donuts are nice. they smooth out the mind. they are among us. My girlfriend is a donut.
No complaint with the food, or the staff of the DD on Lafayette Blvd in Bridgeport, CT. They did a great job. Except the phone number they gave me to contact corporate was actually to some chat line. BIG complaint with the pervert customer there who was watching XXX porn on the free wifi. I really wanted to make him stop, all by myself, violently, but my good sense took over and I called the cops. What the heck is wrong with some people?
I probably never would be typing this complaint but I was very unyhappy with the manager of the Dunkin Donuts at 7300 Royal Palm Blvd. Coral Springs Fla. My husband and I stopped for some coffee while waiting for some friends on 11/21/2010. We purchased two cups of coffee and a low fat blueberry muffing. I usually don't stop there go to Starbucks where the cream and milk are in containers and you can fix your own. So the guy that waited on us gave us our coffee which I took and my husband took his along with the muffin. As we were sitting down the coffee spilled on my arm the lid was not on correctly well my left wrist had a hasty burn on it.Somewoman there said put some cool water on it which I did. I went up the service counter becasue half the coffee was gone and I needed some milk. My huband poured some coffee from his over filled cup into mine the guy added cream.I told him what happened he apologized for not putting the lid on properly which accidents happen. I then went up to a gentleman that seemed to be running the place explained what happened and thats what angered me. He said "you know the coffee is hot" how stupid did he think I was? yes I did but your guy didn't put the lid on. No sympathy at all I asked for a business card didn't have one and wouldn't give us his name. I wasn't planning to sue just if I went to t he Dr he could pay the bill for the burn. It was just his attitude but I should of know when I saw who was running the store. So it will be Starbucks all the time now you lost two more customers and I am sure that doesn't matter but boy word of mouth is your best advertisement.
Last year when I was 16, I worked at Dunkin for 4 months before I had to get another job; it was horrible. Everyday we threw away over a hundred perfectly good food items(donate to the hungry? NOT DUNKIN DONUTS!), we had a nest of rats living in the dumpster, there were maggots in the latte machine (little do you people know), the dairy machine we used daily smelled like vomit, and I encountered every existing insect while working there. Although many of my co-workers didn't, I used the latex gloves I was allergic to because you wouldn't provide me with anything else, and if taking out the trash, cleaning the floors, and wiping down the counters wasn't enough, you people made me climb dangerous equipment (such as HOT ovens) to wash the stupid walls and ceilings! Plus, I worked night shifts at 16 (this is illegal in my state)! Then you have the audacity to demand that something as petty as the Donuts being lined in your perfect little order 24/7? Give me a freaking break! The easiest and apparently least important part of the job was MAKING COFFEE - funny because that's what I thought I got hired to do... all this for minimum wage and the lack of tips you "donate." One time, a customer was so pleased with my service, he put $5 in an envelope so it would be a "gift" and not a "tip" and handed it to me. And though she watched it happen, my manager said I couldn't keep it because my name wasn't on it. She made me "donate" it. ...This is why DD has horrible service, at least most of the time. Remember the good old days when there were tips - the coffee tasted like just that (not hot water) and the service was a LEAST a little more decent than it is today? P.s. I work at McDonald's now and love it!!!
I work at the Dunkin Donuts on 9400 Harford road and tonight I was scheduled until 10 p.m., the overnight shift person who was supposed to come in and relieve me Aubrey S. did not call. I waited around until 10:55 and my shift leader notified our manager for the second time that the overnight girl was still not there. He told us that he had gotten ahold of her and said that her "husband" said that she was on her way. Around 11:30 there was still no show from her and she has done this multiple times as both me and my shift leader have notified our manager every time. She showed up at almost 12 a.m and did not clock in or count her register when she walked in. She said sorry guys and my shift leader said no you're not or you wouldn't keep doing this. She said whatever and called my shift leader a b*&ch and said if you wanna hit me go ahead and do it on camera b&*ch and walked away. A customer came in and i notified her, while she was talking to her so called husband on the phone about what had just happened, that she needed to come take the customer. She stood in the back and still stayed on the phone. My shift leader made the customers order and I notified the girl that there was a customer and she needed to come count in. She said well then back away from the register I responded with I'm counting out you go count the other one. As she went to the other register I am not quite sure what she said but I responded with I am so sick of you being this late on my time ! I said you, were late on october 31st and now you're late again! she said f*&k this sh*t and she grabbed her things and said im f*&king leaving, I quit and said you guys are gunna be working at Dunkin all your life and then proceeded out the door. I feel that I should not be treated like that in a professional environment nor in front of customers! She has only been here a few months and has been coming late for the past month. I do not know why management has not fired her but I feel that something needs to be done!
I just visited the Dunkin Donuts in Merrick, New York at about 3:30 on Saturday, the 13th of November. Noticing that one of my favorite kinds of dounts was not in any of the bins behind the counter, I asked if they still made a chocolate donut with cream inside. I was responded to with a curt and abrupt negative answer by the female employee handling my request. I had $11.99 worth of packaged coffee that I also wanted to purchase and I paid for it and left. I should have dropped the package on the counter and left as she was rude and insulting to me. I will never again go into that store. Dunkin Donuts should be ashamed to have someone like her represent such a time honored brand. Reading all the previous comments about the Dunkin Donuts employee service makes me wonder if anyone at the Corporate level really cares about their name and image anymore. Your product is not worth taking the insults that people seem to be taking these days. Shape up!!
This is in response to June Johnson... 1-The employees of Dunkin Donuts really STINK. They are rude and nasty as well...but June...you are a BIGOT and you deserve someone to actually spit in your coffee before giving it to you. There is NO excuse for you to be racist...grow up BITCH!
i visited the dunkin donuts store located on Airport Blvd. in Pensacola, Fl this morning. I had coupons for $1.00 off a hot or cold latte. I had my son with me so we were going to get 2 lattes and some breakfast food. We pulled into the drive thru line, waited a good 6-8 min to get up to where u place your order. I told the employee that i had the coupons and that i would like to order 2 lattes using 2 coupons, he and the RUDE manager named Tonya informed me that in the drive thru you could use only one coupon per vehicle even though it does not state this on the coupon nor were there any signs at entrance to inform customers. The manager proceeded to argue the point with me instead of saying, "Since you didn't know and since it is not stated on the coupon nor any where else, i will honor both coupons this time but for now on know that our policy is only one coupon per vehicle." Instead she said it was the corporate offices fault that it is not printed on the coupon. So, REALLY I would say that was extremely POOR managerial skills to piss off a customer over $1.00. Believe me I will tell all my family, friends, co-workers, and patients of this experience I had. Good customer service goes a long way. I would NOT want this Tonya to be an empoloyee of mine mush less a so called manager!
Every morning I go to the dunkin donuts in Columbia,Tn they are out of something. I've asked for a strawberry cream cheese bagel and gotten it ordered and gotten to the window to be told they are out of strawberry cream cheese! I've went numerous times and been told they are out of bagels. How do you run out of your breakfast products in the morning and that is the main time of day when you get your business? Also, I saw an advertisement about their new pancake sausage bites. The next morning I ordered some and was told they were temporarily out of them. I have received very poor service from this restaurant. Would not recommend this place to anyone!!!
I would give zero stars if it would allow me. The DD on Bridge St in Wey has an employee named Stevee Davenport who has called me a piece of shit in front of my son, told me she spit in my coffee, and the threw my change all over the growing at the drive through and told me to pick it up. I called corporate and was told I'd get a phone call from the owner. Never happened and I drive by and she's still working there. Corporate could care less about your complaint so I just don't go to Dunkins anymore. I've actually gotten alot of people to go else where too.
I am a dunkin donut addict. I love my iced coffee. I live in fitchburg, Ma. Everyday I go the dunkin donuts on river street and everyday they screw up my order. Where the hell are you getting these people from? They have got to be the dumbest people I know. My husband went in recently and ordered me a latte. They argued with him for 10 minutes that lattes did not come with whipped cream. WTF!!!!! Are you serious? You people, as a business, need to give better training to your employees. I just went there this morning through the drive thru, placed my order, and when I went to receive my order, THEY SCREWED UP.....AGAIN!!!!! They forgot a drink and when I told them about it, they charged me for it! Now tell me something;...why should I, as a customer, pay for their stupidity???? Because of their screw up, I should have received my drink for free. Be thankful that I'm not the one running the corporate cause a lot would be changed. I know the business world and for you all being a franchise, you sure have no idea what you are doing. Every time one of your employees mess up an order, the customer, as a right, should receive their order for free. I am very disappointed and very frustrated how this dunkin donuts is dealt with. Please do something to improve these people on their services and skills. I'm pretty sure I'm not the first person to have a problem with these people.
Please open up a dunkin donuts in bradenton on manatee ave in fl 34209. there is no good coffee shops and they closed two of them down one on manatee ave and one on 41, what is the problem, please reply, phyllis
Dunkin Donuts; I am not happy with many east coast DD. Many of your establishments do not carry garlic bagels or salmon spread. I wonder if this is a religious or cultural thing, possibly both. Over the past few years this is an ever more increasing fact. Whatever the reason DD was, (was) my favorite stop for garlic bagel and salmon spread. Sad to say now I must find a replacement. Also since I am already spending a postage stamp your stores are not that clean and friendly any more. It started when you eliminated the donut that gave you your name. Remember the old-fashioned with the handle. I know I just dated myself. I am sad to see you go. You do have the name, however not the class and pride the old stores had. Ray S. Traveling between FL and PA many times a year.
i went to the DD on state st new haven ct next 2 the DMV office about 7pm and they didn't have any DOUNTS what kinda of dunkin dounts is that???
I was recently in the DD/Baskin Robins in Mentor ohio in front of Lowes I seen what appeared to be the Female Manager smoking pot by a dumpster is this good business?,I also seen her carrying out alot of product that appeared to be unprepared food and putting it in her car.
I visited the store close to home yesterday morning here in carmel indiana about 9:20 am and went thru drive thru and ordered a medium coffee and a donut, I always ask for extra cream and extra sugar in the coffee and extra of both on side just in case. I pulled into a parking space to taste coffee and possibly adjust it, i took a sip and it was pure black coffee, so i pulled around to the window again and advised the lady my coffee was wrong, she then advised the other worker that my coffee was wrong and to re make it, in the meantime the girl that was to remake my coffee was making a large coffe for the car in back of me and she was pouring the coffee into a large cup and stopped after the shift supervisor told her to remake mine now, mind you the drive thru window was still open so i could see and hear EVERYTHING!!!! the first thing i heard was why waste it, so the girl began to pour my coffee into the large cup that she started to pour and re made mine, the shift leader came back to me and handed me my cup and i told her you just poured my coffee into the customer behind me's cup, she immediatley said no no i did not and i said yes you did i just watched you with my own eyes. She was upset and walked away, i sat there at the window and it was still open and she advised the other girl to throw out the large coffee because "the customer (me) says she drank out of her coffee. That is so GROSS!!!!!!!!! Its nice not to waste i am all about it, but how could you give another person my leftovers!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! i have called the store several times and still 24 hrs later no response so finally i have called the corporate office, hopefully they do something about this.
I was visiting the Donkin Donuts in Hanover Md. several weeks after getting a job in that area. Every time I went in there the Maniger (Mexican of corse) would be hollering at the other employees nasty as could be. My order was ALWAYS wrong and half the time it was his fault and he would blame it on fellow workers. I then decided to stop at another store in Edgewater Md. this morning and they got my order wrong.......... The guy ahead of me had to have them make his three times before they got it right. What the heck is happening?? Is Dunkin Donuts in need of the money that bad that they can not pay an AMERICAN or AMERICANS, to work there to oversee the enployees so we can get what we want??? I am looking for another place to stop and will not go back to either place............ ANOTHER DISGRUNDLED CUSTOMER. (And I can see from the reviews, there ater a lot of us!!!)
I had a coupon from Dunkin Donuts for a discounted price on two bags of coffee. It was the last day. I went to our local Dunkin Donuts at 7:00 am to find that there were no bags of ground coffee. No bags of ground coffee at the Dunkin Donuts? The manager's solution. Take home two bags of whole bean coffee and bring them back on Monday for an exchange. Now that's just what I want. Someone taking home coffee and then returning them to be resold. The coffee and donuts are great but this manager should have come up with a better solution. I guess I will buy my Dunkin Donuts Coffee at Walgreens. No wonder American business is failing.
My daughter worked for the Dunkin Donuts location on Blanding Blvd in Orange Park Florida. This was her very first job. What we thought would be an excellent opprotunity for her was just the opposite. Here are some of the things encountered: *She was called to come in 30 minutes prior to a shift on her scheduled off day and when she explained that she was not able to come in because she was on the other side of town working on a school project, she was then told not to bother to come in the for rest of the week (although scheduled) Feeling punished, I encourage my daughter to hang in there. *The next day she was scheduled to work she was instructed to clean the entire store top to bottom including the outside dumpster (inside and out) Not knowing any better, she cleaned the entire store spotless! *When arriving for her shift which began at 3pm, she was told by another associate that the store ran out of cream earlier only to later to be yelled at by her manager because she did not call her to advise. She had never been given instruction on what to do in this situation and that same manager was doing an inventory check list the day before. *Now just recently my daughter was terminated by phone for being accused of storing items in the register when she wasn't even aware of how to do that until 4 hours after she was terminated. This could only mean that someone had access to her register numbers. I work for a very large comany and in the last 20 years I have never heard or experienced such poor management. My daughter worked her entire shift everyday without breaks or lunch and always did what was asked with no complaints. I now understand the reason for the high turnover. I hope that someone will look into this store and let the facts speak for themselves.
What do you think when the manager admits that they threatened your job!
