Iv had H&R block do my taxes for 5 years now and only 1 year went well.Im sick of the commercails on tv claiming the best service from H&R.LIARS...This year my H&R block tax preparer delayed my return another 2 weeks.And Im still waiting for her call back.I will not return to the half witted company again.YOU ALL SHOULD BE A SHAMED OF YOUR SELFS!I have an idea...let me do your taxes next year and we'l be even.

On 04-10-13 I attempted to logon to HRB, which I have used for over 10 years. My logon account was no longer accessible. In calls placed to HRB (04-11-13), was informed that all of our "historical tax data" had disappeared and "could not" be found and they did not provide any reason as to "how" or "why" it disappeared. Since they lack ethical and professional standards, I will no longer return!

I requested a IRA distribution to another bank from H and R block, sent all the correct paper work needed. After 3 weeks, and no funds sent, I contacted HR to see what was the hold up, no reasons given other than they were confused with the forms, took 8 reps and a vey rude manager to figure out they did have the forms they needed from the start, and still took another 2 weeks to process. Unbelievable that this is even allowed regarding the handling I'd people's hard earned money. Never will I use any of their services again.

Me and my wife are part of the big screw up with h and R block and now we found out in 09 they didn't fix our taxes and now we are getting audited so don't waist urn time going there I have finally went and told everyone I know including a few business that had h and R block. Do there taxes now no one I know will ever go back

Early March we had H&R Block prepare and finalize our MI taxes. State of MI kicked our taxes back because they were prepared wrong. Our H&R R Block preparer corrected the error and resubmitted our state taxes without a chance to review or sing off on the corrections, which is illegal. He did not have. Authority to resubmit our taxes without our permission. We had a right to review the changes he made and sign off on them before they were sent back to the state of Michigan. We submitted a complaint 3/13/13 but still the case manager has not contacted us. Has anyone else had this similar problem?

I did my own taxes this year using H&R Block software, which was pretty easy. I was rejected in filing my federal. I called the IRS and they had no record of 2011 tax return. Called my local H&R office and they are still looking into the issue. Unbelievable, they forgot to send it in? Also agree with other postings, they are expensive!!!!

After decades of using H&R Block we find they forgot to send in our 2009 tax returns. Really!!! you forgot??? Due to this the government estimated our taxes which was WAY off (20 times higher) and not only did we get pentilized 150% but it was taken from our 2012 tax returns. So much for the guarantee that they will stand by their work and if they make a mistake they will pay any fines and penelties. We didn't even get a refund of the fees that were paid to do the taxes in 2009. Then i found out H&R Block is charging more than double then other tax services. We can't even get anyone to call us back. So much for "Piece of Mind"!

This is my second year filing with H&R Block. This year has been the absolute worst. It's been five weeks now since I have gotten my return all because the "tax pros" don't know what they are doing. I'm a student in school and they messed up when they were filing the edcuational tax refunds. They call it a glitch when they just didn't know what they were doing. All they can do is say they are sorry? Well it's my schooling and money you are messing with and that's not cool. People need their money. It's not like waiting around for a check that was supposed to come three weeks ago is anything cool. You just lost a customer and from what i hear probably around 600,000 million more. Hello turbo tax here I come.

for real? give a corporate number than dont keep it updated??? i have never had one thing go rite with hrblock! every year they mess everything up! now they want me to pay more out of pocket than i already have! spent enough with them to last a life! but im the bummbie that goes back thinking they will get better. pay all that money to them for nothing! thank you so much hrblock for being the shittiest tax service out there!

This was my first time using H&R Block and the fees were higher than I ever paid. I have repeatedly contacted H&R Block and they explained that there is nothing they can do to assist me with my tax refund. They informed me that I have to wait until the IRS decides to release my funds and this could be whenever. They also told me to contact the Corporate Office to complain. I will never recommend them or use them ever again.

I will not use H&R Block again next year! The staff provides horrible customer service.IRS released my taxes which should have been direct deposited. I have no idea where they are and neither does my local H&R Block office. They cannot even give me a working cooporate phone number.The district office manager is too busy dodging phone calls. This has been the worst experience ever! I files in January and am still playing chase.

Had taxes done in February. not only did the so called tax expert mess up big time that my husband and i are being audited. when we went back to try to get it fixed because h&r block advertise the have your back if you get audited. Well needless to say its a lie. they refused to fix there mistake and we are now having to deal with irs ourself. we paid them 500$ to and got there guarantee they would back us up. h&r block is a rip off and there so called tax experts don't know how to do there job

We will never use them again. We went to them in 2004 to do our taxes. The lady that they just pulled of the street did not know anything about doing taxes. We knew more than her. She proceeded to do our taxes the wrong way. She keept saying don't worrie everything is alright. Well because of their mastake we got audited twice after that. So now years later we filed with them this year and they took our money. Not the IRS but H and R FOR their mastake. And now were getting the run around for weeks.

I have used H & R Block for years and what a mess they have made. I was one of the people waiting for my taxes due to the educational credit. I filed February 14 and still have not reciceved and accoding to the IRS will not get it back until April. I will never use them again

I file on Jan. 31st and to this day no yet to this day 3-21-13 nothing. Yes I had an education credit and that is no excuse to faulter on a signed contract. I know many that got there return early and filed an amended for the education credit. You did this. The greed led you down this path and the fact that you violated the law will make this right. Stop blaming your error on anyone but you. We will not be charged for a half service.

I filed my taxes February 7th still No return! They charged me 300 dollars for what? I could have mailed it a received it by now. Since I didn't get a rapid return I want my money back! I will NEVER do taxes with them again, I will do it myself at least come out better than this!

i paid over 4150.00 to have my taxes done on 01/20/13 its now 03/20/13 and i still haven't gotten them back i singed a paper legal document stating that if they file incorrectly they will pay me back in full they said it was there fault and still wont pay only compensation they will give is $99.00 of next years taxes that means i still have to pay 450.00 out of my pocket to hope they do it right please don't waist your time go somewhere else

I filed my taxed on the 24th of January it is now 3/20/2013 n i still have not reseaved it. so i went to the IRS and spoke with someone in person and they told me that my check had been sent to the H & R block bank now i still do not have my refund and they are telling me that they do not know were it is. and will not give me corporates number

This is the worst company. I have never been treated with such lack of respect and complete and utter dishonesty, that if you were my child i would of broke out the belt on you and sent you to your room for a long long time. You admit to the mistake, now own it and refund us our filing fees.

What A JOKE!!!! Don't waste your time or money! Go to a tax preparer that respects you and will compensate you for their wrong doings. H&R makes errors and lies to you to cover up their poor quality programs & temp employees that they hire which they say are quality tax associates, BULL SH*T
