It is now 4/27/2012- And I am still fighting for my money back: Never use a credit card at Forever 21- if they have a credit card issue you will never get your money back. below zero if possible !!!! On March 30th, I went into the Rockaway ,NJ store and purchased items, as I was paying for my items, their computer froze, and although the key pad showed approved they told me it didnt and I would have to rescan my card, I told them I wasnt comfortable with this since I saw the "approved on the keypad, they said well we dont see it registering at all and check your bank statement and if you see it on there 2x we will correct it for you. Next day i checked my statement sure enough it was on there 2x, called store they tell me they cant help me I have to call corporate,(but they did remember it happening to me at store) call corporate everyday left on hold without one person coming on the phone 5 days in a row for 20- 25 minutes each time,(I am on hold as we speak). Getting frustrated I called the store back and spoke with the manager her name was Lauren, took all my info assured my that her or the district manager will call me back with a solution. As of Saturday heard from no one, called again spoke to a different manager ( she faguely heard of story) said doesnt know enough about it would leave message again for Lauren to call me first thing Sunday morning, Sunday came, sunday went, no return phone call from anyone from this company. This AM call again speak to manager, said she would call back or Luis the district manager its 4 hours later, what a surprise have not heard again from anyone. Not once did a customer service rep call me back from this company , not once, I have had to track them down each and everytime with no results or my 65.06 returned to me. Told her the reciept number and can show them the bank statement to prove it came out twice. her reply was well not that I am calling you a liar but we dont show that transaction twice (but btw on the first phone call she did say that the same thing happened to someone else the same day) Extremely frustrated with everything and everyone at this company. EXTREMELY UNPROFESSIONAL_ TOTAL LACK OF CUSTOMER SERVICE!!! Its going viral now, cause this is ridiculous!!!

The fitting room personnel at the Garden state plaza Forever 21 are in great need of retraining or firing! The rudeness with which they speak to the customers is something that would only help with if they used them as examples of how NOT to treat the customers! They need to be monitored by corporate (if they care) so that good customer service can be provided at that store. If this company has the verse John 3:16 on there bags- how about treating customers with something remotely related to this- kindness! Corporate- don't let this and many other reviews go un-noticed, this will be the downfall of your business in the long run.

Drove two hours north to Phoenix to shop at Forever 21 because they have the Heritage 1981 line at the Arizona Mills location. I found a beautiful denim floral vest but like usual they didn't have it in my size. I looked around and found the same vest on a mannequin in the same store. It was a size small and the last one for that matter. I asked the manager if she could sell me the vest and explained that I had looked for a small throughout the store. She replied that store policy says it must stay on the mannequin until they change styles. I decided to check online and of coarse they didn't have it in a small. What a shitty policy! I am so unhappy.... I guess Forever 21 didn't want my money...they will have to sell it on clearance by the time they take it off of the mannequin.....Dissatisfied
I hate the customer service at this store!!! I ordered a dress online in October of 2011, the store sent my item and now here it is 6 months later April 2012 and they've just deducted the money for the dress out of my account. I'm pissed, I called customer service and some foreign lady with an accent I barely understood said that there must have been a delayed transaction ugh! So I said I want my money deposited back into my account and they can have there dress back that I've never worn, which still has the price tag on it and I don't ever have to shop at their company again. I think it's completely ridiculous that a company sends you an item and charges your account 6 months later that utterly ridiculous and pathetic, what type of retail store does that! NEVER SHOPPING AT FOREVER 21 AGAIN. Sad thing is that this was my 1st time even shopping there and I had a bad experience...this store is so sad!
I have to share something with you all. I hear about things everyday and I just can't take it anymore. If anyone else out there has a similar problem please share! My co-worker's daughter works at a Forever 21 in Hampton Roads and she said that she calls her crying all the time about a large spectrum of things, from the dress code to the ridiculous-sounding tasks she's assigned to do. One would think that Forever 21's dress code just entailed that you looked your best everyday at work. However, the dress code is actually pretty strict to the point where her daughter can't wear anything in her closet. She needed the money since she was away at college all by herself so her mother gave her enough money to buy pretty much a whole new wardrobe. She came into work the next day with a new outfit and still got in trouble! My co-worker was so upset that she asked for the district manager's number from the manager and she gave her a false number and name!!!!! What kind of manager does that? Her daughter finally tried handling the situation in her own hands by calling headquarters and they don't even care! The manager is still working there!! There are plenty of people out there more qualified than that pompous lard. Also, she informed me that her daughter is not allowed to show her tattoos, so while everyone gets to enjoy the nice weather with their tanks and tees, she has to wear at least a 3/4 sleeve shirt and a scarf to cover her upper arms and her chest. What if she passes out from the heat?!?! She can't work in a jacket all day, especially when the manager doesn't do anything about the problem with the circulation in her store!! She also told me that her manager is pure evil at its best. She makes it so unbearable to work for, always yelling at them for little things and always issuing write ups for HER wrong doings, not the actual employee's. She also told me that the manager enforces this dress code but doesn't follow it. I actually took a vacation down to Virginia Beach with my co-worker and her daughter and we went into the Forever 21 there and I couldn't notice that the manager had on spandex leggings as pants, a plain short sleeve tee, and some Nike's. Now, how is it that my friend's daughter got yelled at for wearing her Nike's but the manager can? Oh! And why is it okay to make her wear sleeves while the manager's tattoo on the backside of her neck is fully visible? Ridiculous. And I saw the manager flat out yelling at employees and it made the shopping experience very uncomfortable. Her daughter also told me that her manager is somewhat racist and practices discrimination, especially on pregnant women. She said her friend wasn't hired until after she gave birth to her baby, waiting a good 7 months before getting that phone call back. She also said that her manager said that "white people smell like wet dogs" and apparently if her manager is speaking to an employee of Asian descent and sees a customer of Asian descent, she refers to that customer as the employee's cousin. How rude can you be? My friend's daughter isn't rude enough to approach every African American female saying "Oh it's your cousin!" She also explained to me that the management team is lazy and takes advantage of all their employees. She said that she's heard of her manager asking people to run personal errands for her while on the clock, with intentions to get them in trouble. She said her manager literally sits in the back room on her cell phone, Facebooking all damn day and still has the nerve to yell at her employees for "being unproductive." Why would you want to set your employees up for failure? Karma is a bitch and it's going to get her. I see a lot of people wondering what they can do. A little tid bit from my friend's daughter, you can't do anything but possibly file an EEOC claim, especially if you work for the actual company and experience hostile working conditions. The district manager of that area apparently wants their employees to give out a fake name and number if they want to speak to her so there's no use there. Maybe the other district managers will treat you better. And don't bother calling corporate because they don't care. If they cared, they'd immediately fix the problem. Forever 21 is the worst company to work for. Kids, skip on Forever 21. Their discount isn't spectacular, their management teams are unprofessional and liars, and their employees look miserable because of it. Don't even.
March 27, 2012 – I went to Forever 21, they lady (Lisa cahier) was very nice helping me find an undergarment, to go under my shirt. I stated to Lisa, I will pay cash for this sweater. She run my stuff up, I used my ATM VISA card the card went through not declined. I look inside my wallet and say, that’s okay I don’t want the sweater ($22.50), and the cashier Lisa stated “Why you don’t have enough money to buy the sweater at $22.50”!!! I told her why we you say something like that to your customer in your store. Lisa stated I am very sorry! I didn’t mean to say that, I ask her does it look like I could not afford to buy anything in this store. I told her that I could buy anything in this Damn store. As I recognize this is a minimum wage job. I asked her what your name she would not tell me, so she calls Victoria the Manager. I inform Victoria the problem of what Lisa stated “Why you don’t have enough money to buy the sweater” Lisa starting explain indicate that I told her that I could not purchased the sweater I didn’t have enough money, I told her now you are a liar, you underestimate, me and now you are lying to me. She then stated my card was declined I should her receipt, and ask her where is it declined. She indicates no not your card I am sorry! I was buying stuff for my daughter, I could only imagining her tells my 13 years daughter this and how many more people did she state this too. Looking at all the negative comments on this toll poll is ridiculous I WILL NEVER COME TO THIS DAMN STORE AGAIN. They have poor attitudes in this store, the customer service is ridiculous.
If there was a zero rating, I would give Forever 21 that. Forever 21 is a money hungary company that does care anything about people. It's all about the money. I work for a school and I am the coach of a team. I purchased $291 of jackets from one of their stores. When I bought them back for my team to try on, three of the jackets were too small. I called the store and the woman was nice enough to check all the surrounding stores for the X-Large. The jackets did not come in a XL so we looked into getting the vests but they only had 2 in the store. Again, the lady called around and none of the other stores had any of the jackets. I looked online to see what they had and they had the vests so I ordered them. When I went back to the store to return the jackets, I was told that I could only get store credit. I tried to talk with the manager and he was useless. We are non profit organization and only receive funds through fundraisers and donations. Now, how am I suppose to replace $291? Anyway, when I purchased the jackets, there was nothing there to say that you only get store credit and when I ordered online, it didn't state it eitehr. Or if it did, it was small enough for you to miss. They know what they are doing. I will never order another item from there and will make it my business to communicate to all the other schools to be mindful when ordering or purchasing anything from Forever 21.
I was reading what Anon wrote above and we had almost the exact same thing happen to us. My daughter was trying on clothes and found what she wanted to buy. She went directly to the front counter with me and realized that she forgot her purse. Within a minute or two, the money was gone. At first the employee ( the only one back there) told me that some girls handed her the purse and I chased them down and was ready to call security. When the girls parents came in, she changed the story and ran away crying. The store handled it poorly and I do feel that the employee must have taken the 4. We will never shop there again! No one cared and they made e feel lie I was nuts, trying to get to the bottom of this! Obviously hearing Anon's story, this is not the first time this has happened! Keep your purses by your side, or shop elsewhere like I will from now on.
The CEO is asian if that helps with all the complaints. I am not trying to be racist but my daughter works for them. She got her paycheck today and she is missing a whole lot of hours on it. I have been reading the reviews and I am very disappointed with this company. I dont want my daughter to work for a company that does not belive in Customer Service and treats people like shit.... I know she was told when you see the CEO to start clapping like if he was some god!! I personally dont like Forever 21 I think there clothes looks like swapmeet material! So I am glad I came and seen this because I know now that I forsure dont want her to work for them!
I can't believe I loved this store, I would always buy things from here. I had just received money for my birthday, I counted my money before I left my house. I keep my bagging with me at all times when I'm out. Forever21 was the first store I went into, there was barely people there because it was right after school. Since you could only bring in 6 items at a time when you're in the fitting room you have to leave the other items with the workers. I left my purse in my fitting room with piled clothes ontop of it and when I came back with the clothes I traded for everything seemed untouched. And there was probably only two other girls in the dressing area, they were non stop talking. My mom insisted on paying because it was my birthday, then later when I got home my money was missing. I may have no proof that the Forever21 workers stole my money, but I swore to myself I'd never go back to the store ever. Plus the workers there are just stuck up and full of themselves.
Worst Customer Service! Called my local store telling them my green leather jacket that i had bought there had a fishy odor when i unzippered it, the manager simply said "if it doesn't have the tags on it i can't help you" he didn't apologize, he straight said "can't help you" wow & you're a manager? He hung up on me.
i have been on hold for over 10 minutes! so i finally gave up. i tried calling the store but they wouldnt tell me the name of the ceo of forever 21!!!!! after i called the third time still without the information i needed the girl hung up on me!!!!! i called again after that and she told me stop calling! they need to hire employees who actually care about the customer
I walked in with my husband at about 2:30 pm yesterday looking for a dress I wanted to exchange to a bigger size, they did not have my size so I picked up another dress that was $2 and some change cheaper than the one I had purchased 2 weeks ago. When me and my husband went to the front desk to pay the cashier was very polite I had seen her the previous time when i purchased my dress 2 weeks ago she was in the dressing room giving numbers so girls try on the clothes, anyway she helped me that day with my zipper which is why I remembered her, so yesterday when we walked to the cash register to pay i told the cashier I would like to exchange this dress it's too small she asked me for my receipt and i was looking for it, while I was looking for my receipt the cashier called her manager to do the transaction and do the exchange as I was looking for my receipt and it took me like 3 minutes the manager was giving me a very dirty look and looked very impacient as i looked for my receipt to my husband had the receipt and handed it to me then i gave it to the cashier I laughed and said oh im so sorry my husband had the receipt and i laughed the manager kept giving me dirty looks, she did the exchange and noticed that the dress i had gotten to replace the other one was $2 and some change cheaper she rudely said you need to get a piece of candy or something else because I am not going to gove you cash back I just can't do it, so i thought in my head this girl is really rude and i am about to tell her something, i went quickly and got a pair of eaaring that were $1 and something more than what she asked me so noe i owed her $1 and some change, me and my husband were looking for change we handed her $1 and 24 cts so she starts speaking to us in spanish and says " es un dollar y 84 y told her oh im sorry i thought you said 24 cts not 84cts then i politely asked her if she was the manager because now she was being racist she has no idea if i speak spanish or not i look anything but spanish so when i asked her if she was the manager she rudely said "yes i am!" so i told her "you need to work on your customer service" she wouldn't let me say it because she was taking over me ignoring what i said she kept saying "uh hum yes sure have a great day, come back soon" so i got really upset that she wouldn't listen to me and kept talking over me repeating her self saying have a nice day tuning me out so then she handed me my yellow bag i snatched it from her and walked away and she was laughing at me and said "oh wow" i left the store so upset to the point i was going to pass out, i couldn't sleep at night and was so mad throught out the whole day and night she made my heart race and pressure go up and made my stomach hurt i kept feeling sick the rest of the day because of how angry she made me that has never happened before I am a frequent customer, i buy at the store and online very frequently, i honestly want her fired, i wanna file a complaint at forever 21 just don't know how but I am going to find out no one has ever treated me that way and caused me so much anger, i want upper management to look at the cameras and see how she acted with me and see how upset she made me. I would like to go back and talk to someone but since she is the manager i don't know if there is much i can do.
Recently I purchased a jacket for my daughter from forever 21. Well I took off the price tag and wrapped her gift. I see nothing wrong with this picture. Well my daughter didn't really care for the jacket. So easy fix I would just exchange it. WRONG! I took the jacket back with the receipt and the tags. I was told they could not exchange it because the tags had been removed. Although I had the tags. I couldnt believe it. I was told next time to leave the price tag on the garment. How nice and classy is that. I told my daughter that we will no longer do business with forever 21 nor buy gifts for any of her friends. I am forever disappointed with this company. Refund was not an option either.
To anonymous. Love it or leave it. That is easy. The economy is not really good. A lot of businesses are hurting. Unfortunately you have horrible policies and the customers want to vent. Maybe the should be communicating more with corporate. Apparently corporate does not care about their customers. They lack foresight and change. Other large clothing retailers have gone under. Get with it.

I just read most of your reviews and agree with most of the i will never ever shop at your store again what rite do you have to not give me my money back after providing a receipt and the tags were still on the the skirt instead i was offered credit or an exchange i wouldnt take either cause i will never promote your brand of cloths again and that skirt will go in the garbage as far as i am concerned. Worst employee ever her name is Tracey and works at the Braintree mall. This unprofessional emplyee not only slid my card across the counter onto the floor she threw my clothes in bag and threw my bag on the counter. I watched her customers after me and all of them were treated fairly. Was this and type of racial profiling?
