crew at Labor Ready Fullerton file tons of complaints on Steve.He was the branch manager. He is an empty suite ,taking up space. He falsly accused me of leaving a job. When I asked the idiot if I had forknowledge it was a garanteed more then eight hours.He yelled ;"Get out of here"!I wrote him up. Plus let him know it.Recently noticed the obeast thing Susan.She now has red hair. She was showing the trash at Labor Ready ,Costa Mesa,Calif the ropes.Today went to Labor Ready in Westminister Calif. The customer service representative : Daniel Torress Martinez,made me take the online survey again that I past the first time back in 2000. I simply asked him for the safety test. Yet he indicated I failed it.Note: I don't use drugs,don't come to work looking for fights,don't steal,.Yet when I asked this arogant ,scarcastic thing a few questions not clear. His response was:" I'm sorry ,I can't help you."Note:This is his job is to show due care,Calif Labor Code:2800. Shawna of True Blue backed up Susan from City of Industry. She found nothing wrong in the blogs of fabricated facts from Susan.Shawna is a company lap dog. Maybe Susan does the owner and the co executives.Would she be willing to take a ploygragh with out shoes , a blood test first and urine test.This while being filmed on You Tube ,with a press conference ? All I can say is wow! It seems like no matter which Labor Ready you are employed at or in what state does not matter. It sounds like its a family owned business from what I am reading in these complaints. There couldn't possibly be that many ignorant, unprofessional individuals in this world that are not related. At the Dolton office in Chicago Illinois is exactly the same. There are so rude, they are not trying to find jobs at all, only trying to shop or pay bills on line. Its a great day when anyone is on time. I read the comment from the wife of the drug addict and where we are at, there is drug testing, its just a test from walgreens that you have to submitt to in the office with no medical staffing only the miminum wage female that has no problem handling unrine from a stranger. (how unsanitary is that) We have called and complained to many many people and have gotten no where! If anyone has filed a complaint that has been addressed and taken care of please post. These are only some of the complaints that we have had to deal with. The American public has such a problem with unemployment, food stamps, and public aide but they don't realize there are men and women willing to go stand in line at 5 am like cattle to literally beg for some daily work to take care of their family. Why dosen't someone address this? Maybe some of these so called managers should know what it feels like to be unemployed and standing outside waiting for a job. If enough people keep complaining something should be done. If there were no people comming in to try and get work then they would be forced to shut down, wouldn't that be something to talk about!

If you are not FLIRTING with them or SLEEPING with them then forget going in there to get a job. They will just by pass you and have excuses with they are not sending you out. SUSAN AND CRYSTAL sent a guy to Wal-Mart Port Angeles who went there drunk and then bought beer on his break and drank and then went to sleep in a cart. Wal-Mart had to call SUSAN in the middle of the night to come and pick that guy up. These are the types of people they send out to jobs not the ones that are trying to make a living and willing to work and do a good job. The only good person there at the Bremerton location that does a good job and is caring and willing to help everyone is COREY. They need to get SUSAN and CRYSTAL out of there and let COREY run the place and hire good people that care about those that come in and want to work to make a living and not just fast money for DRUGS......... I think that these company's that call for temp help should be able to feel safe and that no one will get hurt, do drugs while working or steal from the company. GET SUSAN AND CRYSTAL OUT OF THERE. THEY SUCK AND ARE BITCHES. Sleep with them and you will be in and get all the jobs you want so you can get money to buy more DRUGS...........

Hi, my complaint is about labor ready in kissmmee st cloud florida .First time ever there to get a job.We waited thirty min outside in the heat for the doors to be unlocked haveing an appiontment allready with them just to get in the doors . Then we get an aapointment to take an osha test fourteen days later , upon getting there having an appointment again and eight mins late do to traffic conditions , were asked by an employee if we even had an appoinments ,had defanilty upset me to start and then tells me im sorry but i have to rescedule you until seven teen days later has me very appalled at it all.I feel that company is not organized and I payed for someones laziness to not even want to go thru paperwork to see if iI had an appointment to begin with. So im now sufferring with no job and loads of bills , someone please you need to take command and chew some but up . As this is not fair to people who dont want to be on foodstamps and unemployment,and want to work.

Your Clarimount office in Atlanta Georgia, sucks and is extremly nasty on the inside of the place. The customer service is horrible. I am already in your system, but wanted to start attending a new branch closer to my home. I was told to come in at 5.30am in the morning to fill out an appilcation, after arriving by bus by 6am I given a pre application,sat awhile then told I need to make an appointment to come back to fill out an application or come back between 9-10 am. I informed them I was on the BUS. So, agreed by both parties that I could/would return by 3:30pm that same afternoon to fill out an application, only to be told at 3:50 pm that I would have to come back by an appointment on tuesday, and the current day was thurs, to fill out an application. Apprently, the staff at labor ready do not know how to mulititask while just printing tickets. All the staff had to do is hand me an application to fill out. All of the other forms are already in the system. Hire some customer friendly people to work for Labor Ready, who know how to mulitask, not run the office ghetto, and have a clean facility for the clients and employees to come into. The staff didnt even know if I was from corp or not. Just very unprofessional in appearance of the staff, and representation of the company in doors. Just nasty! Time to clean house! Go over there under cover (send a woman) and see what you discover. Clean House!

today labor ready contacted me as i have had no luck finding a job at all well to make the long story short on this page they rang my phone but i was using the restroom as i never take the phone to the bathroom with me anywayz so i called them back they never left any message so when the lady answered the phone she said were sorry we needed someone to work asap so we filled the position now im :( i been out of work for 2 years now so they should at least leave a message and dont expect people to go to work right away and then no notice what so ever

I am not happy with the office help in Leominster, MA. The staff there is not the right people in there i have been working there for over a year and when I refer someone else there they stop sending me out and started sending that person out and they have been screwing me out of jobs. I used to work for a call center at Labor Ready headquarters full-time. All of the things you are saying about poor management is 100% true. LR you should be ashamed of yourselves for all of these posts. Run your business right and clean house. These people deserve to be treated like people. Its not our fault that your corporate managers hate their jobs. They still need to DO them.
