Shame on you for letting my favorite Mom and Pop Harley Dealer(Fletchers Harley Davidson Clearwater,Florida) go out of business because of your corporate greed. I can now after 50 years of being a loyal Harley Davidson Rider Buy a Jap Bike. Hope your T-Shirt sales are successful.... Not!!!
I enjoy my 2011 ultra limited but your after market lights SUCK ! I have bought three (3) sets of turn signals so far. I bought a set of off brand for my other bike and never had a problem. Your lights leak water and SHORT OUT !! Thanks for the expense !!!!!!
Why don`t you give milatary discounts? on parts and so on. you say you are and want americans to support your co, then do something for those of us who served our country and support your company ?
I have a V-rod and she is my baby I love her and look great riding the Highway . What I find so hard is waiting for parts my bike has been off the road since 23/5/2012 And looks as if it will be another 4 + weeks before I can ride again .I look after my bike and only have her serviced by Harley Sales and service departments ..What's the use of having a bike if you can't ride it... I can get things delivered to Australia faster than I can get parts for my bike
I am from Vancouver Island Canada. I bought a 2006 street bob from a friend. Bike is great....only problem is that another friend had a key that looked similar to my bike key. So I tried it in the bike and dam if it didn't start it!!!! His key is for a lockbox he picked-up at Canadian Tire OMG!!!
I have never been able to afford a harley davidson. my mother is dying and I have a terminal illness. I would love to see the country on a harley before I die. I have always dreamed of riding across the united states and keeping a documentary. maybe my video documentary would inspire others to ride. If the harley corporation could see fit to donate a new or used bike I would relinquish the documentary to them to use any way they see fit after my death. you would make someones dream come true...thankyou for listening. ride free...michael ward 110 civic ave salisbury, maryland 21804 443-523-6652
I want to say, I''m not diggin the reviews I'm seeing here and also I'm pissed off about the fact when I go to a Harley Dealer/Fashion Boutique I actually have to waste good time looking for an American made Harley shirt or Jacket etc. I did find a couple the other day but hell , I was looking around for a good 20 minutes or so, then I had the woman that works there look for me and she found em. I already know I'm not going to buy there Chinese made boots at their astronomical price just so it says Harley. Harley has become an embarassment to America with all their foreign crap they, and them clowns that think they've got an all American (Newer Harleys) better think twice. Yeah maybe the Screamin Eagle kit is groovy and all that jazz but its still foreign and way too many brothers and sisters are out of work here, and another thing the price of their foreign crap is the same price as if it was made here in America.
Wow , bought a new HD Fat Bob 2012 model in March. After 3 and one half months the voltage regulator went out. I was told by the dealership there would be a recall on all 2012 models for this reason. Was also told it might take a month or two for the company to catch production up of regulators. So what am I suppose to do in the mean time??? I asked if there was an aftermarket regulator I could get they told me "no" no one made them. When I got home I searched the net and found that not to be the truth. I am totally disappointed. If you buy a new car and there is a recall they give you a loaner or pay for a rental. What is the deal with HD??? For the price we pay for their bikes this is unexcusible. Regards.
I just bought my 2012 Wide Glide recently. First couple hundred miles run awesome. And then 400 hundred miles battery lights came on , turn signal doesn't work. And then 600 hundred miles finally shot off. I'm very disappointed of buying my Harley Davidson. The worst thing that happened to me when my dealership people we're just ignoring me when i drop my bike to them, i'ts been a week now still never heard from them... please need help what should i do!!!
I got a new roadglide in 2010, I was coming home from a day of riding and then the battery and engine light came on at the same time, after doing reserch on the net I frond out it is the voltage regulator , I herd there is a recall on the 2012 bikes . Does anyone know if there is a recall on the 10's , it is kind of disappointing knowing that the price you pay for a new bike stuff starts to break down after two years, I'd also like to say I have a 1991 fxrs and have never replaced the voltage regulator
bought a 2012 heritage softail had it 90 days the fuel pump squeals when you turn it on and the back rim is falling apart, guess what took it to 2 shops in wabash indiana and marion indiana and all i get is bull from them, they let it sit and sit and sit havent got it fixed yet, will never buy a harley again, american made hmm maybe they need some jap help so atleast i can get down the road past a shop a little ways anyway.no pride in workmanship anymore you just pay big dollors for a fancy lawn ornament.
I have a 2012 street glide does not have abs breaks but you have to put a lot of pressure on the rear. Breaks just to slow it down it will not stop it
Is there not a negitive rating less then 1 star because that is what Harley Davidson deserves! Been riding Harley's for 40+ years, bought a new CVO Street Glide in Aug. 2010 Had an engine knock from day one, low RPM problems stalling, hard starting. Dealer installed Harley tuner and FulSacs (by the way FulSac is a GREAT Company!) It is a nightmare of a story but the long and short of it is it has been in and out of the shop more then I have had it every tech, service manager even the store owner has riden it they have put more miles on it then I have! Insult to injury Denali Harley in Wasilla AK played with the tuner installing programs far beyond even the Screamin Eagle 110 perimiters, trying to get rid of the engine knock and low end issues, call me up tells me it is the pipes which by the way were installed at the dealer along with the Harley tuner before I took delivery, causing the knock which was BS so I purchased another set of pipes same knock, same low end issue and added a backfiring problem, (I was only informed of this when they called and told me the bike was done and to come test ride it). Needless to say it never left the shop because it backfired so bad it died. Few days later they call and say take it for a test ride this time it started at least, I gear up roll out of the parking lot heading up the ramp to the highway and a colum of gas from the tank hits me in the face covered my leathers, I limp back to the shop becaueget cursed at for taking it directly into the shop bay by the service manager. Several days later they call and say come get your bike with your trailer and take it into House of Harley because they have done everything they can with it, and the bad news was that the lot jocky dropped another bike on the fender but they ordered a new one, it will take 8-12 weeks to get done cause it is a CVO (as if it was my fault that I bought a CVO $35,000 bike. Called customer service took the complaint never heard back, got an attorney! I called the service manager at house of Harley Anchorage, since the bike was in this time for 28 days to see what was up with it, I was told it was done but it still had some low end issues and the knock was still there, but it was ready, even after a letter from my attorney they never bathered to call me or my attorney. House of harley anchorage, ak Denali Harley, and Harley Davidson MOCO are far from the family of harley that they so claim.
I recently broke down in Wilkesboro North Carolina and went to the Cross Roads Harley Davidson Dealership .I was treated the best I have ever been they took care of me and checked the bike only to find I had to u haul it back to Ontario. They drove me to get my u haul and helped strap it down. My bike is a 97 classic and now time to get rid of it as I have had numerous problems with it with no shortage of money coming out of my pocket. I have found the dealerships are great however the product has let me down .
I recently ordered a Key Switch for my 2000 Sportster from Fox River Harley in St Charles Illinois. What a nightmare! The order was placed on May 27 th 2012. I was told the part would be in in a week. I didn't hear anything so I went to the dealer a week later andwas told that the part wasn't in and they needed the Vin Number to order the part. I went home and called the dealership and gave them the Vin Number and of course the part wouldn't be in fof another week. I was on vacation and sure would have liked to ride my Harley. They said they would call me when the part came in. I gave them an extra week and went up to the dealership and guess what, the part still isn't in. Now it's the computer messed up. They never tried to call me to tell me there was a problem\. Hell the parts manager was suppose to call me today and never did. It's now been a month since the order was placed and they have my money and I have no part and can't ride the bike. If you are looking for a motorcycle DON'T go to Fox River Harley in St. Charles Il. THEY DON'T GIVE 2 SHITS ABOUT THE CUSTOMER.
As a result of posting your feedback on this page, have any of you received any satisfaction from Harley or one of their Independent Dealerships? I suspect this is only a forum to air your complaints, etc. without any feedback.
I bought a new 2012 blackline. It is a great bike. The Harley website show that you can get saddlebags and a back rest for this bike. I did. It has been over a month since I bought bike and paid for the accessories that I do not have. The dealership keeps telling that they need docking hardware to apply this accessories, which I paid for.I do not understand why they offer these items and you have to wait so long to have them installed on your bike. Can some one give me an answer?
bought a 2012 streetglide in march have 1200 miles on it and it lost all electrical on the highway in sandusky ohio, after waiting 3 hours on the side of the road for my H.O.G. ROADSIDE to come pick up the bike. i was told there would be a overage on the tow,i said just get the bike off the road.come to find out that the harley dealership didn't want the bike towed to them that day because they were having a bike week at that time. Madriver harley in sandusky repaired the bike at no cost but charged me for the overage on the tow and storage for 2 days because they did not want a bike comming into the dealership while having an event there. i can understand that but i should not be charged for it then....
Harley what gives? You have a museum that shows all models and yet when you go to a dealer.with a bike that is 3 years old no parts, have to order and wait two weeks. God forbid you own a ten year old.bike. Probably would get nap bike parts faster from harley than Harley parts?. Thank god for aftermarket suppliers. Better quality and cheaper. Little rule for newbies, Harley dealerships are there.to sell you a new bike and have more clothing than parts. Maybe victorias secret should sell bikes?
