Upset with workmanship
I ordered carpeting in March and wanted it laid in April for my daughter's wedding. It was done on time but the seams down the hall were not done correctly. We called them and they came out and "fixed" it. The guy was here for 5 hours to fix 3 seams and they still look horrible and now there are 5 seams! He preceded then to tell me how to vacuum. It still looks horrible!! I have been in contact with a guy who wants to see if it can be fixed but he hasn't made it in over 3 weeks. I just want it fixed to my satisfaction. We love the carpeting and would like to buy more, but if we have the same problems, I don't want to mess with them.

ordered wood flooring to replace carpet. The product was delivered minus fifty per cent..."where is the rest of the floor?" .."Oh yes I'm sorry but three cases dropped out on the interstate..we'll order some more"...That was m y last contact. The store manager will not return my calls, and the installation company was unable to finish the job...Oh yes...Home Depot was prepaid...FRAUD ALERT!!!
FES
I am currently employed with the Yuma Home Depot and i am very dissappointed with management. I am a head cashier and am getting treated with no respect. I do not get acknowledged for postive things instead its negative. The FES here at 0402 is a terrible example for us head cashiers and cashiers. They tell me to look up to her and yet all she does is call out and leave early. How are we suppose to look up to someone who gets favoritism by upper management. I am ready to quit but am getting a lot of feedback about other associates getting treated as bad as me. This store by far is the worst place I have ever worked for. I am trying to go above management hoping that will make a difference. I hope by writing this that HR or someone who is employed by Home Depot corporate will help me out and eliminate all the corrupt people.
i just wanted to let u know i will never shop there again because i was treated so bad at the mall 205 portland oregon store. the staff there including the mgr, ryan are very rude and awful. i will let everyone i know how bad your customer service is. even if i have to stand in downtown portland and shout out how bad your staff is!
bath and floor tile
i was extremely dissappointed with home depot , they put me through a lot of stress, pain and suffering, they took for ever to come out to do my project, and every time they came out they told me to fix something before they could start my work , i did and another few weeks went by , they came out again and found something else wrong again, i have been with out a proper bathroom for almost 2 months , i was so stressed out for 2 months and also stressed out all my family members at home , i hired a private contractor and it was done in 4 days, i want wish what i went through even with my enemy , i will never make that mistake ever again.

I am writing today to tell you how disappointed I am that you have allowed media bias and prejudice to sway your decision to pull support for Paula Deen. This is not about my support for her. Its about your allowing the media with their own special interest and political groups to bully you into judging a person who said a word that has become taboo in our society-- Spoken over 20 years ago and has shown remorse. You don't know her heart and because of your lack of judgment in letting the media make your decisions for you, I will no longer support Home Depot. I can't help but wonder if it has been decisions like this that is leading Home Depot to struggle in the business world. Lowe's bring on the charge card.

Why is it your stores are closed at 8 on the 4th of July but your night crew has to work at 9 just when the fun starts. They were going to give us off if we worked Saturday but then they reniged. They said it was mandatory. im all ready gettin paid forthe day.from a confused pissed off eployee.
pergo flooring
I don't even want to give 1 start because my experience with Home Depot has been truly a freakin Nightmare. Waiting for someone to return a phone call was like pulling teeth I always had to call them. Waited weeks for floor to be ordered and arrive, Took for ever for someone to call me to set up an appointment to have it installed. 6 weeks later installer goes to install my pergo floor and it is all different lot numbers, white spots on the flooring and the ends were all messed up. Now I am trying to fix the problem. Will let you know.

I am appalled at your rush to judgment and your failure to forgive a penitent woman who has spent a lifetime building her business. She has earnestly apologized for something that she said almost 26 years ago. I hope Lowe's sponsors her because I will not purchase anything else from your company until you reinstate her.
OK, you've lost another customer. Shame on THD for taking the yellow-bellied lemming route by piling on beleaguered Paula Deen. Lowes or Ace will have all I need.
Outraged at your Decision
I am outraged at your decision to drop Paula Deen. You fell victim of the 'jump on the PC bandwagon' crucifying Paula for a statement that she made YEARS ago, spoken in a totally different regional, social era. She wishes she didn't say it; she apologized. I wish she hadn't said it. I find fault in that people of color refer to each other using the "N" word; they refer to Caucasians as "honkies" and "whities". You will no longer be my "go to" store for home improvements, paint or garden. I choose to patronize stores with more level headed, intelligent management.
Lousy Service
Ordered a storm door three weeks ago and still waiting for installation. Called store several times, on hold forever, and no one has called me back. It took 3 visits to store just to get the order right! Also bought outside lights that are not working properly. I find that products in Home Depot are inferior and probably second hand. Everytime I buy something from there, it usually falls apart in a short amount of time. Just want to get my door and call it a day. This will be the last time I buy from the store. Just not worth it!

I along with thousands of other wonderful citizens of the US are very disappointed with your decision to drop Paula Deen products. I have shopped Home Depot for many years and have used your stores for my business also. However, I will not shop with you anymore and I have stopped all shopping for my business with you. I have taken my business credit cards from my employees and we are now customers of Lowes. Paula Deen has been treated shamelessly and you have acted cowardly in not showing forgiveness for acts done many years ago and she has given sincere apologies. Just be very careful that somewhere and sometime, your company will face some type of allegation that will harm you. No one has a completely clean slate. Remember the hardworking people that she created jobs for that will now be out of business. I am also urging Lowes and other stores to pick up Paula Deen products. Paula Deen may be down, but she is not through. She is a strong woman who overcame terrible hardships before and she will overcome you also.
Lost my contracting business today
Gentleman to whom it may concern. My company averages spending between 70000 and 100000 dollars yearly in your stores. Today you have lost my business to Lowes. I am not a PD fan but your reasoning for dropping this ladies products is pure BS. Your customer base is nearly 90 percent if not more of the Caucasian variety. Before you go falling for the leftwing media blitz you smart guys should walk around a few of your stores and see just who your customer base is....so long smart guys. You might consider firing your Einstein PR team.
Parking in loading zone
I moved to North Port and needed new cabinets which also required a truck to haul them. I waited in line for 30 minutes to rent one. I asked the employee in the Port Charlotte Store at Cochran Blvd.(close to my house) if they have one available, he told me rudely I got to wait until it is my turn and then after 30 min.: oh' we don't have one!!! What a waste of my time!!!! A yes or no would have been no interruption of the other persons business. After I got my hubbies truck to load my cabinets, I had to load them in the rain while lazy contractors ( all made out of powder sugar) parked there to shop around for fun - yes it was Sunday yesterday and I doubt they had to run to a job. I am so done with Home Depot - I go to Lowes now, they treat me there like it should be. A loading zone is not for parking, Management does not care about that and dogs do not belong in there either - I have allergies and it makes me sick. May be I buy a camel and bring it into Home Depot - how about that!!
Thank God I have a Lowes close to my home. I will not longer shop at your store because of the way you treated Paula Deen. I am just a drop in the bucket, but if we get enough drops we will make a difference.
Customer Service
Someone really needs to check Home Depot #482 in Flagstaff, AZ. The Managers have no clue what they are doing and you can't find anyone with experience to help you because the experienced employees are working all kinds of odd hours.

Well your outrageous and disturbing treatment of Paula Deen means that I will no longer be a customer of Home Depot --- shame on you and your frightening policy regarding Paula Deens confession of using a word - yes a word - 27 years ago!! This is a serious, serious action your company is taking for a word spoken nearly 3 decades ago ... what is this America I am living in? Well it one in which I will no longer shop at your store or any other that have boycotted Paula products ... there are many other options out there in the community and online to have to give your company another dime of my money.
