743 Reviews For Home Depot Headquarters & Corporate Office

We have been a service provider for several months for home depot in Michigan. We are now refusing jobs from home depot and they owe us a nice amount of money for the last four jobs that we have completed. I cannot get any answers or help from anyone. The office that we have been dealing with keeps on giving us the run around asking us to email work orders, email this, email that. They stopped answering are calls and stopped returning calls. We have done everything they have asked us to do. Now we are stuck, not sure who to contact next. I have a long elaborate email wrote out and ready to go to all personell. Customer service does not even know who I should contact. It has been months and we just want our money. They try to cheat contractors out of money, the field inspectors dont know how to measure, or order materials. Every job that we have done was a total disaster.

I've had a Home Depot card for many years. My husband is a union carpenter and we have done quite a lot of business with them over the years. When I first got the card, my credit was not that great.....not for any other reason than I had not had a very long credit history. I didn't apply for credit cards until late in life. Still, home depot gave me a card. I have never missed a payment........not one! My credit limit was $1000 and has been that for a very long time. I recently made a $700.00 payment on my card. Yesterday, I went to look online at my statement and it said I only had a $500.00 credit limit!! I called HD and they gave me a number to call. The person said on 12/10, a systematic update was done and a lot of people's limits were slashed or some people's accounts were closed all together. They said they did a credit report check on their customers and they go according to the credit report. Well, I had a lousy credit score when they gave me the card and through careful and watchful good credit card practices (I even subscribe to CreditScore.com), my credit score is now in the 700's. I asked why they would do that to a loyal customer....WHO NEVER EVER MISSED A PAYMENT....and he said there was nothing he could do. I hesitantly closed my account. I say hesitantly because Home Depot is convenient to me location wise. I told him it's awful they would do that to such a good customer, but there is Leows, Ace Hardware and plenty of other places to go. I'm devastated they don't appreciate my business. I have great credit now and I have no idea why they did this.

Danielle in the design Center in Oceanside, California store on Vista Way forged my name (spelled it wrong and used my nickname- when she signed it) on a credit card application- She enrolled my in the Balance Protector Plan which has cost me $747.00. I purchased $7200 worth of cabinets, paid my credid card off within the 12 months and now realized that I have been overcharged and Home Depot is doing nothing about except give me the run around. I've written a letter to the Gray, TN office and have yet to hear back. Filed a police report today! Very disappointed in the lack of customer service and follow-up after being a victim of fraud. Will never shop at a Home Depot again.

I am a former home depot employee. i can relate to many of the complaints by associates regarding store operations. I was employed only 10 months but i have never seen a company so intent on screwing its associates to favor their customers. On one occasion i was written up when i was requested by a customer to load their purchases when the store was jammed. i informed them that we have lot personnel to assist them. My thinking was they might not be aware of the lot associates and that the company ploicy requires certification and training to load the cars. i was written up for "refusing" to assist the customer. Last tuesday i was scheduled to work 10:30 am till 7. Another associate in gardens quit and i was asked to close. Lunch was at 1:30 pm and by 8 i was starving. I ate a can of pringles, snickers and a drink planning to pay 3 days later on payday since i didnt have cash on hand. I was fired for "stealing" and interrogated by someone i have never seen before using profiling techniques. I was recently informed that i was earning something like $450 an hour for the company and they couldnt wait 3 days for the $7.

Racial profiling and discrimination while shopping at Home Depot located at Home Depot #6546, 5900 HWY 6 South, Missouri City, Texas 77459,this afternoon. When Corporate Office allow Home Depot staff to practice racial profiling, then Home Depot is practicing vacarious racial discrimination. This experience does not merit Home Depot Values.(Respect for all people)(Building strong relationship)(doing the right thing(not excellent customer service)(treating people well). If Home Depot want to target me because of my race then they might as well post a sign on the front door. "WHITE ONLY". I am a Vietnam Veteran, an Elder in the Church, and can say i never stole not even a nail from Home Depot. I find it most insulting.

Thank you for taking the time to read this humble effort to express my heartfelt gratitude for the random act of kindness bestowed upon my family and me by a Home Depot Manager in Georgia. Though I'd shopped at his location recently to buy batteries for our electric clock, we did not meet. At this writing, the electricity in our apartment has been off for twenty-seven days (since November 2nd). I lost 90% of my fresh and frozen foods, and have only had FOUR hot meals the entire month of November. Because I'm not 65, I didn't qualify for the LI-Heap assistance this month. Every day for eighteen consecutive days, I called my home church, Faith Walk Ministries on Riverdale Road for help. NO ONE returned my call until Tuesday, November 22nd, when the Pastor's husband told me that there was no financial help available to help me with the GA Power bill. With the seasonal temperatures steadily decreasing, the multi-joint arthritis from which I suffer simply could not endure another night of bone-chilling cold and dark in the apartment I call home. I rolled all my pennies, nickels, dimes and quarters, and set out to buy a Hibachi to use for heat and to begin healthy eating again. After several online reviews of Kerosene Heaters, I called Home Depot, and gladly got to speak with Mr. Manny, a store manager. I asked three specific questions which Mr. Manny knowledgeably replied. And then, he answered questions I did not know to ask! Mr. Manny painstakingly pointed out the differences between each of the three models, to help me select the one best suited to my needs. There was a considerable difference between the price of the equipment I needed versus what I could afford.I was just about to give up when Mr. Manny graciously asked WHY I was so stuck on using Kerosene for heat. Thinking I'd never meet him, I candidly told him that after retiring last year, I begin my new job in mid-December, which unfortunately means I probably won't receive a paycheck until the New Year. We don't have gas service in our apartment, and Georgia Power disconnected electric service on November 2nd. I explained that I'd tried burning cardboard in a metal container, but the soot contaminated everything in my bedroom from ceiling to floor! I told him I simply cannot suffer through another cold North Georgia night. To my utter amazement and eternal thankfulness, Mr. Manny said, "Ma'am, on behalf of Home Depot and myself, I will reduce the price of the heater that most suits your needs. I'll leave it here at the Service Desk, so you may pick it up at your convenience." Tears of joy flowed from my eyes as I stumbled to catch my breath to let this wise young GENTLE MAN how profoundly he's positively impacting my life AND my disabled senior health! I am truly grateful that Home Depot trusts their Team Members to respond to acute, critical situations from time to time by doing something that may seem not very big at that moment, but that actually is a hallmark in the lives of other human beings! I hugged the cashier, I hugged Mr. Manny, I hugged the door greeter, and I fairly skipped to the train station! WOW! THANK GOD in Jesus Holy Name! I am so blessed!! God bless Mr. Manny for exercising his authority on my Family's behalf, and God bless Home Depot for being a real Corporate Citizen!! I am divinely thankful to Mr. Manny and Home Depot leaders for making place in our lives for such deeds.

I will not go into details as I have written a letter to Frank Blake CEO of Home Depot at 2455 Paces Ferry Road, Atlanta, Georgia 30339. I will say over the last 20 years I have spent between $50,000 to $70,000 at Home Depot mostly at the Tilly Mill store in Atlanta. I just spent about $18,000 on a kitchen re-model. The installers were great but there were so many blunders by the designer and expediter that I will never step foot in that store again! Loews will get most if not all of my business now. So long orange!

Home Depot is run by rude, ineffective people. The manager at the Soquel, California store, lawsen kilgrur is an idiot. When I went to purchase a drill marked 99.00 dollars the cashier said it was 199.00; when I stated that I wanted the drill for the price it was marked he called the part time manager; lawsen to his registrar. The clown posing as a manager told me home depot would not lose 100.00 dollars because of their mistake, as i stated that every other store where an item is mis-marked the price is honored. He then became rude and leaned toward me, putting his face several inches from mine. When i told him that type of action would land him in a fist fight, he stated that he would call the police, at this point I told him go ahead; he then stated that it would be on video tape, which I told him fine because the police would clearly see who was the aggressor. Needless to say he didn't call the police, at the time of this incident I was wearing a US Navy ball cap. Clearly the Home Depot doesn't honor service personal. Attention all Navy men, stop shopping at the Home Depot. You are Not respected by their part time fags.

I had purchased an outdoor Charm-Glow drop in grill from the HD and installed it after the 60 days was up because I had to wait for my masonary people to finish the patio. After using it for a mere 4 weeks, this grill looked like it's 15 years old! Rusted, burn marks and complete deterioration with every use. I called the HD, sent in pictures only to be told it is out of warranty with them and to contact Brinkman, the manufacturer. Well, after the same run-a-round with Brinkman, emails and pictures sent galore - they said HD is responsible and they make this grill for them. Why make a product you don't stand behind? Why sell a product you don't stand behind? I'm stuck with a 900.00 grill that looks like an antique and no one will take responsibility for this terrible product. The battle continues.....I will never buy anything again from either company. HD is a sham.....

Portland, Oregon Kitchen nightmare remodel started in June... Home Depot promised a three to five day job ... It's now November and looking for a December complete date.... promised comp. in the form of $$$ three months ago ... still haven't seen it. Called "Customer Care" ... that's a Joke. Project Manager won't talk to me has his sec. do lip service. DON'T USE HOME DEPOT FOR REMODELING It is a true nightmare.

I have had a HD credit card for over 5 years and never been late with a payment. I had some bad marks on my credit from years past when I applied for the card and was rahter surprised that I was issued one! I cherrised that card more than any I owend. I used it to the tune of about $3-$4 thousand a year. I made a payment (I always paid it off in full when it came due) on Oct 24th. On the 27th they decided to cancel my card and did not bother to inform me. I went to HD on the 29th to purchase a few items, The clerk told me my card was declined and that If I would pay my bills it would not have been declined. This was donme on front of severalother customers, I felt like a fool and was a little bit PO'd I paid with a Visa (My credit is far better now)so I could get out of the situation the clerk had placed me in. I called HD and ws informed that due to my PAST credit history from 7-8 years ago they decided to cancel my card, but I could reapply in 4-5 years if I would like! I will never grace the floor of HD again.

I never seem so many people be mad with this Homedepo store. But I blame the management and corporate for letting the management and. There pro desk is a joke that's why all the real pros at lows thanks gale on court street flint mi for the free stuff you gave my mother you can come pick up your. Money anytime thanks for the big$$$ saving

i am an employee of home depot and have been an employee for 9 years. I have closed many times and just recently i have opening. i was told that if i put down specific days i may not get "40hrs". I do not understand that because you would still need two days off. Almost all the employees do not like the new schedule system because everyone will be getting a short end of the stick.

ALSO MORE NUMBERS ARE: 1-800-430-3376 = ONLINE CUSTOMER SERVICE (VERY USELESS AND SCRIPTED RESPONSES) 1-800-654-0688 = CORPORATE CARE 1-877-467=3057 = HOMEDEPOT.COM CORPORATE RESOLUTIONS (CAN HANDLE STORE LEVEL ALSO) THE CORP. RESOLUTIONS IS NOT TO BAD, I WOULD GIVE IT A TRY. BUT THE MOST IMPOTENT THING I CAN TELL YOU IS TO STAY ON THEM AND BUG THEM LIKE YOU HAVE TO WITH WALMART. THANK YOU JERRY

We are amazed at the above reviews and I wonder if Corporate ever extend the common courtesy of replying directly to these complaints? We have just been "through the mill" on siding installed on our house by Home Depot. We are now waiting for the gutters to be installed. The actual installation work was done well, but the lack of an effective administration at your Home Services in New Jersey is absolutely dreadful. I will be glad to see this work over with, if indeed it does ever end, and I shall never deal with Home Depot again. Accordingly, may I say that I will NEVER recommend your Company to my friends or neighbors. Your Co-Ordinator at this facility should be fired.

Further to my statement just made on your site only minutes ago, can I expect the courtesy of a written reply or a 'phone call from HQ regarding my complaint? Your Home Services Center in New Jersey is so lax. You really should look into this problem area. I will never deal with your Company again.

I went to return two pieces of electrical plastic tubing...cost for 1/2 by ten foot length was $1.21 apiece. The sale showed up as a credit purchase when I had paid cash. They offered me a store credit and I relectantly agreed, however to do so they wanted my driver's license number which I refused to give them. After much discussion, I told them they could keep the $2.42 then reached over and picked up the tubing---which I still owned--and bent them in half so they were unsaleable. I am usually in the Homer Glen Illinois store 4 to fives times a week as I maintain four homes and a business. When I got home, I went to their $5,000 win site and expressed my unhappiness. I got a call a week later from the Homer Glen store and the girl said she was sorry for what had happened however that's their policy. I told her my policy was not to buy from stores where customer treatment is bad. I have not and will not return to that store---especially when there is a modern clean well stocked MENARDS right across the street. You lost a good spending customer Home Depot. Straighten out your act.

I am deeply saddened and disappointed by Home Depot's recent decision to move its "white collar" corporate jobs overseas to India. How dare the decision makers expect their domestic stores to thrive if all Americans are out of work. I guess store closings will be next as they relocate their Atlanta stores overseas as well - since India will have plenty of employed citizens with money to spend at Home Depot. I will never shop at Home Depot again and I will tell everyone I know that you are what's wrong with our economy. Shame on you economic terrorists! You are a traitor to the land that gave you prosperity and now you spit on America. Shame! I pray you go under. You deserve exactly what you reward your workers with - nothing. Stick that in your orange bucket you economic terrorist traitors!

I am very unhappy with the home depot in Homewood Ill. I've been comming to this store for years. I am a contractor and have an account with this store. Its ok for assocates to be moved around, but when u have to move your Pro desk associates it is jus bad management. I spoke with store manager Shawanna bout Eddie being move from Pro desk, she acted as if she didn't care. I think its bad Customer service to contractors that deals with certain Pro desk associates. Corporate office really need to look in to this. I will be either finding another store or other competitors. BAD CUSTOMER SERVICE!
