how could you do that to a young kid

I spent almost $200 on an Xbox for my 5 year old son for his birthday. He loves skylanders. He got to play his favorite game 3 times. Now it don't work. We had it a little over 30 days and now my poor 5 year old can't play it. It was a birthday present for him. Now his heart is broken. Thank you games top for breaking my poor boy's heart and thank you for ripping us off. Somebody needs to fight this an take them to court. Maybe I will. Its still calling stealing games top you should be ashamed of your company.

The manager at my local GameStop was the rudest, most disrespectful, condescending, unprofessional SOB I've ever met & when I called the corporate office to complain, THEY were rude!!!! How do these people stay in business?

I cannot stress enough on how rude your employees and manager(s) are at the store on Graham Ave in Brooklyn!!! Awful customer service!!! Not to mention, that they give the worst attitude when anyone asks if they're hiring.

wwe13 gamestop crazy nightmare, gamestop gave me a defective wwe13 ps3 game that does not work since last Christmas and made false promises to replace the game and it never happened, and gamestop customer and gamestop corp has no respect for anyone not even themselves, they rip honest people off on new and used games that have scratches and that are defective, and have a no return policy that screws the customer out of their money and they charge more money than walmart, target, gamefly on games new and used, and they never return phone calls and they never answer their phones, and they even sell used hardware, controllers, etc for game systems that are defective and useless. Don't ever do business with them.

Rude assiciates and manager

Me and my husband went into the game stop in Danville KY to purchase either a wii or playstation 3 upon speaking to girl employee all she could answer our questions with was I think so probably and I'm pretty sure. Then I went and asked the manager the same questions and he was rude right off the start. I'm sorry but i was not taking answers to our questions as i think so, probably, if i was going to spend $200-$400 on something. So meedless to say i didn't purchase anything I'm highly unlikely going back in to this store.

won't ever shop there again

Bought a PS3 as a gift and the child already had one. No where in the store was it posted but when I tried to return it they told me that after paying349.99...god of war edition.....that all they could give me for it unopened was 100.00. I will be telling all of my friends about them and that e-bay can and will always beat their prices and also guarantees your purchase.

Ripped off

I ordered the Heart of the Swarm Special edition to show up at the release and be told that I only got the normal one. The MANAGER said he would try to get a special edition one if he could find one. So I waited. I called back and the store denied everything. Screwing me out of a lot of money. You people are pathetic. I am making sure every friend I have and every other servicemen I work with to never shop from Game Stop ever again.

Bad

i pre ordered a game online and it's been more than a week and it still haven't arrived. and when i checked the tracking they say that i apparently gave the wrong address and it's being sent back to my sender and i know i didn't put the wrong address, i know where i live. Bad, they don't know how to deliver a simple game, they never answer the phone, first and last time i'm using this to pre order a game. HORR-I-BLE

ANSWER THE PHONE!

We have 2 Gamestops here in Unintown Pa and they never answer the phone. I've been standing in Gamestop the employee's are doing nothing and they'll pick up the phone and hang up on the people calling just to go back to doing nothing.I ended up taking my business else where and they missed out on me spending 500 dollars at their store because I couldn't get a hold of anyone. You should do under cover phone calls to these places. Their lack of knowledge on deals and having to explain it to them is a nightmare.I'm close to never walking in there again and just buying from other sources.

Recently went to the Game Stop in Brighton, Michigan to purchase the new Black Ops II season pass. The employee did the computer entry for the purchase and I signed for the purchase for my son. When I got home and tried to enter the code given I found that the store had given me the code for an Xbox and not a Playstation 3 as I had requested. I called the store and was rebuffed by both the employee and manager stating that when I signed for the purchase of the pass I agreed to the purchase as is. The store was not willing in any way to admit their responsibility in the matter and blew me off. This is the second time this store has given me a game for a system other than what I have. The first time I chalked it up to a mistake....twice now proves poor business and their response and attitude proves lousy customer service. Best advice to anyone reading this is go somewhere, go anywhere else other than game stop. One star unfortunately is the lowest rating that can be given otherwise Id give lower.

Theft

A bunch of my games were stolen and I went to gamestop to inquire if anyone recently sold a lot of videos. Judging by their response, they buy stolen merchandise all the time. Won't shop there ever again.

Worst Customer Service

I order xbox points from game stop with a $100 gift card. They cancelled my order "no name" on card. That was on 2/3. As of today 2/9 they have yet to release or refund the $75.44 for the order. Every phone call takes at lease 30 to 40 minutes and they can't seem to help. Every email response; It will reimburse after 24 hrs; it will fall off after 3-5 days etc. What is their next answer. I am on hold with them once again as I write this review. My next stop is BBB to file a complaint as well as the FCC.

Worthless

I ordered a Fire Emblem and the release date online was 2/4. I went into the store and they said they hadn't got the shipment but should be in by noon. I left and came back and they then told me they were not expecting it until tomorrow. The next day I called and asked if they had it in the store and they said yes. I went in and they said they didn't have it yet. They do nothing but waste your time and know nothing. I will never go to that store ever again. The people don't know what they are doing

Customer Service

We had an issue with our $100 gift card which showed a balance of zero when we tried to use it. We had paid cash and the receipt was thrown out by my daughter. So, we though we were out $100. Today around noon or so, we went to GameStop at Pearlridge Downtown (Aiea, Hawaii). They worked with us and the corporate office for about an hour and was able to fix the issue. I'm sorry, but I didn't get their names! They were so patient with us, friendly and very professional. I just wanted to let you know what great customer service they provided our family! Many thanks! My son received a $25 gift card for Christmas and used it in the Belle Vernon, PA store. He total came to $25.38 and gave the clerk a dollar to cover the 38 cents. The clerk took the money and handed back his gift card. When I asked for the change, I was told there was still a balance (62 cents) on the card. When asked why, I was told so that we can come back and spend more money!!!! I am not complaining about the money, it's the principle. I don't think we will EVER step foot in that store again. They don't even deserve 1 star..

total crap/Buckeye AZ store

As I look at the posts, I am in the same crowd. I preordered Halo 4 console & game. MADE WEEKLY payments. Go to pick it up when told I could...cause we checked WEEKLY. Go in on 12/19/12 and a regional manager took the 4 out of the store 3 weeks ago...yet the CSR KEPT TAKING MY MONEY!!!! Now I dont have an XMAS present because of corporate backdooring me for his/her friends. Pretty much theft of services. LOOK AT THEIR RATINGS..how are they still in business...so they offered me a regular console and a free game and controller...wow....whoopdee do.....I am calling their corporate office and better business bureau...only 1 star cause I HAD to put one in.....

FALSE ADVERTIZING ON GAMESTOP! I traded 10 games in for a WII game and still payed full price for a pre-owned all scratched up! No credit shows on my receipt for the trade in, so I took my business to WAL-MART and got my WII GAME BRAND NEW AND STILL PAYED LESS THEN A PRE-OWNED! RIP OFF GAMESTOP IS!
