BRING BACK THE CABIN CREEK LINE WILL NOT SHOP THERE ANYMORE !!!

Mr. JC Penney is rolling around in his grave on how his company has been run in the ground and damaged beyone repair!

I have always like JCPenneys, but lately the stores have lost their appeal! Shopping there just isn't fun anymore! Since January, I have spent nearly $1000 with Kohls buying clothes & shoes for our family. It's fun to shop at Kohls & to earn Kohl's cash. I think I saw a commercial of yours saying "...and we don't make you come back." Well, here's the thing, We LIKE to go back and spend the money that we've earned. I hope that your marketing team can come up with some way to make the shopping experience at JCPenneys enjoyable & exciting again. I am also very saddened to see your recent advertising embracing homosexuality. A behavior that is strictly forbidden in the Christian faith. Mr. J.C. Penney was a born again Christian (please see Wikipedia) and I think would be unhappy to see his stores walk away from the principles of his faith. If I continue to see homosexuality in your advertising, I will no longer be shopping with you. There are too many other options out there as your recent poor sales report have indicated.

Dear Penneys: If you force the religion of these brainwashed religious NUTS on me one more time, I will stop shopping there! God has told me that HE loves gays and others, too. The conservative nutballs who are against gays should be kept out of your stores and in their homes, where they can pray to the invisible man in the sky!

Detest the new JC Penney stores - Store is like a ghost town. All the nice associates that worked there for so many years are gone, and it is very difficult to find someone knowledgeable to help you. So many of the new young faces do not have a clue as to what used to make shopping at JCP enjoyable. I never dreamed a company that has been around for over 100 years will be going down the drain sooner than anyone would think. So sorry corporate know it alls can't see the giant mess and bad decisions they have made. I can't imagine they will be able to admit they made an enormous mistake and put the store back together again. I would very much suggest they rehire the majority of the wonderful people who knew what they were doing, and what retail is really all about.

i was going to quit shopping at penneys but i figure walmart where me and my wife shop sells beer and i dont agree with drinking alcohol and they are using our money we give them to purchase beer. but you have to eat. and ithink most grocery stores these days sell booze what are you gonna do stop eating? drinking alcohol is just as much a sin as homosexuality.and how do you know the stores you go to arent supporting homosexuality? they might not tell you. but if you shop there and they give some of your money to support homosexuality then i guess you are too and just dont know it. and no i dont agree with homosexuality.

I purchased my last item for JCP: More than the debacle Michael Francis caused by doing away with sales, Pennys' recent advertisements supporting gay rights offends me. Openly supporting a controversial minority group that makes up less than 4% of our population has turned off shoppers like me. I now shop at another department store in the mall that not only offers similar quality at reasonable prices, it is smart enough to not offend the majority of its customer base who opposes gay rights. JCPs survival revolves around rescinding its support of gay rights and getting back to traditional business practices that customers are accustomed to.

From Platinum to None-of-them!!!! That's all my right-wing conservative lips have to say! Sorry Rush is too controversial for you - apparently supporting alternative lifestyles aren't. Mr.Penney would be so terribly disappointed in his company today - remember he was tithing 90% to God's work - he stood for honesty, integrity, and morality. Like so many companies who've grown to corporate status Penneys has forgotten their roots. Sad, sad times - I hope they figure it out.

I have shopped at JCP for as long as I can remember. I am Christian and will not support sin. You support Sin by supporting a homosexual agenda. I will buy about $1000 worth of back to school today and other stores will be getting what would have been your $. Mark

NEVER purchase furniture on-line from JC Penny! More than two months ago, I purchased a "lift-recliner-bed" for $1,200.00 at the JCPenny on-line shopping site. It took one month to manufacture the chair, which was delivered to EXCEL Trucking in Aurora, Illinois. The chair sat in EXCEL's warehouse for a month, then was delivered to my address in Rock Island, Illinois, 24 July, 2012. I am elderly and disabled, and cannot sleep in a normal bed! The glowing description of this chair made me believe that it was the answer to my prayres! I waited two months for the chair to be delivered! I expected it to be the most comfortable sleeping chair in the world! It was like sleeping on a sheet of iron! It was like sleeping on a "ROCK"! I cannot describe my disapointment! I did cry! I called JCPenny Customer Service and requested that they refund my money ($1,200.00), and pick up the chair! To date (30 July 2012), they have ignored me! I have no pick-up and return date, and, I am paying 18% interest on the $1,200.00 dollars that they are keeping! I doubt that they will ever refund my money and pick-up their "hard as a rock" lift-recliner-bed! So, JCPenny has screwed this elderly disabled man royally! My advise is, DO NOT EVER PURCHASE ANYTHING FROM JCPENNY ON-LINE! I will cost you dearly! I am in the process of elevating this to Lisa Madigan, Illinois State Attorney General. This is all I have to say about JCPenny. Watch out! They will rip-you-off! Respectfully, Frankin H Cromer

This is to the CEO of Gay Pennys! Our Family has been brought up on Christian values and The Bible, You, Target, Nabisco Brands and others have Bullied Chik Fil-A who states their views and values! But your views are ok and no one should respond to them, but shaking your fist at God and the bible, he will remember it on judgement day but The Lord forgives dumb people like you.My Family and other relatives will never step in your store again and all the others. You have no moral values, and I bring my kids up so they wont have to be Gay it's not Born it's Learned!! And for this Ellen Degenerate, she needs to chill out!We were going to buy a complete houseful of furniture and appliances for our new home but Sears here we come!!

Dear. Mr. Johnson, Every Day Matters! Please search with your Heart, when your cutting Employee hours and Paychecks. They rely on what they get for a living just To get buy on. Alot of of them are good Employee's and worked for the J C Penny's Company for Years. Shouldn't they be awarded for staying with the With them. Customers like the Human touch and same Smilin face they accustom To seeing When they come to,k their favorite Department, they like. That what James Cash founded his Company on Fair and Square' Diversity and Family Values! Please keep them in your mind, Everyone Matters! Thanks!

JC Penney--You've lost our business once you decided to bow to the homosexual agenda. Condoning sin for any purpose will eventually bring God's judgment--for God is clear in His word about this sin and any sin--He will judge--unless we repent and believe on the Lord Jesus. Jude 7,"Even as Sodom and Gomorrah, and the cities about them in like manner, giving themselves over to fornication, and going after strange flesh (what is against nature/natural), are set forth for an example, suffering the judgment of eternal fire." I would also encourage you to read Romans 1:24-32--which clearly shows us how God views this sin. The God of the Bible clearly hates sin--any sin--but He loves the sinner and provided thru the cross of Christ, the way to be cleansed from our sinful condition forever--"for God is not willing that any should perish but that all should come to repentance"--2 Peter 3:9. Remember that God made Adam and Eve--not Adam and Steve. If He had made Adam and Steve we wouldn't be here--and you wouldn't be in business--Biology 101.

I used to shop at JC Penney frequently - mostly for clothes for my children when there were sales going on. I had not shopped there since your new pricing policy, but recently took my daughter there. I was extremely pleased. She got a swim suit and three tops for the price of $30.00. A deal that I don't think could be beaten anywhere. Shortly after that shopping experience, I learned about the June catalogue featuring two dads on the cover. I was very disappointed to learn this. I am not opposed to Ellen DeGeneres acting spokesperson for JC Penney, as she is not promoting a gay lifestyle in your ads. However, promoting a homosexual lifestyle on your catalogue cover is a different matter. It is a slap in the face to those of us who respect traditional and religious values. Despite the potential great deals, I will likely not be shopping at JC Penney in the future. I hope you will reconsider your public support and promotion of the gay lifestyle, as this is an offense to many who respect traditional lifestyles.

The Saturday after I turned 16, in 1970, I started working at JC Penney. It WAS a family oriented good company to work for and I have continued supporting Penneys all these years because of this UNTIL now. The people I worked with we're God fearing people. The Bible tells of what marriage is and what happens when People think their desires will not be noticed by God. Well God is watching just as He is watching each one of you in charge of a company supporting this. You could have remained neutral because when you made this decision you drew a line I will not cross. You have lost me as a customer.

I haven't seen the homosexual ads people are talking about, but I don't support them. However, it is refreshing to see ads that don't exploit women and teen girls with sexy bra and panty and swimsuit pics. When every ad had these pics before, I threw JCP ads directly into the trash. I haven't seen any "racy" ads in awhile and it's a nice change. I like the new pricing system. Overpriced before.

I have been a long time customer of JCPenneys all the way back to my childhood when our family received JCPenney catalogs in the mail. I am now 41 years old with a husband and two children of my own. I normally shop very, very heavily at Jcpenneys and currently am a platinum credit card holder. But, since January of this year, shopping at JcPenneys has lost its appeal. It is no longer a fun experience. I have spent nearly $1000 on clothes and shoes for my family at Kohls. It is fun to shop there. I like getting 15%, 20% or even 30% off and all the while earning Kohls Cash. I think I saw one of your commercials say "...and we don't make you come back." Well, here's the thing we LIKE to go back to Kohls to spend the money we earn. You have lost my interest in coming to your store FIRST when I go to the mall and unless you come up with some type of incentive,JCPenneys will NOT be my first choice. I am also saddened to see the recent push of homosexuality in your ads. Mr, J.C. Penney was a Christian, who would be outraged to see that you have turned away from the principles of his faith. If I continue to see it, I will no longer be shopping with JCPenneys. There are many other options out there as I am sure your poor sales has indicated.

Used to be a regular customer. Enjoyed the move toward making the store look high end with nicer brands. Went into Brea Penneys yesterday and was shocked by how tacky the store looked. Looked like Walmart! All vertical displays gone. All items looked cheap and were priced cheaply with gaudy signage. Went to MOntclair Penneys- same thing. I will not shop in a Walmart environment. Back to Macys where I always find beautiful clothing in an upscale envirnoment.Too bd you changed your strategy. NOt working.

JC Penney: I have shopped in your store all of my life and it was always my favorite place to shop. However, I have not shopped there for the last SIX MONTHS because of your liberal agenda concerning "gays". It is offensive to me to have this lifestyle thrown at me in this manner as I, like many others believe that according to the Bible, this way of life is wrong. (God said it is an abomination to Him). If your manager/CEO believes this is o.k., that is his choice. But PLEASE do not try to convince ME that this is a good and proper lifestyle (2 Moms, 2 Dads, etc.)when it clearly is not. I predict your eventual downfall from this decision, and I can only hope it was worth it to you. JL Hennen

I have been very disappointed with your marketing decisions for the past several months. Usually I'm a loyal shopper but now I see that you don't care about loyal shoppers and especially me. WOMEN WANT SALES -- ON DAYS THEY AREN'T AT WORK -- NOT ON FRIDAY -- IT'S WHAT WE DO. We buy for ourselves and family members. Many times we are the only ones doing the shopping and we know what is and is not in your store. Also, your inventory has been shifted away from middle aged women to small, sexy, young girls. Some of your standard brands (Alfred Dunner, Briggs, Lee Jeans) are being scaled down or eliminated and replaced with brands/styles that don't appeal to my age group or would begin to fit my figure. You need merchandise for all your shoppers. I no longer can order from a catalog or can find anyone to tell me how/if I can place an order. I receive a bi-monthly book but am not sure what to do with it. I see newspaper ads/flyers from your competitors but not from you. I agree you were sending out too many ads/catalogs before your marketing changes, but sending nothing is too much of a change. You aren't even on my mind now. I'm not confortable placing an online order on my computer because of all the hackers. Don't say your website is safe; other companies and banks thought the same thing. Hackers are professionals; it's their business to get our money.
