Family Dollar Corporate Office & Headquarters

Family Dollar at 3777 South High Street, Columbus, Ohio. A couple weeks ago, we bought a fan at another location in Columbus. The cashier AND the manager told us that a truck lost many of the fans off the truck while driving. They told us many of then have been returned because they "just quit working". They had over 20 returns in 3 days. We could return this fan at ANY location WITHOUT a receipt for this reason. Well, the fan quit working. We took it back to the South High location, as it's close to my home. The manager was rude, obnoxious and told us he wanted to see the security tape at the other location of us purchasing the fan before he would replace it. The fan was in the box, with Family Dollars stickers on it. He then said because it had a little dirt on it, we had used it! Well, Duh!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! We used it for 2 weeks, then it just died. I will NOT shop at ANY family dollar again.

Family Dollar in Taylor Ranch NM has cashiers who alternate wearing a name tag that reads DILLIGAF (Does it look like I give a F@#%). Can you believe it! Well I do. I won't be shopping there again. I am telling eveyone I know from kids teams/ schools, church, work and friends not to shop there. Doesn't anyone manage that store?

I used to shop at the Family Dollar in Los Fresnos, Texas (the only store in that small town) and I can't stand the store employees. One lady does not speak english and if she does, she refuses to speak it. She looks like she has something stuck up her butt, with the stupid mean look she has on her face. I read a comment about how many people are looking for work and they should work on customer service. Another thing is the store is always nasty and hot and crap everywhere. The employees take absolutely no pride in their work or work environment. I go to the Dollar General right across the street where employees do speak ENGLISH and the store is always neat and clean! HATE FAMILY DOLLAR stores!!!!

I AM A FORMER WORK AT FAMILY DOLLAR AND WAS THERE 4 NOT EVEN A MOUTH B4 I GOT ROB OUT OF MY JOB. I LOVED MY JOB. I WAS A STOCKER AND THE STORE MANAGER WHO GOT FIRED (THANK GOD) ISNT THERE ANYMORE. I DID MY JOB RITE AND SHE TOOK ALL THE GLORY 4 HERSELF. SHE NEVER DID LIKE MY CAUSE I KNEW MY JOB MORE THEN SHE KNEW HERS. I TRIED 2 GET BACK IN BUT, SHE PUT THAT IM NOT REHIREABLE. SHE TOLD ME 2 WAIT AT HOME UNTIL THE TRUCK CAME THAT MORNING AND WHEN I CALLED UP THEREE, I NO LONGER HAVE A JOB. WHAT KIND OF CRAP IS THAT!!!!!!!!!!!!! I DID WHAT SHE TOLD ME 2 DO. I WOULD LOVE 2 WORK BACK AT FAMILY DOLLAR AGAIN. ITS IN GEORGETOWN, SC. MY NUMBER IS 843-318-9083 OR 843-240-7081.

I am a long time shopper of Family Dollar and I have to say that I have been pleased with my experiences during my shopping trips. The employees of the local stores around my area have been wonderful. They are very helpful and always seem to be up beat and happy. I think it would be a benefit to the company and there employees if customer had a more convenient way to express there feelings. Like possible a comment card section in the stores with a drop in box. I work in retail and I notice that people will go out of there way to complain, but wouldn't it be nice to hear how more often your employees are doing there jobs rather than only the complaints that people will go out of there way to make known! Employees work harder when they are praised for there hard work and not only hearing when they made a mistake! Good job Family Dollar team in Eutawville and Holly Hill, South Carolina!

I went today with my 3 & 5 year old . Like every shopping trip my son is looking around wanting toys...and like always I'm right behind him ensuring he doesn't grab anything our break anything. The cashier was eyeing us the whole time, she later yelled in front of other customers that I needed to control my kids! Ok...I tell my son to be good and the cashier continues to ramble to the customer she's checking out about how she hates people like me who can't control their kids. I don't understand how any business can continue to employ ignorant unprofessional personnel. I will never shop at any other family dollar! The cashier's attitude was unnecessary. All my son did was bounce a ball he found out of place...

I am a frequent customer in my local Family Dollar and have ALWAYS received wonderful customer service until this morning. I walked in and a woman was on her cell phone talking about her children and cooking meat. I proceeded to get my items and was checking out she was still on the phone. The only thing she said to me was "do you want this in a sack?" I called to speak with a manager later and found out she was the manager. When I told her how rude and unprofessional she was, she proceeded to argue with me. She stated it was her family that called and the first call was a manager. I told her the conversation she had when I was there was a personal call. She said they had called earlier and she works 60 hours a week. I told her that was not my problem and that if she treated her customers that way she should not be in the managerial prosition. I will not be back in the store until she is either transferred or removed fromI it. I live directly behind the store so it is very convenient but I will no longer step foot in the store nor will the rest of my family until this is resolved.

I live in Wilkes County and I shop at the North Wilkesboro Store (#0164). I just want you to know that the employees are always curtious and friendly. I go by there on my lunch break and I find all kinds of things. Some I need and some I don't. You must have a good HR person to find this quality of help. Thanks so much.

I went to the store in San Antonio,Texas store #4768 @803 Castroville Rd. I went there to buy somethings i needed cause it was a good place to shop until today. i told an employee that i was going to leave my bag in the front and she said yes go ahead so i did. trusting the store employees well they were to busy talking that someone else took my bag of items. i felt hurt cuase it was birthday gifts n my ear rings.. im never going to get those back. well everybody there look like it was my felt but it was theirs. Mr. Lopez the store manager was a big help. He was very helpful..

BREMEN IN. works the same young lady all the time she might get 1 day off and she is concerned part time with part pay. Other 2 are full time make more money and they get 2 to 3 days off a week or weekend with the parttime works just about every weekend. the parttime girl has asked for a rise and more days offe with no results...... this is why they have turn over.. VERY BAD BUSINESS... If the manger can't be fair she needs to go.... she is make sure she has good hours off holidays. And took off nearly 3 weeks when her mother was sick while the part time girl worked 16 hours a day.... this needs to change....

I often go to the Family Dollar Store located in Siler City, North Carolina. I agree with alot of what the other people are saying about the type of people who work in the stores. I hate it when I arrive at the store and the manager Lily and her cashiers are smoking in front of the door. I have to breathe that smoke if I decide to go inside. The store is always a mess. The people in the store are young and playful. I think I need to put in an application to get paid to play that part of the job must be nice. The sad thing is that I have a friend that works her butt off for the store and its not even appreciated, hell her District Manager might as well have slapped her in the face when she tried to tell her the (DM) what was going on in the store. FAMILY DOLLAR NEEDS TO STOP REVAMPING THE STORES AND REVAMP MANAGEMENT FROM THE DM'S DOWN TO THE CASHIERS.

I went to a family dollar store in pasadena tx and it shocked me to see this store didnt have not one black hair caccare product.no oil or nothing can someone contact me about this matter 2819127885 cause this shocked the shit out of me

Was at Family Dollar today, they had a big sign on the door of the pop cooler: Buy 2 20 oz. coke and 2snickers to go bars, receive $2.00 off the purchase. They would not honor the sign, said you needed a coupon for it. I asked for the coupon, was told they didn't have any. No coupon, No money off. I told them, they better take down the sign. Was still there later. You can send the $2.00 in coupons to my e-mail address. Pretty bad when you don't honor the signs in your store. Marge

I always shop at the store located at 3645 potee st, baltimore maryland. There is only one cashier working when extremely busy. Plus there is an old lady that works there who is very rude and slow. Also they just hired a girl who is always on her phone and not ringing people up like she is supposed to. It took me litterally 45minutes to pay for some hangers cause they are slow and on their phones all the time. When I complain or my husband they say it is policy just hang in there or do not shop here.

What are you guys going to do about the unprofessional store in my neighborhood? You need to put more lines then one in their and people who work their are real slow and on their phones all the time. I am going to start shopping else where. You need to do sumething cause it is a sad day in brooklyn maryland at your store

I posted back in February about how much I liked my job at Family Dollar as an assistant manager. I now wish to retract every good thing I said about that horrible place. My manager is a completely unprofessional, lazy, dishonest, backstabbing horrible person. My coworkers are nice, however, and I feel bad for them having to put up with her. The store is a complete wreck and the manager blames the assistants for all of it, while she, herself is usually on vacation or leaves early. I am SO out of there.

I could not believe my eyes when I walked in your store located at 1355 Bessemer Rd. Birmingham, AL. The store was very clean and organized. I asked the clerk that rung me up did they have a new manager, he said yes. I complimented on how nice the store looked and I will go back and shop again. It has been a while since I been in there but now I will return. The clerk were very nice and quickly checked us out. The leadership shows in the atmosphere, employees, and store condition. I just left the store at 15:pm per my receipt, it is now 15:37pm. Wow keep up the good work!!

the general manager at 4243 store in ducktown tennessee is a living nightmare she yells at her employees she tells them they cant talk to the customers and she hires people that she has relations with because of her STUPID son she should not be a manager i will refuse to go back to any family dollar till someone gets rid of her the best workers that she has she gets rid of and doesnt give them their hours they need. SOME ADVISE to this store if you dont want your workers how about TAKE THE FAMILY OUT OF FAMILY DOLLAR SIGNS EVERYWHERE CAUSE YOU WILL LOOSE MORE CUSTOMERS THAN YOU WILL WANT !!!!!!!!!!!!!!

my experience in with the store at the corner of getwell and rhodes in memphis tenn is horrible the cashiers are very rude i have been there on several occassions by myself and with my husband and all we had at the time were one hundred dollar bills and the cashier rudely attached us for not having smaller bills to where the other customers in line had to speak out and said they are the customers why are yall being so rude the problem truly needs to be addressed cause the store is losing long time customers i suggest that you send a mystery shopper to the location cause the service is gone down the drain thanks again and i do love the family dollar chains but this one which is right around the corner from my home is terrible.
