I ordered a headboard on line at K-mart.com. That night after discusssion my husband and I decided to cancel the order and order the bed frame and headboard. I cancelled the order and received a cancellation notice. The next day I received another e-mail that stated they were unable to cancel my order, however upon delivery I should refuse the order and when returned to the warehouse I would be credited. The order was left on my doorstep! I could not refuse it. I however received notice that I could return it to my local K-mart in St. Augustine Florida. After loading it in the truck and carrying it into the K-mart, the local and very nice manager - Rosa could not find the correct #'s on the packing (all original) she called corporate office who indicated that this item could not be returned to the store! I spent over 1 hour on a sunday standing in the K-mart discussing on the phone what should happen next!. A final decision was made that I was to leave the headboard in the K-mart store and UPS would be sent to pick it up. I called 4 days later and the headboard was still at K-mart. I called 866-562-7848 and spoke with Eric who indicates that I would need to ship the headboard back at my cost and if I needed further assistance I would have to write to the corporate office! I found this site and spoke with Christopher at 847-286-2500. Christopher was pleasant however he was unable to get the headboard shipped back to the warehouse! I will go and pick it up and it will be the last time I will set foot in K-Mart.!!!!

i placed an order on 1/14/2011 was supposed to receive on 1/18 to 1/20 never reced the order but they took my money out of my acct i have called twice about this order both times told id get a email which i have never received either. i am out 46.00 no merchandise , is this how k mart treats customers if so please do not order from them they are a rip off they take your money and keep the merchandise they are very undependable and could care less about their customers. i will never order from them again i am still fighting to get my money back or the merchandise and they dont even care........very poor company and terrible customer service.........

your customer service at your airport location in pensacola fl,is really bad. one cashier and 6 people waiting in line .we were finally routed to customer service,where we had to wait in line some more due to customer having a problem w/ gift certificate. need less to say this other customer and i,just put our stuff down and walked out . it just blows my mind that a store that big has plenty of employees walking around and one cashier .come on now,and the world is shocked that all these buisness are closing .i once was a cashier and was taught ,the number one thing is get a customer in and out . no waiting ...no waiting.... so i decided to call the manager and explain the sitution and was told .we appreciate you calling .. never once said im sorry or anything else !!

To Whom It May Concern: My name is Stephanie, and I just got home following a shopping trip at Kmart, Store #3302, across the street from my friend’s apartment. I read the Sunday paper, including ads, and was excited to go and get the promotion Kmart was offering until February 5th. Coupons that are worth up to $2, with your Rewards Card, will be doubled. Both the cashier and manager were extremely friendly, but I got rather upset when I found out there was a 5 coupon limit, I had about 10. On top of the five coupon doubling limit, coupons worth $2 WON’T be doubled. This really confused me because the ad clearly states that up to $2, coupons will be doubled. It does not say, “UP TO $1.99”, it says, “up to $2”. Who gets a coupon that is worth $1.99? I do not see a single coupon in the four books of coupons I cut today with Kmart in mind. I had 5 coupons WORTH $2 that I ended up not even using. Another concern of mine was my EBT card. I purchased Slimfast drinks along with Pepsi 2 Liters. I paid $2 for the Pepsi on my EBT card, but the Slim Fast would not work. I buy Slim Fast every month for myself and have never had a problem with EBT covering the items. My cashier said that because it was a drink, it was no covered. That did not make sense to me because Pepsi is also a drink. Energy drinks are not covered by EBT, which Slim Fast is not. I was in line for over 30 minutes trying to get my coupons in order and take things off my order that I no longer could afford. The cashier was nice, but she lost a couple of my $1.50 coupons that she at first typed into the register, but the 3rd and 4th times she said she gave them all back to me, but then found another coupon of mine that was missing. This was honestly the worst shopping trip of my life. I LOVED Kmart until this happened. Isn’t it false advertising, saying you will double coupons up to $2, but in reality, the $2 is not included? Maybe the 25,000 points I wanted to get with a transferred prescription would make me feel better about today, please? I do not want the cashier or the manager to be reprimanded in any way because they were good and honest employees who were patient with me and my needs. But the coupon policy, losing my coupons, stuff not working on the EBT, really soured the good time. Now, as I look at my receipts, I see that she did in fact ring up one of my $2 coupons, and it was in fact doubled. Why is that?

I went to the kmart in blaine mn.. The advertisement says $2.00 coupon doubles. At the store they say only a $1 coupon doubles. I do not think anyone know's what is going on. Can anyone answer my question?? What is right.??? My neighbor was in there the same night I was & she was treated very rude by the manager. joan

How is it that an assistant manager can have a relationship with a cashier? Do you not have any rules???? Also to see them sneeking behind counters to kiss one another,is this the management that your company wants?? Is this who you put in charge with money?

I would like to know why, at the Fairfax location, we were required to stay til ten pm. The federal government in DC closed 2 hours early. The mall closed at 4. Burlington Coat Factory, the other anchor store in our shopping center closed at 7. Why is it that with such increasingly hazardous driving conditions we were made to stay until 10pm? And the only reason I could leave then was the overnight crew told the store manager they weren't coming in. If he is going to require this, then he needs to come in and stay at the store. We don't all make so much money that we can afford the large 4 wheel drive vehicles. Seriously, I got home at 2:45 am.

I am very disappointed in your management techniques.Since you opened your new Superstore in Kelso, Wa,with great fanfare, every time I shop there (at least twice a month) I am unable to obtain some of the products you carried in the older store. When I ask, am told temporarily out of stock. Whoever is doing the ordering needs to get on the ball. I have gone to a competitor's store, and obtained the products there. I will not shop for those products again at your stores, and will not buy groceries there, and will not visit your store as often.

The store in Versailles, Ky has gone down hill since this last manager has come there. From what I have observed, he doesn't care about giving good service to all customers, only the young women. I've also noticed that the older more experienced employees are not working very much anymore. They're the ones you could always count on to help you in any way possible. I don't think the store is nearly as well managed now as it used to be. What happened??? Is the current manager new in management? If so, he needs much more training. I also wish you would find out why the older employees who have been there for some time are not working very much. Its a shame!!!!

I have recently visit the store located in the bronx area. 2 minutes before closing i was approached by a security guard asking jme to leave already. I reply by telling him that me, my preganat wife and my 2 young girls, 9yrs and 2 yrs old were on our way out. When he turned around left screaming "F___ Y___ M____F___R ! I was totally in shock, and approached him really mad and asked him what was the problem, he said that i didn't want to leave, I told him that was no excuse for him to cursed me out, and told him to better stop, then once again "F___ Y___ B____T " several times in front of my wife and kids, as well as several employess, it lasted a little over 2 minutes, then he left the store. I was very disappointed that the managers were unable to comply with my request to bring him back. What kind of personnelo this people are employing these days. I will comtinue this with my lawyers.

i work there currently in waukegan illinois and i hate it there its the worst store ever to work at we are now getting our hrs cut if you cnt get ppl to get a shop your way reward card or buy a smart plan which is dumb most of the ppl have one or dnt want one what do you expect us to do BEG!!! im not finna do that over no card and dnt NoBODY want a smart plan!!! and then becuz of the hrs cut they have 1 person doing multiple jobs thats y nobody is ever in electronic jewlry or layaway cuz they got that person doing other things...they always have old price drops and sale stickers on things so buyers be thinking they getting something for low prices and it dnt show up in the system so we gotta do a long process of price checks and us cashiers would do it but we are not allowed to leave the cash register no more so we have to go on the intercom and ask for someone to do it for us which takes for ever cuz they are multitasking...it just sucks i dnt recommend kmart to anyone

This Christmas I bought two Augen 10" notebooks from the local Kmart in Camden SC. One did not turn on so I returned it for the Augen 7"gentouch. Now on Christmas day when my kids opened the gifts I bought at Kmart none of the Augen products worked, made for a great Christmas for my kids. I am very dissappointed in the Augen product and in Kmart for selling such junk. Not that one family matters to a large corporation, but I can say I will never shop at Kmart again. VERY UNSATISFIED CUSTOMER

I ordered items on Black Friday for Christmas presents. The items made it to Jacksonville, FL on Dec. 3rd via UPS. I called UPS on Dec. 10 and wast told Unfortunately the package was then lost. Upon contacting Kmart customer service that same day I was told a tracer would be place on the package and if not found I would receive a refund. I told them to notate my account that I wanted a refund as I would have to order the merchandise elsewhere in order to get for Christmas. "a tracer takes 7-10 business days." I called back on the 20th and was told a tracer wouldl have to be placed on the package that one had not been placed. I have atleast 25 different emails stating I want my money back and I am always told they understand but they need to wait for the tracer results. After the last tracer was due to expire I emailed again stating I wanted my money back and the order cancelled. I received an email stating a tracer had been placed on the account. When I called and demanded my money back I was told the dept where the manager that is handling my account is not a department that I can be transferred to. If one more person tells me they understand I am going to scream. It is $39. I don't want the merchandise. JUST GIVE ME MONEY BACK. I am so totally disgusted with Kmart. I will never shop there again.

I have neurological damage which has left me incontinent. What a helpful thing when Kmart sold American Fare XL briefs. The product has been replaced by a product which is inferior to American Fare. I.E. thinner material, less absorption, ill fit. I urge Kmart to bring back this product or something that is equal in quality and value. Anne G

I have been a Kmart employee for nearly 3 years. I have near perfect attendance, have been a productive & enthusiastic team member. During this time, in an effort to get more hours, I have covered other shifts, worked on my days off, worked in other areas of the store. After making myself available 7 days a week for 10 hours a day,with no result, begging for more hours got tiresome so I secured a second job. Over the past 2 months I have gotten approximately 60 hours. I get reasonable health care insurance thru Kmart which is the reason I stay there. They want me to make myself more available to them in order to get more hours which means I would have to sacrifice hours at my other job. For what???!!! For the possibility that MAYBE I'll get TEN hours a week? Kmart is a disgustingly disorganized company. They DO not care about their employees. They just need bodies. the company is going under. If you want to actually work for a living & have a future in retail, seek employment at WALMART. If you're on assistance, & plan on being a societal mooch, you will most DEFINITELY be hired in at Kmart. I hear the kickback from the government is VERY generous.

I am a long time customer for the Kmart in Wayne PA. Its so convienient cause its really close to my resident. I just recently found out that ONE of the NICEST person in that building was fired!! I just couldn't believe that a person who has been working there for so long who is always smiling, very decated to his work, and would help anyone at a drop of a dime, would be release for honoring his customers. Please bring him back, everyone deserves a second chance. I proably will never shop there again.

I work for Kmart/Sears Holdings myself. I have been there for 2 years and see a lot of peolple come and go. My store is 7372 Hyde Park Rd. and I could definetly admit that we do hire a lot of kids. These kids tend to overlook their reponsibilities as employees and put a bad image on the company. If we are out of something we would call other stores or try our best to get what the customer is looking for. There are very few occassions where the customers ever do leave unsatisfied. The only unsatisfaction I here a lot of in my community like in restraunts is they are saying we are ramming the rewards program down their throats. They are tired of it, all they want to do is go in shop and pay and go home. Not every aisle they turn in a employee is standing there with a handful of rewards cards to badger you. Even at the checkouts they would ask the customer a million questions while trying to check out. While eating at a Kings Family Restraunt two days ago a group of kids were talking about beating up some of my co-workers if tttthey wouldn't shut up about the rewards cards. I told my night shift manager and the store manager nothing is going to be done about it unless something actually happens. Is this rewards program actually worth the lives of mean and my co-workers?

If this review was written just a week ago, it would have been 5 stars! However, KMART has let me down and I will NEVER order anything from them again. I completed an online layaway list for Christmas gifts. I made my final payment on December 14th and picked up the items on the 15th. Full paid, have my receipt and my kids were so happy with "Santa" on Christmas morning. Yesterday, I checked my online banking and noticed a $40 charge to my account from KMART.COM. The transaction is listed as a debit card internet purchase. I have NOT ordered anything else from KMart since my final layaway payment. I called Customer Service, assumming that this would be an easy error to correct. I spoke with SEVEN different people- I was transferred all over the place and spoke with people that seemed to have no idea what an "erroneous charge" meant. I even called the so called "dispute" department, but they told me that they couldn't look up a charge without an order number or a store number. Now tell me this- if I didn't place an order, how would I have an order number? And if the purchase was made online, how would I have a store number? No one could find an order placed under my name, card or e-mail address. The 7th person told me to fax in proof of the charge to my account and a written statement explaining everything. I did, and I haven't received a response. I have since filed a claim with my bank, so KMART can deal with my bank now. Beware! The Customer Service is a JOKE and KMART doesn't seem to want to admit a mistake. I'll NEVER place an order through KMART.COM again and if this is how their customer service reps handle calls, I'll never buy anything in store either.

Where do I began? The experience with your company has LEFT me speechless and whom ever I come in Contact with will know about my experience!!!!! When a Customer has a return and provides the Original receipt and is refused a legitimate refund it screams "LAWSUIT" !!! I have contacted your Consumer relations Dept AND Several store and assistant managers I was sent from store to store for a resolution wasting Gas for my refund to still not be giving it. I Was told it's a systematical error, Well being in a world filled With Technology there is always someone to correct this I have presented my issue and requested action, allowed 24 hrs sO I have since contacted my local BBB, Attorney General and my local media network to gain exposure to your company!!! The Store managers and Associates should be trained better to create the better customer experience and since there was an error with the one item that can't be resolved without a Help ticket Me and several of my family members are returning everything we brought from your stores for the Christmas Holiday and causing your company to lose out on thousands of dollars and 7 frequent shoppers whom are all eager to get the word out about your company!!!!
