They are horrible, They delivered half of my bedroom set without the other set and then when I called because they missed their 2ND schedule DROP OFF they acted like they had no idea what's going on. That's what I get when I asked and they said nothing is guaranteed but they will try.
Went to Savon in Port Charlotte (owned by Kanes) bought over $1500of Merchandise, area rug was delivered and the color was not the same as the one we picked out. Called the store and was told there was not much they could do the rug we picked was the one delivered. Called customer service and was given a tape, leave your number and we will get back to you. That was over 10 days ago still waiting. Called back the store and was told they would take back the rug but we would have to pay a $45 dollar restocking fee. Brought back the rug and asked to speak to the manager and as I expected he was not available. Have been buying at that store for the past eight years, never again.
I have had 3 sofas delivered and all 3 have been damaged.I am waiting for another one to be delivered on Saturday. I get the feeling when I call and complain about this problem that I am somewhat of a nusiance. Is it to much to ask for a new sofa to be NEW?????? Also I guess my time is valuable.

They owed me a refund and lied to me over and over and over and over. I called customer service and there is no one there. You have to leave a message and hope she calls you back. Yes only one customer service person that only returns calls left on her voice mail. Going to have to dispute my credit card and stand clear of this bad company. Wish I would have read the reviews and checked the BBB before I gave them my money.
I went to a local Kanes today to redeem my tickets for Muvico tickets and was disrespected by the lady working in the back of the stores desk. She said the new rule was a limit of four per household. There was no policy or anything listed on the door or at the desk. She was very rude and made me write people's name down on a piece of paper with addresses. I told her their was no policy a few days ago. I felt very disrespected.
Frustrated that everytime I walk into a Kanes to redeem my tickets for Muvico tickets, their policy changes. Today it was 1 per adult, my kids couldn't get their ticket and since the tickets we used had the original ticket owners name on them, they wouldn't issue us movie tickets. They don't have these policies posted anywhere to read. Bad advertising on their end to upset a long time customer that will no longer be a future customer after being treated that way.

We bought a couch and it is "peeling"-(Ocala store). We called and were told too bad. I wrote them and was told they would fix it and it would take 2 months- I just called and was told I'm out of the money and they would not be fixing the couch-- They still sell the same product, so why won't they fix it-go to Room to go or havertys
Nasty customer svc
I called the store regarding my sofa and advised them I am so misreable with the set and asked for a return or store credit. Pretty much told me I am out of luck. Also asked if there was someone else I can speak with and they said NO. Also told me they didnt care if I recommended them to anyone else and hung up on me. Im so sore from my sofa they sent me and im emotional. So I cried after the call. No help from no one. I thought they would be nice and try to help. Dont go to the store in New Port Richey Florida off rt 19
I bought a couch less than a year ago, today I noticed that the seem on one of the cushions is coming apart. Lifetime warranty is a joke. Will not cover defective work on their part. I will never buy another piece of garbage furniture form this company. And I would discourage anyone from buying from them as well. I would give a zero star if I could.
Kanes treated my wife and I with respect and charm when we went to their store. Love the new couch and loveseat! Keep up the good work!
we bought furniture from kanes over $3000.00 dollars worth in july of 2011. the cushions have lost there shape and the one loveseat is wearing badly and the right arm has collapsed because it seems to be cardboard underneath and it has always popped when you touched it. I called the store in orlando on orange blossum trail and after two more phone calls they finally sent a tech out to look at the furniture and he took pictures, looked at the furniture and said someone would get back to me in 48 hours. never happened had to call and speak to the manager and he said the tech said that there was nothing more than wear and tear and that we dropped something on the arm of the loveseat which never happened. the furniture was a year old in july with a lifetime warranty !!!!! give me a break I am not that stupid. sorry customer service. no more kanes for us.
Three deliverlies later and still not right. Items purchased from the Melbourne Store. Each time I call the store to speak to a manager I'm told he either just left or just stepped out. Two times the delivery guys slashed the leather loveseat when unwrapping - still haven't resolved this issue. Foot board on the bed still defective after 3rd delivery. NEVER again will I shop at Kanes nor will I recommend them to anyone....ever!!! I felt giving them a one star rating was too much.
I purchased a double electric power recliner . Was told I had a life time warrante on it . The recliner is two yrs. old the seat cousin has gone bad as will as the arm section . I called and a service man game out an said it was normal wear on the arms and the seat which is now at an angle . Will be replaced . This was in July . District manager tells me it will not be untill oct before the parts get here . But would get back to me my the 15 of sept or before . I ask if they could give me another one instead of me having to wait so long . So fare not a call or anything else . Manager promised to do something ( what I don't know )but to give him until . The 15 of sept ? no call no help at all what warrant is this !
I WILL ABSOLUTELY NEVER BUY FROM THIS COMPANY AGAIN! SPENT OVER $3000 ON LIVING ROOM FURNITURE ONLY TO HAVE PEICES MISSING, WHICH WAS OK. BUT 2 MONTHS LATER AND I STILL CAN NOT GET AN ANSWER ON MY MISSING PEICES AND THEY ARE VERY RUDE WHEN YOU SPEAK TO THEM LIKE IT WAS MY FAULT THAT THEY FAILED TO DELIVER THE PRODUCTS!! STAY AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY THEY ARE VERY SHADY AND HAVE NO CLUE HOW TO TREAT THERE CUSTOMERS! AFTER THEY HAVE YOUR MONEY THEY DONT GIVE A SHIT ABOUT IF YOU ARE SATISFIED OR NOT. GOING TO RETURN ALL THE PRODUCTS I BOUGHT BECAUSE I WAS SENT AN INCOMPLETE ORDER. PRETTY SURE THERE IS ANOTHER STORE OUT THERE WHO WOULD ENJOY MY BUSINESS!

Unfair business practices I purchased a complete bedroom set from Sav On Furniture on 07/07/2012. Delivery was set for 07/12/2012. When they arrived they only had the rails and the dresser. They told me the head board and foot board was not loaded on the truck. It was scheduled for approx. a week later. The night stands were on back order. Which at purchase, I was told would be delivered on 08/18/2012. After being patient and waiting for over a month. On the 18th by 12:30pm I had not heard from Sav On. So I called and was told it would be the end of the following week.(Aug 23 or 24th) I explained that would not work for me since I have quest arriving and needed to complete the bedroom. I had to go elsewhere to purchase night stands.. I ask for a refund and was told it would be 5-7 business days for processing. Today 08/22/2012 I got a call from Jennifer the accounting manager in the Port Charlotte location telling me that my refund would be in the amount of $333.00 not the $520.00 I paid. She said becuase I received additional discount for purchasing the night stands they would have to deduct that amount. Now to me, I am being punished for their not standing behind their promise to deliver the night stands in a reasonable time. Also, she gave me a choice of waiting for the stands to come in. Which now would be the end of the month. Or not! I feel this is unfair business practices and will never shop at Sav On Furniture. I will also make sure I tell anyone who will listen not to buy from this company.
Kanes furniture is falsely advertising their products due to the FACT that what you purchase from the showroom is the the items that are being delivered. What i mean by that is-The items that are being delivered and redelivered over and over again are DAMAGED. I have contacted the BBB and I feel that this should be brought to the public's attention. The Corporate office never returns your phone calls, you are totally ignored so maybe someone should call a local news station because this has to STOP.
POOR Customer Service. I have tried to get in contact with Christine Ball in your Corp office I left two messages and have tried calling on numerous occasions and all I get is her answering machine. Is your Company making that much money that it show no concern for its customers. Now I understand why your store associates show no concern they are following their Corp office personals example, once you take the customers money you don't care if he or she is totally satisfied with the product. I sent a email to your Customer Care and never received a responses to my letter. Maybe to you I am only one person but you can believe I will never buy from your Company again nor will I recommend your company to anyone. Debbie Garcia
Bought a sectional from kanes and it turned out to be piece of junk. After no help from the store i contacted bbb. They got results fast. I was able to return item for store credit. Shipping on my new stuff was a joke because i kept being told different times. Never again will i deal with this store. Anybody else that is struggling with kanes i would strongly suggest contacting bbb.
