Who the hell came up with the screaming commerical ??? it Is annoying I have to change the channel and I won't shop there . The ceo must not be to smart to run a add like this . it is poor business . Oh my god....I am not alone! THAT STUPID AD YOU HAVE WASTED MONEY ON IS RUINING MY LIFE!!!! It just happened again while watching "King of Queens"....I had to run for the remote to change the channel...AGAIN....then I get caught up in something else and missed the end of the show I was watching before your obnoxious commercial came on. The screaming commercial is stupid. I havent any idea who thought this was good advertising. Exactly the opposite, everyone that I have spoken with agrees that they mute immediately. Several of them also agree that they will NOT go to Penney until this stupid thing is removed. Ultimately, your ads are paid for by us- the consumers. Get the hint- we dont like them at all!
I will NOT shop jcp until that offensive ad is removed. It makes my blood boil. If it is not removed soon, I'm ripping up the credit card and it's going right to the corporate office. What amazes me is that some executive actually approved this commercial.
FYI...ads such as this screaming insures that you will NOT have my business...and I have been a Penny's fan for a very long time. What in the world is your marketing people thinking???
Your new commercial is offensive. Plain and simple. How will I show my displeasure? My shopping dollars will go elsewhere. Then maybe you'll scream. Your marketing team should be fired.
I cannot believe that a company as large as JC Penney's could not come up with a better marketing strategy than that of a bunch of women screaming. I would have thought the advertising gurus would have come up with an intelligent way to get me into their store. Now I don't care if I shop there. There are plenty of other pleases to shop.

Your new ads are the most annoying thing on the tv please take the advice of all these reviews I've just read and take them off the air imediately. Also save your money on the new sale catalog or ad book that came this week it was awful. These make people not want to shop at penneys.
Whoever thought having an ad that promotes a major change in your stores would be most effect with bizarre people screaming should be fired -- whether it was the agency or the in-house JCP people who approved it. And I say this as a former JCP PR person! The ad is insulting on several levels. It is invasive of the home space that a TV inhabits, both in sound and imagery. It is insulting to women, playing on various inappropriate stereotypes -- the ones, I would take it, that you think are your customers, since they are the ones upset in this ad. This ad is confusing, as in what the heck is it saying. In its confusion, it certainly does not pique interest! Rather than triggering interest in the viewer's mind, it leads un certainty. At least as long as this ad or any related spot in the campaign is running, I am no longer a JCPenney customer. There's your result of this ad.
I change channels when that hideous screaming ad comes on. My wife and I will not shop at JCP while it continues to run. The corporate officers who authorized it to play should be fired.
Your screaming commercial is succeeding...it is so annoying it cannot be ignored and gives a brand connection. Unfortunately, we all have mute buttons and no one has a clue what the message of it might be...fail.

My rating refers to the worst commercial ever! Non-stop screams? Really? My husband just said "they keep running this commercial and I won't ever go to JCPenney's just because of it." Please, we beg you, stop running this ad.

The new commercial is so annoying that I am not sure I will be able to go into a store without thinking about the commercial. This may very well my last of shopping experience at Penney's.
What is JCP trying to prove with this ad? I have shopped for years there. That screaming ad has made my husband refuse to let me shop there, which doesn't matter as my son now screams every time I approach a JCP store. What is the idea? To terrify the public to stop shopping there? Even my 80 year old mom now longer wants to shop there because she is afraid and she was an exclusive JCP shopper. And THEN, I get this full glossy book which makes no sense in the mail. It makes no sense to me at all. Nothing I can understand, nothing I like, BUT Like I will shop there now? What happened to the old JCP advertising which enticed me to shop? This latest campaign makes me pretty sure I will never set foot into JCP again, online or off. Seriously!
I see there are already complaints about the screaming ad. It is one of the worst commercials I've ever had the misfortune of seeing. I WILL NOT shop at any Penny store while that commercial is airing. Who do you have in charge of promotions? I think a five year old could have come up with a better spot. TAKE IT OFF!!!!

What could the corporate-types be thinking by allowing this dreadful screaming commercial to air representing JCP? I've never written a complaint about a commercial before but this commercial needs somebody to take some action! I'm a baby boomer who has shopped at JCP since the mid-70's. I don't intend to shop there again. Since it appears that JCP is not listening to the hundreds of negative comments easily found all over the internet, I must assume JCP doesn't care about its customers. This commercial frightens my grandchildren AND even my cats who run and hide when it comes on. My grandchildren are horrified by grownups screaming. What's wrong, Grandma? Why are these people screaming, Grandma? What's wrong with these people, Grandma? Are they hurt? Are they angry? Are they sad? Why do they scream, Grandma? Well, children, you know how we always buy your clothes at that JC Penney store at the mall? The people who own that store thought we would like to go to their 2/1 sale if they showed us all these people screaming. But, Grandma, will there be screaming people at JCP? Well, children, you don't need to be afraid of screaming people at JCP because we won't be going to JCP anymore. IMO, JCP Corporate & advertising folks, this commercial is a BIG mistake.
