working at the home depot is awful they treat us like we are nothing, the head cashiers discriminate against us, if you have the click you are treated very well but if you don't they treat us like crap. clearly hd doesn't care about its employees cause they have a high turn around with employees.

A disgrace. The Home Depot installers are sub contractors who have nothing to do with is marketed or promised at the store. It is taking over SIX WEEKS to get a in-stock door installed PLUS each call to the store takes atleast 10 minutes on hold to get an answer from an associate.."who cares about my important call". Yeah.

back in '08 I purchased what I thought was a quality stainless LG dishwasher based in large part on the recommendation of the home Depot Sales Associate...... what a piece of junk! I am on my fourth repair and without the promised extended warranty! Purchase price was around $750 with extended warranty...this is Asian marketing at its finest together with TERRIBLE customer service...

We lost everything in Hurricane Sandy. After our house was finally repaired, we went to Home Depot and bought a refrigerator, washing machine, dishwasher and stove. The dishwasher arrived damaged, they tried to slip it in without us noticing. We sent it back. The compressor on the refrigerator died on day 4, Home Depot did replace the refrigerator. One day 10, the front loading washing machine started leaking out the front. Home Depot will not replace it. They told us Maytag will come repair it. Repair a 10 day old washing machine? Way to take advantage of people who have already lost everything!

I currently work in HD for 6 months. And the management is horrible. They threaten us to get written up for customer or paint dispenser error. We get yelled at for taking a bathroom break and the supervisors take multiple hour breaks outside. My supervisor gets mad at us for asking for help when we get really busy. This is rrally not fair for us.

Folks... I love my Dripping Springs Texas - Home Depot and I shop there weekly because I do a lot of work. MY COMPLAINT IS WITH OTHER CUSTOMERS !!! The Loading Area is NOT Valet Parking! Take you lazy butts out to the parking lot where you belong. Walk to the store and after you make your purchase then proceed to move your vehicle to the loading area. Do not be so lazy and rude. Because we will have a problem if I have to wait for you to show up with your little bag when I am waiting to load my trailer!

Hello, I realize that I am a very small cog on a very large wheel but I believe I have a valid complaint. I purchased a $1000 door from you that was shipped on the 17th of last month. It spent five days in Chicago Heights, Ill. then and still six days in Spokane, Wa. and your customer support people first said it had not yet been ten days, then they told me to contact your carrier. Problem: It was and is over the ten day limit and I do not believe it is my responsibility to contact your carrier. Finally, I still have not received the door! Regards, Gary L. Sage Sr.

Ordered online the "Deal of the Day", showerhead for $49. Got to the page where they want your Credit card # and it shows the full price of $135.00. Went to Chat with Casey who said the price would change after I completed the order. Clicked on order and the price did not change. Went back to chat, which is now off line. Phoned customer service who said they would honor my request to cancel the order. They said the order would be cancelled. Wnet to check my crdit card statement online, yes the $135 charge is there. Three days later I get confirmation notice the item has shipped. Now I will need to drive 15 miles to return this thing to a store. Absolutely my last online order with HD.

I just went into the Lebanon TN store to see if I could order a Weber Grill that is not a stocked item. I did not want to order on line because I get a Veteran discount. The customer service desk woman advised me that it could not be done. No provision. As a result, I left and did not purchase other items that I needed. Went to Lowe's and got those items. Went home and ordered grill on Amazon.com. About the same cost, no tax and no shipping charge. Loser is HD, city, county sales tax revenue and maybe less employees needed at store.

I went to the store in East Hills (Bakersfield, Ca.) and was totally disgusted with the service there!

I am often at the 16121 north Dale Mabry store Tampa, Fla and purchase items. The prices are within range . Can You if at all possible have spring cleaning of your products in the Garden area that is covered in back I had to wash off the two wheel hand cart with your water all carts were really bad with dirt DO you ever take a fire Hose AND Clean and wash off those other outside products?? How can you sell completely dirty products that happen to be outside under the metal roof. Maybe you need to visit a local LOWES home improvement store to see they do put hand carts an expensive product they place theirs inside the A/C show room IT is summer now and spring cleaning I realize you have shortage of work hours for employees because of Americas now Depression. I will never purchase a major appliance from Home Depot again! I purchased a gas range from there with installation. The range was delivered on Wednesday without the installers. i called and was told that a plumber would have to install the range because of DC regulations concerning gas. Ok, well where is he/she? i paid for installation. No one told me it would be a different person to do this. They told me I would be contacted within 24hrs. On yesterday i called back and was told the agent made a mistake, it would take 48hrs to receive a call to schedule installation. Well, 48hrs are up and i still have two ranges sitting in my kitchen and no one has called me. This is unacceptable. I paid for a services and i expected that service! Never again. Now i am going to the TOP! Maybe then something will happen! Or maybe I should just call my local TV station.

I have just returned from serving on a disaster team in Moore, Oklahoma. Our services were being provided from the parking lot of your Moore Home Depot Store. How wonderful to see your employees, your managers and employees from other areas come and help those affected by the tornado. Their willingness to help in whatever needed to be done was GREAT! Thank you Home Depot folks for your work and help during this difficult time. Blessings!

I work the Oakland park store on the the hot dog cart and they were having a promotion giving free food away. all the stores did it but it was only suppose to be 11 till 1. but this store did it all day till 3. I get they want to sell there products but how can they take away my business all day like that I just think its wrong

I wont ever return to Louisville, Ky Preston Hwy location! I was treated poorly and was very shocked on treatment. Their staff needs to understand that the word is diverse, but that is their ignorance. Sad. I did not even get extras items i wanted when i came in there; I'm going to Lowes.

/we ordered door on April 16 will be here in a week or two. But guess what here it is a month later and we are still waiting. When we call there is always an reason. they can not fined them or half the bifold doors and rest is somewhere If your company can not get our doors here than just give us our money back we will go somewhere more dependable.

I just want to thank Home Depot for donating supplies and monies for the victims of in the state of Oklahoma. I don't have family or friends that live there, but if my state need it I could count on Home Depot. They would be there for us. Words couldn't be expressed more than they are now for these victims. Thank you again for your generous thoughts for the victims. Bless the victims.

I just purchased a riding John Deer lawn mower costing me over two thousand dollars without free delivery,because of this I had to rent the pick and go truck and deliver it my shelf.While pushing the mower offf,with help,the mower came down with so much force that I couldn't hold it and it caused me to fall back on my back and hit my head.I'am writing this letter to you just to bring to your attention that if someone spends this much money in one of your stores there at least be free delivery!!

Home Depot has lost a customer over poor customer service once again at the Allison Park, PA store. It takes forever to get someone to help and when you finally do - they can't help you because they "don't normally work in this department" (tried to order a replacement screen for an Anderson storm door which I purchased there) Also, the person they had working at the customer service desk "don't care" when I said I was almost ready to go to Lowes and buy a whole new door than put up with such poor service. Guess where I'll spend my home improvement money now?
