School Orders

My Video Game Design instructor wanted to order 15 games for her class. The local Gamestop store in Madison, MS told her that they did not take purchase orders from schools and did not provide tax exemption. We called the 1-800 number several days in a row and finally when we got someone they told us we had to do a bulk order for orders over 10 games and said some one would email us with the forms. That was over a week ago. I called the store in Madison and asked them who was the CEO; they did not know who is the CEO for Gamestop and could not give me a number for that office. They then put me on hold. I was on hold for 20 min. I hung up and called back. They would not answer. I tried several times. Poor customer service! We will order from Best Buy!

Liars

I was sent an email with an offer for a 3 month xbox live membership for $12.99 I ordered online and gave my information. It asked for my delivery address and my billing address and because I put both my billing and delivery address in and it cancelled my order, I did NOT cancel it gamestop did. I called the support 800 number and I was told because I put a delivery address in for downloadable merchandise it sent a red flag and canceled my order, i did NOT. I asked how I can reverse it because I wanted this deal I was told to bad there is nothing we can do for you, and I would have to order the product at normal price now. Over something I did NOT cancel that the gamestop business did. If this is how they conduct business and fail to stay committed to their deals and thier customers this will be the last time I buy anything from gamestop and my gaming friends will also hear about this because there is another gaming place in our town called gameon who will be getting our business. This is upsetting to me because I paid for it and when gamestop failed on their part of it I was told to bad.

Fun

I would like to say that i love gamestop; whenever i need something replaced or fixed they are always of great help to me! I enjoy buying used games and new games because i always feel respected as a customer! My main gamestop is in Altoona Iowa but pretty much any gamestop in central Iowa is great! Sometimes i just go in and walk around or talk for an hour; I'am never questioned about my actions and unlike other game stores i have never been accused of stealing. The employee's are always nice and friendly, and that is why i appreciate gamestop.

No credit for trade ins

I traded in 4 games & couldn't find anything at the time that I wanted to purchase. So I decided to have the credit put on my GameStop power up card. Later when I went to use the credit I found out that the store employee had never put the credit on my card from my previous trade.

code problem

I also am having the same problem with the code and the email for the rewards with the call of duty 2 game... i was also told they can not help me and i purchased the care package which cost me way over $200.00. they took my money and now they dont care what i have to say....i have been unhappy with gamestop for a while now and i think this just helped me decide to buy elsewhere

Don't Bother Me

Went to gamestop recently to get call of duty black ops 2 and I got the downloadable preorder Code for downloadable content wave 4. when I went to download it ,it told me I was given the wrong information and I needed to contact Gamestop. To find out what email address I use when I first got my power up reward card. I did, the lady told me she could not help me look up my own email and did nothing to help me"'

I was a former employ in training and was told i was supposed to get paid for my training and compensation for the mileage. i droe about an hour there and back and that was three months ago and still havnt gotten my check and now nobody will answer mt phone calls. whats going on with this Gamestop?i

i pre ordered the wii u sept 19 2012 i called to verify the order was ok the lady on the phone wa very rude to me so i asked o speak to her manager she then hung up the phone on me 5 min later i recieved an email my order was cancelled now my9 year old son is not going to get the only thing ohis xmas list cause it on back order now what a way to run a buisness huh

Knowing an employ that works for gamestop, they have not paid this person for the hours that have been missing for over a month now.. she has went through mgt . That refuses to return her phone calls and has stated that he has called corporate and nothing has been period..she is moving ahead with legal process next.. this is the reason why good people turn for the worst because bad companies as this one... this is coming from memphis , Tn .. krama will work its best for this I promise you..

I went to gamestop to get a game. Modern warefare three. I also needed a 12 month membership for my xbox live. i went to the front of the store with my mom and he gave me the price. either he was bad at math, or wanted to scam me. i have to do a project at school sending a letter to a company. i chose gamestop.(bad choice). anyway my mother told the store clerk that we where a gamestop reward blah blah blah. we typed in our address and he said that he was sorry. the manager walks over, kicks him off, and tells us our thing has expired. REALLY? we stormed out of the store. i was looking for GameStop HQ address when i stumbled along this place.

Gamestop on 6017 s. Goldenrod rd in orlando fl has the WORST customer service you can find. The store manager DAVID is extremely rude and has no anners. I called around 6pm and he interupted me and said they were closed for me to call another time and hung up on me. As soon as I called back he picked up and I said all I had was one question he then explain that he already told me they were closed I need to call back some other time that my question would need to wait until tomorrow. This was the worst expirence I have ever had. Sorry game stop but youve lost another customer.

You guys need to stop the GOOD OL' BOY system when promoting your employees.Ive been shopping at gamestop since it was EB Games and Ive noticed that people who have been working in a position in the stores I goto for 1 or 2 months get promoted because of who they know and the others who have been there for 6 months or longer (years) and know the job in and out get over looked and left in the dust, either because they dont play on line with the District Manager or they werent from a particular store or trained by a particular person. Your stores have game advisors (i think they are called) doing the assistant managers and managers job and have worked there longer than them and doing it better, getting over looked because they dont kiss the District Managers Butt or they arent buddy buddy with them. You should promote by time in and performance not on who you know. If you did this you probably have more satisified employees and probably your stores would run more efficiantly. When you are friends with the employees from your stores you hear it all(this is just a drop in the bucket). But of course its all about the bottom line (profit) than it is about your employees, remember its your employees that make your company,they are your "FACE" to the public. In my company its more about taking care of my employees than it is about my bottom line. You take care of them they will take care of you. Once I realized this my business took off. "Its amazing what GREED will do to you."

Horrible, Horrible, Horrible policies!!!! Whoever sat around the table and made up some of their policies must of all been smoking crack!!!!!! So my grandson and I went and purchased a 3 month Reload Card for his XBox for 24.99. We left the store, and when we got home, could not find the card. Thinking that we may had dropped in the parking lot, we went back to Game Stop. It wasn't. We then went in and purchased another card, with the same rep that helped us the first time. Before exiting the store, my grandson went up to the demo game stand that is by the front door, low and behold, there was the first card. I turned around to the rep, and told he that we just found it!!! This wasn't even 30 seconds from purchasing the second card, he then proceeds to tell me that he can't do a refund on the second card...COMPANY POLICY!!! I couldn't believe it!!! I said, seriously, you can't refund me even though I JUST ?!?" He said no, and I told him that Game Stops policies SUCK!!!!!! He told me that I would have to go online to contact FAST CARD to see if they could help me....WOW, what great customer service...NOT!!! I will NEVER purchase another item from Game Stop again!

i put 1 star on here because thats as low as the rate bar will let me go. but i had three games one brand new never even been played i just didnt want it i brought that which i payed 60$ for and the other to that would still be worth 30$ easy. i took all of them in there to trade in they wanted to give me 1.50$ for all of them!!! game stop is the BIGGEST rip off ever i hate game stop

it seems to me thething with gamestop is the word bait switch and if you ask an intelligent question do you have it its like they wil do any thing for you to buy the more expensive item i would love to see the bbb investigat egame stop and fine them for unscrupulous practices or get them where it hurts ask for them from there mailing list

My son got a used PSP from his Grandma for his Birthday.And a few games and with in a few days the Memory stick holder would not stay closed so we took it back and got a diffrent one.And with in 2 days the R2 button was not working right.So we took it back again and got another one.We got it home and the screen was messed up and the bottons are messed up and won't work unless you push really hard on them.Now I have had enough of this and want my money back or a brand new one!!!Or my next step is to call the BBB

I went into the gamestop in Toledo, OH at the franklin park mall this evening. I was going to buy a 3DS XL and some games. I walk in, 3 employees, 2 customers (including myself). I started browsing by the 3ds accessories, no one said "hi" or "can I help you?". So, I proceed to the counter and stand there, patiently for someone to at LEAST acknowledge that there is a human being standing in a place of business by the cash register... NOTHING! 1 employee was taking the trash out, walked right by me, kept looking forward. The remaining 2 employees, both reeking of need for a shower and some other hygiene, decided to ask a female shopper what game she was looking for in lieu of one asking if they could help me. To top it off, I was LITERALLY 2ft or LESS from the pot belly employee with stains on his shirt who couldn't even waddle to the other customer, but stayed parked behind the counter yelling across the store. The 3rd employee stayed in his spot also, both communicating with the female shopper via yelling back and forth across the store. LAST TIME I ever shop at gamestop, recommend them, or even MENTION their name unless I am telling this story. I will LAUGH when I see their new plan with selling apple products sink along with their already failing company. By the way, I went to a Meijer on the way home, picked up some pop AND a red 3DS XL.

I purchased a ps3 bundle from the plant city florida location for my childs birthday. I was told by mgmt i would get better deal with the bundle... so I bought it... Got the unit home, showed it was checked by a mike and was in working condition. Well my fiance installed the unit and noticed it still had 2 user names on it... hmmm... I thought... then we proceeded to load one of the games we got with the purchase, it would go thru its cycle when you would start to play the beginning of the game it would automatically shut down... this happened twice... we called gamestop , management told us to bring it in... brougt it in and was told to reboot the system because sony had no recalls... whatever that meant... did that and it still crashed... called the manager the next day still did it and he said he had no units exept what was on pawn hold but would search and call me back... I got no call called the next day and was told I could look on line or get a refund... how nice... called corporate... no help... same words wouldnt even cut the cost of a new unit to make a child happy.. I will have to pay the difference of the new unit if i want to do business with them even though I spend quite a bit of money with them... Gee Thanks... A valued game stop customer ... I would rather sell my games online now then to you....
