TO WHOM IT MAY CONCERN Dear Sir; I'm a mechanical Engineer and working with a German company in Tehran. As we've to travel to Europe and accompany our customer we've preferred continuously Holiday Inn Hotel in Duesseldorf or Paris.I was in 13 to 14.06.2011 for the first time in Holiday in Gare de L'est in Paris "Room No.233".It was really strange/unbelievable to encounter with an open door of my room in case I've left the room on approx.15:30 and closed the door (the annoying voice of the lock is unforgettable ) and returned approx.22:30 on 13.06.2011 .Before I leave the room I was connected to internet and left my laptop "HP Pavilion dv6 Cor i5 " on the desk.It was disappeared.I really was astonished when the hotel management has told me that they can not accept the responsibility because I didn't close the door in case as I've mentioned above it's impossible to forget the voice of the door's lock among closing the door.Although I've informed the police and complained but no one has accept the responsibility of this event in the a.m. hotel at all.I hope you can help me in this concern by the following Email address . Best Regards N.Qassemi qassemi@smit-ir.com

To Whom it may concern, We wanted to send our sincere thanks to the staff at the Holiday Inn at 2155 E Covention Center Way Ontario, Ca 91764. Our flight was cancelled and they provided us with accomadations for the night and turned an unfortunate situation into a pleasant one. We had taken a trip over to the mall and the driver was detained and the manager on duty, Stanley Mutheki, was kind enough to drive over to let us know it was going to be a little longer. We really want Holiday Inn Corporate to reconize the staff at this particular Inn so they continue with their superb sevice. From the driver we first encountered, the desk attendants, the housekeeping staff, management and the bartender we are very greatful. Thank you all

Recently stayed at the Albae Street, Fremont, CA, Holiday Inn Express. I had specifically contacted that Fremont location as I wanted a ground floor room. The gal I spoke with was friendly and said she made a notation about my request for a ground floor room. When my husband and I arrived, there were NO ground floor rooms available... Ended up on the second floor. The bathroom door would not shut at all and no fan available. The kicker was a non-functioning coffeepot the next morning. Not the worst thing in the world to have happen, but I didn't enjoy having to throw on street clothes, walk a block to the elevator and then hunt down the coffee pot "somewhere" in the lobby. For this I paid $95?????

We were guests at Plymouth , In Inn. There was a problem with the door to our room and we were unable to gain entry for almost 2 hours. The bill for our room was placed under our door the next morning and was marked full credit, no charge. I confirmed this at the desk while checking out and they said yes, it was due to the inconvenience the night before. I asked if they had removed the charge from our credit card and was told yes. I thanked them , and we left. We now find that they didn't remove it and were billed by the credit card company. We called the Inn at Plymouth several times only to be told that the manager was not in or not available and would return our call and that has not happened. I just wanted to know if they forgot it or he changed his mind. I am unhappy that he does not seem to have the decency to let me know . In the meantime I will most certainly avoid Holiday Inn. Larry

What is happening to the Holiday Inn Facilities. I went to the express facility in myrtle beach and it was roach infested. Now I try the facility in downtown Salisbury MD and was scared out of my wits, and then insulted and invited to leave .Enough is enough. Apparently Holiday Inns standards have gone down, and it seems to be across the board. I welcome a response.

I stayed at the Holiday Inn Sunspree Resort in VA Beach, VA. I found my breif stay from Tuesday July 5 at 9pm- July 7, 2011 mostly frustrating and hardly relaxing. Paying nearly $400 a night I had high expectations. The first night as I sat in my room with my infant unable to get my TV to work. I called the front desk after multiple attempts and was told a technicain would be sent to my room an hour later I called the front desk again about the TV. Finally an 1 1/2 hours later help arrives. The next morning I take a shower and leave my PJ's on the floor which got soaked because the shower leaks (so I informed everyone else not to leave their clothes on the floor). The maintence informed me this happens because of the way I shut the doors, but even when I did what he suggested the shower still leaked. Later that evening I tried to order a movie and couldn't called the front desk and they said I didn't have credit card on file (and I did). So I gave them the credit card info again and tried to order the movie again while the front desk staff was on the phone at which time they called maintence. Final he comes to my room and cannot resolve the issue and go to the front desk to try to help the staff resolve the issue. Final with a crying toddler and infant I am able to order Dora the Explorer at almost 11pm. The next morning as I am sitting in the room with my infant I try to order a movie before I check out and run into the same issue. I complained to management about all the issues I had during my stay and I was allowed a latecheck out. Then to top it all off Friday July 7 I receive a call from my doctors office informing me my check card was declined (which it shouldn't have been). After furhter investigation I find out in addition to the $1083.28 charged to my discover in advance of the trip my visa check card that was on file room insadentals had a total of $277.30 in unauthorized charges. I called yesterday and left a message for management to call me back in regards to the unauthorized charges and have not received a call back. I am going to my bank with my receipts and disputing the charges and faxing all nessacary documents. If I am not also given a credit to the discover I will dispute the charges with that card as well.

My husband and I travel a lot and usually stay at Holiday Inn's. On 21 of June 2011 we stoped at Oneonta, Ohio, where my husband went to check in. He asked about the rate and was told $183.00 a night. Finding this surprisenly high, he inforemed, that night before we stayed at a Bed and Breakfast in Maine (with ocean view!!!) for less that $170.00. The hotel employee was willing to match that. She informed us, it was the going rate. Same hotel advertises rates from $81.00 to $109.00 on line. Local visitor centers hotel booklet also states the same rate. Needless to say, that was one night we did NOT spend at Holiday Inn. It was a bad feeling to tried to get ripped off by business, that we have always trusted. I just wanted to let customers know to have a written proof of rates. We will from now on! Leena Johnson Kentucky

OTHER PEOPLE WAS ALSO IN LINE(I WAS 4TH). THE LINE CONTINUED TO GROW AND THEY DID NOT START CHECK IN UNTIL EXACTLY 3:00 PM. WHEN I ASKED FOR MY RIVER VIEW ROOM IT WAS A ROOM ON THE 2ND. FLOOR LOOKING OUT AT THE ROOF OF THE ADJORNING BUILDING. WENT BACK TO CHECK IN AND THEY INFORMED ME THAT THE ROOM #208 HAD BEEN ASSIGNED TO ME PREVIOUSLY BEFORE I ARRIVED AND THAT WAS ALL THEY COULD DO. NOTHING WAS AS I WAS TOLD BEFORE APPLIED TO MY CHECK IN. I GAVE THE KEYS BACK AND TOLD THEM TO CREDIT MY CARD BACK AND DID NOT STAY THERE. THEY SAID OK. NEVER WOULD I STAY AT HI. June 23, 2011 RE: Robbery Holiday Inn Select – Atlanta Perimeter 4386 Chamblee Dunwoody Road At;anta, GA 30341 This hotel is not safe to stay at - NO SECURITY AT ALL !! This letter is to inform you of our experience at the Holiday Inn Select in Dunwoody Georgia. My son got married on June 18th in Dunwoody and we booked several rooms for family and friends, a suite and held the rehearsal dinner at your hotel. We arrived on Wednesday June 15, 2011 and stayed through Monday June 20, 2011. On Friday morning at 6:30am we were robbed in our room while we were sleeping. I woke up to find a man standing over my husband reaching for his watch on the night stand. I screamed and the man ran out of the room. We knew immediately that we had been robbed and called the desk. Hotel personnel came to the room within minutes. My wedding ring, mother’s ring, watch, our money, my credit card, my driver’s license and my husband’s sunglasses were taken. The police were called (they arrived at 6:40) and everything was reported – my credit card was used within minutes (6:44) at the Exxon station on the corner before we could get the card frozen. We never travel with jewelry or cash – we only had it because of the wedding. The reason I’m writing this letter is to tell you that this hotel has some SERIOUS SECURITY PROBLEMS!! And this reflects poorly on the Holiday Inn Corporation overall. I really should say there is NO SECURITY at this hotel. Below is a list of things that we observed. • The front entrance has no security camera or personnel watching the door – day or night as you cannot see the front door from the check in desk. • People are coming in to put menus from restaurants under the guest doors any time day or night. • When guest rooms where being cleaned doors were left WIDE OPEN with guest suitcases and bags in full sight. Not just the room being cleaned – but rooms that were cleaned and waiting to be cleaned. At one point the maid staff had about a third of the room doors open in the hallway we were staying in. • The day we were robbed was the only day we received a USA Today paper – the Security Manager told my husband that he delivered it – but that was the only day we got one - and none of the other guests in our party or down our hallway ever got one. • After the robbery we noticed that there was an extra key in our room. As both my husband and I had our keys. Before we were able to give the key to the police, the security manager took the key and erased it. We watched him do this. We also alerted the police to this fact. • After the robbery whenever we left the suite we locked the dead bolt to the door of the adjoining suite room. Every time we returned the dead bolt on the suite door was unlocked and the door open. It was not the maid, because the trash was never taken out of the suite and new towels were never left on the vanity. This means that staff members are entering guest rooms for no apparent reason, a major security and privacy risk. • One of the family members had major problems with their room cards. On Thursday night they left our room at 12:40am and their cards would not work so they went to the front desk to get new cards and waited for 15 minutes for someone to come out to get them new cards. While they waited they called out several times, walked into the office area and watched 5 people just walk into the hotel through the front entrance. They went through 9 sets of key cards in 4 days. • On Saturday night at 3am, a woman ran screaming through the hallways of the hotel, we do not know what caused this incident but once again the police were at the hotel investigating. • The groom was in the hotel for 30 minutes and refused to spend his wedding night in the hotel. A family member booked and paid for a room at the Hilton for the wedding couple because they did not want to stay after what had happened and seeing what was going on in the hotel. • After speaking with several staff members, many indicated that the police are routinely at this hotel, and there are several staff members that are suspicious of their fellow co-workers. They also raised concerns that the hotel management has a very lax attitude toward the safety and security of both guests and staff given the high number of incidents at this hotel. After the robbery Hotel Management told us that nothing like this had ever happened in this hotel. But we got a very different story from the Pastor who married our son. When my son told him about it the Pastor came right over to my Husband and I and told us that was outright false. He told us of a church member who had come back to Atlanta for her 100th birthday celebration that was robbed at the very same hotel and in the very same manner. I understand they did not want us to feel there were problems at the hotel – but believe me it is very obvious! The renovations that have been done on the hotel are beautiful. The rooms are very nice and new. The restaurant was very nice, the restaurant service is exceptional and food was excellent. The meal and service for the rehearsal dinner was also excellent. The hotel did not charge us for our rooms – we paid for the rehearsal dinner – that is nothing compared to the loss of over $11,000 of what was stolen. Along with having this happen on our family’s special occasion of our son’s wedding. We cannot change what happened to us, we will never get back what we lost in the robbery and our insurance will only cover a very small portion of our loss - then we have to deal with the terrible feeling of intrusion that is lingering from being robbed in our room while sleeping. Our hope is that the Holiday Inn Corporation will investigate this incident and fix the problems with security and management so no one else will encounter this kind of traumatic experience at this hotel.

The Holiday Inn in Hutchinson Kansas does not honor your room request even when asked for a credit card. I would recommend avoidance of this hotel in the future. We had requested a non smoking room and had received a confirmantion number. Even with that and another call to confirm our arrival we were no given what we requested. In fact, we were put in a smoking room and my wife became so ill, I had to take her to the ER. As I say , avoid this hotel.

I stayed in the Holiday Inn in Surfside Beach. I stayed 2 nights and check out time was 11:00 AM and I took by granddaughter to pool for the last time and I left clothes on bed for her to change into after the swim and at 10:15 I went back to my room and found that they had already took all in room on the maids cart. I mention it to the girl at front desk and I was told it was the way Holiday Inn did things. I had not checked out of the hotel yet. If you don't get out by 10:00 AM they throw you out.

I RECENTLY GOT MARRIED AND WE RESERVED 6 ROOMS AT HOLIDAY INN HARBORSIDE IN INDIAN ROCKS BEACH. WHEN I CHECKED OUT THEY HAD OVER CHARGED ME. THEY HAD LET A STRANGER CHARGE ALCOHOL AND FOOD TO MY ROOM AND EVEN CHANGED THE NAME ON MY ROOM RESERVATION AND NOW IM HAVING TO DISPUTE IT THROUGH MY BANK AND THE SIGNATURE ON THE TICKET WASNT EVEN MY NAME. THEY LET ANYONE JUST CHARGE ANYTHING TO ANY ROOM. BEWARE DONT GO THERE. I WILL NEVER STAY IN A HOLIDAY INN EVER AGAIN.!!!!!!!!!!!!! GAILHEDGLIN@WMCONNECT.COM 6/20/11

Currently i am stay at the holiday inn in augusta ga. First off there hasnt been power or air condtioning in over 15 hours. The front desk doesnt know when it will be returned. It is over 90 degrees outsode and no air. Second the pool is disgusting. Leaves and bran hes amd bugs everywhere. Also at 8am a leaf blower went back and forth my bedroom door. I am on the second floor. Never have i seen a hotel like this. This is my last stay ever!

WAS FIRED FOR MY PEIRCINGS WHEN I WAS HIRED WITH THEM ONLY BECAUSE THE INSPECTOR CAME AND MY BOSS SAID ITS EITHER ME OR HER AND OF COURSE NOT SHE DIDNT FIRE HERSELF SO IT ONLY LEFT ME LOOSIN MY HOUSE AND LIFE ALL BECAUSE SHE DIDNT DO WHAT SHE WAS SUPPOSED TO DO THE WHOLE 7 MONTHS I WORKED THERE AND I WAS A GREAT HOUSEKEEPER !!! BUT NO WORRIES I WILL BE TAKING LEGAL ACTIONS!!!

We arrived in January and was greeted by Stacey. She showed us a suite and a double. She offered the suite at 119.00 per night but we chose the double. After a couple weeks we asked could we move to the suite because my son wanted his own television. They obliged at the same rate and we moved two doors down. Even though we were told to pay at check out by management, after about a month I asked to run my card for about 3,000.00 to lower the bill. The clerk didn't know how to do it so it took them a day to do it. Once it was done they told me that to pay at checkout because it was a little complex. New Management was brought in shortly after due to a retiring manager and here is where the problems started. Our early morning housekeeping request was immediately terminated and replaced by 3:30 and later times because we were stay overs, even if the hotel was lightly booked. During the divide of management and staff we over heard management asking who were we and stating that we must have money because of the cars we drove and attire my wife had. A lot of times we received dirty(stained) towels, but that probably came from the revolving door for housekeepers once new management came in. Management then took it upon themselves to run my card twice a week sometimes without my knowledge or consent causing an alert on my account due to the usage at the same facility. We asked management about it and they continued saying they had a right. This caused me hundreds in fees due to the alert. We asked for printouts they refused to give those to us on several occasions. On May 4th they checked us out and checked us back in which we had no knowledge of but that activated our reward points. We found out on the 26th when the manager came to our room with paperwork that she wanted me to sign. I called to check our points and we had zero because Holiday Inn failed to load them. Now when we first came the clerk told us once you receive enough points that are applied to your next stay. We found that to be incorrect when we called to use them for our new May 4th check in. Management attitude got worse after stating they did not know we'd be there that long (we have that on tape) and they actually started watching us come and go, how much food we ate and who we spoke to. Then they informed housekeeping to change our sheets every 4 days and only replace needed items. Management also told us they wanted to raise our rate to reflect the daily rate change. Once we said put that in writing because we signed an agreement with set rate management further decreased our customer service. This past Thursday management called at 9am and requested a new card to be placed on file and we were given until 11 am to comply. They promptly called back at 11am sharp while I was on the phone with customer service about management harassment and customer service rep over heard the conversation and stunned into silence. I called the manager back about 15 minutes later twice and left a message. 10 minutes later sheriffs officers are knocking at our door to remove us from the premises. She told them we refused to pay our bill and when we showed them our last receipt we forced them to give us and immediately left and returned about 30 minutes later stating management said they no longer wanted our business and to leave. Management never escorted them to our room which we found out to be against policy and last I checked if one customer occupies a room for 30 days or 30 for 30 days the room is rented. We were told that nothing would be done until we checked out so I need to know what is going to be done about this. We are not going to pay 10's of thousands to be disrespected and treated like scum. What I gave you is a brief description of what went on. Jason Lee Regional Head and stated he backed the hotels decision. We have over 222,000 points of free stay and I plan on never using them. I have plenty more on multiple potential strikes by housekeeping, housekeepers checks coming late and 100's short, leaking windows, racism, and lack of courtesy to customers. my fiance, my 3yr son and myself, planned a trip to boston, as we reached boston we came apon a holiday inn in Peabody mass right next door to a homewood suites hilton,my fiance, had a coupon in a book she had received which clearly stated that for 89.99 walk ins only we could have a room anytime. So being tired and it being so late and being in a car that long is no good for a three year old, we decided to try to stay at the holiday inn. well to our dismay the rather rude person at the desk, said were almost at capacity and that he will not honor the coupon in anyway.... curious is this not a good coupon which again clearly stated anytime until 8/5/2011 hummmmm..... why was it not honored. but the kicker is that after the discussion he offered us a room for 150 dollars. i was pissed put my now extremely tired son back into the car and went 300 yards down i 95 to the homewood suites in which they graciously took us in gave us a 150 clear huge room for the price of the coupon regardless to the fact they were almost at full capacity, we loved the room and homewood suites i must say was very pleasant to stay at the room was impeccable and the staff was amazing. i hope you get back to me on this situation. we are very upset about this

I made a res.for a room at the orlando int/l arpt was told my credit card would not be charged until I checked in.I checked my credit card balance a few days later and found that Holiday Inn had already charged my card and that i can,t get any money credited back to my card because the rate i recieved was a low rate paid at time of booking. That,s not I was informed when i made the reservation.I,ll thing twice before i stay with your hotels again.there,s to many that treat the customer alot better.
