I actually work at KMART in Mn and even that I work there it is the most disoraganized store I know. Talk about managers always wanting us to enroll customers into the SYWR, we do our best, but our customer are "REGULARS" that come into the store. Why doesn't the cooperate actually put the store MANEGERS for a day to see that it's not always easy to enroll customers???????????????

The K Mart in Prince Frederick MD. will not answer the phone. tried many times will ring for 5 min. exactly then go to busy signal.tripple checked correct number they will not answer..they really dont care.

it came to my attention that an Auburn,ca kmart employee of 27 yrs was a no show no call one day. an associate was concerned and on break went to knock on her door,no answer,the asst returned to the store and retreived her spare key(which was left w/the previous store mgr for just an occasion)and returned w/ another asst to find the elderly employee collapsed in her hallway,and had been there for some 2 days. these 2 assts are responsable for saving her life,Heroes right? not as far as the current mgr thinks as she felt it nessessary to give the asst a write-up because it wasn't done on her break time.BOOOO!!! kmart for employing mgrs like this,, those two assts should've been rewarded not written-up!!!! shame shame same on that mgr,,,, KERI is her name so if you see her in that store let her know how you feel...

Just went to the k-mart store in tifton ga. i wanted to buy a golf club with a gift card from my son. the cashier did not know how to handle the card, because it was on an email from k-mart. it has a gift card number on it from k-mart. the cashier needed to go to the manager to see how to handle the gift card. we waited about 15 minutes at the counter for the girl to go see the manager. she finally came back and said that the manager did not know what the gift card was or how they should handle it. the cashier said that the manager said that they could not accept the gift card. we walked out without my golf club and k-mart had no sale. this goes to show that k-mart should just go out of business and spare a potential customer the pain of doing business with these people. there were about ten potential customers in the store. they lost my business. went to walmart and did more shopping. had to wait in line to checkout. there were appoximately 250 people in the store buying. ps it is an icardgiftcard.

I can't believe this company is still in business. Ur prices are too high and ur clothes suck. Just like ur customer service.

what kind of corporation hire people to work for 2 day a week for $73.00 when a metro car cost $29.00. this is just ridculous. KMART you should be ashamed of yourself getting government credit for hiring people but they are not really working. Just wait for them to all go on unemployment for lack of work.

My name is Laquetta Grant and I am an upset and dissatisfied customer who makes purchases from the Kmart store #3454 at 900 Orthodox Street, Philadelphia, PA 19124. I purchased an airbed called Instabed from this store on 07/08/2012. On 07/26/2012, two of the indentations in the airbed tore and basically caused the whole bed to deflate. I tried to repair the bed with minimum results so, I called the store and they told me I can replace the bed and I did this transaction. On 08/06/2012, the second airbed did the same thing and tore the same exact way in the very same spot. I returned the bed once again and received another replacement for the same bed. Now, last night, the airbed has tore once again in the SAME place, SAME indentation, SAME row and everything. I called the store today at 7:37 AM to speak with a manager about a better resolution to the issue. The manager, Eric, stated to me in a very condescending and disdainful tone, that I can either have my money refunded and purchase a bed from somewhere else or to purchase a different bed (which will cost more) and I still have to pay the difference yet, he advised me not to purchase the same brand of bed. What I would like to know is, why should I give Kmart more money for selling me a bed that I have had to replace 3 times in the past month and 3 weeks? Is this the way Kmart and its affiliates does business by inconveniencing their customers and make them spend more money that they cannot afford? In my opinion, he is stating that this is my fault and he told me that I am the only one complaining about the bed. He basically singled me out and made me feel like I was just complaining or being catty for no apparent reason. I am writing this letter today to request that your corporate offices make this correct for my family and I, since nothing can be resolved on the store level. My boyfriend and I have to sleep on the floor due to this purchase of the defective bed, and it’s not fair to consumers during these trying times in this dysfunctional economy to be sold defective products and not compensate their customers for purchasing faulty and malfunctioning products. I am extremely upset and disarrayed by the way I have been treated by Kmart and I am simply asking you, as the leader of this corporation, to find a moral and modest resolution for myself and my family. I even purchased the replacement plan and I was refunded my money for the plan because the bed becomes defective before the 30 day time period to use this plan. My income is $158.00 every two weeks from the state of PA. I do not have the funds or income resources to keep purchasing items that are flawed, substandard and cause me problems within a week or two of the purchase date. This is unreliable and mediocre customer service and I feel I am being bamboozled by Kmart. At this point, I plan to contact the media and give bad reviews about this airbed and Kmart because the lack of concern for customers and their grievances is appalling. This bed should be recalled and taken off of shelves. At this time, I am returning to the store for a full refund of my money for the purchase of this bed. In the future, I will take my purchases elsewhere and I will NEVER buy another product from Kmart or its affiliates ever again unless someone from corporate contacts me about the matter and we come to a mutual resolution to the problem! I will also put the word out and make sure that others feel the disrespect, disappointment, dissatisfaction, displeasure and distress I have experienced and urge them to do the same. Your service is the worst that I have received in a long time. I was suppose to receive a call back within 2 hours and it is now 7 hours later. There is NOTHING in your store that I can't live without and I can tell you right now that I don't plan to come back. I shop at kmart and have for years. my husband and me went to kmart in scottsboro alabama my husband used his debit card the cashier told him it is an invaled card so i swiped mine it excepted mine when we got home i went on line to online banking to check our debit account kmart charged us twice that day it has been over a week and they still keep giving me the go around about giving our money back. needless to say my husbands debit was not invaled they ripped us off and now they dont want to give it back i wonder what the better buisness bureal would say

K-Mart 4117, Stockton Blvd. K-Mart. This message is for you Mary, "Regional Manager". How could you let store managers treat employees so unfairly? How can you let merchandiser go clean the bathroom when it's not there duty? How can you let favoritism exist in stores? How can you send Michael Mead to Stockton with a raise, but not give the true hard working K-Mart employee raise? How can you let Robin talk to us like we are nothing? You drive a BMW, and we see you as someone who can make a change, and you walk the store, we all hope that you make the change... the moment you walk out, things stay the same. Nothings changed. There's a lot going on in the store that you know about that you know is wrong don't you? Yet, you don't step up and make a change. You want to know why C-Stats scores are low? You want to know why we are not making as much money? You want to know why our customer hate us? want to know the solution to all this? take my advice. Fire all store managers, fire all supervisor, and hire new leaders who actually cares about there customer and there employers.

I was in Kmart the other day 8/21/2012 and I never had a more horrible experience. The poor cashiers that work in this store sure do have to go through a lot. For one it was very warm in the store, when checking out most things wouldn't even come up as the correct price. I had asked the cashier who puts the prices in their system and she politly told me that their corporate headquarters does all this. I told her that corporate headquarters need new management. This is not only a hassle for your customers, but for your employees as well. Pricing needs to be put in for all your products and when put it, whether on sale or not needs to be entered correctly. The surveys that keep coming up for customers to take on the credit card swipe, that needs to go! People don't have the time for this and never do your employees. This is more a hassle than I can explain. I think the company would get more business if they just would do a few simple changes. Pricing entered in system correct along with sale prices and to get rid of all the silly non-sense that comes up on the credit card swipe.

My husband was just terminated from a kmart here in Mi last night he had an accident and broke his collarbone he was sick all night and this morning when he got up. We have no vehicle and he has to walk a mile to get to work. Needless to say he was running late due to being sick plus the pain from walking he called and told someone he was running late and even though, he made theeffort and came in the h.r lead still let him go even though he did his best to get to his shift. I believe he was let go unlawfully and something needs to be done!

I have been in Kmart stores on three different occasions where I have watched people walk out of the store with alcoholic beverages and not pay for them. One was a woman with 3 children and she had cases of beer. No one stopped her at all. She had 2 men waiting for her in the parking lot. Why aren't people watching the door? Two times it was at the Kmart on 15th Street in Panama City, Fl and the cases of beer theft was in Dothan, Alabama. The quality of employees seems to be lacking.

Very poor customer service at Store #7223. Does Kmart even interview people before they hire them? It seems like all you have to be is breathing, and have a piss poor attitude and employment is guaranteed with Kmart. I wont spend one dollar at this store from this day forth. The customer service was so poor from the Store Manager of Store #7223 (on 8-19-2012 at 2 p.m. CST) that I've decided Kmart needed to be publicly graded. Since when does a Store Manager say with absolute confidence "it sounds like your catching an attitude" to a customer who was given the wrong $200 item and hung up on twice by incompetent employees? This is absolutely astounding! I wish I could award Kmart zero stars and plaster this post across public broadcasting because that would spark a change in their hiring process. If any board members or officers are reading this message, you'd be dumb to not look into Store #7223 in Metairie, LA. I have clearly listed the date and times. I'm done with this situation and Kmart.

i recently purchased a gazebo from kmart in michigan, after a day of rain it completely fell apart i only owned it for a week. i called the store and that was a joke the gazebo cost 150 dollars and the store manager could not authorize a return, or refund of any sort (powerless) and embarassing for her. corporate was really no help they also said it was my responsibility to contact the vendor. very poor customer service and horrible return policy.

I have filled out application for k-mart in Mt. Dora three times now. One was for a dishwasher and one for cashier. The first one I put in for was for floor maintenance but unsure if it went to the right store. Anyhow,I know for a fact that I have experience running a cash register and washing dishes. Who really needs experience washing dishes. I have been unemployed now for 8 months. No unemployment. Food stamps. I have applied for positions that are advertising a position that needs to be filled. I tried to submit my application and it tells me that they are looking for someone more qualified. What gives? I have my GED. I even have some college. I am willing to work. I am dependable. I am a hard worker and I have references to back up what I am saying. So do I have a problem? Yes I do. Willing to work and no one wanting to hire someone older? What else is it? I don't know. No felonies. No getting fired from other jobs. Last job I had for 6 years. GO FIGURE...

I am really disappointed in customer service I got. Last Friday I purchased a canopy that went was $75.99 from the Arlington location in Riverside, Ca. Two days later I see the same item in a Sears ad for $59.99. I still had the receipt and instead of paying me the difference the they would rather have me bring back the product and send it back to the vendor instead of paying the $15.00. Just makes no sense.
