I purchased a 2010 CVO from NEW ORLEANES HARLEY DAVIDSON. and dealing with the staff and management has been a nightmare from DAY ONE. here is a list of some of the things i had to deal with and still am. 1- I was told the wrong mileage on the bike by 5,000 miles 2- was sent out of service on wore out tires that had less then 20 lbs of air in front and rear tires 3- was sent out of service with a broke drive belt AND there is many more to list but THERES NOT ENOUGHT ROOM ON HERE I put a call in for the owner whos name is GARY COOK, (i was told),but to this day I have not hear from him. I DONT THINK I WILL EVER BUY ANYTHING THERE AGAIN

I RECENTLY WENT TO MIKE BRUNOS HD IN HOUMA,LA TO SALE MY HD AN BUY A NEW ONE.MY HD WAS PURCHASED BY THEM BUT WHEN I WENT BACK TO BUY ANOTHER HD THE OWNERS SON THAT IS THE GM INFORMED ME TO NEVER DARKIN HIS DOORS AGAIN.MY 10 YEAR OLD SON WAS WITH ME, I WAS EXTREMLY UPSET BECAUSE THIS TYPE OF BEHAVIOR IS TOTALLY UNACCEPTABLE FOR A BUSS. THAT POTRAYS TMEMSELVES AS A FAMILY ATMOSPHERE.I ASKED FOR A REASON AS TO WHY I WAS NOT ALLOWED TO RETURN TO THE establisment an he refused to give me a reason. This sort of behavior really makes hd look bad an seems very stereotypical.

In 2006 I purchased a new Road King Peace Officer Special addition from Denny's Harley in Springfield Missouri. Prior to taking delivery I asked the dealer to install extended bars and braided lines along with approximately $3,000.00 of other work. They installed the bars and Bennett braided lines, 8 over. I had just turned 14000 miles and took the bike back to Denny's for the 15000 mile service. I was informed by the service manager, Brian, that the lines had streached and they could not adjust the throttle cable and I would need new cables. When I talked with the tech who worked on the bike he indicated that I needed 7 over instead of 8 over. When I spoke to Brian he indicated that I would be responsable for any and all monies to fix the problem and the new lines. This was just one of the probles they had discovered while my bike was in for service that I do not think I needed. I contacted Bennett and explained the problem. I was informed that they never heard of lines streaching and if they did they would replace them free of charge, but again they never had lines streached. They asked me to send them back to them so they could determin if the cable was faulty. When I contacted Brian at Denny's he indicated that I still would be responsable for any labor charges. I asked if the problem was due to their mistake why should I have to pay. I have talked to tech's at other harley dealers who indicated that they have never heard of lins streaching and it sounds as if they want me to pay for their mistake. This problem is just one I have incured at that dealer and I am extremely disapointed with harley putting up with that kind of service from their dealers. I'm a hog member and have been since 1997. I have been riding harley's since the 80's and have purchased only harley's. I have never had a problem like this from any other dealership.

I bought 2011 fltrx road glide black denim @ mile high hd in denver have 2000 miles on it.Noticed a couple of blemishes on the back end of my saddle bag right about the middle looked like road tar when i tried to clean them it was actually a piece of the paint and it fell off down to the primer. I took it into the dealership and showed them they told me if they can stand three feet away and cant see it than they cant do anything about it didnt even offer touch up paint. Now ive found an even bigger one on the tank.I have purchased many new and used motorcycles and vehicles in my life this is the first time ive experienced a cant do attitude for something off the showroom floor. Believe me i show it to everyone and tell anyone DONT TRUST harley davidson. Three feet away with your good eye closed

Harley davidson in mason, ohio sucks! Service manager sucks and has terrible customer service skills. Wouldn't follow up or return phone calls on there time only! Went in oneday to purchase a helmet,250 and a jacket, 450.00 and a cheesy salesman tried to talk me into buying a motorcycle and wanted to pull my credit before even picking out a motorcycle! Tried the old school sales using a four square! Want a moron! Never will I step foot on that dealership as long as I live! Only having my custom harley davidson for only 6 months give me a bad taste in my mouth. Love the bike, but hate the bullshit that I went through!

Awesome team, Awesome bike! Got an 09'rocker and I love it! The whole staff was very courteous and extremely knowledgeable regarding every bike I asked about. They were patient and never pushy. I spoke with people from every dept. and every one of the staff were very professional & courteous. Mark Pearce my sales rep. was a geniunely good guy and I appreciate that! They're couldn't of have been a better group of guys and gals anywhere! I actually went over budget by quite a bit, but I didn't mind, I wanted to spend the money because they worked for it!! I didn't get the best treatment at another dealership in Irvine so I drove 2 hours to SD and it was well worth it! Scotty

Hello: I rented a new Heritage Softail. I was surprised that at 65+ my hands became numb. I thought the counter-balanced engine would solve that, but it was not good. Good looking but did not feel right. Then I was introduced to the FLD. I am waiting to rent this bike. I heard that in Jan 2012 there will be a lot of accessories for it. It would be cool if I could get a Heritage Softail or a Road King Classic mounted on top of a very high performance FLD 103 rubber mounted engine and new transmission.. and FLH type frame. Big fenders, spokes chrome, white walls, passing lamps, crash bars, leather studded bags, etc. backrest......I have 3 Harleys now and had them all my life. Born in Port Washington. Any ideas?????????????? "Road King Lite" perhaps...................

I would like to commend some very outstanding employees at the Harley Dealership in Longview, Texas. My Girlfriend and I went to this area to attend a local biker benefit for child burn victims in east Texas and Louisianna. On a Sundy afternoon, we rode the bike to see my Girlfriends child home and hometown in Daingerfield, Texas, we left there and rode on to Mount Pleasant and experienced a rear tire separation, so had to be towed back to Longview. Got the bike checked in and were trying to find a rental car, but much to our dismay discovered the only agency open was in Tyler Texas, some 50-60 miles away, but how to get there??? Mr. Scott Skipper had been helping try to find a local rental agency, but none were open on that afternoon. Scott was on his Bike, so asked Kassie if she could give us a ride over to his house to pick up his SUV and take us to Tyler to secure a rental car. I can't begin to thank these two individuals enough. They are trully outstanding members of this dealership, of their City, and will forever be held in the highest regard as the best of friends to me and my Girlfriend. There trully are Angels amongst us and they are called friends!!! Scott and Kassie, Thank you very much!!! Greg and Lana

I took my bike in to Cox;s H.d. to have the radio fix, and they called me to come and pick ot up,it was ready, so when I got there (COX'S HARLEY DAVIDSON) the front fairing was all scrached up and they wasn't even going to tell me.They would not let me talk to the service manager. I was really upset not to say the least!!! They kept the bike,I have no idea what will happen next,!I am missing some good riding, because of sloppy work and negligence from (COX'S HARLEY DAVIDSON ) (ROCK HILL S.C.)

Smaltz's HD in Eagle PA sold me a 2008 Dyna Super-Glide Custom on Aug. 5, 2011. Less than 36 hours later, while riding on the bike with a friend, my mufflers flew off, shearing the tail light off and narrowly missing my head by a couple of inches. When the dealer was contacted, the minority partner was sounded horrified by what had happened and they picked up the bike to repair it on Aug. 8, 2011. I was told by the minority partner of the dealership that he had traced the problem to the person who had been hired independently to inspect the trade-in and he had "missed" the fact that the exhaust system was not properly fastened to the bike. As we were taking the bike to New Hampshire that week, we told them that it needed to be repaired ASAP. Under the circumstances, I asked that the bike be gone over with a "fine tooth comb", as it really scared me when the initial accident happened. I was assured that the service manager and others would personally go over the bike before it was returned to me. The bike was supposedly repaired and returned on Aug. 11, 2011. After leaving for NH on Aug. 12, the rear turn signal did not work for the entire trip, and after arriving at the destination, both clamps that affix the exhaust pipes to the heads were dangling off the bike (we took pictures!). The bike then had to go to a dealership in NH on Aug 13. After (again) having the bike supposedly repaired, the return trip was made to PA. On Aug. 16, the bike was picked up again by the Smaltz's, as the rear turn signal was STILL not working, and the exhaust system obviously needed to be looked at AGAIN. By this point, there was no confidence in the dealership or their service department, and I spoke to the minority partner about this. After all, the initial accident with the mufflers could have killed any of us on the bike or unlucky enough to have been hit with them when they flew off. He then agreed to replace the defective mufflers (the one's that flew off) with mufflers of my choice, at their expense. He had me talk to one of their parts people to guide me to an appropriate choice. After chosing a Vance and Hines muffler, I waited almost 6 weeks for them to arrive from a backorder. They arrived on Sept. 21. They picked up the bike again on Sept. 26, 2011, and called on Sept. 27 to say the new mufflers were installed and they would be delivering the bike to me by 6 pm. They then asked me how I was going to "handle this", and I didn't understand what they meant. When I asked them, they said "payment", to which I responded that the dealership was handling the expense that they had agreed to. Guess what?? Not only did the minority owner deny saying that, he had me on speaker phone and the sales mgr. also denied it, as did several other employees. They told me that if I was not going to pay for the VH mufflers, they would take them off and bring the bike back to me as it was before. I told them I would have been better off contacting an attorney about it and that it was really a poor way to handle this situation, especially since they were now lying about what was promised. It was at this point that I was told that they would now NOT deliver my bike to me and that I would have to pick it up. DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THIS DEALERSHIP. They wouldn't have had to replace my mufflers in the first place had they DONE THEIR JOB!!!

I bought a 04 road king police used from the paris texas dealer a few thing was wrong with bike they said but would fix when I bought. Well all they did was make ever thing worse. Didn't fix front breaks they still make real bad noise. The handle bars was loose didn't even try to tighten. Had broke motor mount that they didn't say any thing about are try to fix. The bike is a police bike and they said they would take all the wires off that wasn't used any more. Well they took them off alright just cut them off and stuck them under what ever place was easy for them. The other day I called and ordered a set off plug wires from them. Called back 5 days later to see if they were in and they never ordered them I will never step foot in the harley-davidson shop in paris texas again. By the way me and my wife love the bike and plain on buying another one some day

Poor service at store in Barrie Ontario bad custermer service very rude and we really dont give a crap attitude.Harley davidson does not stand by their products or their custermers.Never will i ever enter their store again or continue to ride their motorcycles i have given up my sportster for a bike and a company i can trust.

I have a 2011 Soft Tail Screamin' Eagle CVO that I bought brand new off the showroom floor. I would start my bike, let it warm up for 10 minutes,m then suddenly it would go into a fast idle (the bike has 3900 miles on it). I took it to Finks HD in Zanesville, Ohio and they worked on it for an afternoon and said it was a clutch cable that wasn't seeded and that it would be alright. I continued to have the fast idle problem. (go figure) I took it back, only to have them say, it didn't do it to them. For 2 days, i gave them info on what it was doing. Finally they took it for a ride, the throttle stuck at 3000 rpm and they brought it back to the shop and called HD Milwaukee shop to talk to them about this problem. After 10 days now, HD tells me the computer is bad and I need a new one (of course this part is made in New Mexico), and they're waiting for the part to arrive. I've never gotten a call explaining what was going on with my bike, nor have I gotten an expected day of delivery, or when I can expect my bike to be up and running again; I've called them inquiring on the status (gee what a surprise). To say the least, I'm angry at the service I've gotten. Funny how you can buy a car, and the dealership will bend over backwards to give you a loaner, free oil changes etc...when something goes wrong; but HD does nothing. Actually they don't even call you to inform you of anything. I bought a premium, top of the line bike with a premium top of the line price, I think I should get premium, top of the line service. Don't you?? Those Jap bikes are starting to look good!

Stay away from Hacienda Harley Davidson!!!! I was purchasing a custom bike they had and after the sales manager and I agreed on a price and I secured my financing, two days later the owner says he won't do the deal. Bummer for them as I have bought three bikes there and spent an enormous amount of money in accessories and just stuff. I will never go back there again and am telling all by bike riding buddies to stay away as well. Greed will get you nowhere Rick!
