Went twice to order patio doors,first time could not get help,was told was not employees dept. Went back gave them another quote from competitors,said they would match,was told the next day I would be called to set measure,no charge,By 4pm I called store no one had any info.Ended up paying for measure,what if I had not called??Now were going to see about the install and how long it takes to get the measure,I was also told it was 427.00 for install on both doors,not true,why cant your company get their facts straight,Curious to see the final amount of these doors,might just go else-where.Very disappointed,so tired of earing WERE SORRY

Placed an order in the 1755 N. Lilburn store for delivery. The delivery was short 6 items. After 2+ weeks of talking to the store the items have still not been delivered. Just called the corporate office. We'll see.

Store Manager

I worked at Home Depot for 5 months and I quit like 4 days ago because our store manager is the worst manger ever he yells at his employees in from of customers which I think is unprofessional. And the other day he had us cleaning outside in a storm we had and after we cleaned he comes to us and said we did nothing at all. I wish I could still be working for Home Depot but not with him around we need a professional Stote Manager running that store. We never got appreciated for what we did. Id go back if I could but right now no not with him working there!

Where are all the intelligent people at Home Depot?

I used to go to Home Depot because the service people were knowledgeable. I recently got sent back and forth from power tools to paint department looking for sanding discs for an orbital sander. One department would send me to the other and then back to the original. Bottom line...when I'm just bowsing, I get attacked by people asking to help me...when I need something specific, it's hard to find assistance and then I get yahoos that don't know where things are. I wish I had a Menards or Lowes closer!

I have thus far had the worst experience ever with your online service. You have collected my money and have not delivered the merchandise. I have called your so called customer support and have not received any support. The delivery company's you have contracted have stolen or lost my merchandise and then said it isn't their fault and have pushed the blame back to you. I have had this run around for far too long. I have been lied to saying it would be delivered on a day and have missed work to receive delivery and no one showed or called to tell me anything. I asked for a refund and to cancel my order and was informed that I could not have one. This is unbelievable!

False Customer Service

I went into your store in Sunset Hills MO with need for parts for my Genie Garage Door opener I had purchased 4 months ago in your store. The parts had broke when I was trying to make an adjustment to the door. The sales person AK19C3 ordered the parts from Genie or so I got a receipt for and paid him for the parts. I waited over a week for the parts and did not receive them. When I called back I was told they can't order parts and I should order them myself. Now not only to I have to drive 40 miles to the store to get my money back I have to order the parts and wait longer. I am totally disgusted with Home Depot and will not make my purchases else where. I plan on telling everyone how lousy Home Deport.

proud employee

I really enjoy working for home depot in northern california i work with a great team. the only downfall is that i need to relocate and wish to continue to work for homedepot. there are certain exceptions to transferring to another location. I hope that they can change those policies soon.

Carpet

Raleigh, NC. We had an expensive carpet and what was supposed to be the best pad installed last summer. Home Depot installed the wrong padding and also not the greatest install. We have gone roundy, round with them with no satisfaction. All I want is the garbage removed from our home so I can get another company to come in and treat us right. I also have family members that have had nothing but problems with HD with other BIG ticket items. Customer service is horrendous. I wouldn't recommend buying their goods to anyone!

customer service

I just had carpet put into my entire house. The installers completely damaged my dining room table. I can't get anyone from either Home Depot in Fairview Heights, IL or Superior Flooring to even do anything. All I get is the run around. I spend half my life on hold. I am so disappointed. I thought Home Depot was reliable. I guess they are like all the rest. They truly do not care about their customers.

Mexican radio station in store

was at the Pearland TX store this past saturday. They had the store music tuned into a Hispanic radio station. Trying to be politcally correct here, I will just say that I was dissapointed.

Bad service

I live in Annapolis and the service man was suppose to come today and fix the screen and he did not show up. So I called him and he said he was sick, but he did not have the intelligence to call me and tell he could not make it today. Let me put it this way, I will never buy from your stores again. This how you run a business. Lowes could probably do it better than you. The sub contractor could not speak English very good. So you loose and I am finished with your company.

Missing Associate

Hi..... I'm a frequent shopper at Home Depot and I haven't seen LaKisha Mikell in the store for the past few weeks. I've asked for her but everyone seems hush hush. I'm not exactly sure what is going on. LaKisha was a Manager in the Paint Department. She was very helpful and not just limited to her Department. I miss her efficiency and helpfulness!!!!

Bad service

Had a Rigid sump pump with a life time warranty and receipt purchased from my local home depot it quit in the middle of the night and flooded my basement and to purchase one from meijer toget water out of basement because it was 5 am and home depot was not open went to return for warranty and it was running at that time so they would not give us a new one but we do not want to put it back in and have it stop again and flood. Manager was not willing to help at all says it was their policy called corporate and they would mot help either. Well needless to say home depot has lost us as a customer over something small shame on them.

exemplary employee

We have delt with Bruce Hudson, in your Cape May Court House , N.J. store for two years and have found him patient,understanding and knowledgeable. Mr. Hudson is definitely an asset to Home Depot.

False Advertising Online Product

BEWARE: If you have a Major item purchased online, you will find it close to impossible to get any customer service satisfaction. Home Depot tries to segregate themselves in divisions..Online/Corporate/In-Store. You will get forwarded repeatedly to multiple people and give apologies and excuses, but then you will find they will deny responsibility and ignore your complaint and you are left with something you never wanted!!!

Flooring

a minus one...so unhappy. sold us wood flooring (Thomasville) and it was soooo soft that the furniture (with pads) made indents. Home depot offered 10%if we re-did the whole flooring (big deal). Will never buy anything from them again and will tell everyone.

appliance install

bought new dryer from home depot sales people were outstanding install people a joke ended up doing it myself next time i will go to lowes they have better service

I have had a horrible experience with Lori Bridges and Mario Bringas at the Home Depot on 59th ave on Peoria ave, Glendale AZ. called Home Depot Corporate Headquarters boy did the store manager changed his tune!! Once the complaint was closed out the manager is back to being less then helpful. I will never spend a nickel there and encourage others to do the same!!

Store Employees

I was into retail sales from part-timer to VP of Sales for 27 years and I went into store # 470 in Chandler, Arizona. I don't know who manages, hires, or trains the employees at this site but, Wow! I interacted with five employees on the floor and a cashier and all six were friendly and knowledgeable and the cashier was fast, accurate, and friendly . . .Probably one of the best, if not the best shopping experience I 've had as the store was clean, well stocked, well signed, and staffed. This was no accident, someone, the manager or district manager, has figured out how to provide your customers with excellent and friendly service . . . You've earned a forever customer.

Poor Service

I tried to purchase my son a e-card 3 times and 3 times it was rejected, when I called the support people they could not tell me why it was rejected. I call my bank and all 3 were processed and approved. There are so many good people out of work, WHY are those people collecting a pay check?
