The Home Deport store in Holbrook, New York is about the worse manger I ever seem. As aretired plant manger of one of the biggest machine plant in this Country ,I had ber three hundred mackinest working for me. If I ran my plant like the mangar in Holbrool,NY We would have gone broke. The employee are coplaining to the customers. As a result I will no longer buy ijn Home Depot. And I will discuss this with all the Contractor I know
I went to Home Depot on Monday Oct. 1, 2012 and purchased a Dishwasher and asked for it to be delivered and installed with the 3 year warranty and I asked the guy 3 different times the last being before he swiped my card did you put everything on there? I was told yeah and he swiped the card told me Thursday Oct. 4 it would be delivered and installed. They show up drop the dishwasher in my kitchen and left. I went to Home Depot angry and spoke to a manager the guy who checked me out did not put the install on there even after asking him about 3 separate times about everything being on there. So I spoke to a manager and he arranged for them to come out and install the dishwasher said someone would call me, they called said Saturday they would install, okay they come and install Saturday Afternoon and then the Dishwasher will not work, it will not let the water into the machine they pour water into it and it drains it but will not let water into it. They call someone and they say we will get you a new one and install it. Today Monday Oct. 8 I get a call saying they will be out Thursday Oct. 11 to install the new one and hall off the one that does not work. Now, Why am I the one waiting and suffering when none of this is my fault or is it for going to Home Depot in the first place? I think if it had been done right on Monday Oct. 1, 2012 I would not still be waiting for something I have already paid for..
I have been buying from Home Depot for many years, but as of today I will not go back.I bought flooring for a whole house. I was given a price WHICH WE AGREED on. When I get a price from their quote department it is four times higher. They now tell me that that price was only good on special order flooring and not in store flooring. We were never told anything like that. All they can say is we are sorry for the mistake. I hopw everyone reads these posts. If they do they will not trade at these rip off stores.
The customer service at Home Depot is a joke. I had an issue in the Atlanta, GA area where the store manager did contact me about a problem I had with a piece of their merchandise I purchased. He called and seemed so concerned and he was going to do this and that. Bottom line He did NOTHING only offered lip service. So like I mentioned at the beginning of this post...Home Depot has NO customer service.
called home depot on military drive in san antonio texas to talk to a manager regarding a paint order. they hung up on me TWICE. they refuse to talk to me, but i am taking the paint back because they messed up on the order and used the wrong base. so for the cost of 3 five gallon buckets home depot is going to miss out, because we own 204 units and they always need painting. do the math losers!
My disabled husband needed some lumber and so went to home depot in Longview wa. Taking our 3 yr old granddaughter with him. They get to the store and 2 employees stand by and watch him and my granddaughter load the wood on the cart with no offer to help. Then they get to the ck out and my husband who is so mad tells the cashier what poor service they have and she argues with him! Then has the gall to ask the 3 yr old to hold the cart still for her! Which my husband then asks if she needs to have a child do her job for her! They get ckd our and guess what! No one comes forward to help them load it into or truck! If you wonder why longview wa store loses business this would by why? Try teaching some customer service skills! They need all the help they can get as we will not be back !
ordered a Refrigerator from HD intersection Medlock Bridge rd and Jones Bridges road in Alpharetta. Deliver service deliverd a GE crap product - door would not close. Delivery guys left knowing it was defective. Call HD that day, Had to wait a week for a replacement that never showed. I was out of town so had to hire a handy man to wait for the refrigerator 7 hours. Worst service ever. Now I can not get them pick up the darn thing and they have not refunded my Visa charge. Do not under any circumstances buy anthing from this store or HD period. No corporate ethics, no local leadership
CORRECTION on my post. My husband is an "honorable discharged" veteran. He served 6 years. I checked out the VA ID. They do not put your that you are disabled on your ID card from the VA.
Ordered 2 doors to be delivered from the Laurel, MD store. Number 2571. Store Manager Paul Wilkenson. Called pro desk to check status of delivery as it was noon and no doors. I was told the doors would be at my home by 1pm. at 2:30 still no doors. Called pro desk again but this time they left me on hold for over 30 minutes. Called store on another line. Spoke to associate and was told the pro desk was "DUCKING CALLS" asked to speak to a manager and was told no manager would come to the phone. Home Depot, you were quick to charge me $75 for delivery but what about actually making the delivery???? Worst experience ever from Home Depot...I knew I should have gone to Lowes!!
This company contracted us to provide services on their store. They will not pay their bills and refuse to resolve. On one job alone we b$7500 worth of special order pipe to meet their spec, and they think they can jsut steal our services and materials. BEWARE DONT DO WORK FOR THESE THIEVES.
I have been working on my home since March and I want you to know that the employees at store #119 on Bobby Jones Expressway in Augusta GA are all outstanding. There are a few I would like to highlight as they have been wonderful, friendly, careing, honest, patient, understanding, and they are at the top of your company in my book. I have spent srveral thousand dollars in that store from paint, carpet, 4 kitchen appliances, a rug, interior doors, hinges, ceiling compound, tile, glaze, grout, brushed, buckets, sponges and anything else we might have needed to do the remodle. We have upgraded our home and brought it up to code as it was built in 1978. I have referred several people to this store as they are so careing. Let me list them: Brigette Williams-Garden Shop, Linda Martin-Appliances, Debbie Wilson-Returns lace in my heart for such good customer service and I feel like they are a part of my family now. The house is finished and my husband and I are setteling in great, but this would n ot have been possible wiDesk, and one of the most important is Antonio Dean. They each have a special palace in my heart, and I will not go to any other store for any items we will need in the future to make our lives a little better in our retirement. If I could give a million stars I would and I hope each one of these associates gets recognized for what good folks they are. Sincerely. PT
Veteran's discounts is a JOKE. It states "honorable discharge" when in fact the employees will argue with the Veteran because it does not say "disabled" on their VA ID card. My husband is a dishonorabled Veteran, and is 30% disabled although it does not state on his ID card. As long as they a have a valid ID card from the Veterans Administration it should be honored. Therefore, you can go to Lowe's and the honor ALL veterans.
home deport managers are really rude they want to call police for no reason they want to belive ther empolyees when they have a complaint , some one of the employees drinks when he go to break and lunch and when he was turn in they never did anything to them so why fired ish and every one who stole from homedepot because they didnt do anything not like a empolyee that drink when he gose home and on lunch and break then come back to work,,, why fired a manager for have sex with a empolyee because he was a key holder if that the case why dnt they fired that empolyee for drinking on the job and when he go on luch i wouldnt want no one to help me if he is smelling like a liqor bottle...
I love Home Depot. I am a widow . I have absplutely no mechanical knowledge.recently, my weedeater stopped working. I took it to home depot, they were kind enough to tell me which part I needed. Then, he put the part where it belonged after I purchased it . Now, I need new carpet.Where am I going ? To Home depot. I need hem to Measure, move furniture and install a carpet that I have already selected.
I just want to say that the new facility you are building in McDonough, GA (1,000,000 sf) on a two-lane highway (SR 155) is one the most irresponsible decision I have seen a company make. You decided to build on properity that does not provied rail service and on a two-lane highway (SR 155) already crowded with traffic. I travel this road twice a day every week day and have been stuck in traffic for 2+ miles trying to get to I-75. What idiot decided this would be a better solution to the Braselton location needs to be relocated, too. In today's enviorment we are trying to protect what land we have and you come into a community and 'rape' the land. You and Prologics. I haven't spent a dime in your store nor do I intend to. You have no reguard for the value of nature or the people who protect it.
In May of 2011 I purchased a Brinkman (Pro Series)gas grill at Home Depot in Penfield,NY. It is now September of 2012 and the burners are rusting out (they are made of stainless steel?). The parts are warranted for 2 years, so I called Brinkman's customer service number to get replacement parts under warranty. I was asked if I followed Brinkman's "proper care and maintenance" as prescribed in the owers manual which include (after each use)cleaning all interior parts with soap and water, and then coating these parts with a light coat of vegetable oil. Also the grill "MUST" be covered when not in use. I asked if the cleaning included the actual burners and was told yes, they should be wiped with a damp cloth and coated with vegetable oil. I said "you must be joking, no one would ever do such a complete cleaning and oiling job after "each" use. Therefore the warranty would NOT replace any parts. The entire grill (inside and outside) is rusting and at most will last another year. The grill that this Brinkman replaced was "about" 20years old and not worth repairing. This Brinkman gas grill is a piece of junk. What I don't understand is why Home Depot would risk their reputation by selling such shoddy merchandise. The replaced the defective burner at Home Depot. The new burner does not work well either only part of the burner lights you use a match to get the whole burner to work, complete junk! Home depot shame on you! Brinkman; see if I ever buy anything with your name on it! Buyer "always" beware, there are WOLVES everywhere. Time to buy a new grill somewhere else, not Home Depot! I won't buy anything at Home Depot until they discontinue Brinkman anything from their stores.
I actually went to this web site to get a phone number for headquarters so I could call and make a complaint. After reading about everyone else's complaints I realize Im not the only one who walks in to a home depot, can walk up and down several isles and never have one employee ask if I need help. Then you walk up and down the isles looking for someone to help you and they act like you are bothering them! We have been making home improvements over the summer and I have needed things from home depot several times and every time I go in their store it's the same, no employees in sight to help you. I decided that maybe this needed to be brought to the managers attention so I called and spoke to a Ryan Knaby, worse attitude I've ever seen. So that's when I took it to headquarters. Don't just voice your complaint here, call the phone number listed above. They were very interested in hearing all details of my complaint...we'll see what happens!
I work at home depot & i have never seen any job that work people so hard. They expect you to work like a slave & pay you like one too. The supervisors treat you like nothing just because the have a little title never listen at your problems for as work goes their only concern is how fast you can get it done. They like to write you up for pace. Half the things i see shipped out to stores are broken all because their worried about how fast the stores receive it. I guess thats why they have to hire so many new people each month & they wonder why people shop at Lowes.
I bought a pot with flowers to put on my porch. Since its been so hot the flowers died. I took them back to Pico Rivera store and they refused to give me a refund. I had my receipt and I bought them on July 9, 2012. According to the Home Depot policy if you buy a plant or a pot of flowers and they die within the year you can get your money back. The person at the return desk needs to be trained on the policies. I will not return to this store. The employees from Pico Rivera store need Customer Service training. That is probably why the store is always empty. The Home Depot in Alhambra,CA took them back and i got a full refund. Home Depot in Alhambra gives great service.
I purchased a Dewalt hammer drill 250.00 drill it worked for a little over a year. I had purchased the drill with a 2 yr. instore warranty. When it broke I returned to my Prescott Az. store where I was told to call the number on the warranty booklet that they would send me a gift card to replace it. They tried to send it via e-mail but at that time my computer was in best buy being repaired. I notified them and was then told that I would recieve a check within 7-10 working days, I never did. In am now left with no drill and no replacement ck, nothing. This is my promise to not only stop shopping there I am planning to notify my lawyer with the problem and all the incident # in which they did not a dam thing.
