I will not be back . The steak and hamburger meat are so salty u can't eat it. I was my family they think the same . Y'all should do something about it. I was sitting done at the table I overheard a few people say that the steak was salty. This is the Pasadena tx location.
Since when did coffee became not complimentary at golden corral? Food quality has diminished along with the great service which they're known for. NEW MANAGERS!!!! GET RID OF HIM!!! The employees are walking on eggshells and do not look happy anymore. The hot food was warm and limited, the salads were wilted with gnats swirming it. Awful!!
My wife and myself are regurals at Golden Corral on Martin Luther King blvd in Houma Louisiana. We have no problems with the quality of the food or with the restaurant in general. Our big problem is 90% of the staff, including management, is hispanic. Ask a question about the food and they look at you like we are the aliens or they give an answer, not knowing what you asked. As a result, my wife, who is allergic to seafood, asked a staff member if a certain gravy contained seafood. The answer was no. Two hours later I had to rush my wife to the E.R. because her throat was swollen and she was sufficating. My question is why Golden corral is hiring nothing but hispanics in an area who has not even three % hispanics as residence and why Golden Corral allows so many illegals to work for them. What about American workers and why does Golden Corral thinks it is ok to break the law and have so many illegals working for them. By the way I am not anti hispanic and I am not a racist. I even speak fluent Spanish. That is why I know so many of them are illegal because I frequently speak with them. Golden Corral: I am waiting for an answer!!!!!!!!!!
The Palatka Florida Golden Corral Has terrible management skills mainly the current manager he seems to care more about leaning on the wall and walking around with his shirt un-tucked like he would rather be anywhere but in the restaurant. Since he has been at this location the food quality is disappointing. So much for Homemade Cooking, I am not the only customer whom is not satisfied maybe the only one to voice my opinion. The restaurant is Filthy and food quality a ZERO. THIS LOCATION NEEDS NEW MANAGEMENT OR TO BE CLOSED DOWN.
Why is there only 2 golden corral resturants in southern California, where we have 15 million people in Los Angeles metro area.
Golden coral in Sacramento on watt ave Sucks from the food to the managers I went to breakfast on Sunday June 3 2012 the workers where still waiting for The manager to open up and they told me that they start at 6 o clock and I got there around 8 something and I'm sure there where a lot of people that where Angry this is bad business they should fire these lazy irresponsible so call Managers
My cat breath smells like cat food...Some of you all comments are ridiculess. Like the one who purse got stolen out of their car.. boo hoo grow up and take personal responsibility. Its not the restraunt fault that someone broken into the car, give me a break. Dont leave you STUFF in the car if you dont want it stolen. IDIOT.
My spouse and I have been regular customers at Golden Corral 1402 Cedar St, Clarksville, Indiana. Because of the business we run it is easier to stop there for dinner. We know most of the managers, Hello Scott, and most of the servers. For the most part, service has been well, although there have been a few incidents, and for the most part, the food is usually quite good. However, there have been numerous vehicles broken into, windows smashed, personal property stolen, and even cars damaged on their parking lot. Local law enforcement have been called to take reports many times. Management is aware of the problem but no security measures have been taken or installed. We were completly unaware of the security issues on their parking lot until laat Sunday May 27, 2012. We stopped there for dinner around 5:00 p.m.. My spouse, Kara, placed her purse behind the drivers seat of our van and then we locked the doors and went inside for dinner. After dinner, we returned back to our van and discovered that the side door of our van was not shut securely, and the drivers door was unlocked. We opened the doors, I reshut the side door tightly, and then we both got in and drove home. It was'nt until we arrived home and Kara reached behind the seat to get her purse that she realized it had been stolen. She broke down emotionally, crying hysterically, and when she finally calmed down, she called the bank that issued her debit cards and reported them as stolen. Then we called Golden Corral to see if they had found a purse, and told them what had happend. The person we talked to said they were not surprised it happens quite often and that even earlier in the day they had to call the police because another vehicle had been struck on the parking lot. We drove back down to Golden Corral and spoke to the manager who also toal us that his vehicle had been broken into and his window smashed. Several packs of cigarettes had been stolen. This had happend a while back. Several other employees vehicles have also been broken into. With all of the known problems with theft and vandelisim on their parking lot, I ask, why are there no signs warning that they are not responsible for items that amy be stolen from cars on their lot? Or perhaps, please take items of value inside with you. The parking lot has no video survailence, no warning signs, and had we known there has been such a high rate of vehicle break-ins and thefts on their lot never would my spouse or myself would have ever thought about leaving anything of value locked in our vehicle on their parking lot. The person who stole Kara's purse managed to make three purchases at Target one for $315.00, a second for $55.00 and a third for another $55.00. They did manage to get video of these transactions. The perpetrator did get all of Kara's keys the house keys, the keys to her Lincoln, and Mustang, her drivers license, Social Security Card, all of her medical cards, her iPod valued at $200 her cell phone valued at $150 and the Title to her mustang that she just bought at a auction for $1,300 plus tax. We had to replace the locks on our home, the locks for her cars, running everywhere, getting replacemnt for her license, and making tons of phone calls. The stress, and aniexity is off scale so I am writing this as a way to warn others and to release some of the stress. In a way I hold Golden Corral responsible, for they have known for quite a while that they have had a problem with thefts and break-ins of cars on their parking lot but have made no attempt to coorect the problem nor warn any of their customers and to me this is just not right.
Went to the Golden Corral today in Findlay,OH with the family for dinner. I had a long day at work and the kids were hungry and it was getting late. We got there about 6:15 or so and found a table right away. The place was darn near empty. I got all the kids thier plates and got them sitting down. I then went back to get my own plate together. While I was up there a small grease fire had started on the grill. And to my utter disbelief I see the employees start to throw water on the flames. Of course that only made the situation worse. Next thier throwning flour on it..everyone is in a panic. I hear one of the ladies say,"Come on guys we got to get this." They were all running around and then here comes the "Manager". And I use that term very loosly. She just added to the craziness. No one could find the extinguisher for several minuets. When the "Manager" did find it she didn't know how to use it, or maybe she was just scared. I was right there with my food when she started spraying. Any how the fire deparment came and the "Manager" didn't want to give everyone a refund, only the ones who had paid after the fire started. Needless to say we will never be back to that Golden Corral again!
My daughter works at Golden Corral in Chillicothe, ohio. I found out my daughter was using drugs and went to talk with her at work...manager Darcy was very rude and when I call they will not let me talk w her. When you are trying to save a young person you would think ....her employer might help.
Golen correl in conway arkansas the trays and silerware dirty. Also the female restroom the stainless steel door had finger prints and ice cream on them. The trash underneath sink was over flowing. The toilet needed flushing. The sink and floor needed touch up as well.
Took my Wife out to eat for Mothers Day and as we thought everyone was busy on a day like this, But this Golden Corral was Terrible , I mean there was only a few items ready for people to eat, My Grandson wanted Chicken and there was none ready, No Side items, waited 20 min for the Chicken and side items to be ready, and by the time the line went around for the chicken the was only 2 pieces left. The Manager/ Owner seemed all he was interested in was getting you in the door to pay and seated after that it was nothing to him. This was the worst time i have had in a long time eating out,the quality of the food, service & non-concerning attitude of the manager. I spent $34.95 at this establishment for a good meal but instead in leaving with a very unpleasant feeling that i got screwed. You would of thought that on Mothers Day, they would of went out of there way to make things close to prefect, But not this Golden Corral. Seemed all they wanted was your money and after that you was on your own. You had the staff yelling at each other about what was needed on the Bar's and half the stuff they was taking out had to be put back because it was not done, I was there for almost an hour and a half for 3 pieces of chicken and Mac and Cheese, My wife had The pot roast and there was just enough of that for 2 people. I do not know how to run a restaurant, but for sure this owner manager, or what ever he is had no clue in what he was doing, Or no wait, he did, he got you in the doo and took your money and that was it, because it did not seem no one cared that everyone was waiting on the food to be placed out. This Restaurant is Located in Clarksville Tn Store # 2493
We just left Golden Corral in Pharr Texas where we took my husbands family for Mothers Day like we have for the past two years! (As well as for Valentines Day) The service today was completely inexcuseable especially since it was the manager who was being soo rude! My husband & I and our 2 daughters were in line almost ready to pay when my husbands family comes walking in at the end of the line. I told the cashier that we would be paying for everyone (which in total made us 12) she said she would ask a manager! This is where John Gomez comes in & tells me I can only pay for MY own mother!! That if its not my mother I can't pay! I responded by telling him that I could pay for whoever I wanted to & did not need to be told who I can or can't pay for since it is in reality MY money!! He then proceeded to tell me that they could not join us even if I did pay for them. Which in a sense I found crazy cause there is no reason they can't come and join us if I already paid for them!! The fact that I live in that city && my husbads family lives about 20 minutes. away. accounted for them getting there late! Now in the past years
Can you put German Cuisine on the menu. You have home cooking, seafood, chinese, itailian and mexican. Why not add some german food, like wiener schnitzel, sauerbraten, bratwurst, spazele and jaeger schnitzel.
This isn't a review, but a Request. I live in Crystal River, Florida. I have a friend of mine who owns a Cody's Original Roadhouse Restaurant on Hwy 19 in town, which use to be a Golden Coral. He's had the Cody's for aprox 11 yrs, and it was vacant for aprox 18 mo's prior to that. Before that, it was a Golden Coral for aprox 20yrs.That makes the building aprox +33yrs old. It's also a 4,800 sq ft floor plan. I've been doing minor carpentering for the owner off-&-on for 2yrs. He'd like to make some other modifications that would be a lot easier If I had some floor plans. The problem is that when I go to our local Building Dept. in the county (which usually requires/keeps copies of blueprints)they don't have any copies they can give me. They don't have anything more than aprox 12yrs old. There was a "no-name" storm that came thru Citrus County prior to that that destroyed/flooded their earlier building department and destroyed All their documentation. So..... Do you have?... And, Can you Give or Sell me a copy of this old floor plan? I'm hoping this 33yr old floor plan was the same for most of your restaurant's at that time,and... "Maybe" I'd get lucky and you'd have a generic floor plan for the late 1970's. Would you happen to have any old floor plans, and if not, would you know where I could look?? Thanks Joe B. Me and my husband stopped to eat at a golden corral, in Alamogordo, New Mexico. The place was filthy, and the food was horrible. If the food is made fresh everyday it would have tasted fresh, but it tasted like it was saturated with preservatives and had a terrible taste. I was very disappointed and vowed never to eat there again.
I went to the Golden Corral in Moberly, Missouri tonight. While there, we had great service from the staff. The food was good and our waitress did an amazing job. But when my 22 year old son dropped some food on the floor, the owner walked by and saw there was a little bit of whipped cream on the carpet. From there he made comments to me like, "I just spent $400 last night to get these floors clean. You wouldn't let him act like this at home. Would you?" I found this very offensive. That is not how you treat you paying customers. I paid my $12.95 for that meal. And after I cleaned the floor up, with the help of the waitress, I noticed she was crying. The owners had chewed her out for my son making a mess. I am told all the time of how they treat their female employees there. They treat them badly. That is not how you treat an employee. I want something done about this. Behavior like this is not okay!

Remove the recent advertisement of the "fleeing black couple from the rear seat of a moving car." And I will go back to being unaware of the Golden Corral's existence... In this case operating covertly, is better suited to the business ethics of this underground, poorly ran franchise. If this is all a mistake, it can be corrected... By delivering an affective blow in the opposite (right direction.) Start by Removing & replacing the offensive commercial with something realistic, that caters to everyday life. Clearly, the advertising agency, and the decision makers missed that point. We're talking about food.... "Not an extreme sport." Even if extreme sports were the subject of the pitch, the storyline was a flagrant mistarget. I haven't any reality on frequenting buffets, but I am a consumer. And as of now, Golden Corral and it's advertising team ranks #1 in... "How To Kill A Business."
Three months ago the Greeley Colorado corral was excellent. Now, it feels like it is in the slums. The tables, floors , and bathrooms were disgustingly dirty. The staff behind the food lines were all huddled in the back chatting while butter, salads, dressings and many items were empty. I was quite frankly appalled and so saddened as this used to be one of our favorite restaurants ! I talked to the manager about no butter being out ... his attitude was that I was annoying to him. He did not offer to get us butter for our baked potatoes. We will not return. T his would be a good one for an undercover sting operation to catch the true laziness of management and staff!
