I HAVE SHOPPED AT JCP FOR ABOUT 50 YEARS, WHILE I FOUND THE NEW CHANGES IN HOW ONE SHOPS THERE DIFFERENT, NOW THAT I COULD LIVE WITH. HOW EVER WHAT YOU HAVE DONE TO YOUR EMPLOYEES IS NOT SOMETHING I WANT TO SUPPORT SO I NO LONGER WILL BE A CUSTOMER. WHAT A SHAME A NEW COMER IS RUINING THE JCP TRADITION.

I'm actually currently at work, and it's a ghost town. I work in the salon, we have two clients, two stylists today. Today, Ron, you informed us you'd be cutting our commission and hours, and basing our new pay on what we made in the last few months. Hey Ron, I was on maternity leave, and at home I have a beautiful baby boy, not even a year old. Another stylist took a leave to care for her ill father. And now we're punished and without incentive. Right now, I am watching the most loyal and dedicated women worry about their job security and hours, ladies that have been here over 12 years. They could make more in fast food than putting their heart and soul into a service to make people feel as beautiful.as they are on the inside. I had a very talented stylist walk out today. The stylist of thr month in fact, who had a customer write to corporate explaining how talented and wonderful she is, and now her pay is garbage. It's a kick in the teeth. The only upside, I suppose since you slashed 10 hours from me every week, that gives me more time with my baby boy. Thanks, Ron! By the way, I went to Kohl's and talked to a friend that works there. He told me our particular store will be barren and shut down by September.

I am currently sitting on TERMINAL HOLD trying to reach the CORPORATE OFFICE. I have now been on HOLD for 62 minutes. The recording keeps telling me "my call is very important" to JCP. I am furious.

I have been with jcp for 20yrs started out with 40 hrs now I'm lucky to get 20 hrs never late I was always early for work if I called in always had doctors note I worked double if somebody called in all I can say now is well well well thanks Ron I can spread my wings and go somewhere else

As so many others have stated, I, too, will not be shopping at JCP as long as they push the gay agenda. Mr. J. C. Penney, who started the company, would turn over in his grave if he knew that the company was pushing the gay agenda using the name of his company. I have read that he was a very religious person and I think he would be so ashamed of what the company has become. Does anyone know if the new CEO is gay? I have received a JCP magazine in the Sunday newspaper for two consecutive weeks with the gay couple Wendy and Maggie. One of our local television stations reported last week about the million moms' outrage about the gay agenda but JCP doubled down and sent out a new magazine (different cover) with the same gay couple included in the advertisement.

I have been a JCP shopper for some time. I am most disappointed with the new JCP. Whoever thought of this. The merchandise is definitely not the same - poorer quality. Your books advertising store items is not appealing at all. When I go to Penny's, the store is never crowded. No coupons as an incentive to shop there. I understand that a Mr. Ron Johnson, CEO officer is the instrumental person that recommended this turnover. Well, Mr. Johnson, you made a big mistake. Thank God we have Macy's in the same mall, offering coupons and discounts and superior merchandise. I suggest you go back to the drawing board and bring back the Penny's that use to be.

I have been a customer for years and have done much of my shopping from the website. The website no longer works! No graphics, no clothing pictures, just text links on left side that do not work. I have called and spoken to people about it but, to date, still not working. JCP YOU LOSE MY BUSINESS!

Want to congratulate you on the new catalog design. It is absolutely superlative! I love the layout, creativity, color, design, etc. Very current & upbeat. But especially loved the Mothers Day flyer. It actually gave me the chills. Average looking women, men & children (un-airbrushed) enjoying being together. It really made me smile. Keep up the good work. My wife works for JCPenneys salon and I have to say hair is her life, she has moved up in the 7yrs she's been there. Today she was called into a meeting and told she would no longer be paid commission and would be given an hourly salary, she loves the job and working for penneys but I don't know if we can live on the 100.00 a week avg. decrease in salary. It's sad but penneys is now being run like target and Walmart, employees are being taken advantage of. The new CEO needs to re-think what he is doing to the very people who are keeping many jcpenney afloat. These people are hard workers who care about what they do and take very good care of the customers, why do you continue to destroy their livelyhoods, do you want your best and brightest to leave so you don't have to pay too high of a pension. You may believe customers belong to jcp, but the fact is most people follow their hairdressers, just sayin

I have worked for JCP for 17 years in a comission department and have watched things change dramaticaly. Everything changes I fully understand that , how ever changing something just because you can does not mean you should.. JCP has gone from having managers and supervisors to rude poorly behaved 20 something floor experts ( experts in What I am not sure).They have dismissed the least able to survive with impunity and a sneer.Mr Johnson shows up in a video giving us a pep talk from his home in California on a Saturday, so he can spend time with his family . We have lost the privilidge having any weekends off. They have disposed of all the managers who knew any thing that was of value. They keep everythig a secret no matter what it is . They had pick people for the "TownHall Meeting" that will make them look good and not ask any hard questions. the JCP policy that is " Fair and Square " should be called SLASH AND BURN... The Kicker is after they have destroyed anything that was JC Penney they will still get paid... and they will walk away and never look back

How very sad that the once family-friendly J.C. Penney store has chosen to lower it's moral standards by promoting a gay and lesbian agenda. Today we received our second catalog from Penney's with the lesbian couple embracing with the wording "You'll often find Wendi, her partner, Maggie and daughters elbow deep in paint..." How dare you disgrace marriage, designed by God to be between a man and a woman. Do not push your perverted lifestyle on us in your advertisements. Your catalogs have become politically correct trash in our home and we have cancelled our Penney's credit card. We will no longer shop at Penney's and I intend to tell all my family and friends that you are cheapening the morals of our declining society even further. Your advertisements do influence a future generation and we are saddened that you are destroying and disgracing JCP.

Sixty years ago I recall my parents taking me to Penney's to purchase my back-to- school clothes.. Now, I'm 68 and over the years have continued to shop Penney's for everything from jeans to suits... Over our life time my wife has spent way too much at Penney's but it was always a good place to shop...until recently. As a retired corporate manager, it is extremely difficult for me to understand "why" Penney's has elected to go in a direction that is so upsetting to so many of their loyal customers... Seems that being PC is now of utmost importance to Penney's.. For whatever reason,I guess top management thinks it's important to have a lesbian spokesperson which they feel will increase sales!! Recently, I noticed that Penney's decided to include lesbians in their slick ads. I can't imagine why they would do that.. Penney's new approach has already caused loss of business and subsequent layoffs of employees.. how sad..it's not their fault. Traditional families have made Penney's the icon that it is today... not gays and lesbians.. Recommendation: Correct the problem before it's too late..

I am very disappointed in the new pricing system. I don't like to look through whole racks of clothes by price and waste my time. As a bargain shopper, my eyes immediately look for the sale and clearance racks. Everyday low pricing does not inspire me to even go to your store to look. I can't help but wonder if those who make the decisions are not men who are more interested in running the business by using the latest technology but have no idea what makes a day of shopping fun. I also think that it was the wrong move to try to take on a controversial issue in your add for Mother's Day of a lesbian couple. There are a lot of people, like me, who believe in traditional values. It obvious there are people within your company that feel that it is their right and duty to educate others on what they should accept and believe by using store advertising. I am really sorry that Penny's has gone this direction.

What did you do to my store? I used to love shopping at JCP. But with all the changes, it's far worse than before. I stopped by my store in Denton, Texas today to find the place bare - the place now looks like an old K-Mart. I will not shop there anymore. Not to mention the lack of areas to check out, the prices were high - and the associates left were horrible. Thet were dressed poorly and looked as bad as a Walmart associate. No thanks - I will shop at Dillards and Macys from now on! New CEO needs to plug in to his customer base and realize he just lost a very loyal customer base with expendable income. Way to go

AS AN EMPLOYEE WHO IS DISABLED,I AM DEVASTATED AND DE MORALIZED BY HOW JC PENNEYS HANDLED THEIR NEW 'FAIR AND SQUARE POLICY.' I RISKED MY DISABILITY NY WORKING OVER 30 HRS AND EVERY HOLIDAY LAST SUMMER FOR THEM. THEY NEVER ONCE LET ON THAT THE MAJORITY OF US WERE GOING TO BE LAYED OF AS OF MARCH1. AT 1ST THEY CUT OUR HOURS TO A POINT THEY HOPED WOULD FORCE MOST OF US TO LEAVE, AND IT WORKED FOR A GREAT DEAL OF PEOPLE. THE REST OF US RECEIVED TERMINATION LETTERS IN THE MAIL. THEY COULD NOT EVEN DO IT FACE TO FACE. MAYBE IF THEY DID NOT SEND OUT THAT RIDICULOUS MAGAZINE EACH MONTH THEY WOULD HAVE BEEN ABLE TO KEEP SOME OF US. ALSO, AS FAR AS THEIR FAIR AND SQUARE POLICY START PEELING OFF THE LABELS AND MAKE YOUR OWN DECISIONS. MY LAST TWO DAYS OF WORK I WAS PUT IN PRICING. IT IS A JOKE. I NO LONGER SHOP THERE, THE LAST TIME I DID I COULD NOT GET ANYONE TO HELP ME SO I GAVE IT 15 MIN. AND LEFT.

My husband bought my beautiful engagement ring from JCPennys, I was so happy when I received this ring. He also purchased the insurance for it so that I could have it sized when I got it. We took it to the local store to have it sized and I was told my ring would be returned to me in PERFECT condition. When it was sent back they had not sized it do to the fact they thought it would cause the diamonds to fall out. Then the lady at the jewlery counter said she would have a local jewler size it. When it came back this time it was smushed to fit my finger. I was so upset, I asked to speak with a manager and when no one could get ahold of him some other man came over said "I shouldn't have to deal with this I'm off the clock" then began arguing with me by this time I'm so upset I'm in tears in the middle of the store yelling at some man that is off the clock. Finally the manager of the store came over basically to tell me that if I was his daughter he would tell me to stop being such a brat. I still have and love my ring but will never step foot into the local store again.

i work for this company and its the worse, right now i'm looking for a new job since all they seem to care about is their gain and none of their emplooyes recently they laid off 4 supervisors in the store i work in and in others my friends work and none will be replaced as if its not hard enough to help customers with one person per register and few managers running around to help now it will be worse for us and they keep asking for more,no employee is happy here and thats very sad just knowing what to expect during your 4hour shifts gives you a huge headache and makes you not put any effort since all most cashiers work is 15 hours a week if lucky

Pompano Beach Fl JC Penny's store has lost our business forever. My wife and her friend are elderly and are treated with no respect. They have been scammed/over charged/insulted for the last time. We (my family) have spent $3000 to $4000.00 every year at JC Penny's. No matter how great the company is, if you do not have employees that greet you, say, Can I help you, smile and say thank you then no matter what you offer for products your wasting your time. Some employees are excellent that is for sure. Rude employees is for the manager to retrain their employees, starting with herself who also seldom greets you. Visit Lowes.. see what customer service is.

I have shoped with JC Penneys for 69 yr. it is so bad now, you do not buy for every one from birth to old people . I went to the penneys in Pensacola fl. to get a dress the only style that they had was all for teens. short and ugley and the close for old people was put on the second floor, and it was back in a corner where you have to have help to find it . the other close was on the first floor.where all of the close should be. If the old man Penny was alive now he would get all of you top people out of his stores.

I worked at JC Penneys for 8 years. I never called in sick, was never late and would go into work when others called off or just didn't show up. All of the sudden this new manager comes in and all hell breaks loose. Since I only worked part time (I have another full time job)I had not met him yet. I get a call asking me to come in just to meet him and talk about changes going on in the store. Never crossed my mind that I wouldn't have a job after that. I go in and he starts reading off some paper about changes and restructuring. Next thing I know he says they are eliminating the customer service/catalog desk and the only position they have available to me is the replinishment team which means I would have to work at night during the week. I know this was done because my availability was only every other weekend. I was the 3rd in line in seniority, but I guess that means nothing to big business!! I feel sorry for those that were let go that do not have another job. I will never spend another penny in that store or any other JCP store. I was once a very loyal employee and customer, but am now telling everyone I know not to shop there!!!!!!!!!!!
