Would not let me board with my service animal.
I would give them zero stars if I could. They are rude and let police on the bus to intimidate the passengers. This is in violation of our fourth amendment rights. It seems like a class action law suit will be happening soon.
I went on a recent trip to Albany, NY with Trailways but Greyhound must have gotten the subcontact for this run. When I arrived home, I realized my luggage (Samonsite Winfeld Spinner carry on) was covered with perforations. I went to Port Authroity immediately, brought my suitcase along with my ticket. I arrived at 4.30 PM and was told they closed at 4PM! Not even business hours. I was given an "Inspection" report to fill out that clearly said it is not a claim. I had no assitance with the Senior Manager on duty. I called and then was told to FAX my ticket, which I did. I never got a call back and they are ignoring me and hoping I would go away. I never planned to ride on Greyhound and bought my ticket with Trailway Adrironak and got my luggage destroyed by Greyhound. I would never used this company but I am stuck with poor customer services, a company that is rude and disresptful. No one returns calls or does a job. What a disgrace and shame on Greyhound for conducting them self with such poor and untrained workers! I am not expecting any call back from Corporate headquarters! What to do? Small claims court?
To whom it may concern: I recently purchased a ticket through greyhound for a friend of mine from Tampa Florida to Waco Texas. Not only did they mess up her ticket once but twice! Each time it cost me more money to repurchase the ticket, and greyhound does nothing to right this wrong! As far as I am concerned I will never travel or recommend greyhound to anyone! Why should people have to apy for their mistakes! I will use the voucher they send me "14 working days later" to get her here, if that shows up! But after that I am through with greyhound!!!! If this voucher fails to show up my lawyer says he will handle it from there! I will get my money one way or the other!!

September 27, 2012 To Whom It May Concern: This letter is being sent to your company to show you that your costumers are getting tired of the stupid charges that you keep adding on to your cost of tickets for riding on your buses. My name is Walter Weaver and I live at 3750 Altamira Street in Brownsville Texas. I have been purchasing tickets from your company for my son and grandchildren to come from Chicago Illinois to Brownsville to stay with us for vacations and school breaks. Your ticket prices are very unfair; I do not understand how a person can travel from Chicago to Brownsville for $150 and be charged $207 to travel the same route back to Chicago. I do not understand why I have to pay an $18 for a ticket purchased at your Brownsville location for my son to travel here from Chicago. Don’t your computers work to send a ticket for travel to anywhere in the USA, or is this just another trick to rip us off of some more money. I do not understand why I cannot use the money paid for a ticket that I purchased in Brownsville for a one way trip to Chicago be used for a ticket to travel somewhere else if ticket was not used for the original travel. You already have my money so why can’t I pick the place of travel. The charge of $18 for using a credit card to pay for the ticket on line is also a rip-off, just show me another company that uses this charge to rip-off their customers, Just because the credit card is not in the name of the person traveling. I pay for air fares and many other services on line without being charged this type of fee. Why do we have to pay $15 dollars every time we change a ticket date, your company is inventing ways to make more money. I don’t know where all the money goes seeing that the company has filed for Bankruptcy . Your company does not list any email addresses for complaints and now I know why. I currently have a one way ticket with companion travel from Brownsville to Chicago and in a short time (November 2) I will lose the $310 I paid for them Because they were to be used on May 2 2012, but, we had a death in the family and I had to drive my family to Chicago for the funeral instead of my boys using the bus tickets. I would really feel better if someone in your corporate Human Resources Department would contact me by phone at 708-707-7313 and explain some answers to my concerns. IF not then I will start sending my children to Chicago by tornado Bus lines that offer cheaper fares and far less hassles to deal with. I know that you feel that you can do anything you wish to because you don’t have a lot of competition in this market, but, don’t take it out or pass on your extra costs to us, your customers because we won’t be your customers much longer. If I don’t hear from someone in a reasonable time I am going to start publically issuing emails that show all the stupid little extras that your passing on to us. Luke bus driver#1 refused to listen to me...3 times I stated through to destination. I traveled on Greyhound in March and Greyhound Stole my stuff they want even take my calls all they do is lie to me saying they are going to send me a check for my personal stuff witch was Tru Religion and Girbaud disinger jeans along with other thing of value . Greyhound said it send me a check that I never received til this day . I followed all Greyhound procedures in checking my bag in with them I have my claim number and everything that's all I have . So I call Greyhound at lease on a week to see what the r going to do about my stuff and they say that they have mailed a check . Well where is this check ? Ithink they r lying because no one in greyhound can tell me how much this check is written for who writes a check and don't know the amount ?
i have been by the greyhound bus station many times here in Eugene Oregon and i have come into Eugene by greyhound and this is the worst station i have ever, been in. the bathroom for the male passengers was filthy and the overall cleanness of of this station was very poor and after reporting it to one of the ticket, agents and being told that it was not his job to clean them that their janitor would take care of it well i am finished with this company i will never spend another dime on taking greyhound any time soon as far as i am concerned this company and there employees suck big time.
My bus ride was the worst experience I have ever had in my life. The bus station in Riverside was not air conditioned and the bus was 1 hour late picking me up. The agent lied to me and said the connection bus in Las Vegas would wait for us to get there. Needless to say, I was stranded in LV, and was handed all 4 of my bags, INCLUDING the express bags I had paid $70 to Greyhound for them to handle. I was told to either take them or they would sit out on the sidewalk all night. I am a 63 year old woman and could not handle 4 large bags! The next morning, they took my bags and sent them back to Riverside instead of toIdaho with me! I had no luggage for a week, and had to buy some clothes and shoes at a yardsale so I would have something to wear! I only found my bags by coincidence, when I saw the Greyhound bus traveling to the station and followed it. I asked the driver to open the luggage compartment, and lo and behold, there were my bags! The driver knew nothing about them. I had been calling the stations in Riverside, Salt Lake City and las Vegas repeatedly to no avail. When I got to Idaho 13 hours late, my feet and legs were swollen for 2 days. I will never ride the Greyhound again!
I am sorry to read all these negative comments about greyhound bus service, my husband drove for greyhound for 40 years +, when drivers were extremely helpful to the people, and courteous . what kind of people are greyhound hiring? Is it really everyman for himself and God for us all. Greyhound you use to be number 1, in service, perhaps you should work to gain that reputation back

If it was possible i would not even give them the one star. They used to bloselost ok back eight years ago. Lost my luggage over a year ago. Requested a claim form over a million times . I probably will be the first to file a law suit bet that!
What a mess!!!!! I found out like so many others that the phone numbers listed are bogus, no one answers and goes round and round in circles. The customer contact format is bogus as well. I sent a question on obtaining a refund for a ticket, they claimed to respond within 7-14 business days, well still waiting for the response!!! I sent a second request on 8/22/12
This company is SO RUDE! Unwilling to even lodge a complaint or investigation of EXTREMLEY RUDE supervisor unless I made a purchase. I was unable and now unwilling to make a purchase. Thanks for nothing!!! I will never use them again!!! They DO NOT even deserve one star!
