H & R Block Corporate Office & Headquarters

Last year I paid $25 for a tax return this year they charged me over $100 and my federal refund has been delayed because of an error?? What happened to the "tax experts"?? H & R Block REALLY screwed up and they should offer at least a partial refund especially to loyal customers that have been with them for years. Unbelievable that they think we'll all forget this next year. There's a petition on Change.org - let's boycott and get the news out that H &R Block does not value their customers!

I found out of the refund delay via Facebook! I still have yet to receive an email, letter, or phone call from h&r. I am still waiting. I don't care about an apology. I care about the policies and guarantees, and good customer service. H&R needs to issue full fee refunds. I have gone to H&R for the past 10(?) years, and have never even receive a coupon from them. After this, unless they do something for causing such a mess, I will never return!

They charged me 300.00 for an hours time. I am a single parent that struggles. My taxes are not complicated. I felt that the woman I dealt with was very condescending and rude. Will never go back. I attempted to call and report this, only to be connected to someone that was clearly "reading" the standard answer they are to give those who complain. Then he refused to give me the Corporate number. H & R Block should be ashamed. Don't make the same mistake!

I had taxes done at the wellsboro, pa Crafton street office . The individuals that I encountered were pleasant, friendly and very helpful and would recommend them to anyone. My only complaint to make the experience better is to turn off the tv's in the rooms where the tax preparation is being done and to NOT ALLOW ANY SMOKING IN THE OFFICE AT ALL. You could smell cigarettes everywhere and this was also the case for the last couple of years.

I will keep this short and sweet.... I still have not recieved my refund and theuy charged me 400 dollars!!! I have been put in a bad spot and i think they should pay me back!!!!

This company is fraud! How can you charge me almost $400 and screw my taxes up, I will never go back and I have been a valid customer for over 5 years! RIDICULOUS!!!!

I have been a loyal customer of H&R blocks for many years Me and my wife file are taxes on January 26 . it is now march 13 not a phone call not a letter nothing we call last week told us check IRS website still processing call back to H and R then they tell us about education credit problem and are now trying to blame the IRS. I call different numbers for the IRS 40 min on hold they are telling me then don't have ez taxes from me they got sent back to HR block they got reject she tell me to call HR block I pay almost $300 to have my taxes done in a timely matter and done correctly why should I pay for something Not done Right

I am seeking services elsewhere, and want my money back for this issue. It's wrong what is going on, and is obviously linked to your company. Your offices in surrounding areas, are nothin but disrespectful about this situation at hand. I want my full money amount back! I refuse to every go through this company again after the way your employee's are treating people. I hope your business gets closed down!

I have been a loyal customer of H&R blocks for many years. I always use H & R block home edition and do my own taxes. How disappointing that because I chose to use H&R block that my taxes, which have been in limbo now for 23 days, will be another four weeks. Are you kidding me? This will be the last year I use H & R block and will not ever recommend them again.

I too have been duped by H & R Block. They screwed up their form for the education credit and are now trying to blame the IRS. Know this...if you filed prior to 2/23 with an education credit, you were screwed...if you filed after 2/23 when they fixed the form, or whatever they did, your return was processed and refunds were issued in less than 14 days. That is fact! All I know is they need to fix this and fix it NOW. This really sucks for those of us who are on top of getting our taxes done and count on our refunds!!! Never again, I will go back to doing it myself...Complete waste of $300...can anyone say "class action suit"!

H&R Block did my taxes January 30th. I had an educational credit. I knew they were not accepting them yet, so did H&R Block. almost 2 months later and still no refund. It has been 21 days of the time the credits were being accepted. H&R Block charged me almost 200 dollars to do these taxes. Today the IRS told me it will be another 4 weeks because of errors in the H&R Block software. They also told me that H&R Block sent my return to soon and it ended up in another department. Of course H&R Block denies any of this. I will NEVER let them touch my taxes again. I will let a dog set down and do my taxes before entering their businesses. They could at least offer a refund. My next letter is going to the better business bureau.

Filed early February and still waiting, told up to late May because of their education glitch leaving the convicted felon question blank. Everyone I contacted left me with no answers or further steps to take. Awful experience

i had my taxes prepaired on Feb 10th and have still not seen my federal return(its now March 7th) and dont expect to see it for a while as the funds have yet to be released.Got conflicting and rude treatment from the people who answered the phone at the office i went to. this was my first year trying h&r block,and it will be my last!!! i dont agree with the one star ranking...it just woouldnt submit until i put something.

Like other complaints I am now reading (I am sorry I did not read them before I went to H & R Block), I was appalled at their charges. I was quoted up to $311 on the phone (by someone I later found out was a receptionist and had no business quoting anything) and yet when I went it it had jumped to $425 and when I was told the returns were ready to be picked up, the cost had risen again to $450. I ended up picking up my paperwork and taking it to a CPA who charged me LESS than a "tax associate" at H & R. I wouldn't recommend this company to my worst enemy.

I've been using H & R Block for the past 4 years and three of them years the person that filed my taxes has made errors which cause my taxes to be delayed and this was three different locations I also pay extra just in case an and they are not getting to the bottom of the irs saying i have to pay back money cause of a filing error h & R Block says there is none ugh never again

I am an 18 yr HRBlock veteran fired for fake reasons and they know it. However getting thru as a client is UNREAL. Sorry clients I knew it was bad but when we put on others shoes we see just how bad. And yes they do over charge but if you have a difficult return you get great tax help if you have the correct preparer that is key.

On 2/20/2013 I went into the H&R Block office in Coffe County, Douglas Georgia and they were rude and very disrespectful. I encourage people not to go to that office to do business

I would like to ask you how H & R in Michigan can charge outrageous amounts to do taxes. My daughter who hasn't had a job for 6 months now went to get her taxes done and they charged her $437.00. That is such a rip off. Please tell me this is not legal.

I have had my taxes done by them for the last couple years and have had amazing results. Not only did I save money from who I was paying before but I had my first deposit into my account less than 3 weeks after it was filed. I would recommend them to anyone and everyone. They do incredible work.

My husband and I went to H&R block for the first time and the lady was so old she didn't even know how to work the computer program and the program that lets the preparer know if it is better for married people to filing joint or separate is not even up and running and we took the information back 4 days later to have it looked at again and they kept all of the paperwork the taxes are not done and not filed but they had no problem cashing my check and not holding it. If we should owe I would like ample to time to come up with the money. This is absurd that it is tax time and the software is not up and running properly they have ample time to prepare it comes at the same time every year!!!!
