Went into my local HD store in Canoga Park, CA at lunch time. It is 100+ here today. Walked around the tool dept no one around. Caught a young lady and told her what I was looking for. You could have knocked me over with a feather. She did not work in that dept. Knew the item and location. Spent $540.49. When you find a great person my policy is to tell the company. Went to the Mountain Home, AR Home Depot yesterday, to pick up more flooring, and wood to finish my kitchen. My husband headed off to get the wood and have it cut, (Thank you Kane, you are AWESOME, back to the story, I headed to the the Flooring Dept, and was rudely ignored by JOHN, for 10 minutes even after another employee let him know I was still waiting,(thank you Liz you ere very nice)I am sure NOTHING will be said to JOHN because here, thing are ran by the "Good 'Ole boy System".

Home Depot, Bayamon, Puerto Rico \. On may 21 2012, I bought a 5 gallon pail of ultra Berh paint. The one that comes with the primer. I used it all and I needed more because it was not enough to finish my whole house. Anyway on July 9th I started painting the house. On July 10th I went to get some more paint and got 2 gallons of the same color I used the piece of paper they give you with the information of the paint that you bought before. The terrace had been painted about 1/3 of the wall, so the guy started painting the terrace and notice that the paint did not match well, but he kept on painting because he thought it was still wet and the terrace was big. Then I started doing the finishing touches to the front wall had been painted earlier and that when I notice that the paints did not match at all. Now I have a few different color patches and finishing touches on the front wall. I dont konw what happen but I expect and explanation and a refund or new paint when I go to the store and complaint about what happen to me. I don't want to paint the whole house again. I have tried to get the address and phone number of the corporate headquaters so that I can complaint about this issue. Thank You.

I ordered new windows for my house through Home Depot. The sales person came to my home and showed me a VantagePointe window 6500. The window I was shown had grids (I now know what that is) which was the type of window I wanted for my home. I did not want the 6500 VantagePoint window but instead chose the 6100 VantagePoint window which she (Venus Spradling) said was identical to the 6500 window but had one lock on it instead of 2 locks and there was a transferable warrenty which I didnt want to spend the extra money on. She then wrote up the order and measured windows. What I did not catch on the several documents I signed was she wrote No Grids on the order. Even if I had seen it I would not have known at that time what she was talking about. When the finally did the install I asked the installer why the windows did not have the square grids on them. He said it was the way she had ordered them. So what it all boils down to is even if they show you a item and say this is what your window will look like if they make a mistake on ordering YOU will be the one that pays the price. It was the first time I have used home depot for this type of work and it is the last time.

I am now a loyal Lowes customer. I don't think Home Depot will even care. I have so many complaints about my last purchase that the saga couldn't fill this space. HORRIBLE HORRIBLE HORRIBLE!!! I dare HD to contact me and ask me why! Pretty sure they won't. I rated them 1 star because there wasn't anything lower.

I go to the Depot to replace my handles in my kitchen cabinets they carry the same Handel but in silver. So i ask if it can be ordered in brass color ? Well as usual the answer is NO but why I thought Has Home Depot got so BIG that they can't order something in a different color what is wrong with this??? Home Depot doesn't have it you don't need it and we won't order it!!! Go to a local hardware store and they will order it . GOOD BY HOME DEPOT,!!

LET ME START OFF SAYING HOME DEPOT CUSTOMER SERVICE IS FUCKED UP I BOUGHT A PVC DRAIN PIPE IN WHICH IT WAS NOT IN THE SYSTEM THE MANAGER, SO SHE SAID THE PART WAS NO CHARGE BUT THE CASHIER CHARGE ME ANYWAY, AND MAY I ADD SHE OVER CHARGE ME ASS WELL. I THEN CALLED OVER TO YOUR PONCE DE LEON STOR THE GUY NAME JOE. EMPLOYEE, HELP ME WITH THE PRICE OF THE PART REALIZING AT THAT POINT I WAS OVER CHARGE AND WENT BACK TO THE STORE IN SW ATLANTA ON CASCADE RD. I got a toilet and paid for delivery and installation. It was delivered the next day but i have to wait FOR A WHOLE WEEK TO BE INSTALLED. Because it's a toilet it should have been called in immediately for installation day and time BEFORE taking a customers's money. (I should have called roto rooter instead.) A toilet not running makes an extra health condition. You would think Home Depot's company would make this installion more of a precedence than someone's furniture being delivered and/or installed. YOU CAN'T GET GOOD HELP ANYWHERE EVEN IF YOU PAY FOR IT......NEVER AGAINNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNN!!!!! A TOILET IS ALWAYS AN EMERGENCY!!!!

I bought a kitchen from a store in manchester CT and the guy who was helping me out there was Tony. When i was buying all the stuff the guy was the nicest person ever, as soon as problems came out on their end the guy became a rude person making everything seem like it was my fault and getting no help at all. i was homeless for two months with a NEW BORN BABY because we had no way to cook. Even now we are back home and the kitchen is still not done and who knows when it will be finished. I am sick of this alredy they are the ones who send their people to make all the plans and measurements and then he gave me a list of the appliances to buy to fit the cabinets and now this guy Tony is telling me i baught the wrong stuff. this is crazy my last chance to get anything done is to see my lawyer and go to the newspaper, everyone told me don't go to home cheapo yes, people are calling it home chepo and thats what they are!!!!!! They will get whats coming their way if they were smart they would fire this Tony character and took care of bis.

I'm a veteran living in San Juan Puerto Rico and was denied the 10% discount. The managger did no give is name. There are Veterans that have ID and there's veterans that have only the Form 214 and /or veterans hospital papers.The man wanted to see a military ID with a foto. I was told the ALL VETEANS have the benefit of HD for the 10% discout active or have serve all military branch. I serve with pride in the ARMY in vietnam and europe for 12 year. Home Depot must inform its employees more about Veterans benefits.

We ordered flooring for our restaurant remodel on 6/13/12 from the Home Depot in Thatcher, AZ. Our estimated delivery date was 6/20. OK estimated...they called on the 20th to say it would be in on 6/28. Called them on 6/28 because no one called us. Sat on the phone an hour and a half being transferred back and forth to the order desk. Finally one of the operators set the phone down on her desk informed the person next to her not to let anyone hang up that phone, walked back to the flooring department, talked to a girl named Angela came back and told me she was transferring my call to her. Angela did some checking and could not find where Armstrong shipped it. By then it was after 3pm so I assumed Armstrong was back east and they were gone for the day. Angela assured me she would check into it and personally call back. NOPE....My husband gets a call this morning, it's lost in Tucson somewhere and won't get to them until next Thursday. I called HD back to find out what is going on, to late, Tina in expediting was out to lunch at 10:30 this morning. So I called corporate. Nice guy on the phone trying to handle the problem. Gets the mgr on the line, the flooring is at a truck terminal in Tucson and they only deliver to them on Thursdays. Meanwhile, our plumber is scheduled to put in pipe Monday, he can't do that until the baseboard is on, can't put the baseboard on until the vinyl is down and the plumber has a huge job coming up next week and won't be available until close to the first of August. Meaning our restaurant is down another month. We had a truck ready to pick this up yesterday, 12'x25' roll of vinyl will not fit in my little Infinity G35. Truck owner has left for Show Lo until Saturday. Trucking company is not open Saturday. Waiting for the HD store mgr to call me back. I wonder if he will think to have it delivered to a store in Tucson? Guess I am going to have to call him back!

My husband and I just returned from our local Home Depot, purchasing a washer and dryer. The two sales professionals that we were blessed to encounter were amazing representatives for your company. Matt (Appliances) and Elena (manager) at the North Avenue store in Chicago need to be commended for their excellent customer service skills as well as their dedication to making the customer pleased with their purchase. Matt continually went out of his way to make sure we were buying the most appropriate appliances for the best price possible. His knowledge and expertise, of all brands, was astounding. Thank you for hiring such well educated and helpful people. We will continue to put Home Depot at the top of our list for first-stops when shopping!

Saw a district manager named Larry, in a S. Ft. Worth store act like a complete idiot. He was very rude and non caring about an associate he was talking to. I am a contractor and I have moved my business to Lowes. I will not shop in a store where the company treats its associates in this manner.

I have been trying to get a door since January it is now June 4 doors later and i still do not have a door - have been speaking with corporate since april and they have done nothing either - i just dont get it - when you speak to the workers they say co5rporate dont tolerate it - well then whats the problem - they are doing anything for me - home depot, paterson, nj

AVOID AVOID AVOID...........They date their bills and delay mailings, allows only 10 days max to pay off minimum due, date on bill after date they use as cutoff, if not received the tack on $25.00...WATCH YOUR BILLS..........GREAT SCAM. Bill dated May 22 2012, mailed from St Louis MO...Received in MA Jun 01 2012...Payment due by June 18 2012 per Home Depot Customer Service yet bill states closing date June 21, 2012. This company is a joke! I am paying off my balance and will take my business elsewhere! I own income property and had been a valuable customer....this new scam is losing me!

I enjoy shopping at your stores for items that I do not require assistance, if I have questions I normally know more about what I need than your employees. But overall your stores have made it easier to shop. My one peeve is the lack of people to check customers out. I went into a store today and the only registers open were the self check out. I am not a fan on them and refuse to use them. When I asked for a checker they reluctantly helped out at a lane that did not have a light on. When I asked why the light was out they said it was not working. Kind of funny you would think a Home Depot would have a light bulb. Your self check outs are taking jobs from people that could use one. If all of use stopped using them I am sure we would see more workers at your stores.
