Dollar General Corporate Office & Headquarters

The Dollar General store in Millington looks like crap most of the time. However, recently they quit cleaning the parking lot. Now it looks like it belongs in a run down neighborhood on the wrong side of town. I told the clerk that the parking lot looked awful as I walked in and she looked at me like SOOOOOOOOOO.

Just left one of your stores on 5200 Albemarle Road which is fairly new. I would like to complain about the parking lot. it is a dump and if it continues, we in the immediate area will partition to have your lease broken. There is never enough employees and my concerns are not taken serious. I regret that, but they are.

Dollar General - 2421 Fm 1092 Rd, Missouri City, TX 77459... ...I am a very concerned citizen and licensed reverend. I have been going to this Dollar General for years...but since the employees have turned over, and the new manager has changed, I will not be coming to this store again. The last two times I was in this store I have been treated with disrespect and racism. The manager is a black american and hires nothing but black americans. There is no greeting upon entering the store, lack of help with the store items, and they advertise in such a vague way that when called on for verification they create thier own interpretations of the rules. For instance, on Jan.29th, 2011 I tried to buy 4 boxes of Debbie Snack Cakes for 5 dollars. It said 6 and 12 count, but no exclusions or revisions or sizes other than the 6 or 12 count. So, I took them, amoung others, a 12 count box of oatmeal snack cakes. They chose not to sell it to me, even though they could not come up with an exclusion and the paper that was shown to me said oatmeal snack cakes. I asked for the managers name, and the woman said she was the manager, would not give me her name or the supervisors name,she said if I did not leave she would call the police. I did nothing wrong other than trying to get a fair shake. I left and did in fact mention a complaint would be filed. I did get a camera image of the advertisement, and the supervisor can additionally look at the camera footage of the store for verification. Ultimately this store has lost at least 4 customers simply from the attitude of this woman and her lack of understanding of advertisement and management as a whole. Dollar General is ripping off customers with their supposedly $5.00 off coupons. Just shopped there and according to their ad they accept manufacture coupons but what they don't tell you is you can't use them with the $5.00 off coupon. I purchased over $28.00 of mercandise (before taxes) and had $3.00 worth of manufacture coupons which still left the before tax balance over $25.00 but was told I could use either that $5.00 coupon or the $3.00 worth of coupons not both. Talked to all employees there and was told there was nothing anybody could do. I even asked if they would give me a store credit but was refused.

Since you got a new manager at the 2000 Gault Avenue store in Fort Payne, Alabama and all new employess but one......this store has gone downhill. They are all rude! The manager will not let Donna who has been there forever talk to customers. I have ask for help and she said she's not suppose to talk while she shows you where something is. The manager and all the new sales people are rude/don't ever smile/act like you are a burden coming in to shop/grumble about each other. The ONLY reason I still go in there.....it's on my was home after work.

I enjoy shopping at Dollar General and shop there at least once a week....I would like to see the Clover Valley tea mixture products being sold in the Clarksville, TN stores again. This is the least that could be done for military families residing in this area!!

The manager at the dollar genaeral on western aevenue in knoxville tn is a total idiot. Her skills at scheduling the employees are atrocious, they never know when their days off will be or what hours they will work from week to week, or how many days in row they will have to work to get a day off. They basically can plan no personal life at all. She needs to be replaced before dollar general looses some good and faithful employees.

This is regarding the manager @ the Emlenton, PA Dollar General. She is very rude to customers & employees. She tells customers she hates the people in this town, hates the store, hates her "stupid" employees. Dresses like a slob, has cigarette breaks every 15 min. The store is a mess!!! Carts & baskets sit around in the store with merchandise that should be on the shelves. When the store is busy there is only one register open & she keeps cutting employees hours when there should be more employees at the registers. People complain & employees complain but we live in a small town with only one other store & high unemployment so there isn't much choice but to go into Dollar General even with the store the way it is. We need a new manager!!!!!

i love shopping at DG but what i hate the most is customer service, everytime i go in im in line for at least 10-15 mins for 1 thing and when u ask if someone else can open the other register, there answer always is, shes working freight or busy with something else and this is store #00757, they need more help on registers this store always busy. thank you

The manager at your Roxboro,NC store 09757 is very rude and disrespectful to her customers and to her employees.She is always asking the customers to buy her things and on holidays she will ask them to bring her food from their holiday dinners.I have even heard her talking to some of her employees very hateful and if i would have been that employee i would have walked out on her that day.Since I have seen how your manager of that store, Bonnie Hopkins,acts towards her customers and how rude and hateful she is to her employees; my family, friends, myself and the ones that my friends have told will never shop with Dollar General again. One person will ruin it for all.

I was in store 0296 in lenoir city tennessee today and bought a few items. I am very pleased to say that these girls greeted me as soon as I opened the door. I was walking around I guess I looked confused because the cashier came up to me and asked me if I needed any assistance. I told her yes and she took me straight to where I needed to go and even suggested that I buy an item to go with it when I declined she understood completely and proceeded to check me out. I went back into the store to tell the manager that they had very good help she was very rude and acted as though i was annoying her i really do not like this woman and i will not go back into that store as long as her gold car is in the parking lot. The managers name was vickie. I have never had any other problems from any of the other managers they are all sweet. I think it would be in your best interest to get rid of the snobs and get a nicer one in there.

I was shopping at your store in Rock Island,TN. However I will no longer. The store manger Michelle was very rude. She looked like I was an inconvinence to her to have her wait on me. On another occasion she didn't want to come up front when another employee paiged her, the employee had to paige several times,acting as though she didn't hear her but you could tell she did. I have also seen her talk down to the other employees.

I was in the Dollar General located in Festus,Mo. today on the way home from work. I frequent this store when i am in a hurry vs. going to wal-mart. I picked up several items, 1 being cans of cat food. the price on the shelf advertised 5 cans of 9-lives for $1.00. I put 10 cans in my cart. at the check out counter they rang up twice the advertised price= $.40 per can instead of $.20. the manager was called only for her to throw her hands up in the air and tell that her register cannot change the problem.She then opened up the second register to check out others in line behind me while she totally ignored the problem of over pricing me, than had the nerve to act as if I was a problem. nothing like "bait and switch" and a manager that can't manage. another problem with this country! the consumer always pays!

I have been shopping at the Dollar General in Harrodsburg KY for many many years. I have noticed that they have hired new mgnt. The one girl her name tag says Amy, is the best!! She helps out everybody and is very nice. Why cant the dollar sotre hire more people like her. I hope she sticks around because since she started there the store is alot cleaner and nicer to be in. I STOP INTO YOUR STORE IN FREDONIA NEW YORK ,WHERE I HAVE NOTICE YOU HAVE A VERY GOOD MANAGER IN PLACE THERE.I HAVE BEEN IN THERE SEVERAL TIMES BECAUSE OF MY WORK.I KNOW SOMETHINGS ABOUT MANAGEMENT,I HAVE BEEN WITH 2 MAJOR COMPANIES AS A AREA SUPERIVOR.ONE OF MY JOBS WAS TRAINNING EVERY MANAGER FROM THE STATE OF KENTUCKY.THE REASON I WRITE IS TO TELL YOU THAT THIS LADIE YOU HAVE RUNNING YOUR STORE IS TOP KNOCH.I DONT KNOW OF HER OFFICES SKILLS , BUT WORKING THE FLOOR STOCKING AND CLEANNING SHE WORKS HARDER THAN ANY PERSON I HAVE SEEN.GREAT CUSTOMER SERVICE,WHICH IS HELD HIGH BY HER AND HER EMPOLYEE .IF I WAS STILL IN THE BUSSINESS AND NEEDED A MANAGER OR A SUPERVISER I WOULD BE TALKING TO THIS YOUNG LADIE.

I recently had a horrible experience with one of your managers......one of the rudest most unprofessional ppl that i have ever encountered. I no longer enjoy shopping there (i use to visit your store everyday). This manager (Stacy) needs to be educated on how to be handle herself when dealing with the public or you all are going to lose lots of customers:(

I went to the Dollar General Store at 1414 E Harding Ave in Pine Bluff, Arkansas on Thursday, January 6th. I went to the store around 4pm. I went to purchase some Old Spice deodorant, and I saw a sign beneath the item that said the product was $2 instead of the regular price of $3.75. So, when I went to the register the cashier had a nasty attitude and told me the item rung up to be $3.75 instead of the $2. And to make a long story short she asked another cashier to look at the price of the item to see if I was telling the truth, and the other cashier saw where the deodorant was marked down to $2. Yet, the cashier at the check out said that the $2 discount wasn't shown in the system at her cash register in a nasty way! I think this cashier needs an attitude adjustment!!!! She is a light skinned, short haired, pregnant black lady!!!!Once you all get this addressed your company here will have more satisfied customers!!!!

i and my family have been shopping at the dollar general in oologah ok, for the last 4 years. a year ago my son's ex girlfriends's sister in law started as working as the manager. over this time there have been small infractions that she has started with my oldest daughter including but not limited to trying to get a cussing match started in the store by accusing my daughter of throwing stuff off the shelves into the floor. when in reality a child that was with my (grown) daughter had bumped something and knocked off by accident and before they could pick it up diana jumped on them. but the latest and incidents have been worse and more humiliating, he and her employees have started chasing us around the store and popping in and out from behind shelves acting like we have stolen something. we shop at that store daily and have never stolen a thing and id like to see any proof they have. because at this point im calling my lawyer and filing complaint charges against dollar general corp. for harassment and slander because we have heard them blatantly call us thieves while we walk by. and my proof of their actions is on the monitor records in the store that date 12/19/2010 - 12/20/2010 - 12/21/2010 and now 1/3/2011
