I am a disable vet and have a hot dog cart. I live in the Eastonm, Pa area and have sent e mails to you requesting to put my cart out side your store as do some many in different areas. The manager said I had to get Corperate permission do so. I have all that is need as far as insurance and will get my health cert when approved. But it seams that you can't take the time to send me an e mail to let me know if I can or can not sell there. Again my e mail is sjkokai@hotmail.com Do you think you can answer this question in a timely manner? Regards, Stephen Kokai

I had worked for a governmental entity in construction procurement for the last 5 years. As of June last, our department was closed which affected the employment of 4 professionals. I have extensive construction and warehouse experience, dependable, trustworthy, extremely hard-working with unbelievable customer service skills; not to mention, that I contribute any spare time, to several charitable organizations. Having an elderly mother and a disabled son who live in my home and are dependent upon my salary to survive, I have difficulty understanding the reasoning behind Home Depot's HR department not to consider my qualifications. What has happened to Home Depot with hiring qualified professional personnel? After careful consideration of the reviews on this page, I will redirect what I have to offer elsewhere.

Home Depot is the handy mans dream. I have shopped for building materials for years at home depot. I hate shopping as a whole, but could always go into a Home Depot and shop or buy. I have spent a lot of money over the years there. That now will come to an end. For some reason Home Depot has decided that they would branch from what they do best in providing quality building materials and also dabble in morality issues, or lack thereof. Home Depot is backing the gay agenda. Regardless of the opinions of the heads of the corporation, I think you should stick with what you do best provide quality building products. If you just do what you do best and keep the other garbage to yoursleves we would all be better off. You will not be getting anymore of my money as long as you work to destroy the family with your support of this agenda. Lowes here I come.

I worked for this company for 8 years and suddenly A manager began to give me problems. I started flirting with me to the point where he made it clear I would have to do things for him if I wanted my job. He told me he wants to stick his penis in my poop shoot and rub his cum in my nose. He then proceeded to tell me how he wants to defecate on my chest then have sexual relations with the feces on me. Once at work he came around the corner and shot cum on my chest while I was working with a customer and then grabbed my breasts then had sex with me right there on the counter in front of the employee. He then pulled out and shot sperm onto the employee then continued to have relations with both of us.

is it standard procedure for a new manager to come in and write up 40 employees for attendance infractions no matter for how minor or major to make a point and at the same time ignore abuse and other company infractions made toward employees. this company is out of control shareholders should invest their money elsewhere.may a union rep. please come and help us all these goons are out of control--- griffin,ga.0138 help

homedepot managers have no back bone they have no idea how they treat people that have worked for them for years the way they treat them there should be laws to protect the employees managers go bowling on company time call people in to work so they can take there favorites out to have a good time while the company pays for people to be bowling wtf wake up managers you are the ones that should get fired wife was fired cause she couldn't work the hrs she was hired for and for years she helped out if they needed help she was hired for part time they asked her to go full time so she did everything was good till this manager of 2 months comes in and starts pissing employees off homedepot is a joke

To Whom This May Concern, Please take note as all to often we hear of only the bad things that happen in stores today..... I was in the Hyannis, MA Home Depot Store approx 2 months ago and asked a couple of associates for assistance in the electrical aisle.....to no avail neither of the employees cared to assist me and I walked away disappointed then making a trip to another store off Cape and received exemplory customer service. Come to find out these 2 individuals were from the Met Team and not our regular customer service reps from the Hyannis Store. This has been on my mind for some time. I go into Home Depot often and purchase on a regular basis as I manage properties and found this very refreshing. Approximately a week ago I went into the very same Home Depot in Hyannis and found an associate in the Tool Box aisle, his name was Omar S. He greeted me with a "smile and Good Morning" as when I am in the store most of the Hyannis employees greet me with courtesy greetings! He walked me through the purchase of a toolbox for my family and asked me if there was anything else I needed assistance with, as I had a list with me and he showed me where all was and walked me right to the register once I had gotten all on my list! How customer service orientated is that?!! WOW! Oh yes, he even put items into my cart that I could not reach or handle!! To my surprise, he is a member of the Met team also I found out while speaking with him through my shopping trip. There should be more trained individuals like Omar in your stores and shopping would be beneficial to men and women alike, that go there with a purpose and don't want to dottle all day!! My great thanks to all of the Hyannis employees over the years and months, they have a customer service orientated team and wish them all 100% cudos as well to Omar from the Met team. I don't know what you have going on with your employees as far as benefits for being so customer friendly, though would like you to know you should keep up the programs!! Thank You Home Depot! 5 Stars for the team!! and no (0) stars for the first 2 employees from the Met team I encountered. Sincerely, Deborah Gorgonne Others that have given exemplory service are.....Sarah, cashier, John, cashier, Gwen, customer service returns, Ryck, Home Services, Lorna, Home Services, Randy, Electrical, Raj, customer service, and these are the few that stood out! Thank You all once again for making my shopping @ Home Depot a pleasure.

The Home Depot on Thomasville Road in Tallahassee, Florida, is staffed by exploitive and misleading individuals. I purchased, easily, $10,000.00 worth of home remodelling items from them late 2010. One of the items I purchased was a double master bath cabinet, and the cabinet top. Since thier cabinet dept. is supposedly made up of experts in the field of cabinets, I relied on them for their guidance and opiion. The Home Depot cabinet maker came out and strongly recommended to me that I make the cabinet four inches higher than usual, that it was what everyone recommended because it is better on your back, etc. etc. The cabinet maker assured me the cabinet would not be any higher than 4 inches taller, and no higher than my kitchen counter. I followed his advice. It took Home Depot at least three months to install the cabinet and the cabinet top. After that, a plumber had to come out and install the hardware and plumbing items. Other items were installed in my home by Home Depot throughout that span of time as well. Months later, when I finally was able to get everything done in the bathroom and I started to use the bathroom, I found out the new master cabinet is a gigantic master bathroom cabinet. it is extremely inconvenient for me to use. I am 5'1" tall. The cabinet is 36-1/2" tall, a full inch taller than my kitchen counter! Your local staff, Jeff Shaw, Store Manager, Alfredo, Manager, and the kitchen cabinet men, Francis and the installer, Joe, are all denying they made the recommendation, or they are saying that 36-1/2" in height is now standard everywhere. They are insulting, arrogant, and rude. What has happened to Home Depot? Where have Arthur Blank's principles gone to? When anyone sees me, it is very obvious I am a petite woman. That they would recommend a 36-1/2" cabinet to a 61" in height person, is ridiculous! They obviously highly recommended the higher cabinet because their profit margin was more important to them. I want to meet with the District Manager for this area, one-onb-one. Is someone going to respond to this complaint from Corporate Headquarters? ATTENTION EVERYONE. IF YOU DO NOT WANT TO BE MISLEAD AND TAKEN ADVANTAGE OF BY VERY RUDE, EXPLOITATIVE INDIVIDUALS, DO NOT GO TO HOME DEPOT. GO TO LOWE'S. Vita Boyle

I recently worked for the home depot in El Paso TX but i quit 4 days ago because i was harrased. I saw a dryer that was marked down so i told my wife to purchase it so she did. She paid and signed a contract with them. Five days after she bought it the store manager called me to the back office and tells me, what did you buy from us, i said i didnt buy nothing, why? He says, "you bought a dryer and i want it back, its not yours." So i tell him youre right its not mine my wife bought it. Well i want it back because its not yours, he said that my dryer was another that they had in another aisle. The dryer that was in the other aisle i had seen it sitting there for at least a month with no sales tag or nothing that would suggest it was for sale. Now we left it at that and i went back to performing my duties so he call another associate to write up a sales price for the other dryer and calls me and tells me that the notice of sale was inside the dryer all this time, but that was a lie because i saw him printing that sales note and prior to that i had checked inside to see if the price tag was in it and it wasnt. The thing that i dont quite get is that why did they tell me instead of calling the purchaser? I didnt buy it, i dint sign for it so why did they harrased me? All i can think is that they know they made that mistake and they know if they had called the purchaser, they woulnt get it back since the deal was made.So they tried telling me (since i work there)kind of saying well if we dont get our dryer back you are going to be fired or layed off. The store manager decided to ask another associate to tell me to return the dryer because it wasnt mine.If he would of asked(store manager) me nicely when i walked in the back office that he had made a mistake and that he would give me another dryer or even store credit, i would've probably give it back. But since he demanded and made me feel like i had stolen it then he wont get nothing but a law suit for harrasment.

Home depot does not follow through on complaints. I had to wait 2 months before my hardwoods were installed. Problems galore. Inferior wood that did not match the sample. Inferior installation that caused a hazard to people who walked on my floor. The installation was so bad that I had to have the floor removed and a new one installed by a lumber company. This was quality work, quality wood and it only took 2 weeks. I went through the channels of filing my complaint. Home depot would not admit to the poor workmanship....they check it out and then tell you nothing is wrong...I wrote to the ceo and sent pictures of the poor workmanship in December. I have not heard a response yet.....from anybody......they are terrible!!!!!!

I recently ordered over 4,000.00 of kitchen appliances. My order was supposed to get a 200.00 rebate for ordering 4 items. I received 100.00 and wrote an email asking for the other 100. I received an answer after 3 emails. I would get a 125 rebate in my email for my troubles. I received this as a phone call and email. The email follows: Dear Mr. Ben xxxx, Thank you for your email to The Home Depot Online Customer Support. We sincerely apologize for the previous email and confusion. For your inconvenience we have submitted you order for the amount of $125.00. We will forward it to your email, please be advised that it will take 24-72 hours to receive your gift card. If you need additional help or have any other questions, you can simply reply to this email, or call us between 5 a.m. and 1 a.m. central time daily at 1-800-430-3376. Sincerely, Fiona I've never receive any rebate and no matter how many emails I send back I never receive any response except the automated one that lets me know they rcv'd my email. I've spent close to 10k last year at home depot and probably will try Lowe's for awhile.

received a coupon in mail of no interest financing for 12 months,, 1.if I want to buy an appliance I can go to Best Buy and get as good or better price and 18month no interest..2. my closest Home Depot is 80 miles away and you don't deliver in my area if I buy online..3. I have a Lowes here in Ardmore Ok and they had poor service but after a few emails they now have more checkouts open and no self serve checkouts.4. The self checkouts put people out of work and cost a lot of money so where are you saving money?? 5. Every time I use the self checks they make errors or something so then I have to wait in line at customer service to get it corrected so how does this save time..6. I've filled out your surveys and see no difference in stores...

I will love to complaments the managers at home depot on queens glendale new york great customer services for the past 6 monts. I purchased a cordless tool online that when opened had been previously opened then resealed. There were missing parts, so I sent a email to online customer service. What a joke, after identifying the missing parts I was asked by one their brilliant employees if I received an empty box.......after being told the parts were being shipped, I was told those parts didn't come with the tool. Round and round we went, in the end I was told I could keep the item as is missing the parts that would end up costing me another $30.00 or return to a store for credit. They would not provide UPS pickup, I would have to drive 30 miles to return to a store. I WILL NEVER SHOP HOME DEPOT AGAIN. If enough people shop elsewhere, when it hits Home Depot in their pocket they will listen to the feedback. GO to LOWE's.

I just came from the Home Depot in Laurel, Maryland and whatever they are doing keep it up. Every employee I encountered had a smile and said "good Morning". Natalie at the self checkout was great and very friendly. I remember several years ago when I really hated going to that store because it always seemed as if it was a burden to answer a question and that was only if you could get someone. There has been a remarkable turn around with the employees over the past 2 1/2 to 3 years. Whatever is being done keep it up because I have been in the service business for over 40 years so I know a little bit about customer service and you have it right. Now do not let it go...Thanks 1/8/2012 Sunday

I worked at HD for 3 years. Home Depot is the worst in employee satisfaction. The management is untrained and unequipt to handle problems. there is no Human resources in store, employees have to call an aware line to get anywhere. Reporting issues to management is like reporting to a child. they take the information into their management meetings and laugh about it. Most managers are just floor employees that learned to kiss some behind, and are promoted to manager..no training required. And Prejudiced!!! I can't begin to tell you how bad it is. There are NO female, black or hispanic management in the Massachusetts stores. And if you file a complaint, you are retaliated against. The annonomous Call line. is recorded and played back for the managers. Tell me how that is annonomous? When you work with people everyday, they recognize your voice. Worst Company to work for EVER!

My husband is an floor manager at Home Depot. He was at work setting steel beams when one fell and busted his head open. Not only was an ambulance not called,he lost alot of blood, but another associate actually told him he didn't need stitches! He was sent home to take a shower and told to return to work . Fortunatly I convinced him to go to the hospital where he received 8 stitches, but he was still asked to return to work. He has worked 5 hours over what he was supposed to. I may be wrong, but isn't this ethically and morally wrong? He even informed his supervisor that he was feeling unwell, and all that was done was he was assigned more work, since no one did anything for the few hours he was in the ER. All my husband has done is bore me to death about how much he loves this company. He comes in on his days off,and works late, does everyones work for them so they don't get in trouble, and goes above and beyond everything he's ever been asked to do,so it would be great if it didn't continually screw him over.
