I Read all of the complaints about Kmart ..did any one get results as far as being treated with respect? has Kmart responded to any of the complaints? ..I am not a Walmart Fan trying to stick with Kmart But now I am afraid to Deal with Kmart because of Bad press ..Why hasn't this gone to the media and maybe just maybe Kmart will take the complaints serious..someone please let me know if I should do my Christmas shopping at Kmart.. so far Kmart is not my favorite smart place to shop!

i made a layway order online for kmart to get a sony camcorder done this on a saturday oct.9,2010 and on sunday 10-10-10 i got 2 emails that it was cancelled per your store or whom ever handles the online layway orders. i am still waiting for my refund of $32.76 from the payment that was taken from my credit the day i placed the layway on line. and have called the 877 number and the store and have gotten nothing but the run around on why the order 1 was cancelled and 2 where my refund is. i will never shop at kmart or any of they other stores........very upset.

3 weeks ago i went to one of your stores to buy a Wii.so i could get my reward points.$199.00 + tax & ins.i waited 45 min.for someone to help me.i went back & forth to c.s desk.wait for this.wait for that.i asked for a manager got nothing.when i said walmart will take my money,they took someone off a ck.out.to help me.then he could not find the keys.so i left & went to walmart.in less then 5 mins. i had my Wii.KMART thanks for nothing.i have not gone back to that store again.

Went to kmart in Waukegan to return a gift, it was a pair of pants, all I wanted was store credit cause it didn't fit!!! The employee's and corporate office was rude and was unable to satisfy my needs, I myself will never return and will never recommend any family or friends to go there!!! Walmart will now get all my business !!

I would give it ZERO stars but it would not let me. Kmart has really shocked me with how much they DO NOT CARE about their customers!!! I placed an order online for store pick up and PAID in advance. My confirmation email stated I would receive an email from the store telling me when I could pick up my items totaling nearly $200. They were out of stock online so I did the store pick up. I never received an email from the store. I called them and from minute ONE they acted as though I was a complete inconvenience. I called to confirm I had an order for pick up. After being on hold for 15 min. the "customer serv" rep let me know in a very hateful tone that the store did not have all of my order only part of it. I told her I would pick up what they had. She was SO RUDE and basically refused to answer any questions on the phone as in "What part of the order is available and what isn't?" she told me to just come in and see for myself. It was a 25 minute drive and it was possible that I might not be able to use the part of the order that was there. I decide to take the risk and drive there, I stood there for THIRTY minutes waiting on my PRE PAID order only for her to tell me they restocked it since they could not complete all of the order. She made NO apologies, she did not care. The manager did not care. This is the Kmart in CONWAY SC . I live in Myrtle Beach SC. -- Kmart is HORRIBLE and I Don't care if i have to pay MORE elsewhere, they will never get another penny of my money. I hope they go belly up. (not that they would care).

Today I was shopping at Kmart in Shillington, PA. I left the store and in the parking lot saw a vehicle w/ windows all closed and a dog inside a hot car panting overtime. I asked Heather at Customer Service if they could page the owner, She stated " NO, we are not allowed, you will need to call the police." Which I did...but I am NOT happy with KMART if this is their policy. If it were a human being passed out for whatever reason in a idling vehicle , doors locked and windows up, would they still basically tell me, NOT THEIR PROBLEM? Better yet, if someone was injured outside their door, would they refuse to call 911 for help and tell the injured party they are not allowed to do so? But they can tell announce to someone their auto lights are on in the parking lot? Please would someone explain the logic of it all? This may have been the last day for me to ever do business with KMART. They just see a human being and animal as another dollar sign and brush them away after. This is the first place I ever have heard such nonsense from when it came to helping to save the life of an animal or human being. SHAME ON YOU KMART!

Kmart store management trying to sell you Kmart Smart Plan (replacement and service) by telling wrong explanation how it works, when started and ended. … I got situation when assistant of store manager, Anthony (store 3051, Warminster, PA), during my store visit offered me to buy Kmart Smart Plan to protect my purchase and on my request provided me with information about this plan which is brought me to decision to buy product (46" TV) and plan. Next day I called to Kmart Smart Plan customer service and got completely different explanation how the plan works. The information provided by Anthony was completely wrong. Then I came back to the store again and asked Anthony on front of store manager, Paul, explain me again how the plan works. Explanation was wrong again and Paul's comments were wrong too. So, Anthony and Paul selling this product without any understanding how plan works, what advantages and disadvantages customers can receive. Their only one goal is to sell this product to as many customers as they can by providing wrong info. Customer care department does not want to react for this situation, cover asses of store management and asked you to call Kmart Smart Plan customer service when the plan is not started yet. Attention!! Do NOT buy Kmart Smart Plan unless you sure you know how it works and you really need it. Do NOT believe Kmart's personnel. Their goal is to sell you free air. Most of credit cards offered you additional warranty protection for free. Kmart customer care department is working against customers. Customers for Kmart are nothing and that is why store managers can treat and abuse customers as they want. Try to Ignore Kmart stores.

I was denied service and left standing at the counter by an employee and manager, after I asked three different employees for a manager. This happened at your Martinez, Ga. store. What a poor representation of your company.

I puchased a ring for my wife about May 2010 AT A Kmart store in Fontana,Ca. About a month and a half later one of the small diamonds fell out. I reurned the item and was told that I needed to go to customer service get a refund and then re-purchase the ring. I did that but they did not have another ring so it had to be ordered. This took plcae on July 10th ,2010 and it stated on the reorder form that it would take four to six weeks to arrive. Well it is now September 21st 2010 and still no ring. I went to the store to inquire several time which is an inconvienece because of the time and gas it takes to go there. Anyway after hearing the same old story 'we will call first thing tomorrow morming" I asked to speak to the manager I explained the situation and stated to him that if I had to wait 4 to 6 weeks toget the ring I expected a discount. He was not willing to do this and was very unsensative so needless to say Kmart has lost another customer PS dont't shop Fontana K-Mart

Just returned from yet another KMart to find it has changed it's look/quality/product lines for ladies clothing..............what a dissapointment to find it has been downgraded to cheap and junkie. While standing there trying to find something as simple as a black scoop tee which I have always been able to find in the Route 66 line, all that was there was inferior quality tee's. Another customer nearby commented to me, " Kind of junklie stuff, huh?" KMart always stood for good value for a degree of quality and style. It is diappointing to see KMart go away. It was the one store I could always count on to find exactly what I needed no matter what deparment I was in. Seems they are clearing out the old and bringing in the new. One thing for certain, this old customer will not be coming back for any of the new. GOOD BYE KMART!

I was recently at the KMART in Bridgeville, PA. The manager, Ben, was very unprofessional and disrespectful. I will NOT be going back to this store because of this manager.It's too bad they have good employees in their store with such a horrible manager.

i was told by a kmart employee that a phone card i purchased for my mother ( 85th birthday )was the correct one to use for her home phone. it turned out that the employee was wrong and when i called the store, i was told they would exchange it. when my mother got to the store the next day, the manager refused to exchange the card and said they would be out $20 if they did that. i guess it's best to have the customer out the $20. i would have taken the loss if it would have been my fault, but it was not. i had asked the employee quite a few times if it was ok for her home phone and they said yes. so there was no misunderstanding. i called your corporate office and they straightened everything out with an apology!! the girl was great. i wish i would have gotten her name. thank you kmart corporate customer service!

I WAS RECENTLY AT KMART IN PUYALLUP WASHINGTON AND BOUGHT A FLANNEL SHIRT AND OTHER THINGS WELL THE SHIRT WAS TO BIG AND HAD A SNAG ON THE SLEEVE SO I WAS GOING TO KENT WASHINGTON TO THE DOCTOR NEXT DAY AND DECIDED TO RETURN IT AT THE KMART THERE, I HAD THE RECIEPT AND ALL AND THE ????? GAVE ME A STORE GIFT CARD INSTEAD OF MY MONEY BACK IT WAS TAKEN OUT ON GEBIT AND HAD ALREADY CLEARED MY BANK AND THEY GAVE ME A DAMN GIFT CARD,DEBIT IS ACASH TRANSACTION IT IS DEDUCTED IMMEDIATLY OUT OF YOUR ACCOUNT SO THAT MADE ME MAD ENOUGH TO NEVER RETURN THERE I AM NOT HAPPY WITH THE WAY THE WOMAN TREATED ME LIKE SHE USE TO TRY AND RETURN THINGS AND BECAUSE SHE GOT TREATED LIKE ---- SHE HAD TO TAKE IT OUT ON ME AND I USE TO WORK AT THIS SPECIFIC STORE NEVER AGAIN.

I RECENTLY BROUGHT A PRESCRIPTION IN TO BE TRANSFERRED FROM ANOTHER LOCAL DRUG STORE. YOU'LL ADVERTISE TO GIVE THE CUSTOMER UP TO $25.00 GIFT CARD (DEPENDING ON THE PRICE OF YOUR PRESCRIPTION, IT CAN'T EXCEED THE PRICE). THEY WOULD NOT GIVE ME THE GIFT CARD. THEY SAID I HAD TRANSFERRED THAT SAME MEDICINE (DIFFERENT PRESCRIPTION) THERE BEFORE. IT DOESN'T SAY THAT ON YOUR COUPON. I WASTED TIME SHOPPING AROUND WAITING FOR THEM TO FILL THE PRESCRIPTION (WHICH THEY DIDN'T). I WENT BACK OVER TO THE COUNTER TO INQUIRE IF IT WAS READY FOR PICK-UP . THEY DIDN'T CALL MY NAME OUT TO ASK ME TO COME BACK THERE TO DISCUSS WHETHER I WANTED IT FILLED OR NOT. I ASK THEM SINCE WHEN IS THIS A POLICY. THEY COULDN'T ANSWER THAT QUESTION. I WOULD LIKE TO GET FEEDBACK ABOUT THIS. I'D APPRECIATE IF SOMEONE FROM CORPORATE COULD EXPLAIN TO ME WHY I COULDN'T RECEIVE A GIFT CARD. I FEEL AS THOUGH MY TIME, ENERGY AND GASOLINE WAS WASTED. I ordered two items online and one of the item wasn`t in stock. I spent about an hour finding the products, typing order forms, etc. Received a conformation telephone call that the order was being processed. I found out from my PayPal account that I had a refund from Kmart that one of my items were not in stock. It should be very simple to keep your web pages UP-TO-DATE at all times. I will not order from Kmart again!! I agree with Ed Pingree, your organization SUCKS!

well i have shopped at the k-mart in las vegas on bonanza road for many years, and wednesday the 8th of september my son went to put application in at the store, and because his ex-girl friend works there the manage called the cops and him removed from the property and all k-marts in las vegas nevada, he never spoke to her, he was just there to put app in to get a job. if this how the store is ran then i will never shop there again, or will i have my friends and family go there either, i hope you can resolve this problem, in a timely manner, because i have a layaway there. sincerely yours maryanne

My wife worked for K-Mart for 12 years,12 years too long, and she has retired. Her huge pension from K-Mart is supposed to be $22.oo a mouth. She has been trying to get them to start issuing the monthly checks for 4 months now and all she gets is a promise that the "checks in the mail" from their plan administrator . It has now just become a matter of principle to get it from them. Also all their profit sharing money from working was lost after the bankruptcy and yet the ceo at the time walked off with $20 million. They truly suck!

kmart sucks! i never shop there n all the kmarts where i live look trashy n like their on their last leg but 2 my surprise they had the best price on a particular plasma i wanted so i gave them my money... y'd i do that? outta 3 supposedly customer service reps 3 mgrs. n 2 lay a way cashiers i dealt with, only 2 of those employees were nice did their job thoroughly n at least acted happy 2 b there. hell i really think the head mgr. was drunk r on somethin but all i can say is never again kmart!

Hi, I'm a very disappointed grandmother,who is planning a birthday party for my grandson, after shopping on line i discovered that KMART'S sold and had in store stock BATMAN costume for my grandson birthday party, However after calling 4 different store in the 07105 area(West Orange, Kearny, Belliville, etc. I was told that the store didn't have them in stock. I was wondering why KMART advertise that they are in the stores, when indeed is not ture. I received a number to call KMART Headquater's which rang for several minutes and than a busy singal. I just want to know if you carry the item, if so what store can I go to and pick it up TODAY. GRANNY AD

i woke up, seen on tv, my mayors proposed budget, many of our poorest communities have no local retail stores, in fact on our minneapolis area, north, and south residents, use our local Kmart , the only retail store in 20 mile radius of mall of america, its convenient and many residents dont have to go else where for goods, food, and shopping!!! my mayor wants the LAND, he wants to take out KMART, for personal reasons, not community ! we need our KMART!!! if this gets to corporate, please tell them that the community needs our Kmart, and were very fortunate to have this store!!!! Lake street, KMART, minneapolis minnesota.Please keep our KMART!!!the mayor is wrong to take out our retail store, many of us dont have cars or transportation, to get to other stores, many families walk to and from this store!!!tell our mayor NO!!!
