ii don't know what to say because this is all dumb!
COMPLIMENT! I have been shopping at Forever 21 for years now and have never been too impressed with their customer service. Recently, while shopping at Forever XXI at the Serramonte Center in Daly City, CA, their customer service has just blown me away! I’ve never been to any retail store where so many people greet you and all the employees are so willing to help, even if they look like they are extremely busy. One employee that really stands out to me is Rachel. I have been there several times and I always get her as my cashier and I couldn’t be any happier about it! She always knows exactly where everything is and her positive attitude always makes me leave with a smile. I believe this girl deserves to be recognized but it is almost impossible to find the corporate email! So readers before you completely give up on Forever 21, check this location out. All of the employees are fantastic!
my two sisters and i shop at forever 21 for anything and everything. my younger sister and i went in to the forever21 in the STONEBRIAR MALL in FRISCO, TX during a slow tuesday afternoon. a creepy looking older man was in there and was staring at us so we walked to another part of the store. there was an employee about 5 ft from us, and i was kneeling down to loosen a pair of shoes my sister was trying on and i notice this man getting close behind my sister and took a picture under her dress. i immediately got up and confronted him, while the employee just kept going on with what she was doing. i asked her if she worked there and to do something..she did nothing. she looked at me with a blank stare all while this man just walks right out and the employee went back to work. by the time i realized this employee was not going to be of any help in this serious and degrading situation, i left to get the man myself but he had vanished. she was of no assistance, did not contact mall security or anything. later after 30 minutes of trying to contact security ourselves, we went back to forever21 to make a complaint about the situation. we asked to speak to the manager, whom had not been informed of the situation. we simply wanted to know why there was no action taken on their behalf, and she had nothing but excuses for her employee, saying her employee "is just an accessory girl", giving us the run around, and contradicting herself. ultimately, she gave us the district managers # (AUDREY HUNT) whom did not answer or even return our phone call/voice mail. we got a corporate number ourselves, and we tried for 30 minutes to get in contact with a REAL person to talk to and we were constantly just being disconnected. i never ever imagined that such poor and horrible customer service could exist.
I absolutely love Forever 21. This store has almost everything you need for any occasion. Customer service here is amazing, you get greeted before you even enter the store. I found the employees to be very helpful and even though the store is huge they knew exactly where everything was. I would definitely recommend this store to anyone in need of a good shopping experience.
I went to the store in Montebello CA on 1/09/2011 I purchase a kit top there price 14.70$ The guy Michael was a chasier on that day. I bought 11 items. I believe he punch in one of the item number without a tag. I did not notice it until i got home try on that particular item a gain did not like it.. the very next day i went back i asked for a returned with the original recipt. the cashire was alrite but the store manager is very rude. All she said is without the tag on there is nothing they can do. I don think that is a way to handle the situation. The store manager should have more knowledge than that. She did not think it was her false that did not train employee rite. what she told me is " Michael is the top chasire over at forever Motebello CA, he could not make mistake like that. He would have given a writen tag if there was not any tag on. Forever always been my favorite store to shop at but i don think they hired the rite person to work. The store manager at montebello CA doe not have the knowledge to be in that posittion.. I feel so sad not because i lost that money, it s because the rudeness that they treated me and poor poor very poor knowlegde of the that store manager. Forever 21 is pretty known store they should not cheated their customer like that. we are your customer, try to work with us not argue with us like that.... because of that experiences make me discourage to go back to forever21. THEIR CUSTOMERS IS ALWAYS WRONG... THEIR CAHSIR IS ALWAYS RITE........ THAT IS A REALLY POOR STATEMENT THAT THEY MADE... ....
I purchased a few items at Forever 21 in Fairfield, CA. I ended up having to EXCHANGE one of the jackets I purchased. When I was helped at the counter, they weren't all that nice. But my major concern was the fact that, I apparently, purchased it on sale. And instead of them doing an EVEN EXCHANGE,(WITH RECEIPT IN HAND)!!! they charged me $3.55 to exchange it, (the dollar is amount is not the point). Ultimately I no longer got the sale price. They said I no longer get the sale price because the sale is over!! WHAT THE HECK!!!! I don't get it at all. I called back and talk to Grace and she was willing to give me the money back. I tried catching her one day and she wasn't there. But her co-workers/manager would not assist me and told me to come back at 4:00 when Grace would be there. This was 12 in the afternoon!! I had other stuff to do. They said since she was the one that said she would do it, I needed to talk to her. Forever 21 is a lousy business!! What if I had purchased a gift that was on sale for someone else and they wanted to exchange it. They would have to pay the difference to get another size???? Crazy!!
I had shopped at this store for Christmas...I will NEVER EVER shop at this store again. Like others I have had a very bad experience with the sales people and managers. I had purchased a coat that was on sale and paid by debt card. When I left the store and got home, I notice on my receipt that the sales person had charged me the sale price as well the original price. I called the manager and told her the situation and she had said that she can give me a store credit. Why should I get a store credit when it wasn't my fault and I wasn't returning anything. They would not credit my debit card so now I am in a dispute with the bank to stop payment. I later spoke with another manager whom at the time was leaving the company and she told me that they can credit my card but they will not and that Forever 21 is a rip off store who takes your money any way they can. I will be filing this store with the Better Business Bureau and I have also told many people of my experience and to stay away from this store!!!! FOREVER 21 SHOULD BE PUT OUT OF BUSINESS FOR RIPPING PEOPLE OFF AROUND THE WORLD.
I got a gift card for x-mas, I kid u not, I have been tryn to call for the past 3 hrs. to get my balance!!! The phn. has disconnected on me twice!! First of all, there is not a number on the card to even call!! U have to go search on-line for that!! And like any "normal" business there is NO WAY to check ur balance on-line!!! I am speechless, "how in the world does a business operate this way?!" These people cud care LESS about pleasing their customers. They just want ur money and to get you out of their face asap!! If u continue to give it to them, well, it becomes "ur stupidity." I will NEVER shop in ANY of their stores after readn the comments and complaints!!! I work hard for my money and it will go in the hands of sumone who appreciates!! This "So called" company shud be very ashamed of themselves and it's like they dont even care!!! When will we see a change?!! Sum improvement?!
*Rocklin, CA / Galleria Mall* DO NOT WAIST YOUR MONEY OR TIME THAT THAT STORE. They employ 18-year-old air heads as Managers who twist their hair with their fingers. First, I was asked to leave the store because they were not opened but the doors were unlocked. There were other customers in the store, only me and my husband were asked to leave. BTW--we are Hispanics. Returned 30 minutes later and my husband, who was waiting for me was told "there is a sports bar he could sit at" while he waited for me to exchange a garmet. The store had 1 chair in the fitting rooms and no place for him to sit. I told him to wait where he was until I returned a blouse (with tags and receipt) which I paid cash for on 12/4/10. The Bimbette Manager rang up a gift card and handed me back my receipt. I told her I don't shop at the store, she shrugged her shoulders and told me I get store credit. I asked how long the card was good for and get this she replied "forever". Now that's an awefully, long time and sure that place will be out of business in no time. ThenI asked to exchange a $7 black change purse for a different color which was a Christmas gift and rudely told NO! Why, I asked. Because item had no tag. No really, why I asked, it was a Christmas gift. So I tossed the gift in Forever 21 in the trash behind the counter so the $8.25/hour Manager could see me. I wrote Corporate Headquarters in Los Angeles, CA to complain of the unprofessional retail service I received because I thought I was discriminated against and returned the gift card to them. I warned all friends to stay away from the place because I will not give my money to a store like that -- Not today or Forever :)
Las Vegas store in Fashion Show Mall had all dressing rooms but one blocked off. Line for dressing room had over 30 people in it. Ridiculous. Went to check out and cash registers closed. What was open had over 40 people in the line. Nothing is worth that mess. This was the worst run store I have ever sween in my life. I would say they had a teenager running the store, but I would hate to insult the teens out there.
I just took back a few Christmas items. 1 piece of broken jewelry(with no receipt) to Claire's. Exhanged it with no questions asked. A torn tank from Aeropostale - exchanged no questions asked. A special order Cricut from Joannes (with receipt that said no refunds for special order) returned with nop problems. I tried to EXCHANGE 2 gold rings for silver at FOREVER 21 and was told NOOOO and very rudely told NOOO. Not again. Pity to lose customers over maybe $10 exchange!
RE: PURCHASE MADE ON 12/23/2010 RECEIPT#: 0362-13-10011104 CASHIER: ANA GABRIELA 703908 I was attempting to make a purchase and noticed an unknown gentleman standing directly next to me. I then asked him "why are you standing next to me why I am tryiing to conduct my purchase." The cashier is still telling me to enter my pin nimber while this unknown gentleman is standing next to me. I refrused until he moved. But the cashier made me look like I was causing trouble, but all I was doing was protecting my identity and my credit card numer and pin number. When I was leaving the register she then apologized to the unknown gentleman. She never apologized to me. She never told him to remove himself. I am a customer of Forver21 and she made me feel very uncomfortable. The cashier need to be taught better customer service. This treatment has left a bad taste in my mouth and I will mot be shopping in your store if this is the way that your employees treat customers. The only reason that I did not contact the manager is because I was on my lunch break and it was during the Christmas rush. Thanks in advance Kamala
I have to take my dads credit card to buy my clothes, he is a heart surgeon and has discounts all around the mall. Forever 21 never let's me buy anything with his card. I show them my last name and it matches my dads. Pretty sure im not going to steal someones credit card. Forever 21 employees are so rude and do not help at all.
TERRIBLE WAY TO TREAT EMPLOYEES! My 20 year old daughter is working for forever 21 over the holiday break from college. 2 days ago(Thursday), a close relative passed away. When my daughter advised her "manager" that she would need to take Sunday and Monday off in order to attend the funeral-which is 230 miles from home-the manager gave her a list of employees to ask to cover her shift and that if she couldn't find someone, she would have to skip the funeral and work or face being fired. I own my own company and when one of my 100 plus employees calls to tell me that they have suffered a death in their family, my only question is, "how can I help?" Forever 21, IS THIS SERIOUSLY HOW YOU TRAIN YOUR MANAGERS TO MANAGE?? You have got to be kidding me. From what I have read on this site, you will be finished soon if you continue to treat people this way. We will see what happens on Tuesday and see if my daughter is indeed terminated. . Should she be terminated, I will be talking to everyone I know about this story, starting with my friends at the local TV station.
Charles Towne Center, Waldorf, MD When we entered the shop it was chaotic. The store had some really cute things and seemed to have a setup in mind that was never quite was fulfilled. The sales associate that helped me was named Bianca and she was very pleasant and helpful. The store manager was trying on shoes and boots adn trying to decide if they were comfortable or not. She was supposed to be working the cash register but was concentrating more on the shoes and talking to the associate manager. When she came to the counter she reached for the clothes and just started punching buttons. She never made eye contact or addressed me in any way. Then she saw a girl behind me that she knew and instead of waiting until the girl's turn at the counter she started having a conversation with her over my head. Then she says "put in your pin and punch the green button twice". That was all she said to be during the entire transaction. As I was leaving the counter I told her of her rudeness and she said "Well I am sorry - I am not a rude person" and she still never looked at me. Customer service suffers at this store! Will never go back.
I recently went into the store in the Palmdale mall. My granddaughters like to shop there because they can stretch their shopping dollars. I appreciate the low prices, although one does need to plow through lots of junky clothing to find appropriate clothing. Not sure if all the stores are as haphazard and crammed as the Palmdale one. There is NO way to find anything as there is minimal organization of types of clothing. I, too, have been charged twice during a transaction, and was given a store credit, rather than even my card being credited. This is apparently common practice in Forever 21, so I suggest you be vigilant while you are being rung up. Seems to be a corporate policy almost, to overcharge, then to ensure that they benefit financially from their "error"...sleazy business practices. My chief complaint, the one that sent me looking for this site, is that although I am offended by the earsplitting volume of the music in the store, I find that par for the course at Hollister and Tilly's and Aeropostle. What I DO NOT hear in those other stores is the F--- word in the songs, as I did at the Palmdale store. I complained, but have no confidence that I was heard. I am offended by that kind of lyric. Oh, by the way, I was shopping for CHRISTMAS, and am offended that there is NO mention of Christmas in the store. HELLO, we are spending $$ for CHRISTMAS, and Hannakuh and Kwanza, not generic holidays. Feel free to honor your customers by mentioning our important holidays by name. I am teaching my granddaughters that there are things more important than finding the cheapest bargains, and if a store violates our values we will not shop there.
I will never shop here again. It was my first and last purchase. I bought a dress and all that was mentioned about there "return policy" was that you only had 21 days with a receipt to return. I decided i didn't like the dress and went to return it. That's when they decided to inform me that i can only get store credit or an even exchange. I WAS LIVID. NEVER AGAIN WILL THEY GET ANYMORE OF MY MONEY.
Great concept, Cheap, Cheap, Cheap... But if it doesn't fit, do not expect to return it for credit other than in store...OH, Any type of accessories... absolutely no returns, or as the manager stated in a cold and abrupt manor, "I thought I told you no returns on accessories"! My first visit, was to the fab. down town Denver store. I had just had back surgery, my arms were full, I could barely stand, and the grungy looking boy, offered no help after I asked for it. He then proceeded to take off and giggle with another store employee. I looked around and realized there was absolutely NO customer service at all! My second trip was to exchange sizes. Since I only get to down town Denver once a month, I was told, OOPS! No exchanges after 21 days! OK, the girl did it just that once for me, and I had a fabulous girl help me spend 200.00 in Christmas gifts. When I got home to Littleton, I realized one of the shirts had a snag, and my sister in Idaho would not be able to return her gifts if they did not fit because there are no stores near her. So, off I go to SW Plaza Mall in Littleton, Co. to make exchanges, where I found the store a wreck, the manager a bitch, whom told me they were too buys to help me, as she yelled at her employee whom offered to help me, "NO-YOUR A CASHIER TONIGHT, AND I AM BUSY" Wow!!! Every stitch of merchandise was snagged, ripped, or on the floor, My hands were full, I needed help finding and exchanging, and not once did an employee say, "how are you doing, let me help you"! As a matter of fact, a young girl was drug by the arm to my side by the manager as she stated, "she can help you for a little bit" and after a little bit, she vanished. I eventually found a cute outfit for higher quality an less $ at Dillards. I then went back to Forever 21 and attempted to exchange a piece of jewelry. This is when the manager yelled at me about returns...(but I was just exchanging it, why did she yell). At that time I looked her straight in the eye, and stated, "Boy, you a really a Bitch, aren't you". At that point she stated, "You want to call me that again? I'll call security". I only laughed at her and stated, Your disposition in poor, you have no manors or people skills. I then thanked the young girl ringing up the in store credit when the girl stated, "I am so sorry". At that time the manager twisted her head around and yelled, "Do not apologize to her"! Wow!!! Ok, so this morning, my neighbor stated, "I tried to call and warn you about that store because I was there last night and had the same problems." She also went on to say how bad she felt that I had spent so much money in Denver at forever 21 and there was no refunding"... Oh well, I will give my 23 year old the in store credit for christmas, and NEVER EVER EVER SHOP THERE FOR GIFTS AGAIN.....NEVER!
No Stars. I just put 1 because system would not take less. I went to Forever 21 in Victorville Ca. Used my debit card for a purchase. Amount was charged/approved but no receipt printed. Clerk knew amount was approved, but because there was no receipt, I couldn't get merchandise. I spoke with a so-called CD Manager(Paul E) and he said because no receipt printed, I would not be able to get my merchandise. I checked with my bank while I was in the store and was told that the amount that I debited to my account was pending and the charge went through. The CD Manager said he was aware of a glitch in the system, but just wait until transaction goes through my bank. He told me to make a copy of my bank statement and they would give me my monies back. Keep in mind, I have no receipt and no proof that I don't have the merchandise. I tried to call their so called Corporate Office and I also tried to speak to a Manager at their store and got the run around. The person(Steven) who answered the phone said manager was busy, but he would see if he could get them. Instead, he put a person on the phone who said they were a CD Manager and the Manager was out. They may not care if we don't shop at their store, but word of mouth can be a killer.
This place sucks and their return policy is crazy. I will never shop at Forever 21 again!
