WELL, surprise I have a good report on the follow up of my six year old Home depot siding job done by the Tampa Florida store .The tech Scott this morning came to my home and saw the problem and glued up the long siding part and placed nails plus he did the walk around and found one other place and glued it up I am a disabled vet that use to do things but cannot do things and I am happy I have back up to my home.. I hope it will be there in the future but right now I am so happy Home Depot Tampa came through to help me at the time I needed help. Thank You Yours Gratefully Michael L
Loss Prevention
We had the "pleasure" of having three loss prevention associates come into my buy/ sell store today. Instead of asking direct questions or even calling the police, the supervisor decided to take the law into his own hands and treat us like criminals. He demanded to see my back room and when i ask for them to call a police officer, he lost his cool and physically threatened and tried to bully me. After all was said and done, the police reprimanded the supervisor. Also, I showed one of the other Home Depot guys our inventory, NOTHING was found that they were looking for. I asked for the supervisor's name and no one will release this to me without speaking to legal. The whole experience made me nervous and never want to do business at home depot. Ridiculous!
Worse trip ever
Could not get any help today at Home Depot and then when we got the help they loaded two different columns and was not noticed until we got home (40 miles away) One needs to go back and who is going to pay us for the time and gas it will take to take it back to fix an assoicates mistake??? Had lots of trouble getting help today, you would think that during a week day there would be people able to help. They seemed more involved with visiting.
Corporate support for the community
I have spent in excess of $40k with Home Depot Monrovia on 2 home remodels. When my son went there 3 months ago looking for help with an Eagle Scout project he got a good run around including you have to write a letter, which he did, come back later, managers in a meeting etc. I finally spoke with the manager who said he would get back with me three weeks ago. Luckily for my sonthe VFW in Azusa Mur Sol Construction and Ganahl lumber stepped up and helped. So much for Home Depots disingenuous give back to the community tv ads. 10 years ago I overheard the Monrovia manager telling a guy that they were doing 6 to 7 million a month in sales. Hey we don't want them to kick down 10 pieces of lumber and some bolts. It may bankrupt the company. Home Depot your a bunch of cheap skates and should be ashamed.
HD in Springfield Gardens Bad C.S.
The store in Springfield Gardens, NY is a need of customer service training for its employees working the evening shift. They are rude, lazy and not knowledgeable with respect to company policies. I spoke to the store manager who agreed with me that I should have been able to purchase keys to make copies that were the next level up as far as pricing is concern due to the fact that they were out of stock; not to mention the fact that the manager on at the time of my purchase caused me to have to buy a more expensive lock due to her inability to resolve the issue at hand. The folks in the store told me to keep it moving they are all out and can't help. Wow!! The way they handled me was horrible. Can you say Lowe's!!!!
Terrible service
I will never again go near a Home Depot store to shop. After buying two ceiling fans that didn't work on the same day I was stupid enough to buy hardwood flooring. It was delivered to my very small house and then I was told I would have to wait almost a month to have it installed. In order to keep my guarentee I have to keep the 21 boxes insidetaking up a large part of my living room. If returned, I must pay a 15 percent restocking charge on a $5000 order. What a rip off.
Store #4724 The evening Manager at store 4724 is rude, no customer service skills, and needs to be terminated. Because of her rude and inconsiderate service. I will never go to Home Depot in tumwater ever AGAIN. You not only lost a customer...I will send info to corporate and tell everone about my negative experience.

In the past four months, I have had one bad experience after with the Home Depot stores in Santa Rosa and Rohnert Park, CA. Their sales staff don't know the products they sell and couldn't care less. My most recent experience was trying to buy a table saw with a daedo throat. After several runs around with ignorant employees, I've had enough. They're merchandise is cheap and cheesy and their employees poorly trained and ignorant. I won't go back.
Tool Rental
I have rented floor sanders from Home Depot at least 10 times. I just rented one and as I tilted the machine back to roll it on the wheels, the handle neck snapped! The gentleman working at the desk when I returned it accused the broken part my fault. He would not believe me that it just snapped. He was claiming that I dropped it or something. After arguing with the people there, they charged me roughly 500 dollars for a poorly built machine! I will never go to Home Depot again! I will go back to Lowes. I have been a daily, literally an everyday buyer at Home Depot. I lost my faith in Home Depot completely.
very disapointed
purchased pergo flooring, first two batches damaged, took 63 days to complete job, after all the agravation i was given credit of 1300 on a 6200 job. get flooring any where else. they broke two pavers in driveway, paint chips and nicks on walls.
Flooring
Home Depot in Lexington SC has the worst customer service I have ever experienced. Starting the with manger of the flooring department and then moving on to the store manager, no one did anything as promised. I held on the phone for over 20 minutes while the store manager tried to locate the regional office telephone number. How do they stay in business?
JOKE
The flooring department in EHT NJ is a joke!!! They are under staffed and the staff they do have is terrible!!! It took me over 14 hours to pick out my flooring and pay. The sales person lied to me about installation times. Every person I spoke to gave me the run around and would not answer my questions. They would not match their own prices online!!! Worst experience ever!!! Pay nore and go somewhere else. By the way, day 2 and I'm still waiting for a manager to call me!
I had written to find out if home depot was giving a break to people who were victims of hurricane sandy. I was told to ask at my local home depot. I called the home depot in Mill Basin Brooklyn and was put on hold for over an hour on 3 different occasions in the same week. I was a victim of the hurricane and now I am a victim of a system that doesn't care about their customers. I am very disappointed with the way customersare treated.
I purchased a Toro lawn mower on Sept.1,2012 used 4 times before the season ended. Started it this year the lawn mower ran at the fastest speed it goes, pulled me all over the yard until I managed to remove the throttle handle. Returned it & the manger was rude, totally unconcerned that I could have been seriously hurt. I thought they should have replaced the mower because I paid 300.00 for it. All they offered was repair which takes 3 weeks.
Disappointed
Went to the slauson and western homedepot .. I was buying two pots that were ringing up $0.1 cent the cashier supervisor was being rude to me because it was ringing that price and when I had already bought two others at that price & when I went this time they were making it seem like it was error n so they made it seem like I was the one making up the price .. I was very disappointed since "supposedly when it rings a price that's the price they give to you " !! But I guess the management team there is not doing there job since they should check the prices when doing inventory .
Don't buy tiles
I have bought tiles that cost me over $150. Have had to order twice because home depot keeps altering the numbers in my boxes and the tiles get here broken due to lack of packaging. Armstrong tiles said they ship on a pallet and home depot is responsible for packaging after that. I have had the worst experience. I have half a floor done and have to wait a month to get another box that will probably be broken when it arrives.
JOB Applications
Home depot's Job applications are extremely to Lengthy. It takes Approx. ONE (1) Full Hour to Complete . Than when completed People do not even get a CALL . A Waste of Time. These Apps. use be Paper writen in the store, just enough Info for a manager can read and speak to the Person on the SPOT !!
HD credit card
I have been a Home Depot credit card holder for over 25 years. I have always been in time...even if it meant going to the store to pay my bill. CITI which process the card for Home Depot did a random credit check during a period in which I was unemployed. It did not matter that I never missed a payment and was always on time....they cancelled my card without any notice making my situation at one of the stores a complete disaster. Sadly Home Depot lost a valuable customer who made regular purchases over the years.

I got several of your wardrobe boxes for moving. Every one of them has torne or broke down. i got some from a moving co.and they work fine. your boxes are to thin.(what a mess)
I live close to to Home Depot and like to shop for my plants in Flemington N.J. store but I am outraged at the quailty of care for there plants. No one apparently waters them and you are under the impression I will still shop there I think not.
