ive been trying to get a live person for 3 days, nothing. recordings that go in circles. absolutely poorest service i've ever encountered.

The Philadelphia hub for greyhound is a nasty dirty mess.The ticket consoles are always down and there is zero customer service. Just got back from AC. On the way down one bus was a no show, the line snaking out the door. Next bus filled to capacity. It was almost two hours before I got started on my destination. Bus seats filthy as usual and air conditioner on whisper. I'm sure your company has a way of tracking sales and return trips and yet on the way home Tuesday even though I arrived 35 minutes before the bus was due, a line was from gate 2 almost to the middle of the terminal. Either the buses are constantly late or the schedules need updating. I'm starting to believe this is racial as this terminal mostly serves people of color and this is the mode of travel they can most afford. I will begin to suggest to my family and friends to use other modes of travel until your company begins to value our time,money and safety.

I bought a ticket for my granddaughter to go back to Tallahassee in December, 2011. I paid the higher price because I wasn't sure that she would be able to go and was told that by doing that I could get a refund. She was not able to go. I called to have by charge card credited and was told that it could not be credited because the refund had to be returned to the person whose name was on the ticket. I explained that the person was a minor but they still refused to credit my card. I sent a written request along with a copy of the ticket through the mail requesting the refund be sent to my granddaughter but she never received anything from them. I disputed the charge with my credit card company and eventually the charge was removed, however, the charge was just recently placed back to my charge card. I understand Dave Leach is the CFO of Greyhound. I wonder if he and all the execs approve of how their customers are treated.

Gery hound lost my bag as well which included everything I have including a MAc laptop and all the clothes I own I have been trying to get ahold of them and it's been almost impossible everyone that I've talked to have been complete morons and I have been on hold with their corporate office for the past 20 mins and still haven't spoken to a manager I am goin to get a lawyer and want to assemble a group who have the same claims if you are interested and want to be recompensated for your list items email me desi407@yahoo.com with your claims

I am moving from one city to another and a good friend who lives in the city I am moving to wants to come here and help with the last minute details and then drive my car back behind the U-haul. I was going to buy her bus ticket for her, but then found out that Greyhound charges $18.00 over and above the cost of the ticket for someone else to purchase the ticket. How ridiculous is that??? I am making other arrangements to get her down here. I will NEVER use Greyhound Bus Lines. What a bunch of greedy people!!!!!!

We were stuck with a leaking bus. Yes, the whole right side of the bus inside was leaking and no one cared. Well, being the bold person I am by nature - I first asked in New Orleans if the bus could be fixed or could we get a replacement. The answer I got - no garage in New Orleans and I have yet to see the eyeballs of the customer service representative I was talking to. I am told that this location is ALWAYS rude. Yikes, seems like Greyhound needs to do some spring cleaning - there are far too many folks out there that would LOVE that job. I did not give up on my quest for a repair or a replacement and was finally able to get the attention of a very professional supervisor in Tallahassee, Florida. He made sure we got another bus and had our luggage under the bus transferred. Usually we have to do this. Hats off to this supervisor. Now you would think I would have had a very peaceful trip the rest of my journey? Oh no, we got a 5th driver in Tallahassee (yes we had 5 bus driver changes, which is very unusual out of Houston, Texas to Orlando, Florida) and I don't know if he forgot to take his medication for being bi-polar but he kept on disrespecting the females on the bus. Finally I had had enough and finally responded to the "estrogen" and "old biddy" remark that was directed to me when I had told him he was very rude in his interaction with the passengers. Up until then, I had been ignoring him as he had rubbed me the wrong way when I was boarding the bus. When I arrived in Orlando, Florida at 1:20am on Saturday - I asked to speak to the supervisor for that location as I had told the bus driver I would be reporting him. That was when he began to apologize like he always did on the bus when someone put him in check. It was like a passive/aggressive behavior. The supervisor had the nerve to say he was just playing and that he has known him the 2 years he has been with Greyhound. I did not waste my time with further discussion but made up my mind I was going to get someone's attention as this man needs to be put in check. It was like his personal "torture" chamber and this supervisor protected his behavior.

They need to get it together! Wish I would have rented a car! Lost my luggage and left me at a unscheduled stop! Now I'm 12 hours behind and no one knows where my luggage is! Had o stay in the terminal awake all night until the next bus came, NEVER NEVER do his again! What a nightmare!

I went to OH 5-17 from Pittsburgh for graduation of my granddaughter. I saw my luggage being put on the bus but when I got to OH the driver said it wasn't there. The driver was very rude saying that it wasn't there that he had a schedule to keep & had to leave saying this several times to me and my son. When calling customer service numerous times with a wait of 15 to 45 minutes wait. It seems that were I was the terminal is just a desk inside a gasstation & don't have the authorization to get into the computer to get updates on lost luggage. They had my luggage for a week but kept calling the number on the tag which was in PA and when I got I found the message on my caller ID and when I called back in OH they were ready to send my luggage to TX. So I called customer service to say that my luggage was found and was at my terminal in OH for a week and then ask about being reimbursed for the clothes that I had to buy they said that since my luggage was found I wouldn't be reimbursed. I'm never ridding Greyhond again and will tell anyone who says they are ridding Greyhound what happened to me. I am going to try to get though to Greyhound Bus Lines Corporate Headquarters at least.

I have shipped 16 boxes through Greyhound, wardrobe, eloctronics, personal documets, from North Hollywood to Miami Beach...All 12 boxes robed, clothes, business suits stolen, TV stolen, video camera, photo camera, 2 more boxes never arrived. I WAS GOING TO A SUPREM COURT MATTER AND ASLO A CONFERENCE FOR 2 WEEKS I HAD NO CLOTHES ETC ALL MY PROFFESSIONAL SUITS IN BAGGAGE, I WAS TOLD TO FILE A CLAIM FOR COMPENSATION. In Dec 2012 I tavelled from Baltimore to Hartford. My suitcase although I saw it placed in the bus in NY was not there at Harford. To date I am still waiting for greyhound to give me some form of compensation. I was told they sent a cheque to my old address in March even though I registered a letter with my new address to them because their fax line never works. Up to May 8 after they got my new address I was still being told the old address. On May 8 I was assured that my cheque would be sent out (ie. $250 for items valueing over $1000). Today, may 16 they are telling me something different about ensuring that the old cheque was not cashed before they can go further. Can we all get together and take greygound to court? Every other person has a bad experience with them. I am from a 3rd world country and this could never happen there. We have consumer affairs commission that would have taken greyhound to task and win, matter of fact they would be so scared of a bad report, customers would never be treated like this. I have resorted to flying. Matter of fact my ticket cost almost $150 on greyhound and $200 to fly when I book online. People Southwest is the alternative, you do not pay for your luggage and they never get lost. The greyhound trip one way was over 7 hours, southwest was 1 hour for about $25 extra. When an airline loose your luggage you do not have to wait 6 months for compensation.

Grayhound lost my lugguage and will not find or pay for that loss. My bag was a exlarge duffle bag (blue,black,and gray) had a red blanket and a cane on top of the bag held down by the handles that close together by velcro. There was a name tag on the side of the bag with my address in it.

My name is Theresa Lewis, and I was an employee of Traveler Service Inc, for about 6yrs. Who is contracted with Greyhound.... On April 11th, I had tripped and fell on a customer's bag, that was in storage for Traveler's Service Inc. This storage policy that allow us too have bags in storage. Well I left a note for David Tietze, who is the president of Traveler's Service Inc. (Greyhound) and informed him that i had tripped and fell on the customers bag and that my co-worker Darius Turner had witnessed the incident. Well on the next morning David informed me to come into his office and to do a accident report on what happened. David stated that we (his employees) were so retarded and proceeded to file the accident report as I was informing him on what happened. So, David callled around for a doctor who would take the first group workman's comp. And I suggested ARHEALTH CLINIC, because I remember seeing their ad. Well, David called them (arhealth) and they agreed to see me and work me in, since I was a injury case. I didn't get to leave work until 1:00pm because that's what time David told me that I could go over to the clinic. The cab came and picked me up from the bus station about 1:30pm and when I arrived to the clinic, it was closed until 2:00p. I had to wait until they came back from lunch, so I went to David's other business that he has right beside the clinic and waited there until the clinic opened @ 2:00pm. I had to wait for about an 1hr 1/2 before i was seen and that was to do paperwork, so I had to wait another 1hr 1/2 for the xrays and to begin the physical therapy. It was about 5:45pm when they were finished with me and excused me to be off for the rest of the day and the next. My shift @ work ended @ 6:30pm. My physical therapist wanted me on light duty @ work, but David stated to me and to the doctors assistant that, there is no light duty work and that I could only come back to work fully released by my therapist. David did ask me to keep him informed with what's going on, and I DID. I phoned David each wk to let him know that I will be in therapy all wk again. So I called David on Apr. 23, 2012 to let him know again that I will be in therapy all wk long and he informed me that I no longer work there...., because I did not provide him with a statement from the Dr. as to how long I will be off from work. I WAS FIRED WHILE ON WORKMAN'S COMP AND OVER THE PHONE!!!!!!!!! FURTHER ACTIONS WILL BE TAKEN!!!!!!!!

The worse service I ever received any were in the USA !!! My rating would far exceed any failing mark one could possibly think of . They weren't worthy of my trust and certainly not my hard earned money that they gladly took . For all the good their service did and the ever lasting memories of contempt that linger, being taken advantage of completely I can only hope fate will eventualy close their doors of business if you can call it that forever so there will be no more customers for them to abuse , because this is exactly what they did . Plus they got away with it. I SHOULD HAVE TAKEN THE MONEY THAT I PAID THEM AND WENT TO THE CASENO WITH IT AND I DONT EVEN GAMBLE AT LEAST THERE WAS A SMALL CHANCE OF WINNING. With them you loose all the way around , suitcases , boxes, ect. and they have no empathy for their customers what if it was their packages story would change then !!!!!!! . . I will certainly tell anyone I know to please not do business with greyhound bus freight line trying to ship boxes ect.It is hot in Az. and I havent one pair of my bermuda shorts or swim suit, ect. no!!! and they have the ordasity to drag this situation due to their mistakes yes sir no refund and no suitcase . signed regret regret regret !!!!!!! .

I desperately need to locate the address of GREY Hound Express corporates street address in Dallas ,Tx. 75266 , not their post office box address . If anyone gets this typo please call me at 480-748-5435 . They have lost my suit case and now they have botched everying concerning this ligitament complaint and I do mean everything . The temp. is now 115 degrees in Az. They lost my claim saying they never received it . At LAST someone did call asking for receipts for everything going back several yrs. Like I was expecting this to happen so I kept all those receipts plus ,trying to remember exactly what was in the suitcase was very challenging . Signed!
