To bad you cannot put down a 1/2 or NO Star. We purchased some items at Kmart in Grand Forks ND in November and put them on lay away. This was a large dollar amount, but no one cares, I'm wong on this one, only KMART cares about the BIG BUCKS they make. I wanted a price adjustment as the same amount on the Flyer that came out today in the local newspaper, and was told after being on hold by a rude person and also a section manager,(who could care less) is that we do not make price adjustments on anything on Black Firday or the Thanksgiving sale. If I took the item back I would probaly get the sale price with a re-stocking of 10% and then risk not picking up the item for my 4 year old grandson for Christmas. Now I know better than to shop at KMART and drive 90 miles to another WALMART and give them my money, than spend any more money at KMART. You have just lost another person and my family to Target and WALMMART where they will work with you. With todays economy I can see who the money grubers are and that is at the corp level. i HAVE NEVER BEEN SO UPSET LIKE I AM THIS YEAR. EVERY YEAR YOU GUYS PUT IN THE PAPER THINGS AND ITEMS YOU GUYS HAVE ON SALE YOU SHOW PICTURES OF AFRICAN DOLLS THAT CAN BE BROUGHT AND NOT ONE TIME HAVE I BEEN ABLE TO GO TO THE STORE AND FIND ANY OF THEM ITEMS I NEED. I ASK MANAGERS AND THEY LOOK IT UP IN THERE SYSTEM AND SAY NO AFRICAN DOLLS WERE ORDER FOR THIS LOCATION. I NEED TO GO TO THE WEST SIDE OF TOWN TO GET ITEM. SORRY I LIVE IN THE NORTH OF TOWN AND WHY SHOULD I HAVE TO DRIVE INTO AN BLACK COMMUNITY IN OREDER TO THE ITEMS THAT I NEED? I FEEL ALL ITEMS SHOULD BE AVAILABLE IN ALL AREAS. I was online at kmart.com for the Blue Friday 5-11 am sales. And an item listed at $14.99 did not go into the cart with the sale price (I took a picture with my cell phone as verification). A kmart.com rep ID 12194 told me that there was a glitch in the system and to get a price adjustment as soon as the order was placed online. I did that. But the next rep I spoke to was not so accommodating. She said I could not get the sale price. I tried to cancel the order immediately (include speaking with a 'supervisor on the floor') and was told that I could not cancel. While I had that rep on the phone, I spoke to another rep ID 01016 who was able to cancel my order. I do not understand why customer service is so bad with kmart.com/sears.com especially when this holiday season your company is relying on any and every sale possible. I am sad to say that I will not be shopping with kmart.com every again.

If you can't get a store manager to help like me, the people at corperate office are nicer and minimal wait if 14 minutes but all was taken care of THANKS K MART CORERATE OFFICE. YOU MADE ME HAPPY TODAY!

Went to our local K-Mart two days before Thanksgiving on Battan Memorial in Las Cruces NM. Looked around there's no baskets,ask some store clerks where's the baskets ? four of them at the "help" counter look down at the floor.Then I ask again,finally an elderly lady that is fillingout reward cards said,"Sir they are outside if you want one." I said, lady this is the HOLIDAY SEASON for Christs sakes, do you want to limit us to one Item only or just what we can carry on our BACKS. At 69 and 70 years of age that's not much merchandise. So, we turned around walked out, went to Wal Mart and an nice gentleman much my senior BROUGHT ME A BASKET, imagine that. We got our items and went home happy.

Went to the 770 Broadway store here in Manhattan. Interested in buying the Essential Home 16Pc Gold Band Dinnerware Set. Visited the store during the day. Found the Gold Band set under the Platinum Band Set Boxes. Asked for Store personnel to assist in reaching the Gold Band Set. No one came to assist me. After 20 minutes I had to move just two boxes to reach the Gold Band set. Manager came out and scolded me for touching the boxes. I asked Manager to get me some one to move the two Boxes. He responded "you just have to take whats there" and walked away in a huff.

First of all, there should be a zero star choice. In order to speak to the manager, I had to contact corporate. The lay-a-way department did not fill our entire order even though we paid for everything. It took 2 1/2 hours to receive a car seat we had purchased. Then it took another hour after we got home for a manager to deem us important enough to speak with us. We were told by lay-a-way personnel that she could not help us because the person that put the items up did not place a sticker on them. Their view was that we paid, but would not get the merchandise. Corporate admitted that this was actually theft by taking and we informed him that we would press charges. It is funny that after waiting for 20 minutes on hold for the manager, when we got frustrated and hung up, the entire store's phone system was busy. It was busy for another 15 minutes. Even corporate could not get the manager to answer for 10 minutes. What kind of place are you running?

Let me start off by saying that I gave Kmart 1 star because I didn't have the option of giving them a flat 0!! I went to the Kmart store in Fairfield, California and the customer service there was horrible!! I was in the customer service line and it took over 20 minutes to help 1 person. I had the customer in front of me complaining that she had been in line for too long. I walked out and headedd across the street to the new Super Walmart that just opened. It wouldn't surprise me if Kmart closes soon. With all these complaints it's obvious Corporate doesn't care. I worked at Target and I know that if Corporated received a complaint about 1 of their stores it would get taken care of asap.

I was so extremely disappointed in the Boca Raton, Florida store. My husband and I went there to pick up some Chanukah items and found the display, which had approx. 4 items on it pathetically lacking in merchandize. Needless to say I WILL NOT be shopping in Kmart in the future. At least WALMART had one full aisle, both sides chock full of goodies. Now where do you think I'll shop in the future?????????

my daughter was in your waterville maine store and she was in the checkout line with my 2and a half year old grandaughter my grandaughter was fussy and wanted m&ms she was also purchasing condoms when your associate made the comment that if she had have bought the condoms first she wouldnt have had to buy m&ms she left very upset and in shock that he had said this to her and called me very upset so i went down there and the associate had allready left and that they would take care of it but nothing seems to be getting done he is still working there so i take it nothing is being done my daughter is so embarrassed she will never go back there we want something done

This Thursday, as my family comes to our home for Thanksgiving dinner and we begin to discuss all the Black Friday sales and stores we intend to visit, I intend to very loudly advise them to avoid giving Kmart or Sears any of their Christmas shopping business. I will explain to them the very customer unfriendly experience I encountered with your company recently and warn them to tell their friends/co-workers the same. About 10 days ago, I placed an online order for 2 items, but within 1 1/2 hours was able to locate the items from another retailer at a significantly lower price. I then phoned your customer service and requested the order to be canceled. I was assured by the representative that she would que the offline team to cancel it and I would receive an email confirmation of the cancellation that day. That email never arrived, so I called the following day and a different representative apologized and stated she would basically do what the first representative failed to do. Again, no cancellation confirmation was emailed to me. Before I could place a 3rd call back, I received an email that my order had SHIPPED! I am beyond upset at this point, and reply to the email with an explanation that the order should have never shipped to me. I received a reply back that advised me to refuse delivery on the package. I did just that when UPS attempted to deliver it to me. 2 days later, I followed up on my bank statement and see a refund for the items, but no refund on the shipping fee. So I phone customer service again and I am told that they will refund the shipping fee and I should see it within 3-5 days. 3 days pass and I am concerned to see that the shipping fee has not been refunded when it did not take as long for the refund on the items. Plus, in the meantime, I have noticed a miscalculation in the tax I was charged on the items as well. So, once again I phone customer service and ask the representative to connect me to a manager instead. After waiting on hold for 20 minutes, I am finally able to explain the situation to a manager. He informs me that the shipping refund actually wasn't initiated and he will manually do that for me. I'm not going to hold my breath on that at this point. But I further explain to him that I have been overcharged on my sales tax. It is not rocket science to figure this out, but he comes back with the response that the difference is a SHIPPING tax!!! Are you kidding me??? A shipping tax on top of a shipping fee? I have NEVER been charged a shipping tax by any other online retailer and I have never heard of such a thing! I go on to ask him why is this so called shipping tax not separated out from the regular sales tax on the invoice? He had no reasonable explanation for this. I am done with Kmart and plan to file a complaint with the BBB and Attn. General/Consumer Protection.

Don't bother emailing or writing them ,they don't respond to complaints,the rewards program is a way for k-mart to get consumers to spend money they don't have ,to try and gain sells ,promising points toward your next purchase.Than you have to fight to get the correct points your due.Also don't bother calling customer service ,all you will receive is a song a dance around your inquiry ,as if customers are stupid...Terrible customer service in hard times ,not very smart.

Went shopping this morning at the super Kmart in Mentor, Ohio , to take advantage of the 10% rewards offered in the grocery ad. I noticed looking around that they had a K-cafe and numerous graphics showing the different food items they offer. I deceided to get something to eat. Well don't you know I go to the cafe to order breakfast, when I find out they're closed and haven't been serving breakfast, lunch or dinner for quite awhile. Don't you think they would take down the graphics and wall signs that indicate a K-cafe is located in the store and open for business. Someone from the corporate office needs to get their store operation division envoled and correct this in this store.

I purchased a inflatable swiss gear air bed for $54.99, I also put the extended warranty on it for $7.99. I just found out that it has a hole in it. I have guests coming in a week. I called the number on the warranty pamphlet and found out either way I go I'm going to have to buy another mattress. I will never buy something like this from Kmart again. You're warranty program sucks. I want my 7.99 back as well as the price of the mattress

My complaint is about you on line site at K Mart. Recently I bought two pairs of pajamas on line. I typed in your search engine ladies pajamas. It was very confusing because it brought up all female pajamas. Usually girls clothes are sized 8-10-12-14-16-18 Usually juniors are stated as juniors and can be size by number or letter. Womens are usually S-M-L-XL and big womens pajamas are usually 1X-2X-3X-4X-5X. The pajamas I bought said girls but the sizes were XS-S-M-L-XL. I never have seen young girls pajamas sized like this so I thought they were ladies pajamas and just called girls so I ordered them. As I looked further into the site I wondered if I had made a mistake. I tried calling customer service right away to see if they were or not and to cancel them if they were not ladies and they told me that it was too late. Once you order you cannot cancel. When I got them in the mail they were young girls pajamas. Your site is so very confusing and you cannot tell what is what. I thought that I had ordered the right thing because of the size that was stated, not the description. If it was XS-S-M-L-XL it should be women's, right? It cost me $6.95 shipping plus gas for 35 miles one way to take them back. I live up north and that is the closest K Mart and the closest Sears is over an hour away (one way) so I like to shop on line for Christmas. Unfortunately I will not be using your site any more to by clothes. When I ask for ladies, that is what I should have gotten. I typed in women's and it brought up the same thing. You cannot know what you are buying. I am a grandmother, a recent widow and had back surgery this past year. I am just now starting to handle the walking that shopping takes and I cannot do much of it. I have nerve damage and numbness in my left leg and foot and if I walk too much, I am in much pain. I love shopping on line and don't mind the shipping if I can get what I want. It is impossible to get what you want when you don't know what you are getting. Very poor site. I hope that you read this and you will do something about it. My grandkids could put together a better site than this. Heck, I could and I am just a grandma that didn't have or know anything about a computer until 5 years ago.

I put items on lay-a-way for our grandchildren at the Chesapeake Square K-mart on Sept.25,2010. It was clear it was a Christmas Lay-a-way! Made some payments but when I went to get it out ONE day after it was due they had put it back! O.K, I guess it was my fault but I didn't have time to wait it that long line two days before. but what makes me furious is Desere' was the associate who wrote it up for me, I was NEVER told there were different types of lay-a-ways and was not given an option. In the end they kept $30.00 of my money, money down the drain, or in K-marts pocket!! The young lady that waited on me that last time was Khalia, she was very nice and apologetic and told me to ask for a manager. I wasn't going to do that because I have encountered the manager before and she was VERY rude over not wanting to give me an item for the price it was marked on the shelf! If it was not for my mother being happy with the pharmacy in that store I would NEVER be going back in there, but you can bet I will ONLY be buying prescriptions and nothing else! I used to manage a small retail store and I would NEVER tolerate ignoring customers or being rude, I guess times are changing. But you know what? There's a Wal-mart just right around the corner and Roses are opening up all over and they're pretty lenient on their lay-a-ways. The fees were never disclosed to me and they need to teach their employs that this is mandatory.I might even file a complaint with the states consumer-affairs office,in this day and time $30.00 is a lot of money!!

Our business has been open for 6 yrs right down the street from Kmart in Fontana Ca we have been a customer this long. Ive seen a lot of unprofessional people work there from bad customer service to badly dressed an ungroomed cashiers and managers . I've experienced long lines at cash registers with 1 associate working the floor and other associates hanging out by customer service desk or snack area. I've brushed it off because maybe it will get better and it didn't. This year alone has been the worst we buy their items with our purchasing corporate n never had to show an I'D for purchases. We have been refused to purchase items they have bad customer service their service is very poor and unprofessional. All cashiers know who we are , why, being an ongoing customers would we think of making fraudulent charges and ruin our reputation NEVER!!! So today I just drew the line to where Kmart has lost our buisness and will go Target which has everything we ask for !!!!

I went to pick-up my Christmas layaway at K-Mart. After an hour of searching, they couldn't find it. It's amazing how many ads they have to promote this program. It is so unorganized. They sent an employee out on the floor to find all my items that I purchased. They have found it all but one. Supposedly, they searched other stores and they cannot locate one, which I don't believe at all. What a poor set-up. Never again will I enter this store.
